Millennial Meditations: Millennium Part Four [last] :: By Bill Pierce

THE LORD’S HOLY MONARCHY

A monarchy is ‘A state or government in which the supreme power is lodged in the hands of a single person’ (Noah Webster, 1828). When God himself rules as “King of kings, and Lord of lords” (1Timothy 6:15; Revelation 19:16), his holy monarchy will be the most excellent of all forms of government!

Our great God and King—When the LORD their God was their King, Israel foolishly desired a man to be king over them (1Samuel 12:12)! Samuel warned them of the unfavorable consequences. “Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us; That we also may be like all the nations…” (1Samuel 8:10-22). The heathen nations continue to rage “against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us” (Psalm 2:1-3).

With great expectation as a redeemed son of God, I am “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13)! I will be with him “at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints” (1Thessalonians 3:13) to this unbelieving world to “judge and make war” (Revelation 19:11). After the Lord’s overwhelming victory, great voices in heaven will declare: “The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).

The Lord Jesus will rule the world by his absolute power (Matthew 28:18) and with “a rod of iron” (Revelation 12:5; 19:15); “For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods” (Psalm 95:3; Deuteronomy 10:17; Nehemiah 8:6; Proverbs 26:10; Revelation 19:17). “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28) will reign “a great King over all the earth” (Psalm 47:2). The Lord Jesus Christ, “the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords” (1Timothy 6:15; Revelation 17:14; 19:16), will sit upon the throne of his holiness in Jerusalem (Matthew 5:35; Psalm 48:1-2; Isaiah 24:21-23; Psalm 47:1-9).

Joint heirs with Christ—The privilege to reign with Christ on the earth as kings and priests during the millennium (Revelation 5:10) is a reward that is earned by believers who are “labourers together with God” (1Corinthians 3:9): faithful believers who submit themselves to God, who is working in them “both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Philippians 2:13; James 4:7).

While they remain on the earth, before they are caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1Thessalonians 4:16-18), this is the duty and sanctification of all believers after “being born again” (1Peter 1:23): “born of the Spirit” (John 3:6-8). The apostle Paul commanded believers: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23-24).

If we suffer for righteousness’ sake in this life, “we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us [the reward of reigning with him]” (2Timothy 2:12). We know that those who keep God’s works in this evil world will suffer because the scripture declares: “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2Timothy 3:12). The scripture promises: “The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward” (Proverbs 11:18). All “the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26) are “heirs of God.” However, only those children who suffer with him will be “joint-heirs with Christ” and be “glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:17-18).

In his letter to the angel of the church at Thyatira, the Lord Jesus said: “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father” (Revelation 2:26-27). The Lord will make “us [the joint-heirs with Christ] unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” (Revelation 5:10; 1:6). The scriptures plainly declare that “all the saints” (Zechariah 14:5) will come with Christ at his second coming. All the saints will live in his millennial kingdom, but not all of the saints will rule the nations as kings!

Unfaithful saints will not reign with him—The Lord illustrated to his disciples the reward of being “labourers together with God…” (1Corinthians 3:9) in this life when he used the parable (Matthew 24:44-51) in which his lord makes his faithful servant “ruler over all his goods” (Matthew 24:44). But the servant who is found doing evil at his lord’s coming shall be cut asunder and appointed “his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51).

CEMETERY AND LANDFILL

The Lord’s burial ground—The Lord uses the similitudes of waters (Revelation 17:15; Isaiah 48:1; 26:19) and seas (Matthew 13:47) to typify [represent] people. For example, when God showed him the events of the future “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7), the apostle John saw “the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth” (Revelation 12:15-16.) According to the scriptures, the “woman” typifies the nation of Israel (Revelation 12:1-6) from which came God’s “holy child Jesus” (Acts 4:27-30); and the flood out of the dragon’s mouth typifies Satan’s blinded and rebellious followers.

When God judged the rebels against Moses, “The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram” (Ps 106:17; Numbers 16:12-33; Deuteronomy 11:6-7). I imagine the Lord will open the earth to swallow the carcasses of those who will die in the battle at Armageddon.

