Jan Markell is one of my favorite prophecy teachers.

She taught multitudes over hundreds of radio stations for many years.

On Dec. 30, 2025, Compass International posted an article by Jan titled, “Jan Markell’s Top 10 Prophecy Stories of 2025.”

Confused By The Rapture?

I am going to skip to Number 10.

  • My last point is to stress the supreme frustration that I must limit my observations to ten markers!
  • There are hundreds!
  • The world is rushing towards globalism.
  • Violence and lawlessness are the order of the day.
  • God’s timepiece, Israel, has enemies on seven sides!
  • All creation groans!
  • Islam is gaining ground.
  • So, the fact that things are all coming together—all falling into place—excites only a tiny remnant who will never grow weary of keeping their eyes on the sky!
  • If you are among them, hang in there.
  • He is coming soon.
  • As things continue to deteriorate, we may be left with only one hope—the blessed hope.
  • We are the convergence generation.

Jesus went to the Temple in Jerusalem for the last time.

He was leaving, and He would never go back, never teach there again.

His Disciples started pointing out the buildings there.

He told them there would not be one stone left upon another.

They went out to the Mount of Olives. He sat down, and His Disciples went to Him and asked, “When shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (age)?” (Matt. 24:1-3).

He taught them about many things, and then He said, “When ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matt. 24:33-34).

There will be a generation (the convergence generation) that will see all the things He said, and they will “know that it is near, even at the doors.”

Here are some recent current events that cause some to believe that this current generation is the convergence generation.

One, concerning the decline of America: on Jan. 1, 2026, on his first day in office, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani revoked all of the executive orders that his predecessor, Eric Adams, has issued since Sept. 26, 2024.

This included several executive orders that were designed to protect Jews.

Mamdani said, “I was elected as a Democratic socialist, and I will govern as a Democratic socialist. I will not abandon my principles for fear of being deemed radical.”

Two, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Jan. 2, 2026, Pres. Trump declared that the U.S. is “locked and loaded and ready to go” if Iran kills any more Iranian protestors.

(My Opinion: This is dangerous because it could move Russia, Turkey, and others to help Iran.)

Three, concerning the whole world seeing the bodies of the Two Witnesses lying in the street of Jerusalem at the middle of the Tribulation Period: Elon Musk’s SpaceX is hoping to put 42,000 satellites into orbit to provide Internet services to every square inch of planet Earth.

It was recently announced that Starlink put 165 satellites into orbit in 2025. They now have more than 9,300 active satellites in orbit, and they expect to increase the pace on launches in 2026.

Four, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of earthquakes at the end of the age: on Jan. 3, 2026, a 6.5 earthquake struck southern and central Mexico, killing two people, injuring at least 17 people, causing about 1,000 aftershocks, and causing widespread damage to roads, housing, and infrastructure.

Five, concerning the violence in Iran, on Jan. 6, 2026, it was reported that:

  • At least 36 people have been killed and more than 2,000 have been arrested during a week of demonstrations.
  • Analysts say Iran is facing a convergence of crises: renewed international sanctions over its nuclear program, acute water and electricity shortages, a looming recession forecast for 2026, and now a nationwide protest movement testing the regime’s grip on power.

(My comment: Iran is a curse to Israel, and God may be warning Iran to stop before His judgment falls harder in the Battle of Gog of Magog.)

(Update: On Jan. 6, 2026, Sen. Lindsey Graham told Fox News Pres. Trump would order the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, if he keeps killing protestors. In addition to that, it has been reported that Khamenei has made plans to flee to Russia with 20 other Iranians, if he thinks his life is in danger.).

Six, concerning the tracking of people in the U.S.: on Jan. 5, 2026, Worthy News reported that:

  • S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has dramatically expanded the use of mobile facial-recognition technology during Pres. Trump’s second term, allowing agents to identify suspected illegal immigrants within seconds and accelerating enforcement operations.
  • The technology, known as Mobile Fortify, enables ICE officers to photograph a suspect with a smartphone and instantly verify identity and immigration status through multiple government databases.

Seven, concerning the controversy over Jerusalem and the future capital of a Palestinian state in East Jerusalem: on Jan. 6, 2026, Israel started taking bids (with a Mar. 16, 2026 deadline) for the construction of 3,401 homes near Jerusalem.

A few Israeli officials believe populating this area with Jewish homes will kill the idea of a future capital of a Palestinian state in East Jerusalem, and it has been opposed by Palestinians, Arabs, the EU, the U.S., and most of the so-called international community for decades.

When the bids end on Mar. 16, 2026, the construction will begin, and it will become irreversible by Israeli law.

Eight, concerning the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel: on Jan. 7. 2026, the Prime Min. of the tiny island nation of Samoa said his nation will open an embassy in Jerusalem this year.

Nine, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Jan. 7, 2026, the U.S. seized two more sanctioned Venezuelan oil tankers.

One of the tankers was operating under a Russian flag and traveling from Iran toward Venezuela.

Russia immediately condemned the seizure, accused the U.S. of violating international law, and demanded the immediate release of the Russian crew.

Ten, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Jan. 7, 2026, it was reported that Pres. Trump has notified Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu that he plans to go ahead with Phase II of his 20-Point Peace Plan despite the fact that Hamas has still not released the body of one of the hostages.

Trump says he remains committed to the release of the body, but he will not hold up his plan for that.

Netanyahu opposes the start of Phase II before the body is released.

Hamas agreed to release all hostages and disarm, and Israel is demanding that Hamas be required to do that.

