The Battle For America :: By Nathele Graham

America is about to vote for men to lead our nation. This is something that should never be taken lightly. Remember, it is God we must honor with our vote.

No man is perfect, but there are some who should never be trusted to lead a nation.

There is a spiritual battle raging for control of America, and Satan seems to be winning. There have been so many totally immoral leaders that it is shameful, and somehow, they all get a free pass from the press. JFK was a womanizer, as was Clinton, who disgraced the office of president and should be ashamed. Obama bowed to Muslims and brought into law things that are totally against God. Did any of these men repent and turn from their sin? Joe Biden? What a joke. I will never be persuaded to believe that he won the last election legally. I will also never believe that he is making decisions on his own without some very evil forces pulling his puppet strings.

Let me ask this question: Why should God bless America? The fact that any of those men have been elected is a very sad comment on the depths to which Americans have sunk morally. I know that there is a remnant Christian community, but we seem to be willing to give up our Constitutional rights while debased people speak out radically. We don’t want to judge. Using Scripture as our guide, opposing any lifestyle that is contrary to God isn’t judging; they are judging themselves. Why should we hold our silence while so many people are condemning themselves to eternal death while Christians stay silent?

Jesus loved everyone, but when a sexually promiscuous woman was brought before Him to be condemned, He showed compassion and love. He convicted her accusers, who left in disgrace, but she found forgiveness. After the religious hypocrites had left the scene in disgrace, Jesus asked her where her accusers were. “She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more” (John 8:11). She found forgiveness, just like you and I can be forgiven of our sin. There has to be true repentance, then we must go and sin no more. We must reach out to nonbelievers and help them come to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Can we stop sinning? Not on this side of Heaven, but Christians have found grace through Christ. That doesn’t mean we have a free pass to keep sinning. That woman was sexually sinning, and she had to stop. How many people reading this are in a sexual relationship that is not within a one man/one woman marriage? I’m not asking what you identify as because there are no gray areas. You are born male or female. Jesus, the Creator of all things, said, “But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female” (Mark 10:6). One of Satan’s most devious ways of destroying a nation is through sexual sin. Many nations throughout history have been destroyed because of immorality, and America is asking for destruction.

The nation of Israel has gone through many ups and downs in its history, and when Solomon became king, they were on the right path to greatness. Solomon followed King David, who had truly loved God. Solomon built the Temple and began to lead the nation into a good relationship with God. They began to honor God’s Law. At the dedication of the Temple, God spoke to Solomon and gave conditions for them to receive blessings. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

This was a directive to the Jewish people, but let me ask you: are you a Christian? Does that mean you are called by God’s name? Christian begins with Christ. Does that mean you need to honor Him in all things? Absolutely. Scripture cannot be twisted to condone a sin and still remain God’s word. God never changes. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of the same sin that is gripping America and, indeed, the entire world. God will judge.

America is not Israel, and the promises God made to Israel are not promised to America. Still, we can look to Israel as an example of how God blesses a nation that honors Him. King David was a God-fearing man. Not perfect, but when his sin was brought to his attention, he was broken over it. He didn’t make excuses but humbly went to God in repentance. “Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight; that thou mightiest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest” (Psalm 51:2-4).

David sinned, and nothing he could do would change that fact. He created a baby with a married woman, then made sure her husband, a very loyal soldier, was put in a battle where he would surely be killed. David’s sin was great. If he hadn’t turned to God and humbly bowed before Him in repentance, David would have died and been forgotten. As it turned out, David was the greatest king of Israel. Through his lineage, Jesus was born. What an honor! It needs to be noted, too, that the baby that was created from this sin wasn’t murdered (aborted). He was born but was very unhealthy and died. David was heartbroken. No baby should ever be murdered, another sin that America needs to repent over.

