From Bad to Worse to Glory :: By Dennis Huebshman

Please note, this message was written prior to the vote to Impeach our President. The content remains the same; America is sinking fast.

Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (NET – all emphasis is mine.)

2 Timothy 3:1-5; 12-13, “But understand this, that in the last days, there will come times of difficulty [putting it mildly]. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power [false prophets & antichrists]. Avoid such people… Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted; while evil people and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

If you check out all the negative traits listed above, this could have been written today about our present world’s condition.

We do have the perfect guide as given in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is breathed out by God, and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness; that the man/woman of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

The message about scripture being from the Father is also found in 2 Peter 1:20-21.

To sum this up, 2 Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears [that false prophets love to tickle], they will accumulate for themselves “teachers” to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth, and wander off into myths.”

This is why we have the “stage production” services, meant to entertain the members without going into the true word and giving them the true message from the Father. After all, to present the truth causes seats and collection plates to be empty.

Though every one of the above passages has been covered in the past, they all are more out in the open, and growing stronger each day. Yes, everything here has existed, to a degree, ever since humans fell into sin in Genesis 3 in the Garden of Eden. Some have been more prevalent than others, but in today’s worldwide society, you can include them all as being an attack on anything that pertains to our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Satan and his demons are desperately trying to set the stage for the entrance of the ultimate evil antichrist and false prophet.

In some Middle East and other countries on that side of the globe today, a person is subject to martyrdom just for professing a faith in Jesus. It’s not a new concept, as Jesus Himself knew it would be bad for His followers, starting with His days on this earth. He spoke of this in John 16:1-2; 33, “I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away. They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you, will think he/she is offering a service to God… I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but take heart, I have overcome the world.”

To think this will never happen in America is naive.

Just recently, there has been a movie advertised on NETFLIX (which should be relabeled NO-FLIX) which depicts our Savior and the disciples as being “gay” and into drugs. This is totally disgusting, but not the first time this has happened. In 1997, a gay author wrote a play called “Corpus Christi” which also depicted Jesus and the disciples as being gay. At that time, there was a real outcry from the Evangelical community; however, the play was not shut down. It will be interesting to see if there is any negativity proclaimed against the current production, as there are evangelical churches turning away from the true word and embracing the LGBT (and all the other letters) lifestyle as somehow not being sinful any longer. Reread 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Then remember, God does not change.

We are witnessing the unconstitutional attempt at removing our duly elected President from office. The reasoning of the radical left is ridiculous. There are no “constitutional” grounds that apply to our President. If there were, all this would make sense. However, from the moment it was announced that Donald Trump had won the election, the evil forces in Congress have tried to get him removed. They are disregarding the fact that he was elected by a majority of voters that truly wanted a change. The election itself was challenged, but survived all scrutiny because all was done properly.

There have been constant fabrications that he somehow did something illegal; however, all the allegations do not pass the “Pinocchio” test. Facts are twisted by the radicals in Congress, and amplified by our faux news media. Meanwhile, the American people are not being served by our “employees,” and tons of money that could have been applied to social programs is being wasted.

All members of the House, Senate and Executive Branches are in office as our “representatives.” However, personal agendas are totally obvious, and it just keeps on going on. Would you agree with me that evil forces are involved? I do not recall any other time where a president who has improved our economy, reduced unemployment, and overall has made America “respectable” in the eyes of the world again has been persecuted as this one has.

Sad part about all of this, it will not get any better. Satan is pulling out all the stops. Alternate lifestyles, advocating the killing of newborn babies, open satanic worship, and just about every other form of evil is rising at unprecedented rates. Jesus spoke of this. Paul, Peter, John and others also warned us that these times would be here just before the end of this age. To present ourselves as being followers of Jesus is to leave us open to verbal, and sometimes physical abuse. Some very liberal areas are enacting laws that would have been seriously challenged previously. One is taking parents’ rights away as to the curriculum that their kids are being exposed to, and it’s being started in the lower grades.

Isaiah 5:20 is here, even though it was written about 2,500 years ago. Also, Jesus warned about what would happen to anyone causing harm to “little ones” in Matthew 18:6.

Christian businesses are being challenged as somehow violating others’ rights There are plenty of alternate places that would provide whatever they want, but Christian businesses are purposely being sought out. We are being called “haters,” yet it’s the secular world that hates us.

To witness everything that is going on could be totally depressing; and without any form of relief, it would be absolutely intolerable. Our foundation for hope is we are promised we will be kept from the Wrath/Tribulation that soon will be here. Paul gives us two examples of this in 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11. We are told that we will be kept from the Wrath, and God cannot lie (Titus 1:2).

For anyone who believes we are already in the tribulation, it will be much worse than what is going on today. Yes, there is evil and hatred that is increasing, but during the actual Wrath, it will go beyond anything this earth has ever experienced so far.

We are on the edge of 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 taking place. Many prophecy “experts,” who are more knowledgeable than I, are stating they find it hard to believe we are still here. The best explanation I can offer is found in 2 Peter 3:9 where we’re told God is being patient so all will have a chance to repent and accept His Son Jesus.

There’s a big “however” right here. His patience will only last for so long, and then He will start the discipline of this world. For all who are putting off accepting Jesus, or worse yet, that totally deny He is our Savior, they are gambling with their eternal soul for a few short years on this earth. Eventually, He will say “enough,” and all believers will be removed, and the tribulation will begin. Looking at how rapidly the world is sinking into evil, we can only ask, How Much Longer Lord?

If anyone would like to gamble on something, buy a lottery ticket. Gambling with your eternal destination is not a good move. We are not guaranteed another day here, and to take your last breath without Jesus will be eternal separation in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:11-15). God will turn no one away who sincerely calls out to be saved (Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:9-13). Everyone all over the world that has accepted Jesus will be caught up to meet Him in the air, in the “twinkling of an eye.”

Now for a sobering statistic: it will only be about 8%-10% of the present world population that will be removed. God’s chosen, the Jews, statistic is even worse with only about 1%-2% believing Jesus is their Messiah.

Join the “straight and narrow” people, and avoid the broad path that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13-14). No special ritual needed; no special speech; no earthly price that can be paid. It’s free for those who truly ask His forgiveness. Our Savior paid our cost in full at Calvary. Today would not be too early to secure your Salvation with the Savior.

You will have gone from the absolute worst situation you will ever face, to absolute glory with Jesus.

Maranatha!
