Biden-Harris Authorize Lethal Military Force Against Citizens :: By Bill Wilson

The Biden-Harris Administration, while railing on Donald Trump with false accusations of being a fascist, issued on September 27 DOD Directive 5240.1, which establishes the legal framework for the US military to conduct spying operations and use lethal force against US citizens in cooperation with local governments and law enforcement.

In an October 23 CNN Town Hall, Kamala Harris went on a diatribe claiming Trump was a fascist, wanted a military loyal to him, admires Hitler, and would use the military to punish those who disagree with his ideology. But, in a historical example of projection, Harris has helped put those very powers into the hands of the politically appointed Secretary of Defense.

Key to this edict is Section 3.3 Paragraph 1.c:

“Assistance in responding with assets with potential for lethality, or any situation in which it is reasonably foreseeable that providing the requested assistance may involve the use of force that is likely to result in lethal force, including death or serious bodily injury. It also includes all support to civilian law enforcement officials in situations where a confrontation between civilian law enforcement and civilian individuals or groups is reasonably anticipated.”

This directive also outlines the procedures for the government contracting organizations and local law enforcement to spy on Americans.

Harris told reporters:

“…that while Donald Trump was president, he said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler had. Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally, one that will obey his orders, even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States.”

She also talked about Trump’s definition of the “enemy within”:

“Let’s be clear about who he considers to be the enemy from within. Anyone who refuses to bend a knee or dares to criticize him would qualify, in his mind, as the enemy within, like judges, like journalists, like nonpartisan election officials.”

Isn’t this what Democrats have been saying about those who disagree with them?

Harris is accusing Trump of exactly what she has supported in the Biden-Harris Administration. Throughout the campaign season, Harris, Biden, and a host of other Democratic Party leaders have characterized Trump and anyone who would support him as fascists, threats to democracy, extreme and dangerous. Yet they are the very ones who are taking action to use force against those who disagree with their agenda.

Looking ahead, what will this mean if they cheat the vote and people object or go against them in any way? It is more than soft tyranny.

Galatians 5:1 exhorts us to “Standfast, therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free.”

Now is the time for Christians to stand, and having done all, to stand.

Trusting God’s Control in a Chaotic World :: By Steven Pace

“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes” (Proverbs 21:1 NASB 95).

In nature, rivers flow with a determined path, shaped by the landscape, yet are subject to change. For example, an earthquake can alter the landscape, causing a river to change direction. There are also man-made causes, such as the Chicago River, whose flow was intentionally reversed in 1900 to improve the water quality. Throughout the Bible we are reminded of a similar truth: the Lord holds the hearts of kings and leaders, directing their decisions as effortlessly as He might turn the flow of a river. No authority on earth is beyond His reach, and no ruler is too powerful to not be guided by His sovereign hand.

Solomon wrote in Proverbs 21:1 that the Lord can cause the hearts of kings and world leaders to accomplish His purposes. While world leaders may make plans, the Lord is providentially and sovereignly ruling over them. More specifically, it is the Lord who is in control in a world that may, at times, seem out of control. This should encourage the Lord’s people, who may forget who really controls the world.

“Just as ancient farmers open and closed water gates to control the flow of irrigation, so God’s sovereign will directs kings.”[1]

There are several examples in the Bible of this truth. After 70 years in exile, the Lord caused the heart of the Persian king Cyrus to allow the Jews to return to Jerusalem to begin the rebuilding process, as seen in Ezra 1:1. This is a picture seen often in scripture where world leaders think they are in control while God, in fact, is ruling over them. [2] Like an earthquake causes a river to change its flow, so too can the Lord change the direction of world leaders to accomplish His purposes.

“Consider the census of Caesar Augustus which caused Mary’s baby to be born in Bethlehem. God is in control.” [3]

As seen throughout human history, God is in control of the rulers and nations. When we see a world that appears in chaos, we should stop and remember this important truth. The Lord is bringing about all the purposes of His perfect will. He calls on us to trust and walk faithfully as He accomplishes each and every one of them.

“In Him we also have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will” (Ephesians 1:11 NASB 95).
