Immigrant – Legal vs. Illegal :: By Dennis Huebshman

First, Immigrant: a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. Synonyms: Newcomer; Settler; Migrant; New Arrival. (emphasis mine)

Second, Illegal: contrary to, or forbidden by law; especially criminal law. Synonyms: Unlawful; Illicit; Illegitimate; Against the Law; Criminal; Law Breaking.

Finally, Legal: permitted by law, lawful’ appointed; established or authorized by law.

It would seem these terms are fairly self-explanatory, but believe it or not, we have people in our Congress that haven’t figured them out. A quote by the House Speaker stated, “We have to protect the constitutional rights of “Illegal Aliens.” At this point, it amazes me that people actually vote to keep her in office. And she’s not the only one. It seems the extreme left liberals are doing their best to flood our country with illegal immigrants, and to give them homes, free health care, food, education for their kids, and money from our taxpayers’ pockets without having to put in one day’s work. All they want is a vote, illegal or not. It should be noted; illegals are not protected under our Constitution!

Yet, at the same time, we have homeless American citizens sleeping on the streets with their kids, and our veterans are dying on the streets daily, and not receiving the benefits that were promised them for their service to our country. To say this is a national disgrace would be the understatement of the century.

I used the phrase once before from a Barry McGuire song, “And You Don’t Believe We’re on The Eve of Destruction!”

I am a pastor, but also a Federal Court Security Officer. We are here to protect our Federal Judges and their staff. One of the benefits is to witness “naturalization” sessions where Legal Immigrants have fulfilled their application process and are sworn in as a full American Citizen. These sessions are a pleasure to witness.

Anyone who tries to circumvent this process, and those aiding them in that activity, are breaking the law – plain and simple. This includes so-called elected officials who have agendas that go outside what this country stands for. Just because liberals want to flood the ballot boxes with people whose votes are bought and paid for with all our resources to ensure victory at any price, does not make it any less illegal.

This country has a past history of welcoming immigrants who wish to come and have an opportunity at a better life. My Father, Grandmother and Grandfather came to the United States from Germany, and went through the whole process of becoming naturalized citizens. My Dad and Grandmom arrived in 1929, and my Grandfather a year later. He had been a German soldier in WWI, and worked in the plant that built the German Forkers – the type of plane made famous by the Red Barron.

In America, they settled in Lansing, Michigan, and my Grandfather worked the assembly line at General Motors, Oldsmobile division, for 30 years. My Dad was drafted into the Army in WWII, and actually received his citizenship in San Antonio, Texas, while he was in boot camp. None of my family ever expected the “Government” to give anything they did not earn, and that includes me.

Our president wants to welcome anyone who wishes to come here and legally acquire citizenship. However, he is adamant that illegals need to be removed. Especially the ones that are violent gang members that have no respect for us or our laws, and terrorists that have vowed to cause us much harm. They don’t contribute; they destroy. Sad part, the liberals hate our president so much that they want all the illegals they can get in, and actually have formed “sanctuary cities” where they are protected from proper authorities.

We are seeing a decline in our society that goes back to the days of Noah, just before the flood. The depravations of Sodom and Gomorrah are becoming common activity that is being overlooked by our present society. Jesus told of what would be taking place near the end of the age, and we’re seeing it all (Matthew 24). Severe weather patterns, volcano activity and earthquakes are at an all-time high pace. All the attitudes spoken of by Paul in 2 Timothy 3 are increasing in intensity. Antichrists and false prophets are abounding just as John said in 1 John 2.

Anything Christian is hated just as our Jesus said would happen in John 15:18. There is open worship of Satan, and even Churches of Satan are being established in various places around the country. Alternate lifestyles are being given a positive nod in so-called Evangelical Churches that are totally going against the Father. God called these actions an abomination, and has not changed His mind about them. There are actions worldwide to form a one-world government, with a one-world currency, and eventually a one-world leader. This has been in the works for decades, but is more in the open than ever before. Satan is programming this world to be ready to accept his antichrist when he makes his appearance, after all the believers are gone.

The one thing all believers in Jesus share is that there will be no illegal immigration when He calls us to rise up to meet Him in the air. All who have sincerely called on His name, and have accepted His gift of Salvation, will be “Naturalized Citizens” of Heaven (Acts 2:21; Romans 10:9-13; John 14:6). Jesus, Himself, is preparing a Home for each and every one of us at this very moment (John 14:1-3). He’s ready to prepare one for you if you haven’t called on Him yet.

The moment is rapidly approaching as described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-58. Only those who have followed the Word of the Lord will be called. Jesus knew it would not be a majority, as stated in Matthew 7:13-14. There will be many who have not received and accepted His gift that He paid for, in full, at Calvary. This is the only way we can be with Him and avoid the worst 7-year period of time this earth has ever experienced.

It is not difficult to have Jesus in our lives, but the secular world will reject us. If we admit we are sinners, and ask His forgiveness and to be our eternal Savior, we move out of the Condemnation Phase (Romans 8:1), and into His Flock (John 10:9-16).

We do not know the day or hour when Jesus will call us Home. It could be at any moment, and only those prepared will rise up to meet Him in the Air, in the twinkling of an eye. He will turn no one down, yet He will force no one to accept Him either. It’s all your decision and choice to make. There is no special speech or ritual to go through; just ask for Him to be your Savior.

Everything is in place to send this world into the last 7-year period of this age. It will be called the Tribulation or Wrath of God. I do not want my Creator to say, “Depart from Me, I never knew you.” Do you?

Amen, Come Lord Jesus!
