Biblical Audio Commentary: After Rapture Dilemma :: By Gary W. Ritter

If you’re like me, perhaps you’ve thought about your financial situation in light of what happens after the Rapture. Frankly, I’ve never seen anyone else discuss this, but I’ve personally considered it a number of times over the years. If you don’t think the Rapture is imminent, then this isn’t even “a thing” with you. However, if you believe like me that Jesus will indeed return at any time for His true church, then a financial conundrum develops. Have you ever pondered this and wondered what to do?

Here’s the issue: Right now, it’s fairly easy to determine good places in which to sow your money into God’s Kingdom.  Of course, first and foremost, we’re to give to the church where we’re predominantly fed the Word of God. Beyond that, we can find reputable ministries through such organizations like the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability which provide a financial breakdown of where your money goes so that you can send offerings and donations with confidence.  All well and good pre-Rapture when the people working at these ministries are all – for the most part (presumably) – born-again believers.

But what happens after the Rapture?

At that glorious moment, all true believers in Jesus Christ who are saved by His blood are called into the clouds and heaven by the Lord Himself, where we remain for the entire seven years of the Tribulation until we follow Jesus back to earth in His 2nd Coming.

Of course, we’ve either read the book or seen the movie.  There are many Left Behind – many who thought that they were in good shape with God because they’d said “the prayer.” As Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins portrayed, a goodly number of these folks will have been in churches or working in various Christian ministries. This is when a Christian’s financial legacy gets dicey.

It’s unclear how society will deal with wills and charitable gifts in the wake of the Rapture. Normally, a person must be proven as deceased in order to trigger the execution of these financial instruments.  That’s not going to technically be possible with the disappearance of so many people.  So, what do the legal eagles and the courts do to resolve this?

Compounding this problem is that at this point those remaining in positions of Christian trust will react quite differently one from another.  Some will realize their mistake and immediately fall to their knees in repentance and ask for God’s mercy.  A certain number will do so later.  However, I have no doubt that many who are left behind will feel great anger and resentment at God.  They will shake their fist at Him and seek revenge.  One sure way in their minds to do this will be to embezzle the funds coming into the churches and ministries at which they’re employed.  The odds of any financial legacy at this time actually being used for the intended purpose will be virtually nil.

Thus the conundrum we who wish to leave monies to advance God’s Kingdom face. The last thing any of want to do is have our hard-earned assets end up in someone’s pocket, even if it may only be there for at most seven years.

What to do?

In my case, I contacted Terry James at Rapture Ready and posed the question to him. He responded with such simple rationale that I could only say, “Of course!” when I read it.  Here’s some of Terry’s reply:

My own thinking in this regard is that once we are gone, the government will confiscate all that was in the accounts of those missing…. Monetarily, I don’t think the government will leave a leaf unturned to find those assets, so, doing nothing in that regard is as good as anything we can do.

Thank you, Terry!  I think you’re absolutely right.  Given the attitudes and hard hearts of the day, there will certainly be a concerted effort to locate and appropriate all such funds.  It really won’t matter what we try to do with whatever we’ve designated for good works.  One way or another that money will disappear.  It’ll be stolen by a faux Christian employee if it somehow makes it to the charity, or more likely the government bureaucracy will claim it for its own.

The bottom line for me seems to be Terry’s good advice: Don’t worry about it.  Set up whatever you wanted to as if the Rapture wasn’t going to happen.  When it does occur in the very near future, we won’t care anyway because God’s got all these kinds of issues under His control, and we can leave it to Him to make things right.

As always, the Biblical advice remains: Don’t be anxious about anything.

The Meaning of Blood Moons and Tetrads :: By Jeff Van Hatten

Matthew 24:42 – “Watch therefore: for you know not in what hour Yeshua will come.”

Luke 21:25-28 – “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars…. the powers of the heavens will be shaken…. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, for your redemption is near!”

James 5:7 – “Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord.”

Am I the only one asking, “Aren’t the blood moons, especially the tetrads, predictive signs? Aren’t they prophetic in nature?” Are these questions that you are asking? Has this shaken your faith in Yahweh? I pray not.

You Have Heard It Said

Didn’t many major prophecy teachers say the blood moon tetrads were pointing to major events that are expected to burgeon forth? Haven’t they shouted this assumption from the rooftops and from every media source available? But what if this assumption is not correct? What if the tetrads, instead of pointing to a coming event, point back to an already fulfilled event? Let’s take a look!

