Hotovely on the BBC: Would you have sat quietly if London had been attacked? Tzipi Hotovely, Israel’s ambassador to the U.K., blasted the ‘Palestinian’ envoy to Britain after the envoy accused Israel of ethnic cleansing. Hotovely said, “I have never heard such hypocritical things. Jews and Arabs have lived side by side in Jerusalem for years. Those young Arab provocateurs are the ones who hurt this fabric. They are the ones who need to provide explanations as to why they are attacking innocent Jews in the city. Jerusalem is not a settlement, and Jews are not settlers in their country. The State of Israel gives Muslims full freedom of worship on the Temple Mount, but unfortunately, they took advantage of the holy site to launch a violent attack on innocent Israelis.”
The world refuses to see who the real enemies are. That’s because “the whole world lieth in wickedness” (1 John 5:19).
PUSH FOR A “NEW” UNITED EUROPE
Macron and the Conference on the Future of Europe. Summary from the article: The conference launched May 8 and concludes next spring – a “project largely conceived by [Emmanuel] Macron” and “his broader political ambitions.” He wants to “fill the leadership void left by Ms. Merkel who departs Europe’s political stage in September.” “His triumph largely depends on the public’s willingness to be part of a new Europe.” The Conference “could very well be the E.U.’s – and Macron’s – starting point.”
LAST DAYS CALLS FOR ‘PEACE’
Macron appeals to Abbas to help restore calm; urged “a return to peace” and “a decisive relaunch” of peace negotiations. French President Emmanuel Macron has spoken to ‘Palestinian’ President Mahmoud Abbas about the latest Mideast clashes and says he will speak soon with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as other regional leaders.
“For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
when there is no peace” (Jeremiah 6:13-14).
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-4).