The Lord’s landfillI imagine the LORD will also cause the earth to open up and swallow all the debris from the great earthquake and use it for landfill. These ruins will include all of the destructive inventions of men “which destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18). John reported that at the time of Christ’s second coming, there will be “a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell…” (Revelation 16:12-21). Many other scriptures agree. Isaiah prophesied that the LORD will arise “to shake terribly the earth” (Isaiah 2:21; 13:13; Ezekiel 38:19-20; Haggai 2:6-7, 21-22; Hebrews 12:25-29).

The detonation of a large thermonuclear device over the U.S. ‘could melt down our electric grid, fry critical communications, and even take out the ability of our aircraft carrier groups to respond’ (Forbes.com). China has had the ability to conduct an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack on the United States since 2020. But an EMP attack is nothing in comparison to the utter destruction of man’s inventions and devices that will occur at the Lord’s second coming!

Debris on earth—According to the scriptures, the great earthquake will destroy all the structures built by man on earth! Even though the modern inventions of men have certainly brought ease and convenience to life on earth, they have also brought pollution, poison, and destruction to the earth and to all its inhabitants (Revelation 11:18). All the facilities that manufacture life-destructive chemicals and poisonous drugs; the radio and TV stations broadcasting lies, propaganda, and wickedness; the printing presses publishing confusion; and the cell towers emitting harmful electromagnetic radiation will all become useless rubble.

Junk from space—The LORD will also destroy all the manufactured devices by which men have intruded into God’s heaven [outer space]. ‘More than 27,000 pieces of orbital debris, or space junk, are tracked by the DOD global Space Surveillance Network’ (NASA.gov). The scripture declares: “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men” (Psalm 115:16).

When men travel beyond earth’s atmosphere and enter into the second heaven [the space where the sun, moon, and stars are located], into an environment where life cannot exist without man’s inventions, they have left the natural habitation that God prepared for them. ‘The first rocket which actually launched something into space was used to launch Sputnik, the first satellite, on October 4, 1957’ (coolcosmos.ipac.caltech.edu). On April 12, 1961, ‘Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin…became the first human in space, making a 108-minute orbital flight in his Vostok 1 spacecraft’ (Nasa.gov/mission). ‘…According to the Index of Objects Launched into Outer Space, maintained by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, there were 7,389 individual satellites in space at the end of April 2021′ (geospatialworld.net).

Man’s rebellious intrusion into space was prefigured by the people’s vain and foolish rebellion after Noah’s flood, when they said, “Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven…” (Genesis 11:1-9)!

RESTORED AND REGENERATED EARTH

Restitution and regeneration—The millennium is referred to as “the times of restitution [The act of recovering a former state] of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:20-21; Joel 2:21-27; Isaiah 49:6; Acts 1:6). Jesus called the millennium “the regeneration…” (Matthew 19:27-28). Men know how to “destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18), but they do not have the knowledge or ability to regenerate it! As the Lord “by himself purged our sins” (Hebrews 1:3), he will also by himself purge the earth and regenerate the earth’s geography, topography, and weather (1Chronicles 19:13; Psalm 115:3; 135:5-6; Romans 11:32-36).

Restored: not new—The LORD declared: “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” (Isaiah 65:17; 2Peter 3:13). The restored and regenerated earth—upon which the Lord will reign for a thousand years, is not the “new earth” (2Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1), which God will create after “the [present] earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2Peter 3:10).

MILLENNIAL ENVIRONMENT

The seasons—Notwithstanding the myth of ‘global warming,’ we know that the seasons will continue to the very end of the present heavens and earth because after the worldwide flood, the LORD declared to Noah: “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” (Genesis 8:22).

Rain and snow—At the present time, “the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater” (Isaiah 55:10). Rain shall continue to be a great “blessing from God” (Hebrews 6:7) to those who come up to worship the King in Jerusalem, but “it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain” (Zechariah 14:1-17). I imagine winter will continue to be a “time of snow” (2Samuel 23:20; Job 38:22; Psalm 147:16).

