HIGHWAY TO HELL
As we, ‘the sheep of His pasture’ have been taught and have well observed in our lifetimes, there are so many billions asleep. Amongst them are millions who once considered themselves Christian, but now, have fallen away.
STRANGE GODS!
I guess then, we might also wonder about God’s plan for those who worship a plethora of strange gods? To most of us in the West, some appear very strange indeed and dare I say, alien.
Whether we now believe in the Salvation Grace of Jesus or not, we need to acknowledge that most of us were brought up on the concept and teachings regarding the existence of a monotheistic God. A God who is though one God, but is within His own Godhead, comprised of:
• Himself as Father/Creator
• Himself as Son
• Himself as Holy Spirit
• A Trinity of Holy perfection.
We were taught that God mandated a set of living rules for those He created. And following the fall of man into sin (as Adam and Eve succumbed to the temptation of Satan who appeared to Eve in the guise of a serpent), God was still committed, by the exercise of His will, to seek out those who would, by act of personal will, continue to come and adhere to Him.
These are the rules which the intelligentsia call, ‘The Judeo-Christian Ethic.’ They have been enshrined as the basis of law in the English-Speaking countries and much of the rest of the world. That is, until recently in our history.
Today, speaking of the present, whole societies of ‘the enlightened’ have decided that not only are those laws no longer necessary to validate our way of life – they are in fact, positively dangerous.
Their verdict: the Judeo-Christian Ethic and God Himself, is harmful to society and the spirit of community.
I have no brief to condemn what tens of millions individually hold as their particular religious belief system. God has prophetically dealt with that issue some thousands of years ago. The Pentateuch, covering the first five books of the Old Testament, explains literally, in graphic detail and high drama, how God judged worship that contravened His Law.
There is nothing to indicate that God has changed either His mind or the divine nature of His character.
However, even as I type, God continues to draw to Himself, through Jesus, a select portion from out of all of these manmade systems of worship.
I sincerely believe that by this, God is indicating clearly that no manmade cult or religion can withhold from Him those upon whom The LORD chooses to place His hand.
JEOPARDY:
That part of mankind that chooses (by the personal exercise of free will) not to come to Jesus, lies in awful jeopardy. Either individually or en masse, they are to face prophetically recorded judgment for their denial of Him.
Call we ourselves Jew or Christian; Buddhist; Hindu; Taoist; Muslim; Atheist or Agnostic, if we have not come to God through Jesus whilst the opportunity existed, we are to be judged.
• There are no exceptions.
• All are treated equally.
• Our names will not be recorded in the Book of Life.
Judgment will include many who previously were brought up to hate the very concept of His being. Most of these appear to have never changed in their commitment to destroy the worship of God through the destruction of anything associated with His worship of His Christ. Specifically, such acts of destruction include the murder of Christian congregations and individuals upon the charge of them being ‘apostates.’
There is no excuse upon the basis of not knowing. The gospel of Jesus Christ has been, as a result of the Great Commission, taken to just about all of mankind. Jesus told His disciples that, before this fallen world passed, the gospel had to be taken to all mankind; then the end would come.
Witnessing to All Nations (Matthew 24:14)
“But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Because of what Jesus says in Matthew 24:14 (and which is verified by the other gospels which record the same utterance of the Master), let there be no doubt in your mind or heart as to what this means.
Those who ‘say’ they have not received the Word or knowledge of Jesus and, thereby, never had a chance to come to Him, will face judgment of their works. Will their names thus be found in the Book of Life? On the basis of my still limited scriptural knowledge (I rate myself as still on ‘L’ Plates), I have grave doubt.
THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT:
The Book of Revelation speaks graphically of the final judgment of mankind by Jesus.

First, Jesus Christ will be the judge, all unbelievers will be judged by Christ, and they will be punished according to the works they have done. Believers will also be judged by Christ, but since Christ’s righteousness has been imputed to us and our names are written in the book of life, we will be rewarded, but not punished, according to our deeds. Nevertheless, the Bible, in teaching of the Return of Jesus, states that all mankind will see Him revealed and those that call upon his name, standing fast to the end, will be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
From God’s viewpoint outside our timeframe, the “end times” began with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2:16–21, Peter describes this event as “the last days.” From that perspective, it makes sense that Jesus combined events in AD 70 with those yet to come. They are all “the last days.” He then warns that, as persecution increases, many who considered themselves His followers will reveal their true spiritual condition when they turn away from the faith. This had already happened during His ministry (John 6:66) and would escalate until the end. True Christian faith would be tested by deception, false prophets, and the increase of wickedness.
