Upcoming Prophesy Events :: By Barry W. Madosky

Damascus Destroyed

The number one prophetic event on the calendar has to the rapture of the church. Jesus’ coming in the clouds to take away the church is imminent. As Christians we should be watching and praying for our Lords coming. That said we also can be looking at other prophesies yet to be fulfilled like the destruction of Damascus. The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both describe what appears to be a nuclear bomb or similar supernatural event that leaves Damascus and a large out lying area uninhabitable. Jeremiah goes so far as to say that God will destroy Damascus himself, not Israel as many would think (perhaps Israel will be blamed). We know that this event has not occurred because Damascus is the oldest continuous inhabited city in the Middle East. If we look at what is happening now in Syria we find what is probably the last Kingdom of Syria. King Bashar al-Assad’s is in a civil war currently with rebels who look to put a democratic Islamic government in place. The outcome of this war is significant because Isaiah’s prophesy clearly states Syria has to be a “kingdom.” Isaiah’s prophesy also states that before Damascus is destroyed the Syrians will attack Israel and specifically the area of Ephraim’s inheritance with some kind of weapon that causes skin problems and loss of appetite. This weapon could be a chemical bomb carrying a chemical agent like VX gas etc.. Syria has one of the largest chemical weapon programs in the world. The timing of this event according to Isaiah corresponds with the wheat harvest that usually occurs in early summer.

Isaiah 17:1-5

1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city (Damascus has never stopped being a city – so future event), and it shall be a ruinous heap (Nuclear/supernatural). 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken (20 cities around Damascus in the nuclear fallout zone): they shall be for flocks (no buildings left – just grass for sheep), which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid (Because no predatory animals can live there). 3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim (Could be a military base(s) that sustains the chemical attack and/or peace finally in this area – fences come down for Ezekiel 38 and 39 future event), and the kingdom (King Bashar al-Assad or future Kingdom) from Damascus (Assad’s palace and war bunker in Damascus), and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, says the LORD of hosts.4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob (Israel) shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean (Chemical gas attack). 5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathers the corn (Wheat is harvested in early summer- timing of the event), and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathers ears in the valley of Rephaim (God will judge Damascus and men will fall like wheat in the valley of Rephaim – where war happened and soldiers died in Israel’s past).

Jeremiah 49:23-27

23 (Prophesy) Against Damascus. “Hamath and Arpad (Cities in Syria not in nuclear fallout zone) are shamed, for they have heard bad news (Heard of the nuclear attack on Damascus). They are fainthearted (Worried about their own safety); There is trouble on the sea; It cannot be quiet (Could be a naval war going on). 24 Damascus has grown feeble; She turns to flee, And fear has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor. 25 Why is the city of praise not deserted (The people and armies of Syria were warned of the nuclear/supernatural attack), the city of My joy? 26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day (Military do not heed warning so they die),” says the Lord of hosts. 27 “I will (The Lord will destroy Damascus not Israel) kindle a fire in the wall (The bomb is brought into Damascus not sent through air) of Damascus (Nuclear/supernatural bomb), And it shall consume (Result of nuclear bomb) the palaces of Ben-Hadad (Common name for the Kings of Syria; Adad also a god worshipped by Syrians; King Assad will likely be consumed).”

