Turning Points :: By Daymond Duck

Christians are living in one of the most exciting times in the history of the world.

I cannot imagine a more exciting time unless it was during the days of Jesus’ birth, his preaching and miracles, His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, and the beginning of the Church.

But, in my mind, it goes without saying that our generation, more than any other generation since the days of Jesus’ birth, is seeing the stage being set for the fulfillment of many prophecies in the Bible.

On Feb. 9, 2025, following a week-long visit to the U.S., meetings with Pres. Trump and other U.S. dignitaries and officials, Israel’s Prime Min. Benjamin Netanyahu summed up his visit this way:

  • The visit was a historic turning point for the State of Israel.

He was referring to Trump’s unquestionable support for Israel, the fact that Trump is committed to preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons, the fact that Trump suggested a different idea (the U.S. taking over Gaza) for the “day after” Hamas is defeated, etc.

In my words, Netanyahu said the re-election of Trump is a historic turning point for the State of Israel, Iran, and Gaza. Netanyahu said that the Iranian system of proxy forces, which had increasingly surrounded Israel from several sites, “has been broken…we smashed it a lot.”

Bible prophecy teachers have been expecting a turning point in God’s dealings with Iran for a long time (Ezek. 38-39).

Perhaps that turning point has finally arrived.

If it has, it is a clear sign that history has reached the latter years and latter days (Ezek. 38:8, 16).

(More: On Feb. 16, 2025, it was reported that an EU diplomat said Trump is seeking an agreement with Iran to shut down its nuclear weapons program before October if Iran wants to avoid a serious crisis. Trump said he prefers to make a deal with Iran that inspectors can monitor and verify than to bomb Iran.)

(More: On Feb. 17, 2025, Trump’s National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, said President Trump is absolutely serious, deadly serious when he says Iran can never have a nuke, and certainly not on President Trump’s watch; they are an irrational actor that we cannot allow to have their finger on the button.)

Here are more reasons to believe that history has reached several historic turning points.

(My opinion: People who mock Bible prophecy and say things have never changed are totally unaware of what is happening.)

One, on Feb. 14, 2025, at his swearing-in ceremony as the next Sec. of Health and Human Services (HHS), Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. looked at Pres. Trump and said,

  • I genuinely believe that you are a pivotal historical figure, and you are going to transform this country at a time when we see all of the conditions of democracy now in tatters in our country.

It appears that HHS is at a turning point in America.

Two, on Feb. 12, 2025, Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, said,

  • The pace at which President Trump is issuing executive orders has some heads spinning and others exploding. In just three weeks, the White House has already reached 90 orders and executive actions.

It seems like a great war has broken out over the future of America, and our once-great nation is at a fork in the road.

Three, on Feb. 13, 2025, the Washington Post reported that a U.S intelligence report said Israel is planning an attempt to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities in the first six months of 2025.

An Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities could finally trigger the long-awaited Battle of Gog and Magog.

Four, the election of Donald Trump and deportation of illegal immigrants has caused migrants that were on their way to the U.S. to turn around and head back home.

Trump is helping them by providing flights for them to go back.

(More: The New York Post recently reported that border crossings are down 90%. Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said, “When you have 90% less people coming across the border, how many women aren’t being raped by the cartels? How many children aren’t drowning? How many women and children aren’t being sex trafficked in this country? President Trump is a game changer.”)

Five, concerning Trump’s plan to relocate Gaza’s citizens: on Feb. 14, 2025, it was reported that U.S. Sec. of State Marco Rubio said,

  • The future of Gaza cannot include Hamas as a political or military power.
  • If the countries in the region can’t address that issue, then Israel will have to step in, and we’ll end up back where we’ve been.

Hamas has called for worldwide demonstrations to oppose Trump’s plan.

(More: On Feb. 13, 2025, it was reported that many Gazans want to leave Gaza because there is no future for them in that place. They don’t want to live in tents and rubble for the next few years. They want to go someplace else now.)

(More: On Feb. 14, 2025, it was reported that the Arabs are scrambling to come up with a plan for Trump’s proposal to move the Gazans to Egypt and Jordan. Relocating the Gazans would be a turning point that they don’t want, but they don’t have a better plan at this time.)

(More: On Feb. 16, 2025, it was reported that a Palestinian-Arab plan will be released on Feb. 27, 2025, because they do not want the Palestinians to leave Gaza.)

Six, concerning the Two-State Solution: on Feb. 13, 2025, the speaker of Israel’s Knesset told the visiting EU Parliament president,

  • Hamas killed the so-called ‘two-state solution’ on October 7th.
  • Gaza’s educational system invites violence.
  • Trump’s plan includes the resettlement of Gazans to other countries while the war-torn coastal enclave is rebuilt, deradicalized, and turned into a developed hub at peace with Israel.

