We are in a very critical time in the history of the United States of America, a country based on Judeo-Christian values. One with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and also the freedom of speech. But since our values and morals have degraded to the extent that the United States is hardly recognizable from what it was only fifty years ago, it’s evident we are doomed to failure, and we should be concerned.
People who were once thought to be mentally unstable and a threat to our society were let out of mental institutions a few years back, and now, incredibly, we have the mentally unstable in charge of the county! Did you happen to see the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, starring Jack Nicholson? I guess they weren’t so dumb after all. How can a man who lies with another man be in his right mind? Or can a woman who proudly claims to be of American Indian heritage yet has less than 1% Indian blood in her whole body be in her right state of mind? And how can an obvious man claim to be a woman just by wearing a wig and using balloons for boobs? Whatever happened to people who were content or even happy to be what they were born to be?
At first, they were closeted, insecure individuals, and slowly but surely, they’ve come to be blatant and in your face about their extreme and vile sinfulness. Now, they are even so bold as to tell us that they want our children to be exploited. We can all see the havoc these perverts have caused in our once-normal society, where men were men and women were women. When I was in Hollywood chasing a career in movie acting, it was the first time I encountered such open deviousness. The corner periodicals were rife with sexual innuendo and open ads. “NAMBLA” was one of the first to openly display their agenda of Man/boy so-called love. Ugh. This aberration is a trampling of God’s laws underfoot.
Criminals run loose on the streets of America with no morals or concern for their fellow man. This is true throughout the world, and we are all paying the price for this behavior. Rain, the likes of which we’ve never seen, is flooding cities all over the world, destroying cities, crops, and human life. I reported about this for three full months recently, and now it’s happening again. It seems that God is cleansing mankind through these chastisements – not quite ready to mostly destroy humanity just yet. Even though he has in the past, as in the Great Flood. How else can he get our attention? Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are growing in number everywhere, yet people carry on as if nothing is happening.
Surely, this isn’t just a chastisement; it’s a fulfillment of biblical prophecy as well. Jesus spoke about it often. As did the Old Testament prophets as well as the New Testament Apostles. Everything they said would happen in the End Times is happening even as we speak. Yet, people everywhere are blind to the consequences of their actions. Last year’s “Burning Man” event was marred by monsoon rains, and this year, it was finished off by a stinging sandstorm with visibility nearly impossible and sand whipping the sunburned skin with a vengeance.
Louisiana and Texas will soon be subjected to a fierce storm that will eventually reach up into the center of the country and beyond. Meanwhile, storms are making their way north in both the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico, as well as the Pacific. We don’t often hear about the monsoons and storms in Asia, but rest assured, they are happening there as well – with major loss of life.
We Spirit-filled Christians aren’t necessarily afraid of these events but see them as the approaching deliverance that will be ours in the very near future. The rapture of the church. Those who hate God are shaking in their boots – as they should be – for all their vile sinfulness.

In the book The Case for Trump by Victor Davis Hanson, 2024 Edition, Victor speaks of the odd ways of former president Trump – a tireless warrior for the country even as he approaches eighty.
With energy abounding, he attacks his enemies with vigor and truth – at least at this point. They go running to their respective dark abodes, where they plan their next personal attacks. But thanks be to God, he can parry and thrust with the best of them.
You can bet that the presidential race will end in tragedy for some – maybe even death if the rhetoric isn’t toned down. Yet, for all our hoping, the inevitable will be unavoidable in the days running up to the election. So it’s best to arm ourselves with the unassailable word of God and his promises to care for those who love Him. Likewise, the well-entrenched Never Trumpers and backstabbers should tremble with fear of losing their often ill-gained jobs and positions – and are already leaving the political field of battle for fear of retribution should Trump win.
We, however, are not like them – demanding to impose their will on us. Instead, we pray for people like that to see the light, repent, and leave the rest of us alone to live in peace.
