Trump’s Unforced Error :: By The Gospelist

Many of us are watching with glee as President Trump dismantles the corrupt ‘Deep State’ that is responsible for the decline of the nation.  All their wasteful deficit spending is being exposed and eliminated.

He recognized that there is no such thing as a ‘Transgender’ and removed this nonsense from the federal government.  He has hit the crooked ICC (International Court of Criminals) with sanctions for their belief that they have the power to incarcerate citizens of other countries for daring to act in self-defense.

And he has removed us from the UN’s oppressive green agenda.

President Trump is a brilliant, no-nonsense businessman, and he is tough as nails.  The ‘Deep State’ made him even tougher with all its wicked schemes meant to destroy him politically and physically.

There is no power except that which God has established. There is no question that God established President Trump, and all the wicked schemes of the Godless Democrats were not going to thwart his will.

Unfortunately, President Trump is not a theologian.  He sees things from a worldly perspective.  He chooses people who are brilliant and capable, but, in the end, many are deluded spiritually.

God uses some people for noble purposes (salvation and eternal life) and some for common use. Those who disdain the Gospel are for common use.

According to Naomi Katz of Israel News, President Trump has appointed “Staunch Pro-Israel ‘Pastor’ Paula White to Lead New White House Faith Office.”  She is going to advise him and the nation on ‘spiritual matters.’

Big mistake.

To begin, ‘Pastor’ Paula White is in complete rebellion against God.  Just as there is no such thing as a ‘Transgender,’ there is no such thing as a female Pastor in Christ’s church.

The Apostle Paul went so far as to decree that those who do not understand this will be ignored by God (I Corinthians 14:33-38).  The last thing any President needs is to be ignored by God, especially one who has survived two assassination attempts.

Although Paul’s admonition only applies to the church and not the White House ‘Faith Office,’ it is really a bad idea to make someone a ‘faith advisor’ who has no respect for the Christian faith.  Paula White is not qualified to fill this position, and as she continues to annoy God, God will become annoyed with those who take her spiritual advice.

President Trump’s reasons for choosing Paula are:

  1. She is so amazing.
  2. She has been staunchly pro-Israel since October 7th, 2023.
  3. Rabbi Tuly Weisz was thrilled at her appointment.
  4. She will bring faith back to America while demonstrating a genuine love for Israel and the Jewish people.

According to Naomi Katz, “Pastor Paula felt that God wanted her to reconnect with Israel before the US presidential campaign got into full swing.”  She thought it was very important for her to visit the Temple Mount and “draw upon the holiness there.”

I would like to assure Pastor Paula that the only thing God wants from her is to repent.

I suppose now that she has ‘absorbed the holiness’ of the Temple Mount, she is ready to perform some great deed that she imagines God has assigned to her.  The doctrine of ‘Absorbing Holiness’ is not found in the Bible, so she really needs to explain how that works.

On the other hand, she should not bother explaining herself since this is nothing more than mysticism, which is forbidden in Scripture.

I will not delve too deeply into Paula’s theology because it is a waste of time.  The following non-exhaustive list should be sufficient to disqualify her as a woman of God.

  1. She claims to interact with God through sources other than the Bible. (This always ends up in taking the Lord’s name in vain by claiming God said something he did not say.)
  2. She preaches the prosperity gospel, which is no gospel at all. (The Apostle Paul warned us that such false teachers are ‘anathema.’)
  3. She claims to have traveled to the throne of God and received the ‘mantle’ of authority and God’s blessing. (That’s just plain grandiose narcissism.)
  4. She has reportedly prayed for miscarriages for satanic pregnancies. (There is no such thing as a satanic pregnancy.)

If we want the Godless Democrats to take over in 2028, appointing people like Paula to the White House Faith Office is a great way to ensure that happens.

President Trump might believe selecting Paula will help him with the women’s vote, but she will do great spiritual damage to the nation.  False doctrine degrades a nation; it does not elevate it.

The Godless Democrats thrive when a nation degrades itself spiritually.

Paula also leads an “unleashed” conference annually. According to her website, it states,

“We want to help inspire students to a deeper faith in Christ, to start unleashing compassion where there is suffering, unleashing kindness where there is selfishness, unleashing truth where there is darkness, & unleashing God’s love where there is hate.”

It sounds like she is going to unleash a bunch of platitudes instead of the Gospel.

She does sound like she has become a friend of Israel, which is a positive. We, as Christians, are commanded not to be arrogant toward the Jews and the nation of Israel despite their lack of faith.