Seven, on Feb. 16, 2025, World Israel News reported that an international human rights lawyer said Trump’s plan to take over Gaza is absolutely legal provided he allows the Gazans freedom to choose to voluntarily leave to seek a better life and does not forcefully remove them.

He added that he would actually go one step further:

  • Those who insist the Gazans stay are perhaps the ones violating international law.
  • By doing so, especially while Hamas remains in power, they’re essentially forcing Gazans to stay in an active war zone and allowing them to be used as human shields by Hamas.

Eight, concerning U.S. support for Israel: on Feb. 15, following Hamas’ release of three hostages, Trump said,

  • Hamas failed to release all the hostages by 12 p.m., a deadline I imposed after the terror group threatened not to release any hostages, so the U.S. will back whatever decision Israel makes in response.

Backing whatever Israel decides to do represents a major change from the previous administration that often tried to tie Israel’s hands.

(More: During the current ceasefire, 24 hostages and more than 1,000 Palestinians have been released. Approximately 70 hostages remain in Hamas custody. Some are Israeli soldiers, most are men, and about half are believed to be dead.)

Nine, Trump ordered his administration to review each country individually to determine reciprocal tariffs.

This means the U.S. will impose the same taxes on other countries’ imports as they impose on American goods.

Trump said if they charge us, we charge them.

It is a turning point: an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Ten, concerning sanctuary cities: on Feb. 12, 2025, U.S. Attorney Gen. Pam Bondi filed charges against New York state Officials (Gov. Kathy Hochul, AG Letitia James, and DMV head Mark Schroeder) for hindering the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

Bondi said,

  • This is a new DOJ.
  • New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens.
  • It stops.
  • It stops today.

As songwriter Bob Dylan said, “The Times They Are A-Changin.”

Eleven, concerning a possible Psa. 83 war: on Feb. 18, 2025, it was reported that the Egyptian military is gathering a large force and building military bases in the Sinai Peninsula in violation of its 1979 peace treaty with Israel.

Egypt has more than 450,000 active-duty forces, about 800,000 reserves, more than 4,000 tanks, about 1,100 aircraft (including American-made F-16 fighter jets and Apache helicopters), two aircraft carriers, several submarines, and more.

Egypt is one of the nations mentioned in Psa. 83:6 (the Hagarenes, descendants of Abraham’s Egyptian concubine Hagar), and Israel has warned Egypt that it will not tolerate violations of their peace treaty.

Not all agree, but several expert prophecy teachers believe Psa. 83 is a war that precedes the Battle of Gog and Magog.

Twelve, concerning Israel expanding its borders at the end of the age: on Feb. 13, 2025, it was reported that the Trump administration will support Israel’s plan to keep Israeli troops in the buffer zone between Israel and Syria for years to come.

Israel does not want to remove its troops from the buffer zone until it has assurances from the new Syrian Government that it wants peace with Israel.

Thirteen, concerning the coming Mark of the Beast and tracking of all buying and selling starting at the middle of the Tribulation Period: on Feb. 13, 2025, The Wine Press News reported that:

  • Larry Ellison, the fourth richest man in the world and founder and CTO of the tech giant Oracle, said he wants to collect every single piece of American’s private and personal data, including DNA records, into his company’s AI datacenters to be studied, which can then know everything about us and therefore make our lives easier.

(My opinion: AI will eventually be transformed into an evil turning point in human history.)

Fourteen, concerning deceit and wickedness at the end of the age: on Feb, 18, 2025, it was reported that Elon Musk and DOGE have found that according to Social Security data, the number of U.S. citizens that are eligible to draw Social Security exceeds the population of the U.S.

Many people on the Social Security rolls were born 200-300 years ago.

Musk said,

  • Having tens of millions of people marked in Social Security as alive when they are definitely dead is a huge problem. Obviously. Some of these people would have been alive before America existed as a country. Think about that for a second.

FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin born, sinless Son of God, who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

Rushing The Rapture :: By Nathele Graham

I hear it so often: “I’m ready for the Rapture.” I must admit that I say it quite often myself. The world situation seems to get worse and worse each day.

The hatred toward Israel is supernaturally evil, and there are so many people who hate Donald Trump because he’s trying to get America back on the right track. There’s a war between Russia and Ukraine, and Hamas just spreads its evil violence everywhere. Syria has just had an upheaval of their leadership; Assad ran off to Russia for protection while another group of terrorists took over. It’s just a matter of time until Isaiah 17:1 is fulfilled and Damascus becomes a ruinous heap.

It amazes me that so many people seem to support all things that are opposed to God. Not only politically but morally. The “alphabet” group who want respect and acceptance but do nothing to earn respect are truly in need of salvation.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).

That seems to describe life today. What is it that causes people to choose evil ways over good?

Satan is the one who influences us to choose evil. He has been around since the beginning, and he is opposed to God. Satan encourages the spirit of antichrist. “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18).

