The Signs Are Piling Up :: By Daymond Duck

On Nov. 12, 2024, John Bellam posted an interesting article about the final prophetic pieces in the Bible.

Here is just one paragraph of his article that I think many of you would find interesting too.

Bellam said,

  • The signs are piling up as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is about to return.
  • No, we cannot know the hour or day of the Lord’s return, but we are growing more and more knowledgeable every day it seems as to the accuracy of scripture and the meaning of signs.
  • Could we be wrong? Certainly, God can do what He pleases, and if He chooses to delay fulfillment, then He has total sovereign prerogative to do so.
  • But it is His nature to lead His people to understanding as they search out His Word.
  • And if He expects His followers to accurately preach, accurately teach, and accurately interpret things like prophecies and tongues, He Himself would even more so be faithful to not give all the signs of His Son’s coming to His people and then pull the rug out from under them and leave them confused as to what the signs even mean.
  • We can only conclude that Jesus is coming very soon, and the window of the grace age is about to close.
  • I believe the signs are clear! And the sound of the last trump will also be clear!

Here is a link to the entire article for those that would like to check it out:

Here are recent events that cause prophecy teachers to believe the signs are piling up.

One, concerning the rain returning to Israel at the end of the age: on Nov. 20, 2024, part of Israel received its heaviest downpour of rain in history (7.72 inches in 4 hours).

One report said, “Severe flooding impacted multiple regions, including Haifa and Hof HaCarmel, leading to blocked highways, submerged vehicles, and early school closures.”

Two, concerning Israel having a great army at the end of the age: on Nov. 18, 2024, Prime Min. Netanyahu addressed the Knesset and said,

  • The U.S. had reservations about us entering Gaza.
  • The U.S. had reservations about us entering Gaza city.
  • The U.S. had reservations about us entering Khan Younis.
  • The U.S. strongly opposed us entering Rafah.
  • Biden told us if we entered Rafah, we would be alone, and he would stop shipping important weapons to us.
  • Biden warned us not to respond to two direct attacks by Iran.

Last March, Jewish Rabbi Pesach Wolicki wrote,

  • While a public disagreement with the United States is always concerning in the short term, Israel’s defiance is encouraging.
  • The Jewish people may be living in their land, but if they are dominated or controlled by other nations, they are not free and remain in ‘exile.’
  • By this measure, yielding to US pressure and altering the course of the conflict in a manner favorable to Israel’s enemies would prolong the Jewish people’s exile, perpetuate their subjugation to foreign powers, and delay the arrival of the Messiah.
  • But if Israel can stand strong and continue to defy the United States, this moment of defiance will mark a new stage in the redemption of the world.
  • When Israel finally learns to place its trust in God and no longer relies upon America, the European Union, or the corrupt United Nations, God’s people will become the light unto the nations they are destined to be.
  • The peoples of the world will be drawn to Israel and emulate her ways, which will lead them to abandon their idols and call on the name of the Lord.

In many ways, Israel has been standing up to the U.S., EU, and UN.

And Israel’s “great army” has had many impressive victories.

If the Jews will trust God, no weapon formed against them will prosper.

Three, concerning hatred for Israel in the U.S. at the end of the age (Zech. 12:2-3): on Nov. 21, 2024, it was reported that a survey of 25 higher education institutions in the U.S. documented a 3,000% increase in antisemitic reports in 2024 compared to 2023.

Four, concerning hatred for Israel in Canada at the end of the age: an estimated 85,000 students on 13 university campuses in Quebec went on strike on Nov. 21and 22 to demand divestment from Israel, to call for an intifada against Israel, and a final solution (death to Israel and the Jews).

Five, concerning global hatred for Israel and a lawless world government during the Tribulation Period: on Nov. 21, 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Min. Gallant over the war in Gaza that places these men at risk of being detained in 124 nations that recognize the ICC.

