Factoid - Kathryn was born on May 9, 1907, on a farm outside of Concordia, Missouri. Kuhlman gained fame as a faith healer. She held miracle services in Carnegie Hall for 20 years, filling the great auditorium to capacity every time. Kuhlman died on February 20, 1976, in Tulsa, following open-heart surgery.

Factoid - Albanian-Indian nun, founder of the Order of the Missionaries of Charity. Daughter of a grocer, she became a nun and went to India as a young woman. After studying nursing, she moved to the slums; in 1948 she founded her order, which served the blind, the aged, lepers, the disabled, and the dying.