The blood moon tetrad syndromes are four total lunar eclipses in a row plus four total solar eclipses. The next Partial Solar Eclipse will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, and the next Total Lunar Eclipse will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. We will have to wait for the next Tetrad, which will be in 2032-2033, with the following eclipses: April 25/26, 2032; October 18/19, 2032; April 14/15, 2033; and October 08, 2033.

Yahweh Keeps His Promises

Genesis 1:14 – “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed times of meeting, and for days, and years.”

The common descriptive saying is that a solar eclipse denotes the judgment of Yahweh upon the nations, blood moons denote the judgment of Yahweh upon the nation of Israel, and a solar eclipse occurring in the midst of four blood moons denotes the judgment of Yahweh upon the world.

Below are some of the promises I believe Yahweh has already kept:

Matthew 24:2 – “And Yeshua said to them, ‘Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.'”

The blood moons (not a tetrad) in AD 70 may have simply confirmed Yeshua’s prophecy that the Jerusalem Temple would be destroyed. Yahweh keeps his promises.

Ezekiel 36:19 – “And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed throughout all the nations.”

The blood moons in AD 70 and the tetrad in AD 1493-1494 may have simply confirmed Yeshua’s prophecy that the Israelites would be scattered to all the nations. While they were scattered to the European, Asian, and Middle Eastern nations in AD 70, it was not until the Americas were discovered that the final fulfillment of this prophecy could take place and be fully confirmed by a tetrad. Yahweh keeps his promises.

Isaiah 66:8 – “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”

Ezekiel 36:24 – “For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.” (See also Isaiah 11:10-12.)

The tetrads in 1949-50 may simply confirm that Yahweh has, indeed, returned his people to their promised land. Yahweh keeps his promises.

Luke 21:24 – “Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”

Micah 4:2 – “For out of Zion will go forth Torah, the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.”

The tetrads in 1967-68 may simply confirm that Yahweh has, indeed, returned Jerusalem to his people. Yahweh keeps his promises.

Zechariah 12:3 – “It will happen in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the world will be gathered together against it.”

The tetrads in 2014-2015 may simply confirm that Israel has, indeed, become that burdensome stone and that all nations are now aligned against it. Yahweh keeps his promises.

Yahweh Expects Obedience

1 Samuel 15:22 – “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen better than the fat of rams.”

Yahweh is not pleased with any person, church, or church body that brings in other practices and calls them his way of worship. Remember his reaction to the Golden Calf at Mount Sinai? Remember his reaction to the incense of Nadab and Abihu? The tetrads in 2014-2015 may have been Yahweh’s pronouncement of his disgust with the abominations in these times.

Conclusions

2 Peter 3:9 – “Yahweh is not slow about keeping His promises as some people think, but is patient toward you because He wants everyone to turn from sin and come to repentance.”

Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

The Blood Moons and Tetrads are Yahweh’s primary confirmation that he is still in charge, that he keeps his promises, and that he expects obedience. Though they also often denote judgment upon the people, upon the nations, and upon the world, they are merely a secondary effect of these phenomena! Yahweh is not slow in fulfilling his promises.

The Fall Moedim [appointed times/feast days] will be fulfilled in his time to the day, hour, and minute, just as were the Spring Moedim! I have stated many times, “I do NOT set dates. Yes, the season of Yeshua’s return is upon us, and the final fulfillments of prophecies are about to be brought to fruition. Yeshua’s return may be this fall, next fall, or some other period of time. We are to be prepared to meet him when he calls but are also to be patient, watchful, alert, and continuing our labors of faith until he does.”

It is my hope that you will place your trust in Yeshua and continue to look forward to an eternity with Yahweh, Yeshua, and the Ruach Ha’Kodesh [Holy Spirit]. However, those who fail to place their faith in Yeshua will not have that joy.

Final Thought

Luke 21:28 – “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near!”

We are always to be ready for Yeshua to return. Are you ready? If not, then get ready. Exercise whatever time you have to repent and trust Yeshua for your eternal salvation. Do not test Yahweh’s patience and wait too long – the dress rehearsals will not continue much longer. May Yom Teruah [Rosh Hashanah] this year be fulfilled in the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of Yeshua’s Bride.