America has embraced so much sin that I wonder how God can ever forgive this once-Christian nation. He can, but we have to repent and turn from our sin. We cannot continue to sin and expect God’s blessing. Go back and read 2 Chronicles 7:14 and apply it. That was given to Israel as a nation, but we have to apply it individually. Non-believers cannot understand sin and repentance. When Christians embrace the same sins as non-believers, then we are the hypocrites. Christians must return to honoring God.

Another thing to consider when voting for a leader is how they feel about Israel. Make no mistake: God has never totally turned away from Israel. They have had to pay for their times of rebellion, but even when they rebel against Him, God’s promises to them are still there.

Israel is slowly coming back to God, and that’s a blessing. The atrocity of the attack in October 2023 was animalistic barbarianism. It never would have happened if America had a strong leader instead of a puppet. Israel has dealt with many terrorist attacks over the years, and it’s time those attacks were stopped. Unfortunately, the world sees Israel as the aggressor and opposes their right to protect and defend themselves. That shows how blind the world is to truth. God gave the land to Abraham. Forever. God also made a promise that He would bless those who bless Israel. “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3). Be sure you vote for a man who has a love for Israel.

There are many nations that once existed but openly embraced sin and mocked God. Do you ever hear about the nation of Edom? Their destruction is found in Jeremiah 49:17-22. Others are Assyria (Zephaniah 2:13-15); God sent Jonah to preach to Nineveh, and they repented but turned back to their evil ways and were destroyed; Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18:20); the Moabites (Zephaniah 2:8-10) and Philistines (Zephaniah 2:5). These nations were destroyed because of their treatment of Israel and their immoral lifestyles. America could be added to these nations that have been destroyed if we don’t turn back to God. Christians must honor God instead of following the ways of the world.

Daniel had a very interesting life. When he was young, he had been taken captive from Jerusalem to Babylon and eventually was promoted to be a very high-ranking official in that evil city filled with sin. Daniel never turned away from God, even though it meant being thrown to hungry lions. God gave Daniel many prophecies, and we need to pay attention to them. One that I find interesting is found in Daniel chapter 10. Daniel had been fasting and praying for three weeks. While he was by a river named Hiddekel, he saw something that scared him so badly that he collapsed. He saw an angel. “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words” (Daniel 10:12).

Maybe Christians should pay attention. Should we fast? Should we pray? Yes, we should (again, go back and read 2 Chronicles 7:14). Why didn’t help come when Daniel first started praying? Why did it take three weeks? “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia, Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days” (Daniel 10:13-14). This prophecy is for the final days and is for the Jewish people. God is not done with Israel, and the “church” has not replaced Israel.

Daniel didn’t give up praying. There’s an acronym I like P.U.S.H., which stands for “Pray Until Something Happens.” What was the “Prince of the Kingdom of Persia”? Was it a ruler, something like a vice president? It actually was/is a demon. It was a power behind the government. The Apostle Paul talks about spiritual warfare, names the spiritual enemies, and tells us how to fight. “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:11-12).

The prince (evil power) of Persia would be followed by the prince (evil power) of Grecia. These evil entities haven’t died out. Do you think that there is an evil “prince” of America? I do. As I watch this nation crumble because of sin and open rebellion against God, I’m convinced that there is an evil presence over America. I have been praying that God will break the power that is protecting the evil men and women who are destroying this nation. God is more powerful than any principality, power, or ruler of darkness, but God-fearing people need to humble themselves and pray.

There are ways for every Christian to take part in the battle for America. Prayer brought an answer to Daniel, and we need to earnestly pray. Daniel never stopped praying, and neither should we. Christians also need to stand firm on God’s truth. Don’t compromise your faith. Never be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ and the truth found there. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16). You may face persecution if you stand on God’s truth, but it’s better to honor God than Satan.

In America, we have fair elections, or we used to. We need to demand that only citizens are allowed to vote. If “we the people” keep silent and allow “them the tyrants” to continue their evil ways, then we are allowing Satan to win. Only God can make America great again, and we need His help.