  • A U.S. National Security Council spokesperson said the U.S. fundamentally rejects the decision.
  • S. Sen. Lindsey Graham called the ICC a dangerous joke.
  • S. Sen. Tom Cotton called the ICC a kangaroo court and Karim Khan (the ICC prosecutor) is a deranged fanatic.
  • S. Rep. Michael Waltz said the ICC has no credibility.
  • House Whip Tom Emmer called the ICC a pro-terrorist, illegitimate court.
  • Republicans are threatening to take strong action against the ICC when they become the majority party in the House and Senate.
  • Franklin Graham said, the International Criminal Court in The Hague, instead of standing as a bastion of justice, has devolved into a stage for hypocrisy and cowardice.

(More: On Nov. 25, 2024, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested that the U.S. should sanction any nation or group that aids and abets the ICC after the court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant.)

(My opinion: The ICC is a step toward world government. Globalists established the ICC – and other global institutions – because they want a world government that has authority over nations and everyone on earth including the leaders of nations. If national leaders keep supporting the globalist goals, they will eventually lose their national sovereignty, and the Antichrist will reign over them.)

(My opinion: I believe the restrainer – Holy Spirit indwelt Church – is preventing the rise of the Antichrist and his Satanic world government. I believe the Church will be Raptured, and then the Antichrist will arise. The signs are piling up, and two important questions are: 1) How close are we to the Rapture, and 2) How much time will pass between the Rapture and the rise of the Antichrist?)

(More: Two more important questions are: 1) Is Trump’s MAGA presidency going to delay the rise of world government, or 2) Is it going to speed up a covenant of peace by many, and thereby, speed up the rise of the confirmation by the Antichrist? The signs are piling up fast, and everything could change in the twinkling of an eye.)

Six, concerning Israel expanding its borders at the end of the age: on Nov. 20, 2024, following 4 days of meetings with U.S. congressmen and Senators in Washington, the Israeli head of the Samarian Council returned to Israel and said,

  • Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and our dear friends and ministers, the ball is in your court. You can exercise sovereignty (over Judea and Samaria) as soon as the Trump administration takes office.

Seven, concerning Israel being surrounded by enemies at the end of the age, on Nov. 21, 2024, it was reported that the U.S. warned Iraq to stop Iranian-backed terrorists from attacking Israel with missiles and drones from Iraqi territory.

If Iraq doesn’t stop them, Israel will start attacking targets in Iraq.

Eight, concerning antisemitism and hatred for Jews: Rabbi Zivi Kogan went missing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Nov. 21, 2024.

His body was found 3 days later (on Nov. 24, 2024).

On Nov. 24, 2024, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel would bring his killers and their handlers to justice.

This appears to be a threat to Iran and/or the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Three men have been arrested in the UAE and Iran is denying any involvement.

Nine, concerning the return of Jews from all over the world at the end of the age: on Nov. 27, 2024, it was reported that Israel’s nascent (just beginning, budding, developing) Sanhedrin in Jerusalem has issued a call for the Jews all over the world to come home.

The ruling is Biblical but not mandatory.

Nevertheless, the Sanhedrin believes that many will answer the call because of the antisemitism they are facing where they are.

Ten, concerning wars and rumors of wars and the prophesied use of nuclear weapons during the Tribulation Period: on Nov. 21, 2024, Russia’s Pres. Vladimir Putin said Russia fired a new intermediate-range intercontinental missile toward Ukraine in response to the U.S. and UK giving Ukraine permission to fire U.S. and UK long-range missiles deep into Russia.

Russia claims that its new missile can carry nuclear warheads, and the war could spread and involve more nations.

Several western nations are now urging their citizens to prepare a shelter for war and to have a 3–4-day supply of food and water and to have an extra supply of batteries for lights, radios, and mobile phones.

(More: On Nov. 24, 2024, it was reported that rising tension with Russia has led to Germany preparing a list of underground bunkers and shelters that citizens can use in case of an emergency. A date for release of the list has not been set, but Germany is also planning to encourage citizens to create protective shelters in their homes.)

