Update 5-4-22
One of the biggest lies that is propagated today – in both Christendom and the secular world – is of a Great Awakening. I have no doubt that my stating this about such a popular subject would offend many Christians were they to listen to this Prophecy Update. Of course, the truth of the matter is that those who believe in this deception (yes, I’m using inflammatory words to describe this) don’t normally gravitate toward Bible prophecy teaching. Thus, few who need to hear why they’re being conned into this belief will listen.
Right off the bat, you may think that my speaking of lies, deception, and being conned in relation to the Great Awakening is rather harsh. Hopefully, when we finish today, you’ll think a little differently.
Bible prophecy is one of the least taught aspects of Scripture. You’d think that with how the Bible equates Jesus with prophecy in Revelation 19:10 that pastors and churches wouldn’t give it such little attention. After all, prophecy is literally equated with the testimony of Jesus. Shouldn’t all Christians desire to know the witness of Jesus through the testimony of prophecy? Apparently not, as it is one of the least communicated and understood of all Biblical subjects.
It’s for this reason that far too many followers of Jesus Christ believe there will be a Great Awakening, or to put it another way – that a great worldwide revival will occur. This is in contrast to what the Bible actually says of these end times.
And what is that? The world will grow spiritually darker, and God will exact judgment upon it for its unbelief.
