It’s not for everybody — for some it is too much. That is why we are necessary – to give the warning. God has set each of us in the place He wants us to be for this time and place in human history.”
As we draw nearer to the rapture, let us not faint because of all that is going on around us, but let us continue to be the “salt and light” that He called us to be. Let us finish the race set before us.

Locust Plague of Biblical Proportions According to Food & Agricultural Organization. Coronavirus is making it harder to eradicate gigantic locust swarms wreaking havoc in East Africa. The outbreak has overwhelmed officials in multiple countries. As new cases of coronavirus have been seen in much of East Africa this month, the pandemic is slowing the delivery of pesticides. COVID-19 is straining public health systems and resources in multiple countries, adding a new layer of complication. “The challenge for the international community will be to address multiple layers of need and competing crises all over the globe. East Africa now faces a hunger threat from Desert Locusts. This is a scourge of biblical proportions,” the FAO said.
CORONAVIRUS NEWS
Wild animals are taking over the streets in major cities as the human population is in lockdown. Several pictures taken by photographers around the world show all types of mammals roaming through the streets and communities, unabated. Some that have been seen aren’t normally around humans, such as puma, moose, wild boars, etc., while others used to being fed by humans are wandering around the cities looking for food.
Thailand: Wild animal attacks. Starving wild monkeys fight over scraps of food as fewer visitors are there to feed them. Large populations of wild animals are sustained almost entirely on treats handed out by tourists in a variety of Asian countries. With flow of tourists reduced, thousands of animals are forced to fend for themselves. Feeding the monkeys “can have detrimental effects. Once they get used to being fed by humans, they become habituated to humans and even display hyper-aggression if they are not given food.”
This isn’t yet the Tribulation, but in the first cycle of judgments in Revelation (Seal Judgments), wild animals will attack humans (4th seal judgment). “And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth” (Rev 6:8). Only those in Christ will escape the wrath to come (1 Thess 1:9-10; 1 Thess 5:9).

Coronavirus: People in 30s and 40s ‘increasingly becoming severe victims of Covid-19’ More and more young people are becoming critically ill after contracting coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned. Some of these victims have no underlying health conditions and have needed intensive care. Dr Maria Van Kerkhove, WHO’s coronavirus technical lead, said, “We are seeing more and more younger individuals who are experiencing severe disease. “I should say, overall, most of the people who are experiencing severe disease and ending up in ICU are people of older age, and are people who have underlying conditions. “But what we are seeing in some countries, individuals who are in their 30s, 40s and 50s who are in ICUs and have died.”
Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab, 13, and Luca Di Nicola, 19, both died after becoming infected with the virus in the UK last week. Neither of them had underlying health conditions. Ismail’s younger brother and older sister had both developed mild symptoms including a temperature and loss of taste. Luca Di Nicola was taken by ambulance to a hospital in north London, last Tuesday – but died 30 minutes later, from apparent fulminant pneumonia.
U.S. dairy farmers dump milk as pandemic upends food markets. Despite strong demand for basic foods like dairy products amid the pandemic, the milk supply chain has seen a host of disruptions preventing dairy farmers from getting products to market. Grocers have been charging consumers more, too. The average retail price of cow’s milk was up 11.2% compared to a year earlier. Finding enough truck drivers is part of the challenge.
This is just an inkling of what is prophesied for the Tribulation for those left behind after the rapture. “Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, ‘Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages'” (Revelation 6:6).

- In 2015 it was lit with the Kali goddess – Hindu “mother of the universe and destroyer.” (This so-called worshiped goddess is pictured with a skirt of severed arms, a necklace of decapitated heads, earrings of infant corpses). This figure was chosen to show ‘Mother Nature needs a fierce avatar to fight dangers of pollution and extinction’ (!?)
- In 2019, the One World Trade Center spire and other landmarks were lit in pink to celebrate legislation that expanded abortion rights and eliminated several restrictions on abortion in the state. Governor Cuomo said, “The Reproductive Health Act is a historic victory for New Yorkers and for our progressive values… I am directing that New York’s landmarks be lit in pink to celebrate this achievement and shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow.” Cuomo was photographed looking up at the lit spire with great delight.
- In 2020, now the Empire State Building is lit with flashing red lights to honor the emergency workers in this state with, by far, the most cases and deaths of the coronavirus.
- And NYC’s Mayor DeBlasio says he is watching a Christian organization to make sure the emergency tent hospital it set up “follows NYC’s laws and values.”
Not just New York, but the world has become a giant cesspool of wickedness. Is it any wonder that God is allowing this pandemic? Mankind brings evil upon its own self (Romans 1:18-32; 2 Timothy 3; Luke 17:26-30). And when the rain falls, it falls on the just and the unjust. But those of us in Christ have the Blessed Hope. We can rest in that knowledge. Whether we live or die in this world, we know we will be with Jesus for eternity.

