In China: Over 100,000 people are currently under observation for the new coronavirus. The death toll as of Feb. 1 is 304 with 1,481 cases confirmed – an increase of 2,590 from Friday’s total. These updated figures push the total number of confirmed cases in mainland China to over 13,700.
Worldwide: 27 countries are now affected.
In the US: As of Feb. 1, there are two cases in Illinois, three in California, one each in Washington State, Arizona and Massachusetts, and a suspected case in New York. The US issued its highest level 4 warning, saying, “Do not travel to China.”
The World Health Organization this week officially proclaimed the new coronavirus from China to be a global public health emergency. WHO says they don’t blame China. Really? Not only does it appear that the Communist government neglected to report this early enough or to report the actual number of cases in this month of the Chinese celebrations, knowing an extraordinary number of people would travel there, a direct connection has been made to the food market suspected to be the origin of the virus. What are these food markets like? Read a report from 2005, then read another just recently that shows nothing has really changed. Be prepared to be shocked.
…Meat from virtually any animal you can think of that flies or swims, crawls or walks, both domestic and wild, even to the most exotic (as they believe it promotes good health), is out in the open without refrigeration, flies landing on them. Often the animal is killed in front of them with the insides spilling on the ground, feces and all. The previous outbreaks of SARS and the Avian Flu are also suspected to have emanated from these “wet” markets.
A man (or other noun or pronoun they may go by) is saying that advising Chinese people not to eat bats is racist. Ben Shapiro discusses this issue and the video. Far from being racist, it is excellent health and safety advice to tell people to stop eating bats, along with other strange things. There are other lamestream media claiming racism as well. Harvard Professor, BU Researcher Among 3 Charged with Illegal Ties to China. Three people tied to universities and a hospital in the Boston area were indicted on charges they lied about their ties to China or tried to help the Chinese government. Among them was Dr. Charles Lieber, the chair of Harvard University’s Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Lieber had a contract with Wuhan Institute of Technology. He also ran a group that had contracts with the Dept of defense and National Institutes of Health.
Did China Steal Coronavirus From Canada And Weaponize It? Last year a mysterious shipment was caught smuggling Coronavirus from Canada. It was traced to Chinese agents working at a Canadian lab. Subsequent investigation by GreatGameIndia linked the agents to a Chinese Biological Warfare Program from where the virus is suspected to have leaked causing the Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak. The Canadian investigation is ongoing, and questions remain whether previous shipments to China of other viruses or other essential preparations took place from 2006-2018. In a 2015 academic paper, Shoham – of Bar-Ilan’s Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies – asserted that over 40 Chinese facilities are involved in bio-weapon production.
US Evacuating Citizens from Wuhan as Experts Predict Wuhan Virus Could Infect 270K. While China has supposedly dumped considerable resources into containing the outbreak (too little, too late), experts predict cases could still soar above 200,000 in less than two weeks.
Coronavirus: Australian scientists first to recreate virus outside China. Scientists in Australia have become the first to recreate the new coronavirus outside of China in what they call a “significant breakthrough.” The discovery will be shared with the World Health Organization (WHO) in the hope it may help efforts to diagnose and treat the virus. Scientists in China have also recreated the virus and shared its genome sequence, but not the virus itself.
China reports H5N1 bird flu outbreak in Hunan province. China now has an outbreak of a highly pathogenic strain of H5N1 bird flu at a farm in Hunan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said on Saturday. The case occurred on a farm with 7,850 chickens, 4,500 of which have died of the bird flu. Authorities have culled 17,828 poultry following the outbreak.

And they’re back on the streets, due back in court Feb.27. All suspects were asked to hand over their passports as some have connections to the Dominican Republic.
Fentanyl is extremely deadly! 50 times more potent than heroin. Just touching it or inhaling it can be deadly. Dealers are lacing cocaine and heroin with fentanyl, and young adults are dying in significant numbers. Overdose deaths from fentanyl have risen dramatically, up 540% in three years.
Mexico suffered its worst year for homicides in 2019, with a record 34,582 victims, underscoring the challenge President Obrador faces while waging war on drug cartels.

STORMS
Major flooding, landslides reported in Western Washington. Flooding is not letting up for parts of Western Washington this weekend. Rivers continue to rise with potential for moderate to major flooding in some areas. A person with King County Resources and Parks says this is the fourth reported flooding in this area over the last five weeks, which is something he hasn’t seen in 15 years. “It’s been a lot more flooding this year,” said Kirsten Gometz, who lives in Carnation. A landslide 60 feet wide closed all lanes on Interstate 5 northbound south of Bellingham.
Alaska Bombogenesis: This winter, rapidly-intensifying cyclones are forming over and over again in the northern Pacific. On January 28 and 29, the new bombogenesis affected south and southeast Alaska with hurricane-like winds, major waves and swell as well as intense snowstorms.
An Atlantic storm becomes the second bomb cyclone in two weeks in Atlantic Canada, bringing heavy snow and high winds to parts of Nova Scotia and snow-weary Newfoundland. Almost two weeks ago, parts of eastern Newfoundland were buried by a crippling blizzard, dumping a calendar-day record 76.2 centimeters (30 inches) of snow in St. John’s. The Canadian Armed Forces carried out 900 different snow-removal tasks for residents of St. John’s. The city had at least 100 centimeters (over 39 inches) of snow on the ground for nine straight days, the longest such streak in 19 years and second-longest January streak on record.
Brazil: Major floods and landslides. Over 50 people are confirmed dead and a number are missing after days of intense downpour struck southeastern Brazil, triggering massive floods and landslides. Belo Horizonte registered the highest precipitation in the city since records began in 1910.
Madagascar: Massive floods inundate over 10,000 homes. 31 lives have been lost so far. Madagascar declared a national emergency on Monday following days of intense downpours that triggered widespread flooding and devastation across the country.
Australia: Heavy monsoon rains drench Queensland, causing widespread floods. Widespread monsoonal rains hit most of the north, central, and western Queensland last weekend, with flood warnings issued for a number of rivers. The deluge was said to likely to continue until January 31 in northern Queensland. The good news is the rains finally ended months of dry conditions.
Kazakhstan: Capital Nur-Sultan under state of emergency as powerful winter storm hit. Authorities declared a state of emergency on Monday due to a powerful winter storm that has battered the country since January 23.
Spain: The latest figures from Storm Gloria that hit last weekend show 13 dead and 4 missing. Campanillas has been declared a catastrophic zone. Almost 800 families have registered devastating damage to their homes and/or businesses.
Saudi Arabia: Snow in the desert. Possibly the strongest cold snap ever grips northern Saudi Arabia. The first wave lasted from January 21-24. The second wave, the strongest, began January 25.