Not only will there be some who turn away, but Jesus foretold that “the love of most will grow cold.” The implication is that those who “stand firm to the end” will be the minority (see Matthew 7:14).
We can dissect this passage even further to glean relevant truths. Those who endure to the end and are saved will stand firm through persecution. Matthew 24:9 warns that Jesus’ followers would be “handed over to be persecuted and put to death.” From the time of the apostles until present day, millions of Christians have been persecuted and put to death. We are seeing an escalation of that in more recent days with global terrorism, but martyrdom has always been common in most areas of the world. Verse 9 goes on to state that Christians will “be hated by all nations because of me.”
As Islam and atheism increase in nations that once held to Judeo-Christian values, we are seeing a greater fulfilment of this prophecy. Hatred can be expressed in many ways, one of which is the radical secularization of culture and governments that once honored time-tested morality and faith. When a culture actively strips from its history and public life any vestiges of God’s involvement in its success, that nation is displaying hatred toward Jesus.
Those who endure to the end and are saved will stand firm through ridicule and hatred. Matthew 24:10 says that when many turn away from the faith, they will “betray and hate each other.”
With the proliferation of internet websites, blogs, and Facebook pages, we are seeing the polarization of opinions leading to angry diatribes and un-Christlike dialogue. Everyone has an opinion about everything, and opinion, it seems, has become a god worth defending through anger. Even among professing “Christians,” the comments and editorializing have taken a decidedly downward turn. Issues not worth dividing over have become hot-button topics that alienate brothers and sisters and, sadly, the unbelieving world. Issues that are worth dividing over have been swept under the rug in the name of “tolerance.” Anyone who does not bow to the god of tolerance becomes an object of ridicule and self-righteous hatred. – source
Sorry all of you self-described ‘new millennials’ out there in the great sea of life; you cannot avoid even what, in your ignorance and spirit of denial, you think you have rejected.
Our task is to be a prayerful approach. We should pray for those even now, who are still coming to God through Jesus. However, we should remember that within these other belief systems is a hard rump which consists of those who teach and spiritualize these false religions and who are implacable foes of any who worship Jesus Christ.
Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam contain hundreds of millions who believe that the followers of Christ must be destroyed wherever found. And that specifically is meant to include those who leave their gods and seek Jesus, The Christ of the Living God.
Their own priests, imams/mullahs, and in some cases shaman/witch doctors instantly call them out as apostates and demand their immediate execution because they have ‘affronted their gods.’
Western societies have been exposed to the gospel of Jesus and the Bible for centuries. We even fought Islam as it attempted to overrun all of Europe until both the Polish, Romanian and German Teutonic knights threw them back in some of the bloodiest battles ever fought; and I am not speaking of the Crusades.
We tend to forget our own history in the West. Islam still held a good fistful of Europe right into the 20th century. In that period, Eastern Europe lay under the then waning influence of the remnant of the corrupt and dying Ottoman Empire. The heart of that now passed empire was located in Turkey, a formerly Christian bastion of faith under the Byzantine Emperors. That funny little upside down (product of Turkey) flower-pot hat known as the Fez is still worn in some parts of Eastern Europe.
Europe was, following the fall of the Ottoman, considered to have returned to the bailiwick of Christian rulers, and the faith of Christ Jesus was taken to many other countries. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Europe is, in the main, Godless. America, Canada, the U.K. and Australia, New Zealand and Africa are, for all practical purposes, competing to see who will be the first to totally dump Christ on a national basis.
My focus in this commentary, however, is to home-in upon and single out those who are now spiritually blind by their own deliberate choice.
All of us should be prayerfully concerned for the tens of millions who were exposed to the gospels and some form of Christian ministry but, whom have since walked away.
(Put me in there somewhere; I abandoned my walk with Jesus as a young lad and grown man before, after crashing badly, I returned home to Him. I could attempt to excuse myself by claiming that I just didn’t understand the Bible, but I won’t. Closer to the truth was my desire, like many, to fulfill my own desires).
Many of today’s ‘enlightened ones,’ have embraced the gods of science, the social environment and/or their work in creating a new World Order. In contemplation of their vain dream of Utopia where men and women have become godlike through science and high-tech, they make the claim that we will have no need of such crass stupidity. Mankind will have relegated the gospel and Jesus to the realms of myth and fantasy. To them, we exist as a foul anachronism of history: a corruptive legacy of an age they have vowed to destroy.