Because of an executive order issued by the Democratic governor, any new prescriptions for hydroxychloroquine must go through the already overrun hospital system. This makes no sense. Sources tell me that Cuomo has access to MILLIONS of doses of hydroxychloroquine right now. The federal government has tens of millions of doses and has made millions of doses available to the New York governor. Many doctors believe hydroxychloroquine is the best treatment option available for their patients. Why is Cuomo denying these ill New Yorkers this medication?” [Likely because President Trump supports giving the medication.]

A Seized Hoarder’s Huge Stockpile of Masks and Gloves Will Now Go to Doctors and Nurses. The material included 130,000 surgical masks, 598,000 medical grade gloves, surgical gowns, disinfectant towels, bottles of hand sanitizer and spray disinfectant. Officials seized the supplies from Baruch Feldheim, a 43-year-old Brooklyn man arrested for lying about his activity and coughing on FBI agents who questioned him. Feldheim offered to sell around 1,000 N95 masks and other materials to a New Jersey doctor for $12,000, a 700% markup over normal prices. Feldheim told the doctor he could pick up the materials at an auto repair shop. The doctor said the auto repair shop contained enough materials, including hand sanitizers, antiseptic wipes and surgical supplies, to outfit an entire hospital.
Choir decided to go ahead with rehearsal. Now dozens of them have Covid19 and two are dead. 60 singers showed up. A greeter offered hand sanitizer at the door, and members refrained from hugs and handshakes and sang while trying to keep a certain distance between each other. Nearly 3 weeks later, 45 have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or ill with the symptoms, 3 hospitalized and 2 dead. The outbreak stunned county health officials, who concluded that the virus was almost certainly transmitted through the air from one or more people without symptoms.
44 UT Austin ‘Spring Breakers’ test positive for COVID-19. Austin Public Health in Texas is investigating a cluster of positive COVID-19 cases returning from a Spring Break trip to Mexico. About 1 1/2 weeks ago, the group of 70 in their 20s left for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on a chartered plane. Not all came back on the same flight; some took commercial airlines back. On Wednesday, the University of Texas at Austin confirmed 44 students have tested positive for COVID-19.
After ignoring warnings, Israeli ultra-Orthodox hit by virus. Early this week, the streets of the central Israeli city of Bnei Brak were bustling with shoppers as ultra-Orthodox residents, obeying their religious leaders, ignored pleas to stay home in the face of the coronavirus threat. By Friday, Bnei Brak had become the country’ worst hot spot and now resembles a ghost town. One expert estimated that nearly 40% of the city’s population might already have been infected. The government declared Bnei Brak a “restricted zone” Thursday, limiting movement in and out of the city. Earlier in the day, police patrols were already out in large numbers to make sure residents remained indoors.
Haredi neighborhoods in Jerusalem have higher infection rate than Bnei Brak. “The majority of those ill with coronavirus in Jerusalem are in the ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods,” said Interior Minister Arye Deri.

He said, “We do not know how long the commercial flights in your countries may continue to operate… as many airlines have already slashed most of their international service. We can’t guarantee the U.S. government’s ability to arrange charter flights indefinitely where commercial options no longer exist.”

United Nations wants 10% of entire planet’s annual income in fund for coronavirus response. The UN Secretary General announced creation of a fund for addressing the pandemic – simultaneously asking nations to contribute equivalent of at least 10% annual income of the entire planet to a massive “human-centered coordinated stimulus package” to be administered at international level. The plan would effectively place a global agency, presumably the UN, in charge of propping up world economies during the crisis, placing it in charge of 10% of global income. Use of funds would include contraception and so-called ‘reproductive health.’ But of course; They must continue to decrease what they consider the surplus population, as the Georgia Guidestone command says, to 1/6 of what it is to “leave room for nature” (worship).

Abortion centers remain open, considered “essential.” According to Love Life counselors, “there were over 20 women and children packed into the very small building in Greensboro which has to have a very small waiting room.” One of the pro-lifers began reading to police from the Stay At Home order which allows for “outdoor activity, provided the individuals comply with Social Distancing Requirements.” “Outdoor activity” is listed under exceptions for “essential activities,” with outdoor examples including but not limited to “walking, hiking, golfing, running, cycling, or using the greenways.” Specifically, the order bans gatherings of over 10 people and directs everyone to physically stay at least 6 feet apart from others. Several people praying outside of the abortion center and ministering were arrested even though they kept several feet apart. They were given the choice to leave, but chose not to do so.