Exile of Iranians

In 1993, Iran and the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy signed an agreement for the construction of two Russian reactors at Bushehr, but the contract was never carried out as Iran was facing major financial problems. In January 1995, Iran again signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy to finish the reactors at Bushehr, which they finished in September 2011. It is interesting that a country with billions of barrels of oil reserves decides to forsake a cheap energy source for an expensive nuclear program. Iran would say its nuclear program is peaceful but out of the other side of their mouth they say they want to annihilate Israel off the map. It is amazing in this prophesy by Jeremiah how accurate God’s word is as we see the relationship between Iran and Russia come together in this judgment of Elam/Iran. Notice that it is God who destroys Iran’s nuclear arsenal not its enemies the USA and Israel. Somehow the Lord is going to turn Iran’s nuclear weapons on itself and cause a nuclear explosion described here as bringing “the four winds from the four quarters of heaven.” When this event happens it causes the people of Iran who are still alive to flee their country and live abroad. Never before in the history of Persia, Elam or Iran have the people been completely evacuated from their homeland. Iran’s government, leaders and military will be destroyed. There will be no one left in the country and that is when the Lord says He will set his throne in Elam/Iran for a period of time. This period of time may correspond with the time of relative peace (Ezekiel 38:11) Israel enjoys before the Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39 war. In verse 39 of Jeremiah 49 we see the Iranians are allowed to immigrate back into their land, which will give them the opportunity to participate in Ezekiel’s war. Upon returning to their land the Iranian people are still under the captivity of Islam and they reestablish their relationship with Russia as we can see in Ezekiel 38:2-5.

Jeremiah 49:35-39

35 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will (God) break the bow (Hebrew word qesheth that means weapon used for battle or show of might. Could be nuclear missile launch sites) of Elam, the chief (Hebrew word reshiyth, which is the feminine noun form of rosh and can mean leader and more specifically a descendent of Rosh or Russia– perhaps the bow/weapon is from Mother Russia) of their might.36 And upon Elam will I (God) bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven (Nuclear explosion), and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come (Mass evacuation of Iran’s people to other nations, which has never happened in their history). 37 For I will (God performs His will) cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies (USA/Israel), and before them that seek their life: and I will (God performs His will) bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, says the LORD; and I will (God) send the sword after them (Iran), till I have consumed them (Major military defeat of Iran): 38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king (Khomeini?) and the princes (Ahmadinejad?), says the LORD.

(Future) 39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days (Time of Ezekiel 38 and 39), that I will bring again (Iranian’s will come back to their land captive to Islam again) the captivity (Islam) of Elam (Iran), says the LORD

Psalm 83 War

There have been 3 major wars between Israel and its Arab neighbors since Israel came back into the land in 1948 and some may think that any one of the three Arab wars fulfilled the prophesy outlined by Asaph in Pslam 83. There are two reasons why those wars do not fulfill Psalm 83: Firstly, the neighbors were not wiped out. In fact, Israel’s Arab neighbors listed in the Psalm 83 are still there after thousands of years; Secondly, Egypt and Syria took part in those wars. In the Psalm 83 war somehow Syria and Egypt are not present. As discussed previously Syria may cease to exist as a fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1-5, but Egypt is harder to explain. Perhaps an explanation would be the results of recent elections in Egypt where the Muslim Brotherhood, a sect of Islam that hates Israel, was voted into power and they become entangled in a civil war with the military power that has been in charge for decades. There are many types of scenarios that could play out but for now it is a mystery of why they do not join in the Psalm 83 war. Israel’s neighbors Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza, and parts of Arabia are all descendents of Edom, Ishmael, Moab, Hagarenes, Gebal, Ammon, Amalek, Philstines Tyre and Assur or they are Arabs living in the lands occupied by those former peoples. Israel’s Arab neighbors will come together at some time to cut Israel off from being a nation. This is their primary reason for attacking Israel besides their hate for Israel. Somehow these Arab nations get Russia to go to war with them and possibly lead them into war. Perhaps these nations get a United Nations Resolution to attack Israel. Regardless we know these nations have formed a pledge together against Israel. The Arab nations will organize and attack Israel from the plains of modern day Jordan, which is relatively flat and directly east of Israel. There are many prophesies from Isaiah, Jeremiah, Asaph, Zephaniah, Obadiah, and Ezekiel that reveal that the God of Israel will not allow these Arab armies past the border of Israel. It appears that the Lord first destroys these Arab armies with His own “sword” supernaturally then he uses Israel’s nuclear arsenal to make the lands of these Arab neighbors uninhabitable. The Lord’s judgment of these Arab nations is clearly stated as to their continual hatred of their relatives in Israel and a specific incident where their Arab forefathers piled on Israel when Israel was being exiled to Babylon. The Lord says they should have at least tried to come to Israel’s rescue. The destruction of these Arab nations and their lands will create a buffer zone for Israel to live in relative peace from those that hate them. Perhaps this war will allow Israel to be “at rest” and live in “unwalled villages” as it is prophesied in Ezekiel 38:11.

