Utopian Wokeness Theology Arising from the Headlines
“So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (Revelation 17:3-5).
Being a watcher, when I began our ongoing local Bible Study eight years ago, I felt compelled to provide prophecy updates on how the headlines were pointing towards the approaching return of Jesus Christ. Why? For history is prophecy unfolded, and prophecy is history yet to unfold. In other words, by observing the headlines, we see glimpses of what our sovereign God is allowing to occur to set the stage for the return of Jesus Christ as the Lion of Judah to make his enemies his footstool and establish his Millennial Kingdom.
Watching the Headlines in the Closing Days of the Church Age
At first, I gave an annual review, then over time, it became semi-annual, then monthly, and for the last three years, I provide an update nearly every time we met. Why? As with the birth pains Christ predicted, the frequency and magnitude of prophetically impactful events which generate the headlines are increasing as we near the end of the Church Age.
A great portion of the prophecy-relevant headlines displays Satan’s hurried and relentless efforts to defy God by establishing the dark political and religious structures needed for the rise of his Son of Perdition, the Antichrist. Satan’s end-game religious structure in the post-rapture, seven-year tribulation period will consist of two sequential but very different religions.
Two Dramatically Different One-World Religions
First will form a One-World Religion (OWR), which will appeal to post-rapture Mankind’s sinful nature, what I call Utopian Wokeness OWR (a new readily understood term in today’s world). Satan’s second and final religion will arise abruptly and dramatically on the heels of the first OWR religion and then reign supreme in the latter half of the Antichrist’s bloody reign.
Satan’s Initial One World Religion – Utopian Wokeness
This Utopian Wokeness OWR will be a culminating achievement for Satan, for it will contain all the false religions he has created in order to drive a wedge between Mankind and God. Satan’s first rebellious religious abomination that started on the Planes of Shinar at the Tower of Babel has carried on in its various incarnations and has served his corrupting purposes well for thousands of years. In these closing days of the Church Age, we are witnessing the final cancerous, filthy and godless iterations of his counterfeit religion in the MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS of Revelation 17:5.
What are her abominations? Based solely on the headlines* presented in the Rapture Ready News over the last few years, Satan’s Utopian Wokeness OWR will demand:
- acknowledgment that there are many paths to God(s) – progressive Jews/Muslims/Christians, and faiths that already accept many gods (Hindus, Buddhists, Bhais, etc.).
- abortion rights to include full-term, live-birth abortions (child sacrifices to Bal).
- LGBTQ+ rights, including chemical gender realignment for children.
- exclusion of non-conforming Fundamentalist Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
- global warming action (a tax collected and used by Satan’s One-World Government).
And this list of seducing lies is not exclusive. As we continue our watch of the headlines prior to the rapture, we shall see additional rebellious and shocking, progressive social norms arise for inclusion into Satan’s Utopian Wokeness theological construct.
By the time the Lamb of God opens the first seal on the Seven-sealed Scroll in Revelation chapter six, the Utopian Wokeness OWR will either be in place or be taking its place as the Beast rises and consolidates his power. However, three and one-half years later, its adherents will find their Utopian Wokeness religion is nothing more than Satan’s big set-up for the worship he really desires — make that demands.
Satan’s Final One-World Religion – Worship of the Satanic god-King
Based solely on Scripture, in the second half of the Antichrist’s reign, Satan will execute the biggest bait and switch scheme in the history of Mankind. He will replace Mankind’s Utopian Wokeness OWR with his ultimate form of religion, which demands:
- worshipping the Antichrist/Beast/Satan and taking his mark, or death.
- extermination of all remaining Jews and Tribulation Saints/Christians.
- unfettered, hedonistic, flesh-appealing lifestyles (sex, abortions, LGBTQ, drugs, etc.).
Daniel 9:27 tells us that in the middle of the seven-year tribulation period, the Antichrist, Beast, son of perdition… will put an end to worship services being conducted in the Third Temple in Jerusalem, declare himself God, and demand worship. Paul provides the following details as the Antichrist fully reveals to the world who he really is in this vile and evil declaration of arrogance and blasphemy against God in Heaven.
“…the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (2nd Thessalonians 2:3b-4).
The Beast will boastfully proclaim to all Mankind that he alone is God, and consequently tell the shocked Utopian Oneness OWR worshippers that the many paths to god(s) they were following were, in reality, one very broad path which led to him… Satan’s incarnation. Amazingly, many will cherish their physical flesh over a personal relationship offered by the Messiah Jesus Christ** and choose to worship Satan.
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:4-7).
“…and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17).
Mankind’s Utopian Wokeness OWR naked, eaten and burned.
In the opening verses of this article, Revelation 17:3-5, the woman (whore/harlot which represents all the world’s/Satan’s false religions through time) rode upon the scarlet-colored beast which had seven kingdoms (representing the Gentile world in the great Biblical empires represented from Genesis chapter 12 onwards… Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greek, Roman and revived Roman) and ten horns. John provides the identity of those ten horns. “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast” (Revelation 17:12).
Once the Beast, the world’s evil political/military leader, declares himself God mid-tribulation, the Beast’s ten kings begin the complete purge of all the various religions of Mankind’s Utopian Wokeness OWR. “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire” (Revelation 17:16).
All churches, mosques, temples, and synagogues will either be converted to Beast worship or destroyed. All holy texts, relics and idols will be burned. All their holy men, priests and adherents will either worship the Beast and take his mark or be slaughtered (and if this verse is literal, and it just may be in a starving world), consumed as food.
Take Heart, Fear Not and Pray for the Saints
I know this is hard to see Satan’s agenda come into focus, but take heart my brothers and sisters in Christ; God loves you, and if you are a born-again Believer, he has “set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come” (2 Cor. 1:22). Rest assured, knowing he alone can provide the “peace that surpasses all understanding, and that “no one can pluck you from our Lord God’s hand” (Philippians 4:7, John 10:28).
Also, do not live in fear. Satan often attacks us through fear in the hopes of paralyzing us to the point that we fail to bear fruit for Christ’s Kingdom. Don’t let him. God has work for us to do. Remember always the Holy Spirit “that is in you is greater than he that is in the world,” and that “…God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (1 John 4:4, 2 Tim. 1:7).
Pray for the peace of God to envelop and comfort those who are undergoing severe persecution. May they fully know the eternal power, peace and love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