Trump also intends to announce the makeup of his Board of Peace (BoP) next week.

Eleven, concerning Trump’s negotiated ceasefire between Hamas and Israel: on Jan 8, 2026, Hamas violated the agreement (the second violation in 24 hours) by firing a rocket from Gaza-controlled territory into Israel.

Twelve, concerning a UN wannabe world government: on Jan. 7, 2026, Pres. Trump signed a sweeping presidential memorandum directing the U.S. to withdraw from 66 international organizations, including 31 entities tied to the United Nations, in a major escalation of his “America First” agenda.

Trump also ordered all executive departments and agencies to immediately stop participating in the funding of these organizations.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Who Needs God in an Age of Artificial Intelligence? :: By Jan Markell

Most people have no idea what’s coming. In fact, what is here now. Very few people comprehend the level of mischief and evil that surrounds what is called artificial intelligence (A.I.). It is paving the way for a robot Messiah.

I wrote an article several years ago about this, but when talking about advancing technology, just a few years is a lifetime. Back in 2018, I began to read that people would even form a church that worshiped an A.I. god.

A Billion Times Smarter Than Humans? Really?

I was learning that he who created and mastered A.I. would rule the world. That sounds very Antichrist-esque. Imagine such evil in the hands of ultimate evil? What a convenient tool to run the Antichrist’s last days’ empire. Just as the Nazis needed the IBM punch card system, the “man of sin” will need the genius of artificial intelligence.

I began watching some online videos of A.I. robots who look human and who “think.” They answer questions and seem to process real thoughts. By now, we have all learned of the robot Sophia. This A.I.-driven monster is attractive, clothed, looks you in the eye, and answers your questions.

She can be your friend, companion, problem solver, and perhaps someday, your spouse. At the very least, she will run your errands and put away your groceries. In the wrong hands, she will be dangerous.

Developers say these A.I. robots will solve all of society’s problems. These men also say that they believe that it is possible for artificial intelligence to be a billion times smarter than humans. Try to process that. To be honest, I am puzzled why God would even allow that, and it may be one reason He nearly destroys the earth before His Second Coming.

Are We Summoning Demons?

Many are warning that with A.I., we are playing with fire and that in the end, machines will win! Others say we are summoning up demons.

Most recently, I am learning that people are going to talk to the dead through A.I. “griefbots.” It just doesn’t get any stranger.

A new report reveals how artificial intelligence programs will advise terrorists how to attack a sports venue, buy nuclear material on the dark web, buy spyware, bombs, and more. Jihadists will use A.I. to plan attacks and map targets. Who could have envisioned this back on 9/11? We’ve come a long way, sadly.

Talk about the abuse of power.

A.I. Is Actively Watching and Listening

Maybe this new religion isn’t the promise of paradise after all. Some promoting A.I. are evangelists, and some of them offer a new Promised Land. But some of the very movers and shakers of the artificial intelligence industry are sounding serious warnings.

And this is not the wave of the future today, as it is all being employed now! Outfits like Google have every bit of information on us they need. They have all our vitals and can weaponize such information in this age of A.I. Google admits that they want to be like the mind of God and suggests they will be “godlike” as they grab bundles of data from us. It is watching us and listening to us.

There is a “home invasion” going on by the world of technology and A.I. If you think you have any privacy, think again. To say we are being monitored is not sensationalism. It is not kooky conspiracy language. Don’t brush this off as silliness. Welcome to the brave new world.

Who Needs God in an Age of Artificial Intelligence?

Young people are particularly drawn to artificial intelligence. Some of them will tell you that they can get an answer more quickly from a search engine or Alexa than they can get from God. Who needs God in an age of artificial intelligence? A.I. is almost all-knowing. And these technologies will tell you what you want to hear in technicolor, 3-D, and in an instant.

Very likely, A.I. will manage the Antichrist agenda, such as all buying and selling. Mankind will almost become a useful idiot of this kind of last days’ technology. People will think God has been outsmarted. Deception will rule. All of this gives new meaning to the term “big brother.”

Younger people are cheering for these technological advancements. They are falling into a terrible trap if they do not have a biblical worldview. They are welcoming evil with open arms. Once they figure this out, it will be too late.

A.I. Is Fearfully Fraudulent

But remember, A.I. cannot speak anything into existence or give anyone eternal life. It cannot give anyone comfort, guidance, or offer anyone peace or hope. It cannot still the wind or calm the sea. It is more like Frankenstein than like God. It is trying to be like God but will fall far short! We are fearfully and wonderfully made. A.I. is fearfully fraudulent.

Another End Times Accelerant

There is no way a computer can do anything but copy what it has been taught, and there is something about the human spirit that can never be created by a machine. Yet, I agree with Dr. Mark Hitchcock, who says that artificial intelligence is a major “end times accelerant.”

Like the re-birth of Israel, it is a profound end-time marker. It would behoove every Christian to better understand it and its last days role. We can’t stop this train. We can pray for the rapture of believers, which will remove us from this Alice in Wonderland, bizarre, invasive world.

Stay ahead of the game and become informed. Events of the Tribulation are casting a shadow today. The shout and the trumpet are close. He is coming soon!

When the Wisdom of the Creator Rules!

God sits in the Heavens and laughs at these people (Psalm 2). He has the final say. He has the last word! The Bible says God will crush the agenda of the Antichrist and rule the world from Jerusalem for one thousand years. During that time, there will be no need for artificial intelligence. We will have the wisdom of the creator of the universe in charge.