Whatever caused this virus and whatever the global agenda may be, this new highly contagious pneumonia virus is real and is overwhelming hospitals, and supplies to deal with it. I warned about this charlatan, Rodney Howard-Browne in last week’s prayer center post. He claims his church has Coronavirus zapping machines installed to protect worshipers. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg’s bizarre claims by him and what he promotes. What he likely worships are the dollars in the collection plates. The church has the capability to stream the services online and on TV to people at home but instead encouraged people to attend services, putting hundreds at risk and thousands who interact with them in danger.
Pope Francis is dropping the title of Vicar of Christ and is just using ‘his own name’ in the annual Vatican yearbook. Vicar of Christ means “earthly representative of Christ” in the Catholic belief. Of course, he’s no earthly representation of Christ, as we know, but this act is causing consternation among some cardinals who already have a problem with the “humanism” he’s embraced. Humanism: “an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine matters.” Former papal nuncio Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò said,

The piece of bread in that gold sun-like statue does not become the actual body of Christ, nor does the wine become His actual blood; nor is He staying on the cross so He can come down every day to be eaten and drank (*transubstantiation). Communion is a “remembrance” of what Christ did on the cross for us. And the Bible says all who are in Christ are His saints.
*Transubstantiation is the teaching that during the Mass, at the consecration in the Lord’s Supper (Communion), the elements of the Eucharist, bread and wine, are transformed into the actual body and blood of Jesus and that they are no longer bread and wine but only retain their appearance of bread and wine. Nowhere in scripture do we find this teaching. We see scriptures refer to the elements as the body and blood, but we also see Jesus clearly stating that the words He was speaking were spiritual words when talking about eating his flesh and drinking his blood: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life,” (John 6:63). He did not say they were literal words; that is, He did not say that they were His actual body and blood. You can read more about it at the above link.

The store owner said, “The neighbor upstairs said when they broke the window it sounded like a car smashing into the store.” The employee Hamzeh Abushariah, who was sleeping in the store due to social distancing and watching out for the store, said it sounded like a shotgun. He grabbed a gun and fired, wounding one of the suspects, causing the other two to flee. He used a gun which the store owner had purchased in order to keep the premises safe during the coronavirus crisis. Police charged the employee with “malicious wounding, reckless handling of a firearm, and violation of a protective order” and he is being held without bail.

Trump’s tweet came after the director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Jared Moskowitz, told Tucker Carlson that he discovered 3M was favoring foreign buyers and had refused to sell him the masks for healthcare workers on the frontlines in Florida.

FBI warned of Chinese researchers transporting disease samples in US before coronavirus. Multiple incidents involving Chinese researchers caught transporting highly infectious disease samples in 2018 and 2019 have surfaced in a new report. In all three cases, the Chinese nationals did not have supporting documentation declaring their transport of biological materials.
Chinese doctor who first raised the alarm over COVID-19 vanishes. Ai Fen, director of the emergency unit at Wuhan Central Hospital, told a magazine in March that she’d been harshly reprimanded by Chinese authorities for telling the world the novel coronavirus could spread globally if China didn’t act. She’d shared a picture of a patient reporting SARS-like coronavirus on WeChat, China’s most popular messaging app. This eventually made its way to Dr. Li Wenliang, the whistleblower doctor who tried to issue the first warning about the deadly coronavirus but was painted by China’s propaganda machines as a liar and was ordered to shut his mouth. Li contracted the coronavirus while working at the hospital and died. Now Ai Fen is missing.