There are people from many nations who will read this. I’m writing as an American citizen, but you need to apply this to your own country. Satan is the enemy of everybody, even those who think he’s on their side. When you read Revelation, you’ll be amazed at how close we are to the one world order and the beast system. It’s all very satanic. Don’t be fooled into believing lies. Pray. Pray for your strength to stand firm on Christ, and pray for America. The battle is raging.

God bless you all,

Nathele Graham

Don’t Be a Fool :: By Nathele Graham

“[[To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.]] The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good” (Psalm 14:1).

It seems that in this day and age, people go out of their way to deny God. There have always been people who cannot see the truth, and they have always made life difficult for true Christians.

Today, we have television and social media that promote all manner of sin and evil. The entertainment industry is an instrument of Satan and reaches most people with its message of evil. Children are sent to public school where they are indoctrinated into believing lies. It seems that only the Bible is forbidden. If a parent stands up and protests the choice of books in the school library, they are made to look like fools. Thank God there are parents who are brave enough to stand up and protest the filth being taught. Thank God for parents who are able to homeschool their children.

In many cases, pastors have dropped the ball. Instead of using God’s word as authority, many pastors have compromised truth and joined with the world. Instead of studying Scripture in seminary, psychological studies tell them how to run their congregations. Psychology does not bring salvation. All Scripture was directly spoken to the man who held the pen; it is directly from God. If you are ashamed to follow God’s teachings, then you need to take a hard look at your faith. Are you ashamed of Jesus Christ?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16). Paul wasn’t ashamed, and neither am I.

The Apostle Paul wrote God-breathed letters to the men whom he trusted to be pastors. He encouraged them in the ways of choosing leaders and how to deal with problems within the congregation. He never told these men to be more seeker-friendly or use psychology to build up the congregation. No name-it-and-claim-it lies or New Age heresy.

Timothy was one such pastor to receive letters. Paul encouraged him to stand firm in the faith. “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness, Fight the Good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses(1 Timothy 6:11-12).

These words should be burned upon the heart of every pastor. They should be burned upon the heart of every Christian.

Paul had a lot to say to Timothy that all pastors should pay attention to. “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life(1 Timothy 6:17-19).

That sort of shoots down the “name-it-and-claim-it” preachers and those who are getting rich from compromising God’s word to be “seeker-friendly.”

If God has blessed you with wealth in this world, be sure to use it for His glory. If He has not given you much money, praise Him. He has given you other blessings to be used for His glory.

Too many TV preachers or those who run very large churches all seem to encourage the listeners to “Get their best life now” and “Tell God what you want, and He will be sure you get it.” There’s nothing in this life that can come close to the eternal life we have with Jesus. That’s where our riches need to be stored. If you’ve been blessed with money in this life, look around you, and you’ll find brothers and sisters in Christ who have needs that you can help with. The kindness you show to fellow Christians in Christ’s name will be priceless when you step into eternity. If you aren’t so rich, you can share the Gospel with friends and family who haven’t yet come to salvation in Christ.

Timothy was young but was mentored by Paul, who encouraged him to stick to Scripture. “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called; which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen(1 Timothy 6:20-21).

Here’s where many, many pastors fail.

What is called “science” today is often opposed to Scripture. Scripture says. “In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the earth(Genesis 1:1). That’s fact. Here’s the fiction: Billions (or trillions) of years ago, nothing came together and created everything. Not only that but “science” has proved itself wrong. The discovery of DNA should have sent those who believe in evolution into Bible study to learn facts. Instead, they keep adding millions of years to evolution and pretend they have the answers. It amazes me how “science” keeps changing its “facts,” and people just keep believing their “…science falsely so-called.

So-called “science” is also trying to convince us that males can really be females, and females can really be males (only males carry the Y chromosome). This is a delusion that will only get worse as schools conspire to push the agenda of brainwashing young children. Here’s the truth as Jesus told the Pharisees:

But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh(Mark 10:6-8).