Psalm 83 (Asaph’s prayer)

1 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.2 For, lo, thine enemies (Arab Neighbors) make a tumult (Noise): and they that hate thee have lifted up the head (Russia – Hebrew word Rosh, which is same word used in Ezekiel 38:2).3 They have taken crafty counsel (Maybe United Nations) against thy people (Israel), and consulted against thy hidden ones (Maybe Christian Zionists – see Psalm 91:1; Col 3:3). 4 They have said, Come, and let us (Arab Neighbors) cut them off from being a nation (Plan to get rid of Israel. Israel has been nation only three times – First time as a nation cut off by Babylonians and Second time as a nation cut off by the Romans; Third time as a nation Israel has only been threatened by other nations – could be talking about Psalm 83 neighbors of today); that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance (Satanic motive). 5 For they have consulted together with one consent (Perhaps a U.N. Resolution or devine pledge): they are confederate (Hebrew word Beriyth that can mean divine covenant or pledge) against thee: 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;7Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek (These 6 peoples are modern day Palestinians – made up of Arab people); the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre (the few descendents of these people occupy Lebanon); 8 Assur (Lebanese) also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot (All the nations that surround Israel today except Egypt). Selah. 9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: 10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. 11Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna (All of these soldiers were killed by Israel in the past):12 Who said, let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession (Take over inheritance of Israel). 13 O my God, make them like a wheel (Spinning dust); as the stubble (Cut off) before the wind.14 As the fire burns wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire (Nuclear – future event); 15 So persecute them with thy tempest (Whirlwind), and make them afraid with thy storm (Nuclear weapons create their own wind, clouds and storm like conditions).16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame , and perish : 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Isaiah 17:12-14

12 Woe to the multitude of many people (Israel’s neighbors), which make a noise (Tumult) like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations (Hebrew word Leum, which can mean of an Arabian tribe), that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!13 The nations (Leum – of an Arabian tribe) shall rush (Come together quickly) like the rushing of many waters (Hebrew word Shaah – can mean crash): but God shall rebuke them (God will take care of the Arab armies), and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind (Appears to be nuclear).14 And behold at evening tide trouble; and before the morning he is not (Arab armies will be annihilated before the sun comes up). This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.

Isaiah 34:1-17

1 Come near, ye nations (Hebrew word gowy, which generally means descendents of Abraham but not Hebrew people – most likely Arab people), to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear (Warning to the earth), and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. 2 For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish), and his fury upon all their armies (Most likely Arab armies): he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcasses, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood (Nuclear blast has enough heat to melt). 4 And all the host of heaven (False gods) shall be dissolved (False gods of these nations will be dissolved – maybe literally and figuratively), and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll (Describes nuclear explosion that goes into the second heaven – atmosphere): and all their host shall fall down (Armies fall straight down like a leaf or a fig), as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.5 For my sword (God does this Himself somehow) shall be bathed in heaven (The weapon used will go into the second heaven, the atmosphere, like a nuclear bomb does): behold, it shall come down upon Idumea (Edomites or the Palestinian peoples who are descendents of Edomites/Arabs), and upon the people of my curse (Those who bless Israel will be blessed those who curse Israel will be cursed – Genesis 12:3), to judgment.6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.7 And the unicorns (Maybe describing a tank) shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.8 For it is the day of the LORD’S vengeance, and the year of recompenses (Time for reaping what they sowed) for the controversy of Zion (Islam’s false claim to Jerusalem and land of Israel).9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burningpitch.10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste ; none shall pass through it for ever and ever (This event has never happened before so it is still future).11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it (Only small animals will be able to survive in a post nuclear ground zero area): and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing (No people will survive the nuclear explosion in old Idumea/Edom).13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls .14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate (Only the vultures will want to live in this area).16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read : no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded , and his spirit it hath gathered them. 17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it forever from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.