Australia fires: Canberra declares state of emergency. An out-of-control bushfire presents an immediate threat to the Australian capital and the surrounding regions. Some 100 fires are also burning elsewhere in the country, including 58 active blazes in the surrounding state of New South Wales, 20 in the southeastern state of Victoria and 20 in South Australia. Temperatures across NSW and Victoria were forecast to reach 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) going into the weekend. Since September, at least 33 people have been killed, including four firefighters, and over 11 million hectares (110,000 sq km or 27.2 million acres) of bush, forest and parks across Australia has burned with at least one billion animals killed, including tens of thousands of farm animals.

A powerful 7.7 earthquake struck in the Caribbean Sea south of Cuba and northwest of Jamaica on January 28. It shook a vast area from Mexico to Florida and beyond, but there were no reports of casualties or heavy damage.
Alaska: A series of over 50 earthquakes has hit an area about 60 miles southeast of Amchitka Island in the western Aleutians since January 25 ranging from 3.0 to 5.8. A shallow 6.1 hit the Andreanof Islands, but no people live within 100 km (62 miles).

Officials expressed confidence that the 41-year-old Muslim terrorist, whose terrorist activities trace to the era before the Sept 11 attacks, was eliminated in a January airstrike in Yemen but were awaiting confirmation before making an announcement. Al-Rimi was involved in a 2008 attack on the U.S. Embassy in Yemen. He was also connected to the 2009 plot to bring down a U.S. airliner using explosive-lined underwear.
The Pentagon is facing a firestorm of opposition to plans to cut troop levels in terror-stricken Africa. Regional analysts and military insiders from Capitol Hill to the capitals of Europe are warning that any reductions could fuel a resurgent terrorist goal of making mincemeat out of the continent. Defense Secretary Mark Esper reiterated this week that he is considering a drawdown of the roughly 5,000 U.S. forces stationed across Africa as part of a broader fundamental shift of military resources toward the Pacific to contain China. Officials say the redeployment is still in the review phase.

Poll: Majority supports decriminalizing sex work. A majority of U.S. voters support decriminalizing sex work, according to an analysis released Thursday by “left-leaning” think tank Data for Progress. The existing system of international relations and arms control treaties is crumbling. Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty is moving towards its end in 2021, and likely won’t be renewed. The US, China and Russia are developing hypersonic weapons, which aren’t limited by any existing arms control treaties. And then there’s Iran!
US military plane crashed in Afghanistan. Afghan forces and Taliban fighters clashed in a central region where the aircraft crashed, as the government tried to reach the wreckage site in a Taliban stronghold. Since then, remains of two US service members have been recovered. An investigation of the cause of the crash is ongoing. Video appeared to suggest the aircraft was a US Air Force electronic surveillance plane.

Israel has responded by targeting Hamas facilities. Fears have mounted in recent days of an escalation of violence in Gaza and the West Bank following the release of the US peace plan that is seen as heavily favoring Israel.
THE “PEACE” PLAN
PA aka PLO president M.Abbas called President Trump and dog and a son of a B**ch. He claims Trump called him on the phone, but he refused to answer. This was even before the “peace” deal was released. M.Abbas is under pressure from Arab nations tired of his constant refusal to compromise (plus, they’re afraid of Iran, therefore side with the militarily strong Israel out of necessity).
Netanyahu, Gantz and Arab ambassadors from Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain leaders traveled to the White House this week for the unveiling of the “peace” plan. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, UAE welcomed the plan. Jordan and (of course) Turkey, were critical of it.
Under this plan, the “Palestinians” would get their state in four years which would consist of the West Bank and Gaza with its capital in portions of East Jerusalem – if they follow rules set out by “The Quartet” that has been “practicing in the park” so to speak, for a long time as the “Marxists” in Israel and the US try to take the “crowns” from both leaders. But M.Abbas and the ‘Palestinians’ – invented as a people with that name in the 1960s – don’t care about a state. They want Israel to be singing funeral “dirges in the dark,” and to disappear from the face of the earth.
CONCLUSION
Faith in God is severely lacking, and many churches are in apostasy. And with nations divided against themselves and all the wars and rumors of wars, many in the world are wondering if they need to quickly build “fallout shelters.” Meanwhile, “Satan is laughing with delight” at all the chaos. And we true believers are so very weary of all the wickedness we see around us, we’ve been wondering, “How much longer, Lord”? However, all this does let us know that soon we will be called up by Christ Jesus – before the revealing of the soon-coming antichrist (not Trump) who will confirm a covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27). One can only confirm a covenant that already exists.
God does not want any of His land divided, but it will be. And there will be no real “peace” until Jesus returns. Does the following sound like “peace”?
