“And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows'” (Matthew 24 4-8).
If anything – the Blood-Washed, Born-Again believers in Jesus should be getting excited! Some may think that this kind of talk is a bit crazy. But don’t you see??! The Creator of the Universe – our FATHER – foreknew all of the events happening in our world; and because he is Omniscient, he knows what will happen tomorrow – next week – next month, and so on and so on. AND He is in full control!
The Lord tells us in His Word about these events!
FEAR NOT!!
But for those who are anxious and frightened because they are not certain that they are right with God – then I completely understand why you are terrified.
Do you want to be right with God? Do you understand that you are a sinner in need of a Savior? Trust me; God cannot be mocked. If any person comes to Him only to escape terrifying future events – He knows your heart!
He will know those who truly want to belong to Him and truly understand the wickedness within their own hearts!
You need to REPENT, and in essence, that means to agree with God that you are a sinner and that there is only one way to be right with God and to belong to God:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