God has made great promises to the people of Israel, and they should always trust that we will be their allies politically.  But their hearts have been partially hardened against the Lord until the full number of Gentiles have come to faith.

They are still largely enemies of the Gospel, and despite this judgment against them, they need to hear and receive the saving message of the Son of God.

According to Naomi Katz, Paula is a leading figure in Evangelical Christianity and has a deep understanding of the Jewish community.

She understands that many Jews are fearful of “Christian Zionists” who apparently have devious ‘ulterior motives.’  They are frightened that, among our wily ulterior motives, we Christians intend to share the Gospel with the people of Israel so they might be saved.

Yep! They got that one right. That is exactly what we intend to do.

Unfortunately, Paula thinks that is a bad idea. It would be no surprise if she thought that, by doing so, we are lacking in compassion, acting selfishly, behaving falsely, and expressing hate.

Paula then decided to take the Lord’s name in vain, which she no doubt does often, and stated,” Paul [the apostle] made very clear that God extended his love to the Gentiles, but he did not take something from the Jews and tell us to go back and course correct or convert them. I do not want to convert Jews or send them to [live in] Israel for the rapture. The plan for salvation for the Jews is God’s.”

Unfortunately for Paula, twisting the words of the Apostle Paul like this is a textbook example of what taking the name of the Lord in vain looks like.

According to Scripture, Paul was devastated that the nation of Israel was in rebellion against God due to their lack of faith in Christ. However, he pointed out:

It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children” (Romans 9:6-7).

When Jesus sent out the twelve, he told them not to go to the Gentiles or to the Samaritans.  He said, “Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). As for those towns that rejected the testimony of his disciples, it would be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.

Any Israelite who is an enemy of the Gospel is not a child of Abraham. And any ‘pastor’ who withholds the Gospel is not a child of God.

Paula is going to be very popular with the Jewish people. On the other hand, Christians are going to be about as popular with the nation of Israel as the Apostle Paul was.

Or Jesus, for that matter.

Jesus once prophesied to the people of Israel, I come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone comes in his own name, you will accept him.

The Antichrist will come in his own name.

So will his disciples.

Those leaders who listen to Satan’s disciples will earn the displeasure of God.  So will the nation that he leads.

The Rapture: Macabre or Marvelous? :: By Angel Torres

The Rapture. Fewer words can conjure up such a dizzying panoply of images and opinions! I remember the words of one author1 who described the Rapture “… as a macabre supernatural dream eluding understanding or explanation, looming on the periphery of my everyday life.”

What is the Rapture, anyway? GotQuestions.org2 provides us with an excellent definition:

“… the rapture is the return of Christ in the clouds to remove all believers from the earth before the time of God’s wrath.”

The Rapture will be the culmination of 2,000+ years of church history! Far from being a “macabre supernatural dream,” it has long been a marvelous source of encouragement for millions of Christians:

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:11-13; emphasis added).

Christians will be caught up to meet with Jesus in the clouds; this will all happen “in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:52), and it will precede the darkest era of human history. Now, you might be asking, “Why is Jesus going to remove Christians from Earth?” Well, why would a loving father pick up his son who is sitting in the middle of the street? Because he wouldn’t want his son to get seriously hurt! As I mentioned just a moment ago, the Rapture will come before an exceedingly dark episode in human history. In fact, nothing else can be likened to it. The purpose of this ghastly point in history will be centered around God’s wrath being poured out on an unrepentant world:

“For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain” (Isaiah 26:21).

2,000 years have passed since Jesus of Nazareth was crucified and rose to life again on the third day. God has given mankind 20 centuries to repent (that is, to have a change of mind about sin) and trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. Billions have done so throughout the last 2,000 years, but eventually, God, in His infinite goodness and holiness, must administer justice:

“The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked…” (Nahum 1:3).

There are a lot of misconceptions that people have about the Rapture. As always, however, it’s best if we get our information from the Bible directly (instead of relying on what others say about the Bible). The point is that this subject does have massive implications because the whole world will be affected by it. When millions of Christians suddenly vanish, chaos will ensue! The Rapture will not be limited by national borders, either. Christians from all over the earth will disappear… at the same time.

In closing, I would like to share the words of a Christian3 who lived over a millennia ago. His words, though old, still ring forth with truth and urgency:

“We ought to understand thoroughly therefore, my brothers, what is imminent or overhanging… Why therefore do we not reject every care of earthly actions and prepare ourselves for the meeting of the Lord Christ, so that he may draw us from the confusion, which overwhelms all the world?”