What a mess this world is in because humans are trying to corrupt God’s creation and deny His existence.

There are consequences to everything we do. Some are good, but some are bad. Sin brings bad consequences. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord(Romans 6:23).

Adam found out the hard way that disobedience to God brings death. His sin had huge consequences. Not only did it ruin his life, but it has affected every human being since then. God-breathed Scripture is very clear in telling us the consequences of sin. It’s death. That’s pretty blunt and leaves no “wiggle room.” Unfortunately, people keep on sinning. Do they not believe God? Do they think they are “special” and exempt from the wages of sin?

You have to be very stubborn to deny God. Trees just didn’t happen. Flowers didn’t just happen. Dogs and cats didn’t just happen. God created everything. We understand that a painting doesn’t just pop into existence; someone had to paint it, but we think that the amazing things in this world just happened. That is a strong delusion. Believing this fairytale has consequences.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things(Romans 1:21-23).

God will not be mocked. Don’t worship the earth or make idols of any created thing.

The wages of the sin of rejecting God as the Creator is seen all around us, even in Christian congregations. “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen(Romans 1:24-25).

God doesn’t want anybody to face eternal death, but if a person insists upon believing lies and rejecting the God of all creation, then they have chosen their own punishment for their choices. As a society, we have chosen to reject God and have to pay the penalty.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet [due]” (Romans 1:26-27).

God will always forgive the truly repentant person, but if you continue to reject Him and embrace sin, your wages are death.

You have to remember that God has given Scripture to teach us what He considers sin and how to turn from it. “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, convenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful(Romans 1:28-31).

That’s quite a list. Remember, these people are those who mocked and denied God, so why shouldn’t He turn them over to the wages of their own choices? You may smugly think that you don’t join in with the homosexual community, so you don’t have to worry about the wages of that sin. Think again. Do you happen to be a liberal “Christian” who thinks Scripture should be changed to keep up with modern times? Do you think it’s more important to be politically correct than Biblically correct? Are you so afraid of being accused of being judgmental that you invite those who embrace the homosexual agenda to be a part of your denomination?

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them(Romans 1:32).

Remember the judgment which God poured out on Sodom and Gomorrah? Brothers and sisters, we must stand firm upon God’s truth. Scripture will never change because God never changes.

If you choose to stand firm on God’s truth and against the way of the world, you will face persecution. Generations of strong Christians have faced persecution and were thrown to lions, boiled in oil, beheaded, and much more heinous means of torture. These martyrs are the true heroes of history. They put God above their own security.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you(John 15:18).

The world still hates Jesus, and more and more it seems as if “Christians” hate Him too. It might cost you a lot in order to reject worldly ways and follow Jesus. Friends and even family will make fun of you and may not want to be around you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you(John 15:19).

It’s Satan who is the ruler of this world, so if you follow worldly ways, you follow Satan. Don’t be a fool. Follow Jesus.

There is hope. Faith in Jesus Christ brings salvation. You must repent of your sin. Truly repent and turn from the sin that separates you from God. Remember, religion won’t save you. You can say all the hail Mary’s you want, but salvation comes by no other means than faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. No matter what denomination you belong to, you cannot be saved by sitting in a pew or just by being baptized. You must understand that you are a sinner, and only Christ can save you.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved(Acts 4:12).

So many of us are yearning for the Rapture, and it will happen soon. Why does God wait? Well, He may be waiting for you to come to saving faith. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance(2 Peter 3:9). Turn to Him now.

Whatever lifestyle you embrace now, repent, turn from your sin, and put your faith in Jesus. No sin is too big that Jesus won’t forgive you. The decision must be made on this side of Heaven. If you wait, death or the Rapture could happen at any moment, which will leave you to face Hell on Earth. Eternity is a long time to be thinking, “Oops.” Don’t be a fool.

God bless you all,

Nathele Graham