Zephaniah 2:8-11

8 “I have heard the reproach of Moab, And the insults of the people of Ammon, With which they have reproached My people, And made arrogant threats against their borders. 9 Therefore, as I live,” Says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Surely Moab shall be like Sodom, and the people of Ammon like Gomorrah (Not in existence) — Overrun with weeds and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation (Future nuclear type of event – Ammon, Jordan still in existence today). The residue of My people shall plunder them, And the remnant of My people shall possess them (Land will be available to Israel, which has never happened before).” 10 This they shall have for their pride, because they have reproached and made arrogant threats against the people of the Lord of hosts (God’s motive for judgment). 11 The Lord will be awesome to them, For He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People shall worship Him, Each one from his place, Indeed all the shores of the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish).

Obadiah 1:1-18

1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord God concerning Edom (We have heard a report from the Lord, And a messenger has been sent among the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish), saying, “Arise, and let us rise up against her for battle”): 2 “Behold, I will make you small among the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish); You shall be greatly despised. 3 The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; You who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’ 4 Though you ascend as high as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down,” says the Lord. 5 “If thieves had come to you, If robbers by night– Oh, how you will be cut off (Hebrew word damah can mean destroyed or perish)! Would they not have stolen till they had enough? If grape-gatherers had come to you, would they not have left some gleanings? 6 “Oh, how Esau shall be searched out! How his hidden treasures shall be sought after! 7 All the men in your confederacy (Hebrew word Beriyth that can mean divine covenant or pledge) shall force you to the border (Most likely the covenant of the destruction of Israel pledged by all its Islamic neighbors will bring them to fight together in the Psalm 83 war – except Egypt); The men at peace with you shall deceive you and prevail against you. Those who eat your bread shall lay a trap for you. No one is aware of it. 8 “Will I not in that day,” says the Lord, “Even destroy the wise men from Edom, And understanding from the mountains of Esau? 9 Then your mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, To the end that everyone from the mountains of Esau May be cut off (Hebrew word karath that can mean physically destroyed forever) by slaughter. 10 “For violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you (God says it is because of the violence against Israel these people will be slaughtered – all of Israel’s neighbors today cause violence against them), and you shall be cut off (Hebrew word karath that can mean physically destroyed forever) forever. 11 In the day that you stood on the other side. In the day that strangers carried captive his forces, When foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem– Even you were as one of them (The lord is reminding the descendents of Esau that they did not come to the aide of Israel when the Babylonians sacked Jerusalem and took Israel away captive. In fact, the Lord says Esau joined with the Babylonians). 12 But you should not have gazed on the day of your brother In the day of his captivity; Nor should you have rejoiced over the children of Judah In the day of their destruction; Nor should you have spoken proudly In the day of distress. 13 You should not have entered the gate of My people In the day of their calamity. Indeed, you should not have gazed on their affliction In the day of their calamity, Nor laid hands on their substance In the day of their calamity. 14 You should not have stood at the crossroads to cut off (Hebrew word karath that can mean physically destroyed forever) those among them who escaped; nor should you have delivered up those among them who remained In the day of distress (Reasons for future judgment). 15 “For the day of the Lord upon all the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish) is near; As you have done, it shall be done to you (Sow and reap principle); Your reprisal shall return upon your own head. 16 For as you drank on my holy mountain, so shall all the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish) drink continually; Yes, they shall drink, and swallow, and they shall be as though they had never been (Descendents of Esau will be annihilated). 17 “But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. 18 The house of Jacob shall be a fire (Hebrew word esh can mean God’s anger), And the house of Joseph a flame (Flame = lehabah in Hebrew and can mean tip of the weapon Could mean Israel is used to bring judgment against Esau and his descendents the Palestinians/Arabs.); But the house of Esau shall be stubble (Future nuclear like event); They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau (Annihilation of the “Palestinian/Arab people.” Only nuclear bomb can leave no survivors),” For the Lord has spoken.