Eleven, concerning America’s massive debt and a possible economic collapse: President-elect Donald Trump has asked Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to run a new department called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Musk and Ramaswamy believe America’s entrenched and ever-growing bureaucracy represents an existential threat to our republic, and our politicians have allowed it to happen for too long.

Their goal is to cut government spending by $500 billion per year that was not authorized by Congress or is being spent in ways that Congress didn’t approve.

They hope to accomplish their goal and dissolve the DOGE by July 4, 2026 (America’s 250th birthday).

Twelve, concerning the destruction of Damascus in one night, and the Battle of Gog and Magog (Russia, Iran, Turkey, and others attacking Israel from the north in the latter days and latter years, and being destroyed by God on the mountains of Israel): on Nov. 24, 2024, i24news reported that,

  • Iran is toying with the idea of attacking Israel from the Golan Heights, a mountain range in the north.
  • An attack is already in the planning stage, and it has been discussed in meetings in Damascus (Syria) and Tehran (Iran).
  • There is concern that Israel might attack Damascus if they try to carry out their plan.
  • This is an old plan that Damascus and Tehran temporarily considered and abandoned, but they are now considering it again.

(My opinion: This report fits Bible prophecy like a glove. It is unreal, but it will happen. And it will change the world.)

Thirteen, concerning the U.S. economy (a collapse of the U.S. economy could trigger a global economic collapse): on Nov. 24, 2024, it was reported that America’s Gross National Debt has topped 36 trillion dollars.

According to the report, the Trump administration and incoming members of Congress will face many major problems in an effort to bring it under control.

Fourteen, on Nov. 26, 2024, Israel agreed to a 60-day truce that would go into effect at 10 am the next morning.

  • Israel agreed to gradually withdraw from south of the Litani River in Lebanon, Hezbollah agreed to withdraw to the north of the River (about 18 miles north of the Israel-Lebanon border), and the Lebanese forces agreed to gradually take over the abandoned area.
  • An oversite committee including the U.S., France, UNIFIL, Lebanon and Israel have agreed to monitor the situation and to deal with violations.
  • Israel warned Hezbollah and notified the oversite committee that Israel will attack them if Hezbollah violates the ceasefire.
  • The two sides will start negotiations for a permanent ceasefire.

(My opinion: I cannot predict the future, but most Muslims believe it is okay to lie if it advances their cause, and it is rare that militant groups like Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestinians keep their agreements. They view ceasefires as a pause to rebuild their forces and prepare for another attack in the future. Israel sees this ceasefire as an opportunity to focus on the Iranian threat.)

(More: On Nov. 27, 2024, it was reported that Lebanese citizens have already started streaming home even though the Lebanese government and Israel clearly told them to wait until they are told it is safe. Hezbollah terrorists are embedded with the returning citizens, and Israel is arresting or shooting suspected terrorists.)

Fifteen, on Nov. 27, 2024, it was reported that Hezbollah’s ceasefire means it won’t be helping Hamas. Hamas has responded by saying, “We have informed mediators in Egypt, Qatar and Turkey that Hamas is ready for a ceasefire agreement and a serious deal to exchange prisoners.”

Here is my daily update on the Israel-Hamas war.

Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024 (Day 411) The three hundred and fifty-sixth day of the resumed war. Day 189 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israel killed 5 Palestinian terrorists, captured 7 suspects, a lot of equipment and weapons, and destroyed a terrorist bomb-production lab.

Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 (Day 412) The three hundred and fifty-seventh day of the resumed war. Day 190 of the attack on Rafah.

  • In response to the ICC issuing arrest warrants for 2 Israeli officials, Israel’s Foreign Min. called the decision a moral deficiency that turns good into bad and serves evil.

Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, (day 413) The three hundred and fifty-eighth day of the resumed war. Day 191 of the attack on Rafah.

  • In response to the ICC issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu and Defense Min. Gallant, Netanyahu said, no war is more just than the war that Israel has been waging in Gaza after Hamas attacked us—unprovoked—launching the worst massacre against the Jewish People since the holocaust.

Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 (day 414), The three hundred and fifty-ninth day of the resumed war. Day 192 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Hamas said one of the female hostages was killed in an area that Israel was attacking.

Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024 (day 415), The three hundred and sixtieth day of the resumed war. Day 193 of the attack on Rafah.

Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 (day 417), The three hundred and sixty-second day of the resumed war. Day 195 of the attack on Rafah.

  • Israeli soldiers reached the Litani River in Lebanon. They captured dozens of rocket launchers, thousands of rockets and missiles, destroyed several weapons storage facilities, and more.
  • Israel assassinated a Hezbollah commander near Tyre, Lebanon.
  • Israel announced that it is designing and planning to build a security barrier on its border with Jordan.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Look Back, But Don’t Go Back :: By Nathele Graham

God gives us many lessons we need to learn, and many of those lessons can be learned by studying the lives of the people in Scripture. In fact, He tells us to learn from the past.

The New Testament is full of reminders from the Old Testament of how God dealt with Israel. We can be certain that Genesis is the true story of Creation, and in the Gospel of John, we are told who did the creating. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:1-3).

Was the Word Jesus? Yes. We just need to read a little more in this chapter to see that clearly. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).

Jesus was the Creator, and by looking back to Genesis and forward to the New Testament, we can be sure of the truth. Paul even describes very graphically in Romans chapter 1 the consequences of rejecting God as the Creator. I suggest you read and study that chapter and pay attention.

Many prophecies are quoted in the Gospels to prove Jesus is the Messiah. These come from Isaiah, Zechariah, Ezekiel, and more. The Disciples were Jewish, so they were familiar with what we call the Old Testament. They would easily be able to understand the references to Jesus in various prophecies.

The New Testament contains many, many references to the Old Testament, so that tells us that we need to study both Old and New Testaments. The writer of Hebrews dedicates an entire chapter to some important people in the Old Testament. Chapter 11 is called the “Hall of Faith” and lists some very amazing people who served God, even when they made mistakes. It would be a very good idea to study each one listed and see how God used them in spite of their weaknesses.

The first one named in Chapter 11 is Abel. He offered a sacrifice that was acceptable to the Lord. Cain, on the other hand, offered an unacceptable offering. “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh” (Hebrews 11:4).

By looking back, we can learn that God wants our best. When we give our best to God, we have a clear conscience before the Lord. In whatever situation we find ourselves, we need to give Him our best. Look back at Abel and see that he honored God by obeying Him. Instead of giving God what is easy for us, give God what pleases Him. Instead of “sacrificing” an hour to Him on Sunday, give Him your life.

Next, we find out about Enoch who shows us the first picture of the rapture in Scripture. We learn from Enoch that it’s never too late to give our life to God. “And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him” (Genesis 5:21-24).

In Hebrews, we read that Enoch was “translated.” “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God” (Hebrews 11:5). He was taken by God prior to God’s judgment of destruction coming by the flood. All flesh was destroyed except for Noah and his family. By looking back to Enoch, we can understand that by faith, Enoch was taken by God prior to judgment. Faith is how we please God.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).

Brothers and sisters, have faith. Unshakable faith that honors God in all things. If you haven’t put your faith in Christ, do that now, and don’t put it off. You don’t need a big flashy ceremony or a pastor to grill you in the tenants of their own denomination. Just faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Be like Enoch and walk with Him all the days you have left in this world. If you choose to accept His shed blood for salvation, then give Him a sacrifice that honors Him. Be like Abel and sacrifice what God desires, not what’s easy for you as Cain did.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).

A living sacrifice? What could that mean? It means we set aside our own carnal lusts and desires and live for Christ. “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart(Psalm 37:4).

Seek the Lord with all your heart, and you will find that your desires change. You’ll desire to know Him better and study Scripture. You’ll begin to apply Scripture to your life. You’ll follow the example of Abel who gave a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. You may even find yourself studying prophecy.