EXTREME WEATHER
China: Huge forest fire kills 18 firefighters and one guide. The fire that broke out on Monday in Sichuan province been contained after burning thousands of acres. The firefighters were trapped by a sudden wind change. The cause of the blaze is unknown, but abnormally warm and dry weather and high winds helped the fire spread. Several forest fires have broken out in the prefecture in recent days.
Solomon Islands: Tropical Cyclone Harold leaves 28 dead.. On Friday morning, maritime authorities confirmed that 28 people went missing after being washed from a ferry amid rough seas in the Solomon Islands. The Category 2 storm is expected to be a Category 3 when it reaches Vanuatu.
Hawaii: Another intense Kona Low lashed parts of Hawaii on March 28, causing major flooding in Kauai island which brought the total March rainfall amount to nearly 2,032 mm (80 inches).
Spain: Severe floods hit parts of eastern Spain after 4 months’ worth of rain in 24 hours. Torrential rains led to flash flooding in the coastal parts of Valencia, Spain, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Up to 147 mm (5.8 inches) of rain fell in the region– four times the average rainfall for this time of the year (normal rainfall is 34 to 39 mm; 1.3 to 1.5 inches). Castellon was also hit hard after recording up to 150 mm (5.9 inches) of rain, its highest daily rainfall since 1976.
Europe: Destructive frost hits SE Europe, one of the coldest April mornings in a decade. The northern Balkans experienced one of their coldest April mornings in a decade on Thursday, as destructive frost hit many parts of SE Europe during the time of blossoming trees. Many vineyards and fruit plantations across southeastern Europe experienced almost 100% damage.
Indonesia: Widespread damage after new wave of floods. Over 9,280 buildings were flooded and 56,000 people affected after heavy rains triggered widespread flooding in Bandung regency.
Afghanistan: Hundreds of homes destroyed as severe flash floods hit, resulting in at least 11 fatalities and hundreds of buildings partially or completely damaged.
EARTHQUAKES
Idaho: A 6.5 earthquake struck the state on Tuesday, the second-largest in Idaho’s history. Surprisingly, there were no reports of injuries or damage.
Swarm of over 650 earthquakes rattles Utah, Idaho and California. Three of those quakes were in the magnitude-4 range. More than 600 earthquakes have hit across Utah and surrounding areas since a 5.7-magnitude quake struck near Salt Lake City on March 18. As of Monday morning, 658 earthquakes as part of a series of aftershocks had been reported. Update: That total is now over 700.
California: A 4.9 earthquake hit near Palm Springs on Friday. The shallow temblor had a depth of 6.6 miles. Following the initial jolt were five aftershocks. The strong quake was felt in parts of Orange County and throughout the San Diego area.
Israel: 4.3 earthquake struck southern Israel on Sunday morning. “Storms, coronavirus and now earthquake; what else? The 10 plagues? God save us,” said Galit Adler Malka, a resident of Eilat, who felt the earthquake.

WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS
China seizes Covid-19 advantage in South China Sea. China has ramped up military drills and energy exploitation in the contested waterway while the US military is bogged down in virus crisis at home. Rival Southeast Asian claimants are also in a compromised strategic position as they contend with worsening Covid-19 outbreaks. But the US hasn’t taken its eyes off of China’s devious doings. The US Navy’s 7th fleet announced that its Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, the USS Barry (DDG 52), conducted its own live drills in recent days, launching a missile in the South China Sea while conducting freedom of navigation operations in the Western Pacific. Also, as I reported last week, the US is withdrawing troops from the Middle East to focus on China’s aggression.
Venezuelan warship shoots, rams into German cruise vessel before sinking. A Venezuelan navy ship fired shots at a German-owned cruise ship on March 30 and rammed into the passenger vessel, leading to the sinking of the warship in the Caribbean. The Iranian regime-allied Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro accused the captain of the RCGS RESOLUTE cruise ship of “terrorism and piracy” and sought to force the ship into a new direction on the high seas. The cruise ship, which had no passengers on board and was sailing under a Portuguese flag, has a reinforced hull that enables it to sail through ice water.
Saudi-UAE coalition carried out air raids on Yemen’s Sanaa on Monday, killing dozens of horses at a military school. Last Saturday, Saudi Arabia said it intercepted two ballistic missiles, part of a drone and missile attack the Iran-aligned Houthis said they’d launched. The recent escalation has shattered over three months of calm in the five-year-old conflict in which tens of thousands of Yeminis have been killed, many of them civilians, in what the UN describes as the world’s greatest humanitarian crisis, with millions displaced and in need of aid.

Jerusalem Residents Awaken Mystified by Simultaneous Midnight Shofar Blasts. Was this a certain group of rabbis blowing the shofar as a call to repentance so that God would remove the coronavirus from their midst? No one knows. One resident had this to say: “I wanted it to be the real thing. I wanted the next stage. I didn’t want it to stop. I wanted it to get louder and louder until everybody woke up and ran outside. That feeling was incredible. INCREDIBLE. I want it again but for real. I want everyone to feel it and experience it. This is what we’ve been waiting for and what else are we now waiting for? To get back to business as usual?!?!?! What a downer. What an anti-climax! Do we know in our hearts that at any moment He will send Mashiach…(Messiah)?”
It will take the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble,” also known as Daniel’s 70th week and the Tribulation to turn Israel back to God and learn who their true Messiah is—Christ Jesus. Many Gentiles will face this time of testing. But only those in Christ will not have to go through this time.
“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Revelation 3:10).
CONCLUSION
“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:15-18).
All creation groans for redemption:
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body” (Romans 8:19-23).
When Jesus reigns over the earth in the thousand-year millennium:
“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:6-9).