Before the flood, “the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth…But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground” (Genesis 2:5-6). Since there will be rain on earth during the millennium, we understand that the Lord will not restore the weather to what it was in the days before the flood.

TOPOGRAPHY OF THE EARTH

The scriptures have little to say about the lay of the land; however, two outstanding places are recorded: the blessed holy mountain of God and a fearful place that witnesses to all who pass by of the terrible consequences that come those who transgress against the LORD.

The LORD’S holy mountain—The word of God prophesies: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it” (Isaiah 2:2).

The source of the word of the LORD—”And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 2:3).

A known place of peace—”They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

A place of feasting—”And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined” (Isaiah 25:6).

A house of prayer—”Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people” (Isaiah 56:7).

A token of the eternal lake of fire—”And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh” (Isaiah 66:23-24; 34:9-10; Mark 9:44; Revelation 21:8).

MILLENNIAL CREATURES

Mankind—In Jerusalem will be rejoicing and joy, and the life spans of all men will be increased (Isaiah 65:17-20).

The LORD will build and plant—”…the wastes shall be builded. And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it” (Ezekiel 36:33-36).

For over fifty-nine hundred years, men built their structures—including Noah’s ark (Genesis 6:14-15), without power tools. American inventor Frank Julian Sprague is credited with inventing the first ‘practical’ motor in 1886. However, it was not until the 1920s that electricity began to be used by the nations. Because all manmade sources of electricity will be destroyed by the great earthquake, men will also build houses during the millennium with hand tools. Men will also plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them (Isaiah 65:21-24).

Other living creatures—During the millennium, “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 65:17-25).

And again, the Lord declared: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea…” (Isaiah 11:4-16; 65:25).

DIFFERENT DIETS

Original diet—God gave Adam and Eve and all living creatures fruits and vegetables to eat (Genesis 1:29-30). This diet continued until the flood (Genesis 6:21).

Noah’s diet—After the flood, God told Noah: “Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things” (Genesis 9:3). Abraham conformed to this diet before the law was given to Moses when he set before “three men [the Lord and two angels]…the calf which he had dressedand they did eat” (Genesis 18:1-8).

Moses’ diet—When God gave the law unto Moses, he designated certain unclean animals which could not be eaten. Only clean animals could be eaten (Leviticus 11).

Diet for the church—When Peter went up on the housetop to pray, he fell into a trance and saw a great sheet knit at the four corners, “Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common” (Acts 10:10-15). Peter soon came to understand that the vision typified men (Acts 10:28). Nevertheless, the vision also witnesses with other scriptures that in the present’ church age,’ God has made it lawful for men to eat all things (1Corinthians 6:12-13; 10:23-26).

MILLENNIAL DIET

Israel’s perpetual passover—According to “the law of Moses” (Malachi 4:4), the passover sacrifice (a lamb without blemish) was eaten by the members of each household (Exodus 12:3-8; 34:23-28). When the LORD established his “passover” (Exodus 12:11), he commanded Israel, “And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever” (Exodus 12:11-14). In obedience to the LORD’S commandment, the children of Israel will continue to eat the passover lamb in the millennium.

BEHOLD Christ our passover Lamb—”Christ our passover” (1Corinthians 5:7) is “the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). “The glorious gospel of Christ” (2Corinthians 4:4), “how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1Corinthians 15:3-4) “is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek [all Gentiles]” (Romans 1:16)

The Lord Jesus Christ, “after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God” (Hebrews 10:12; Romans 6:9-10; Revelation 1:18). God promises every sinner: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).

The prophet Jeremiah said, “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts” (Jeremiah 15:16). In the same manner (by faith), all the members of Christ’s “body, the church” (Colossians 1:18) are spiritual partakers of the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ. We have eaten his words which “are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63). We have received him by believing “on his name” (John 1:12-13) in our hearts, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1Peter 1:23).

Animal meat and wine—It is possible that the laws regarding sacrifices will continue during the millennium, for offerings of burnt, sin, and trespass offerings are prophesied to be offered in the millennial temple (Ezekiel 40:39-43; 43:7; 45:13-25; 46:11-15), “where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things” (Ezekiel 42:13). It is also prophesied: “And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow [the soft substance contained within animal bones], of wines on the lees [sediment] well refined…” (Isaiah 25:6-8).