Jeremiah 49:7-22

7 Against Edom. Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished? 8 Flee, turn back, dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Dedan (Modern area is the Arabian Desert)! For I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him (Appears the Arabs of Arabian Desert will join forces and die with the descendents of Esau), The time that I will punish him. 9 If grape-gatherers came to you, Would they not leave some gleaning grapes? If thieves by night, Would they not destroy until they have enough? 10 But I have made Esau bare; I have uncovered his secret places, And he shall not be able to hide himself. His descendants are plundered, His brethren and his neighbors, And he is no more. 11 Leave your fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; And let your widows trust in Me.” 12 For thus says the Lord: “Behold, those whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunk. And are you the one who will altogether go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, but you shall surely drink of it. 13 For I have sworn by Myself,” says the Lord, “that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse. And all its cities shall be perpetual wastes (The Lord say, Bozrah, still a city today, will be destroyed as well as all the descendents of Esau).” 14 I have heard a message from the Lord, And an ambassador has been sent to the nations: “Gather together, come against her, And rise up to battle!” 15 For indeed, I will make you small among nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish) and despised among men. 16 Your fierceness has deceived you, the pride of your heart, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill! Though you make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there,” says the Lord. 17 “Edom also shall be an astonishment; everyone who goes by it will be astonished and will hiss at all its plagues. 18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighbors, (Bozrah and Edom will be destroyed and uninhabitable)” says the Lord, “No one shall remain there, Nor shall a son of man dwell in it. 19 “Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the floodplain of the Jordan (The staging area for the armies of the descendents of Esau – the Psalm 83 armies) against the dwelling place of the strong (Israel); but I will suddenly make him run away from her. And who is a chosen man that I may appoint over her? For who is like Me? Who will arraign Me? And who is that shepherd who will withstand Me?” 20 Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord that He has taken against Edom, And His purposes that He has proposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out; Surely He shall make their dwelling places desolate with them. 21 The earth shakes at the noise of their fall (Nuclear bombs cause earthquakes); At the cry its noise is heard at the Red Sea. 22 Behold, He shall come up and fly like the eagle, And spread His wings over Bozrah; The heart of the mighty men of Edom in that day shall be Like the heart of a woman in birth pangs.

Ezekiel 25:1-14

1 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites (Modern day Jordan), and prophesy against them. 3 Say to the Ammonites, ‘Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God: “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity (Babylonian captivity), 4 indeed, therefore, I will deliver you as a possession to the men of the East, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. 5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” 6 For thus says the Lord God: “Because you clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel (God’s reasoning for judgment), 7 indeed, therefore, I will stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish); I will cut you off (Hebrew word karath that can mean physically destroyed forever) from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy (Hebrew word shamad that can mean annihilate or exterminate) you (The Lord is personally going to destroy the country of Jordan), and you shall know that I am the Lord.” 8 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish),’ 9 therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kirjathaim (Moab will be judged because they did not defend Israel when they went into Babylonian captivity). 10 To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations (Gowy – nations that are descendents of Abraham but not Jewish). 11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord.” 12 ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them (Edom will be judged because they did not defend Israel when they went into Babylonian captivity),” 13 therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off (Hebrew word karath that can mean physically destroyed forever) man and beast from it, and make it desolate (Hebrew word chorbah that means destruction – probably nuclear) from Teman; Dedan shall fall by the sword. 14 I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel (Appears the descendents of Edom, the Palestinian Arabs, will be destroyed by Israel), that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance,” says the Lord God.