We are living in the last days. The Apostle John wrote those words many centuries ago, and it seems as if he was expecting Jesus to return at any moment. Brothers and sisters, we should have that same mindset. It’s obvious that the spirit of antichrist is strong, and that should tell us that the Rapture is nearing.

What does John mean when he uses the term “antichrist”? The Greek word is “antichristos,” and according to Vines Expository Dictionary, it can mean either “against Christ” or “instead of Christ.” We can see that spirit all around us. So many people choose to worship the god of this world, Satan, and allow his evil to rule. Instead of repenting of sin and letting Christ rule in one’s life, many choose to embrace the god of self and worship the ways of the world.

Until Christ calls us Home, we have to live in this world. Temptations and sin are all around us, and the evil seems to be growing stronger. It would be a relief if we didn’t have to live where so many people are opposed to Jesus and see Christians as a threat to their “fun.” In many countries, it is unlawful to follow Christ. Persecution is strong, and I admire any Christian who can rise above the persecution and stand firm on their faith. Jesus knew that His followers would face many challenges, and His final prayer included a prayer for you and me. He asked for God the Father to protect us.

And now come I to thee, and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth…. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word” (John 17:13-17, 20).

If all Christians were gone from the world, there would be great tribulation. We are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and He restrains the full spirit of antichrist from controlling all people. A day is coming when all Christians will be taken Home to be with the Lord, and students of prophecy can see it will be soon. Evil is growing stronger, many preachers are preaching to tickle ears instead of standing solid on Scripture, and the evil hatred of Israel is growing stronger. These are all attitudes that tell us time is growing short.

The spirit of antichrist is powerful but has no power over the true Christ. Christians must not embrace the world but be strong in our faith and follow Christ without wavering. There will be a man who is more than the spirit of antichrist. He will be known as the Antichrist. It’s my belief that this man is alive today and will only show himself after Christians are raptured.

The Apostle Paul spent three weeks in Thessalonica and taught the new believers there about the Rapture. Life held troubles for them, and they became concerned that they had missed the Rapture. They listened to false teachers who confused God’s truth, so Paul wrote to straighten out their thinking.

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way” (2 Thessalonians 2:7).

The King James wording is a bit hard to understand, so let’s see it in the New King James. “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way” (2 Thessalonians 2:7, NKJ).

Only God can restrain sin, so we can be sure it is God the Holy Spirit restraining the evil that will take over the earth. Christians are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, so when we are taken Home in the Rapture, the Antichrist will have nothing to restrain his evil. Don’t misunderstand me; the Holy Spirit will still be active on earth, and people will come to faith during the Tribulation, but they will not be indwelt by the Holy Spirit. It will be very difficult for them.

I would like to rush the Rapture. This world is getting darker and more wicked every day. Prophecy is being fulfilled rapidly, and it’s hard to keep up with it all. The pieces are all falling into place quickly. As we watch the signs of the times, we can see that Israel is under tremendous attack, but they are beginning to get ready to rebuild the Temple, and the Anti-Christ will allow that to happen. He will occupy the Temple, causing the Abomination of Desolation described by Daniel and by Jesus to happen. We can also see the stage being set for the Ezekiel war.

AI will certainly play a huge part in the final days, and I believe it is making the way for the Mark of the Beast. These are things that will take place after the Rapture. Brothers and sisters, the Rapture is our Blessed Hope. God has not appointed us to wrath, but Christ will take His bride to be with Him to protect us.

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works, These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee (Titus 2:12-15).

Only God knows when the Rapture will take place. It isn’t dependent upon a day or Jewish feast, but it is dependent upon a number. When Jesus walked this earth, He fulfilled hundreds of prophecies. The Scribes and Pharisees studied the Law and the Prophets but twisted God’s words to fit their own self-interest. Many modern preachers do that same thing. Because Christ, the Messiah, was rejected by the Jewish leaders, the nation was blinded, so they couldn’t accept Him. At that time, God turned His focus from Israel to Christians, but that will change after the Rapture. God’s focus will return to Israel, and when they call upon Jesus as their Messiah, He will fight for them. Much will happen before then. The Rapture must happen first. If you desire to rush the Rapture, then share the Gospel with others; bring them to faith in Christ.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in” (Romans 11:25).

Be sure of your own faith and have answers for questions you will be asked. Prepare in advance, and pray continually.

God doesn’t want anybody to die without coming to salvation through Jesus. Sometimes it seems as if God is very slow to take us Home, but that’s because He wants everyone to have the opportunity for salvation.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:19).

We can’t rush the Rapture, but we can share the Gospel and give others the opportunity to come to Christ before it’s too late. Maybe that is rushing it.

Keep listening for His call for all Christians to join Him in eternity. What a day that will be!

God bless you all,

Nathele Graham