Perhaps the people will partake also of the other sacrifices, as the ram of consecration was eaten by Aaron and his sons (Exodus 29:31-34; Leviticus 6:14-18; 10:12-15), the Levites ate “the offerings of the LORD made by fire” (Deuteronomy 18:1-3), and the people could eat their freewill, heave, and burnt offerings under the law of Moses (Deuteronomy 12:17-18, 27).

Meat and medicine from trees—During the millennium, “by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine” (Ezekiel 47:12).

GOD’S RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT

The appointed day—The apostle Paul declared to the men of Athens that God “now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day [This “day” speaks of the thousand-year reign of Christ (Revelation 20:5-6), for “…one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2Peter 3:8)], in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man [“the man Christ Jesus” (1Timothy 2:5)] whom he hath ordained [Jesus “was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead” (Acts 10:38-43)]; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31).

The following passage is one of the most descriptive among many prophecies pertaining to the Lord’s judgment during his millennial kingdom: “The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD” (Isaiah 2:1-5). See also Psalm 22:27-31; 46:6-11; 67:1-7; 86:9; 96:1-13; 97:1-12; 102:15-16, 21-22.

THE END OF THE MILLENIUM

Everlasting destruction of Satan and his followers—The Lord Jesus “took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Philippians 2:7-8), “that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14).

The Lord Jesus will destroy the devil at the end of the millennium: “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Revelation 20:7-10).

The new heavens and earth—At the end of “the [millennial] day of the Lord…the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2Peter 3:10-13; Isaiah 51:6). The Lord’s thousand-year reign on this present earth is the beginning of his eternal reign.

After the present heavens and earth are destroyed, the Lord will create (Isaiah 65:17) “the new heavens and the new earth” (Isaiah 66:22). God declared: “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind” (Isaiah 65:17): “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain” (Isaiah 66:22). The Lord said, “Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful” (Revelation 21:5). “God, that cannot lie” (Titus 1:2) will fulfill all his promises!

Christ’s everlasting kingdom—The “King of saints” (Revelation 15:3) is “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16). The “government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:6-7). David declared: “Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations” (Psalm 145:13; see also Daniel 4:3, 34; 7:14, 27; 2Peter 1:11).

MILLENNIUM IMAGINATIONS

Mysterious preparations of God—The prophet Isaiah declared: “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4). The apostle Paul referenced Isaiah when he wrote: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” (1Corinthians 2:9). In the light of this great truth, speculations and imaginations must be very brief.

Consider the following speculations—There will be no motor or battery-driven automobiles, trucks, trains, or airplanes. Neither will manufacturing plants for these things exist. Therefore, as men did in the past, they will construct wagons, plows, and houses by hand.

Living horsepower—At Christ’s second coming, all the armies of the saints will follow “him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean” (Revelation 19:14; Zechariah 14:5). Perhaps these white horses will continue to provide transportation for the saints during the millennium. And perhaps, as the LORD opened the mouth of Balaam’s ass to converse with Balaam (Numbers 22:28-30), he will also open the mouths of the horses to communicate with the saints! Perhaps the saints themselves (like Philip) will also be able to be transported by the Spirit of the Lord from one place to another (Acts 8:39-40) and (like the Lord Jesus) will be able to pass through solid objects (John 20:26) and appear and disappear (Mark 9:4-8; Luke 24:31).

Spiritual communication—Perhaps the saints will somehow communicate spiritually. Jesus “knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man” (John 2:24-25.) Paul said, “then shall I know even as also I am known” (1Corinthians 13:12; John 2:24-25). Nevertheless, we can be absolutely sure that the preparations of God for his children will be “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20)!

WHERE WILL YOU BE IN ETERNITY?

Enter through the DOOR today—Hell continues to enlarge herself to make room for all who reject Jesus Christ (Isaiah 5:14)! Nevertheless, “according to his abundant mercy” (1Peter 1:3; Titus 3:5), the Lord Jesus proclaimed: “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).