Ezekiel 35:1-15

1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir (Edomites and their descendents) and prophesy against it, 3 and say to it, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you; I will stretch out My hand against you, And make you most desolate; 4 I shall lay your cities waste, And you shall be desolate. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. 5 “Because you have had an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity (Reason for judgment – Palestinians and Arabs still have this hatred for Israel), when their iniquity came to an end, 6 therefore, as I live,” says the Lord God, “I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you. 7 Thus I will make Mount Seir most desolate, and cut off (Hebrew word karath that can mean physically destroyed forever) from it the one who leaves and the one who returns. 8 And I will fill its mountains with the slain; on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines those who are slain by the sword shall fall. 9 I will make you perpetually desolate (Nuclear bombs can make land perpetually desolate), and your cities shall be uninhabited (Nuclear bombs can make cities uninhabitable); then you shall know that I am the Lord. 10 “Because you have said, ‘these two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them (Apparently Edom and its descendents believed they could have Israel’s land and their own. This is another reason for judgment) ),’ although the Lord was there, 11 therefore, as I live,” says the Lord God, “I will do according to your anger and according to the envy which you showed in your hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them when I judge you (Sow and reap principle). 12 Then you shall know that I am the Lord. I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, ‘They are desolate; they are given to us to consume (Another reason for judgment).’ 13 Thus with your mouth you have boasted against Me and multiplied your words against Me; I have heard them.” 14 Thus says the Lord God: “The whole earth will rejoice when I make you desolate. 15 As you rejoiced because the inheritance of the house of Israel was desolate (Another reason for judgment), so I will do to you; you shall be desolate, O Mount Seir, as well as all of Edom–all of it! Then they shall know that I am the Lord.” ‘

Israel Discovers Oil?

Today, 90% of the oil Israel uses comes from Russia or some kind of Russian partnership. If a war starts with Israel against its neighbors (Psalm 83 war) then it is likely that Russia will cut off Israel’s oil supply. The USA has recently guaranteed to supply Israel oil in case of war but Israel cannot rely on the USA because they cannot trust the leadership of America. The Lord has already opened up a huge gas field (with some oil) in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel. This gas find came at the time when Egypt was backing off from its contracts to sell Israel gas through Egypt’s gas pipeline. There are prophesies that promise Israel finds oil on land specifically to Joseph’s descendents. A huge oil discovery in Israel could be the reason Russia joins the nations surrounding Israel in the Psalm 83 war. Remember “a great spoil (Ezekiel 38:12-13)” is what motivates Russia in the Ezekiel 38/39 war. At the time of the Psalm 83 war Russia does not have any real relations with the Palestinians, Jordanians, Lebanese, and other Arab states to pull them into war, and it is likely that Syria and Iran are gone by this time. Ezekiel 38 verse 4 does say that Russia has to have hooks put into its jaw in order to attack Israel. A hook is used to take someone to where they do not want to go. Perhaps Russia does not want to go back to Israel in the Ezekiel 38/39 war because it has already seen defeat in Israel in the Psalm 83 war? None the less God appears to have promised an oil discovery in the land of Joseph, however, the timing of this discovery is not particularly clear.

Genesis 49:22-26

22Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:23 The archers (Maybe neighboring Arab countries or Psalm 83 countries) have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him (Maybe it is the neighboring Arab countries who are constantly looking to destroy Joseph – Israel)): 24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel: 25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under (Oil), blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they (the blessings of oil) shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren (Map of where the blessings will be found – land above Ephraim).

Deuteronomy 33:15-16

15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,16 and for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren (A bIessing for Joseph for what brothers put him through)

Deuteronomy 33:24

And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil (The tip Asher‘s land is next to Joseph’s son Manasseh – Oil is mentioned as the blessing from the deep).
