State of the Union Address
A wise motorist will always keep his fuel tank full. In like fashion an organization keeps their human resources at the maximum to prepare for any unforeseen events that might befall the organization.
Last evening January 30, 2018, the American People were witness to a government running on a half tank! The spectacle presented by the Democratic Party of not participating in a most important State of the Union Address was disgusting! When have we heard from the Halls of Government a president who is not afraid to call on the name of God to lead us to a better life?
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…! (Psalm 33:12).
How can a business or government operate with half of their resources sitting on the sidelines? More egregious is that these people are being paid by taxpayers millions of dollars to keep them in office, yet they are not doing their job. In any organization these people would be fired.
“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand” (Mark 3:24-25).
America has been given another chance with the election of Donald Trump, and the best the Democrats can do is to stand in the way of any meaningful efforts the President is doing to get the country on the right path to greatness.
“Woe to those who enact evil statutes and to those who constantly record unjust decisions” (Isaiah 10:1).
When will the American People wake up to the folly of the Democratic Party and their choice of Leadership, and vote these people out of office?
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be…traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God…And from such people turn away!” (2 Timothy 3:1, 4-5).
Not to be outdone, the Democrats responded to the State of the Union Address with a speech by Rep. Kennedy full of the same platitudes that they have fed the people over the years. To confirm his folly, he chose the background of a broken down car that is witness to the failure of the Democrats in all they do.
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16:18).
The Democratic Party is the party of Obstruction, failure and outright lies.
“Their feet run to evil, And they make haste to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known,
And there is no justice in their ways; They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace…
“In transgressing and lying against the Lord, And departing from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey” (Isaiah 59:7-8, 13-15).
The American People deserve better. Support this President and those who are trying to restore America.