In the current, post-modern age of the self-described new millennial, these are they who are directly to be judged as guilty. They have deliberately shut Jesus out, and in doing, rejected the promise of Saving Grace offered directly by The Living God.
If there is no repentance found in you because, in point of fact, you utterly, totally reject it, then God states through His Word (Jesus who is the Word) ‘You are lost!’
You may well note that I didn’t immediately rush in and say, “May God help you!” For there is no help for those who have, by their own act of will, spiritually blinded themselves, particularly those who will never experience remorse. The very human concept and inner feeling of ‘remorse,’ springs from a person suddenly developing feelings of shame and guilt over the facilitation of their actions as they impact on the lives of others.
THE HIGH HORSE OF PRIDE AND ARROGANCE:
When self-pride and arrogance have allowed you to ride ‘roughshod’ over others and then you witness the effect of that which you have wrought, there are only two possible outcomes:
1. Either you are stricken with guilt and remorse and a determination where possible, to undo what you have done, or
2. You became empowered by your dominance over your victims, and feelings of superiority consume you. You feel no guilt or shame and certainly, no remorse.
In the case of outcome 2, you are in mortal sin and deep trouble before the burning eye of God. You are also a prime target for Satan. You have fulfilled all the requirements for eternal damnation. You have completed his tertiary level course, and you have graduated, Suma Cum Laude.
Congratulations; you are now entitled to wear the mortice and the red gown of your Degree in his very temporary kingdom.
Most certainly then, we have identified they who have not only rejected Jesus, but conversely, have more than likely, pledged their eternally carnal-scarred souls to Satan. And I say ‘eternal souls’ because of the specter of these words and what they are meant to intimate to us, i.e. ‘Eternal Damnation.’
We should all pause and think on that a spell. Yep!…it means what it says – exactly that. They are, by choice, consigned to be damned in Hell as souls that exist only in the damnation of Hell itself. This is scripturally described as a place of fire.
These condemned souls can now never expect to be reconciled with the living souls resurrected unto God through the Saving Grace of Jesus. Our LORD says that a great chasm has been placed between the two places. Both are real entities in time and space, even if they are not as we know and understand them to be at this time.
Luke 16:19-31 (Jesus is speaking to His Disciples)
“There was a rich man who wore expensive clothes. Every day was like a party to him. There was also a beggar named Lazarus who was regularly brought to the gate of the rich man’s house. THE CURRENT PREOCCUPATION WITH ALL THINGS SATANIC:
Satanic worship in America today, particularly in California and in Hollywood (its rotten core), is at an all-time high. And make no mistake, God has not only marked it; this is a pledge, a sin debt that prophetically, He has indicated to us that He intends to honor.
Many self-deluded unfortunates have already walked down what is fast becoming, a well-trodden path. It is rightly described as the wide Highway to Hell.

NOTICE RE-USE OF LYRICAL ASPERSIONS:
I understand that AC/DC didn’t write these lyrics with a literal Hell in mind. There is some strong indication the lyrics and song arose out of a very bad trip they took through outback Australia when they were ‘on the road.’ Certainly I make no aspersion as to their motivation, but simply remark that the lyrics are indicative of our present society. No offence was meant to the Group, and I make no attempt to disparage them in any way.
COMPARISON OF ERA:
Lot’s wife (informed that Sodom was to be destroyed) fled the condemned city along with her husband Lot. They had been granted a pledge of safety by God’s angels for their entire family. It was conditional on none of them looking back to see the fate of the cities of the plain. Because she could not give up her yearning curiosity for the things of this world, she succumbed to temptation. Stopping to look back, she then perished as The LORD changed her into a pillar of salt.
And in a literal comparison of the eras, we now live in a Western world where hundreds of millions worship the things of this world to the exclusion of all else.
They have waved goodbye to parental obedience, family respect and nurture, and the expression of love for anybody or anything else than their own flesh. And as they do, their hearts (metaphorically) turn into a block of stone: Similarly, the temptations prove too sweet to resist.
In both eras compared, our modern equivalents of the ‘cities of the plain’ offer a Pot Pouria: an enticing bowl of earthly delights. They are such as to pander to every vice that appeals to you, and then some. Because, as the world continues down the wide road of depravity, it constantly comes up with new things to titillate your senses.
