One way you can know that something is genuine is when you see a counterfeit imitation of it. Inadvertently, Satan does exactly this by always counterfeiting JESUS and HIS WORD, thereby proving that GOD is real. Consequently, why would you need a counterfeit of something unless there were already a genuine? Our YouTube Pastor, JD Farag, has given this example in his sermons over the years, which has stuck with me. (Quoting Not Verbatim) “You will never see a counterfeit $3.00 bill because there are no genuine $3.00 bills. You will see a counterfeit $2.00 bill because there are genuine $2.00 bills. Bottom line, they will not make a counterfeit of it unless there is something to imitate.”
Definition of Counterfeit: Made in exact imitation of something valuable with the intention to deceive or defraud.

Hence the propensity to attack the deity of CHRIST. Satan knows that JESUS is GOD; even the demons believe and tremble, but that Old Serpent does not want us to know or believe that JESUS is GOD. From the beginning of time, that Dragon has been imitating CHRIST, diverting our attention away from GOD’S WORD, attacking JESUS’ deity, and counterfeiting a false gospel from the TRUE GOSPEL. Basically, the Enemy has been deceiving, duping, and selling a counterfeit lie of the TRUTH to mankind and the nations from day one. We can only Pray to have eyes to see and ears to hear and to have Discernment enough not to fall for false cults and religions.
Such is the case with the Jehovah Witnesses that came to my door recently. I proceeded to talk with them that day for several minutes. What was off-putting to me was the fact that they expected me to take their doctrinal brochure on their ‘Cult Religion,’ which I did; but when I offered to reciprocate and give them a Gospel Tract, they did not want to accept it. That showed me that their motive is only to propagate their ‘Cult Religion,’ and there is no room for reciprocity. I asked them if they believed in JESUS, and they said they did; so I told them the tract is the Gospel Message about JESUS, and then they reluctantly took it. Later on, I did some research on the Jehovah Witness Cult and found out that they do not believe JESUS is GOD. They teach that JESUS and Satan are brothers and that JESUS is a created being and is actually Michael the Archangel.

Another doctrine that I have stumbled upon on YouTube in recent months that denies the name of JESUS is the Hebrew Roots Movement. They teach that the church is corrupted with a pagan imitation of the New Testament gospels. The Hebrew Roots Movement also tries to put their adherents back under the Mosaic Law. They also teach that true Christians walk in a Torah-observant life. The mentioned YouTube Channel that I came across had hundreds of comments from people now confused on everything they have come to believe about the Gospel. Umm… guess what?! GOD is not the author of confusion!! This Hebrew Roots Movement Channel was also adamantly against using the name of JESUS, which immediately turned on my Discernment.

Another not so subtle attack on the deity of CHRIST is in the NIV Bible! Did you know that the NIV and several other versions remove over 250 verses concerning the deity of CHRIST?! My husband gave me a beautiful NIV Bible with my name engraved on it for Christmas one year; but once we found out the truth about that version, we got rid of it and in exchange bought several KJV Study Bibles for our family, and we have not looked back since!

Recently, I took an IQ Test and found out that I have above average intelligence. I am not the smartest person in the world, but I am thankful for the measure of intelligence GOD has given to me. I am also thankful and blessed for the measure of FAITH HE has given to me as well. My prayer each day is for GOD to give us HIS Wisdom, Discernment, Strength, and Courage. For, without JESUS, we can do nothing! I am also thankful for the HOLY SPIRIT in leading us into ALL TRUTH. The HOLY SPIRIT has shown me that whoever denies that JESUS is the CHRIST is an antichrist!
1 John 2:22-23 KJV “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”
1 John 4:3 KJV “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

Just know in these Last Days that the attack on the deity of CHRIST will only get worse. The Devil knows his time is short. The only defense we have against falsehood, lies, and deception is in the TRUTH of GOD’S HOLY WORD! Pray to have eyes to see and ears to hear and for the HOLY SPIRIT to lead you into ALL TRUTH! Remember that JESUS said HE is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE; no one can come to the FATHER but by HIM!