Yes, prophecy is a huge part of Scripture, and if God thinks it’s important to tell us what to look for, then it’s important that we pay attention. We do that by looking back into the Old Testament and studying. If you look back into the Old and New Testaments, you’ll find many, many prophecies that have been fulfilled, but many that are unfolding today.

This world is a very dark and evil place to live, but prophecy shines a light on world events and tells us that God isn’t surprised by the way things are going. Through faith in Jesus, Christians have the Blessed Hope of being taken Home prior to God’s final judgment on the unbelieving world. The Apostle Peter understood this. “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19).

Unless you study prophecy, you’ll be confused and maybe frightened by much of what you see happening in the world. Russia and Ukraine are at war, but it seems as if that war will help Russia move into the Middle East to support Iran against Israel. Study Ezekiel to understand that one.

On October 7, 2023, Israel was viciously attacked and fought back, but the world seems to be against them. Why? God called Abraham away from his pagan life of idol worship and promised that a great nation would come from him. God is true to His word, and the nation of Israel was indeed the result of God’s promise to Abraham. God also promised blessings on whoever blesses Abraham and, by default, Israel. “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3). Because Israel is God’s chosen people, many people in this world are jealous and despise Israel. Just like a child who thinks a sibling gets more love from their parent. It’s important to pray for Israel.

We also learn that there are times when looking back was the wrong thing to do. When talking to His disciples about the end of the age, Jesus spoke of Lot. He told how Lot lived in Sodom when God’s judgment was upon that city. Sodom was a very evil city filled with sin. Much like today, nobody was very upset by the evil, and they just went about business as usual. They were “woke,” but judgment was upon them. God sent two angels to take Lot and his family away from the evil prior to judgment. When the angels arrived in Sodom, the men desired to have sexual relations with them, but Lot stood in their way.

Lot and his family had to leave in a hurry, but his sons-in-law laughed at him and chose to stay amidst the evil. “And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city” (Genesis 19:16).

Again, this is a picture of the rapture. The angels couldn’t bring the destruction until Lot and his family were out of danger. They urged the family to run fast and not look back. Lot’s wife did the unthinkable. “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt” (Genesis 19:26). Why did she look back? Was she just curious, or did she want one last look at the home she loved? Whatever her reason, she disobeyed and paid the price. When we come to salvation through Christ, we need to move forward in our new life instead of looking back and desiring to return to old sins.

Another example of when not to look back is found in Nineveh. This was a very violent and wicked place, and God was going to destroy them but sent Jonah to witness to them. Jonah wasn’t a willing witness, but the people and leaders of Nineveh did repent and were spared the destruction they deserved. This puts me in mind of America and the judgment we faced in our last election. The evil found here is the same as found in Sodom and can be compared to the time before the Flood of Noah. American Christians prayed, and God had mercy. The Liberal agenda has been delayed.

What happened to Nineveh? Their judgment was delayed, but they looked back and returned to their wickedness. About 100 years after they repented, they were destroyed because they returned to their wicked ways. Christians must continue to pray and give God our best. We must teach our children and grandchildren to honor God. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Christians are called by the name of Christ. We must stand strong in our service to God. We must demand that public schools stop teaching Satan’s ways, and we must demand that our pastors teach God’s truth. We must not look back and return to the wicked ways that will bring destruction.

There are many lessons to be learned as we study Scripture. We learn that obedience to God makes a difference. It doesn’t always smooth the road we must follow, but the result of obedience is always a blessing.

If you haven’t yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, do it now. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain. Eternity is a long time to live by your choices. If you have accepted Christ for salvation, then obey His command. Follow Him. Leave the sinful life of disobedience. Study to learn how all of the people mentioned in Scripture served God in spite of their weaknesses. Look back and learn, but “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:32). That’s good advice from Jesus. Obey and serve God with joy.

Should we look back? Yes, but not with a desire to return to the sins of the past which bring destruction. Look back with thanksgiving that God, in His mercy, has given grace and mercy when He rightfully could have given judgment and destruction instead. Look back, but don’t go back.

God bless you all