THE GODHEAD OF THIS, THE PRE-MILLENNIAL AGE:
What can I portray that will convince you that the greater proportion of mankind has given themselves over to self-worship?
• The preoccupation with all forms of pleasurable experience, even if it carries with it the risk of injury or death?
• Drugs/alcohol, often coupled with extreme sports, even those with a total disregard for personal safety or the fact that others might have to come and attempt to rescue them?
• The reshaping/alteration of our physical features with which we were, as created beings, born into the world? (plastic surgery/extreme body-building regimes).
• The adulation of self as, allegedly, seen through the eyes of all those you think admire, respect and love you as their very best and most special friend? (Facebook and Twitter et al).
I make my point specifically with reference to the obscenities slavishly practiced by most, if not all of those referring to themselves as the new millennial multitudes.
As they frantically run around taking ‘selfies’ of the god that they really worship and adore: their own self-image, they appear to do so to the complete exclusion of anything seen to be an obstacle to their constant need for further ‘perceived’ doses of adoration.
It really is a heartbreaking, sickening, spectacle. Go to a restaurant, family dinner, sit on a bus or train, even as they drive themselves to work, they never stop recording their own image and talking to their imaginary friends.
Like small children talking to their invisible, very best friends, they are completely absorbed. Facebook/Twitter and even the dating websites have provided them with a way of convincing themselves that they are so loved and admired that they are indeed a sought-after asset, especially as a contemplated marriage partner.
Really, they have become a legend in their own lunchtime.
Have no doubt. They are suffering a satanically induced delusion; a sick addiction of the soul.
The great pivot on which this passing world swings its giddy, ever widening circumference has got to be addiction. Whether to an object, a pursuit, or similarly some new appeal to the senses; once hooked, its demands are ever-increasing until there is nothing else.
Many of us become utterly consumed.
Online gaming and gambling are perhaps good examples.
THE GIFT OF SAVING GRACE THAT SHOULD NOT BE SCORNED:
But, says the many, ‘your Bible allegedly says that even at the last, if you call upon Jesus to save you, Grace will be extended.’ That’s true, but Grace has always been scripturally recorded as being conditional on (even though it be at the death knock), with the brokenness of your repentant heart as the realization finally sinks in as to who and what you really are.
And what could that inner scrutiny reveal?
Every one of us who has opened themselves to the Saving Grace offered by Jesus knows full-well that they had first to endure a shattering introspection of self-revelation.
We had to, with revulsion, pare back the layers hitherto hiding the foul canker; that core of corruption that had totally consumed and directed our respective lives. And now finally, as you see this old world, together with your soul (as it really is), passing before your eyes, you realize how lost you really have been.
Immediately, it becomes crystal-clear: God expects us to prove ourselves by our willingness to eradicate and reject this cancer from our hearts. And with great sadness, we (at the same time) begin to appreciate what has been missing from our life, including the years of life’s real riches that were so missing from our sinful existence.
In this respect, we who have voluntarily and with joy entered ‘the sheep pen of salvation,’ are attempting (in our writings) to focus the minds of many on the Tribulation years which, undoubtedly, are fast approaching.
THOSE WHO SUDDENLY AWAKEN:
Inevitably, there will be many who thought they were saved, but never really committed a broken, repentant heart to Jesus. The siren call melody of their pleasure-orientated lives has in the past, kept calling them away. They will suddenly see their error.
What woke them?
We at Rapture Ready believe (wholly upon our literal understanding of relevant scripture) that they will have seen the terrible vacuum created by the fact that millions of people have suddenly gone: literally, disappeared!
That will immediately hasten them to go find a Bible, because ‘they will suddenly recollect those portions of scriptures they previously rejected. In many instances, their own priests/pastors snorted and wrote these claims off as deliberate misinterpretation of scripture, claiming them as nonsense and unbiblical in an allegorically interpreted Bible.’
They will also see the advent of Satan’s Anti-Christ and observe exactly what he is doing.
Dear ones all, Our loving and gracious God will, if they are genuine, allow them to recommit themselves to Himself, through Jesus, His Christ.
However, we know (from prophesy) of their suffering during the Tribulation period. It is to be beyond measure. This is particularly so when they refuse the mark of the Beast (and thus the right to live, to be housed and to buy the necessities of fleshly existence).
They are to be gathered up and executed, many by beheading. Are you aware that at least one State in the Union has changed its law on the exercise of Capital Punishment by substituting death by Guillotine in lieu of Electrocution?
