Religion of False Peace :: by Dan Payne

Just like in America after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, true Islam is being misrepresented as a religion of peace in France and elsewhere in the Western world.

Western media and politicians are currently twisting the truth of Islam into a peaceful narrative that fits the world’s agenda. Since many world leaders are cohesively ratcheting up their rhetoric which will eventually lead to world war, it is a false peace.

According to Barak Hussein Obama, the terrorists who brutally gunned down and attempted to blowup many unarmed civilians in Paris do not represent Islam. Well Mr. Obama, they themselves claim to represent Islam and they certainly do represent the Quran and the Quran certainly does represent Islam.

Hillary Clinton says she doesn’t think we’re at war with Islam, she says we’re at war with “jihadists.” French president Francois Hollande also says that the Islamic State does not represent Islam.

Well again, the Islamic State may not represent the world’s version of false Islam but the terrorists most certainly do represent the Quran’s version of true Islam.

Just because false Islam rides in defense and peace during its response to terror attacks doesn’t mean that true Islam does not ride in offense and war during its execution of those same terrorist attacks.

Many lies are believed solely because they are proclaimed as truth. It’s as if the world is totally blind to any form of truth that interferes with its flowers, candles, and lattes. (Of course flowers, candles, and lattes etc. are good but using them as a shield against the truth of Islamic terrorism is ignorant at best.)

It was reported that the husband of one of the Paris attack victims said that the Islamic State could not make him “hate.” It was also reported that one of the survivors said, “You have to love everybody.”

One either hates the truth and loves the lie, or hates the lie and loves the truth. It is not supposed to be about hating human beings. That is a tactic used by those who love the lie. They will always claim that we who hate lies also hate human beings.

How can someone who hates what true Islam allows, i.e. the rape and murder of unarmed men, women, and children, hate those same unarmed men, women, and children?

It is astounding that we who profess to follow Christ who said “love your enemies” have to defend ourselves against those who say we hate our neighbors. Only a very depraved world would choose Islam over Christianity, death over life.

The brutal terrorists openly assert that they are murdering defenseless civilians in the name of Islam. Quite literally in fact, “We are the ISLAMIC State.” And yet the world says that the terrorists are falsely depicted, that they do not represent true Islam.

One may wonder why the world believes the Pope when he claims to represent “true” Christianity. The answer is because the Pope does not follow the accurate teachings of the Holy Bible, he twists the truth.

One may also wonder why the world believes the Western media pundits who claim to represent true Islam. The answer is because the pundits do not follow the accurate teachings of the Quran, they also twist the truth.

Again, the world seems to have an appetite for that which is false.

The terrorists proudly pose for photos while displaying their personal well-read copies of the Quran. What more proof does the world need? We don’t see any of the so called Western “experts” holding up any copies of the Quran while they scold those of us who proclaim the truth of what we see.

Are we supposed to receive instruction about those who do read the entire Quran from those who do not? Just because someone claims to be a Muslim does not mean that they accurately represent what the book of Islam actually teaches.

Likewise, as true born-again Christians know, there are far too many who profess faith in Christ but speak and live in complete ignorance and rebellion of the central teachings of the Bible.

A literal reading of the New Testament commands love and forgiveness toward your enemies. A literal reading of the Quran commands hatred and death toward your enemies.

It can be said that the Bible does not teach complete abstinence in defense of family and country when under violent physical assault, otherwise how could a nation have been born to proclaim the gospel through generations of missionaries and printed Bibles?

The Bible does teach that true followers of Christ are not to use violent physical power to fight spiritual wars. Jesus taught that true believers are to never use physical violence against those who reject Him or His teachings:

“Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him [Jesus] to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem, and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him. But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem.

And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, ‘Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?’ But He turned and rebuked them, and said, ‘You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.’ And they went to another village” (Luke 9:51-56).

I wonder what the “prophet” Muhammad would have commanded his followers to do to that village under similar circumstances? Did Muhammad seek to save men’s lives or destroy them?

The Quran teaches that true Muslims must force their faith upon others. The Bible teaches that true Christians must not force their faith upon others. The Bible teaches that Christians should lead by humble example. The Quran teaches that Muslims should lead with forceful Jihad.

Yet the world believes and teaches just the opposite about Christians and Muslims. Oh, those Muslims are a peaceful people; they would never try to force their Sharia Law upon the citizens of the countries that they infiltrate.

But just you watch out for those nasty Christian fundamentalists though, they hate everyone and they’ll try and shove their religion down your throat just as sure as the sun rises in the east.

Well it should be better to be accused of trying to lead someone to eternal life than to lead someone to earthly pain, misery, and death.

Again, apparently it cannot be repeated enough, if so many people who identify themselves as Muslims do not want to conquer the world through Jihad, then they are denying the teachings of the Quran. According to the Quran they are not true Muslims.

The Quran teaches peace only toward those who do not reject faith, those who are not transgressors, and those who do not turn renegades. As seen in the verses above, the commandments for the followers of Jesus toward those who reject faith stands in direct contrast to the commandments of the Quran.

It’s all laid out in the Islamic holy book and it’s very easy to understand. In fact, the Quran is as easy to understand as today’s headlines that describe the violent actions of its own true adherents.

The world’s politicians, media, teachers, etc. should not twist the easy to understand murder and hate of the Quran into a lie of peace. Likewise, they should not twist the life and love of the Holy Bible into a lie of murder and hate.

We true Christian believers should use our voice against any attempt to twist the true faith of Christianity into whatever narrative the world decides fits its agenda.

We true Christians should be unashamed and demand that anyone critiquing our faith should quote from the entirety of our holy book, the Holy Bible, both the Old and the New Testament, from beginning to end.

Similarly, true Muslims also ought to be willing to do the same. They should be willing to let the world truly and accurately quote from the entire Quran, from beginning to end. If they don’t then that should raise a red flag.

If you read all of the familiarly quoted verses from the Quran that say “slay them wherever you find them” in their entire context, you will find that all of the surrounding verses support the murder of those who reject Islam.

That may be why you will not be hearing any Islamic apologists quoting those verses in their entire context anytime soon.

Just because someone says that they’re a Muslim doesn’t mean that they’re a Muslim. They may identify themselves as Muslims and they may even believe that they are Muslims but they are not true Muslims if they ignore the core teachings of their holy book.

If the world wants to trust and embrace those who claim to be true Muslims but are not, and are instead a “peaceful” people who happen to be ignorant of what true Islam teaches, then maybe the world should just go ahead and trust those people.

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