This period of the Tribulation will be applauded by the Socialist Left/Greens Alliance and their commitment to Eugenics, specifically that which speaks to forcible reduction of excess population. According to them, there are too many of us and too little of the necessities to sustain life.
Don’t look for Centrelink in Australia or Welfare handouts in America. Eugenics proponents will be more than happy as millions expire from starvation. They won’t have to execute them.
JUDGMENT WILL COME:
Amongst the millions of Christ haters, there will be (according to Scripture) a huge multitude of those who will still never come to Jesus. They are truly the legion of the lost because they chose to live by their decision to reject Him.
Speaking now in the singular: unless, finally, you experience that sudden spiritual brokenness of your soul, you have, by your willful omission, pre-destined yourself for Hell. And now, unless you are willing to make that one appeal that could save you, then you are (read as ‘will be judged’) to be delivered unto the Great White Throne judgment.
You have (in your unrepentant state) determined to deny the very truth that now, suddenly, will confront you. That is, that both the Rapture and the subsequent Tribulation period have been prophetically ordained by Almighty God.
Right to the bitter end, that which billions denied would or could ever happen, indeed, was even possible, has now come to pass.
Your denial of Jesus, freely, by the expression of your own will (which clearly indicates that your decision is by personal choice) has committed your soul to be stood in condemnation before your Maker.
Remember this. You will not stand before the LORD as a loved child brought home by the one who described Himself (in John) as ‘The Good Shepherd who knows His sheep.’
To the contrary, you stand condemned as a marauding, ravening lion or part of a pack of hunting wolves that has habitually fed upon the lambs of God. On that basis, your name will not be found entered in the Book of Life opened at the Revelation.
I don’t imagine that you will even be presented opportunity to defend the frankly, indefensible. You chose to reject and deny.
Mercy was and is, only for those who, having been called before the Great White Throne, are the recipient of their ultimate salvation because they clearly are named within the Book of Life.
‘LAST-CARD-LOUIE’
Those still waiting ‘to make up their minds’ should be very mindful that there is no judgment for those already granted Grace, through their faith and trust in Jesus. His eternal Saving Grace and His own blood and scourged flesh has paid the atonement for their sin—and that accomplished by that supreme, once only, sacrifice on that small, stony hill called Golgotha.
What Jesus bought for us facilitates our redemption. Our repentance has been accepted along with our faith and trust in Him. He is aware of our commitment to constantly continue to free ourselves from our old lives of sin. And He has interceded for us unto His Father. And our names were then entered in the Book of Life.
I don’t know how to emphasize this enough: You must claim Jesus as Lord and Savior and repent your wasted life to get your name in The Book Of Life!
THE ERASING OF SIN:
Because Jesus has already fully interceded for each of us who have claimed Him LORD and Savior, our sins have been erased.
As the books containing the names of those to be judged are opened, our names will not be found therein. The Living God sees not our previous sin. His Christ has washed it away.
Our names are entered in and read only from the Book of Life.

THE SEDUCTIVENESS OF SATAN:
Satan, in his blandishments, entreats us with the soothing mantra that says ‘hush my children, there is no Hell.’
Satan’s siren call is to convince us that although he himself is real, he wants only to love and support us and help us ourselves, to create a New World Order in which we are to become its elite gods.
Satan is named by Jesus correctly ‘as a murderer and an inveterate liar.’
Satan’s aim is to destroy us utterly. Why?
Satan knows man is ultimately to be restored from his fallen state and his sin forgiven, because many have sought Jesus and thus gained redemptive Grace.
Satan knows that he was defeated by the sacrifice of the Cross and that, thereby, The Christ of the Living God has taken the victory.
Satan, even though defeated, still fights for some sort of equality or high elevation of status with God but can never gain it, because God already raised man above the angels.
Satan is described as an ‘an angel of light, the most beautiful of all angelic beings.’ That ‘light’ was extinguished long ago. There is no light in him.
Satan is personified by darkness and eternal death.
Satan knows that God intends to restore the Earth and redeemed man to their pre-fall state of pristine wonder and beauty, as it was in The LORD’S Garden.
Satan knows that he himself is ultimately doomed as his own judgment occurs.

Soon the Bridegroom comes to take the maidens into the Wedding Feast. Don’t tarry. Is your lamp full of oil? Is its wick new and trimmed? Be ready. It will not be long.
