Just The Beginning :: By Daymond Duck

On Feb. 6, 2023, Michael Snyder (theeconomiccollapseblog.com) posted an article titled “The Giant Earthquakes That We Just Witnessed in Turkey Are Just The Beginning.”

Snyder cited an Oregon State University (OSU) study by seismologist Tyler Metcalf that said, “a major earthquake in one part of the globe can cause large earthquakes in other parts of the globe.”

According to Snyder and the OSU study, the earthquakes in Turkey could be just the beginning of more earthquakes because large earthquakes often trigger other earthquakes.

I am not predicting more earthquakes in the coming days, but the Bible does teach that earthquakes will increase in frequency and intensity at the end of the age (called the beginning of sorrows; Matt. 24:3-8), and it does teach that the terminal generation will be able to see all the signs beginning to come to pass (Luke 21:28).

It is my opinion that the current generation of people is witnessing Tribulation Period events (world government, tracking all buying and selling, famine, earthquakes, pestilences, economic collapse, etc.) beginning to shape up.

It is just the beginning, but it seems obvious to many that study the subject.

(Note: On Feb. 7-8, 2023, starting one day after Snyder’s article, three small earthquakes struck Israel in 24 hours; 3.9, 3.4, and 3.4.)

(Note: On Feb. 7. 2023, Arab media reported that several small pieces of tile containing verses from the Koran fell off the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. They blamed Israel for not letting them make repairs to the structure.)

(Note: On Feb. 12, 2023, 6 days after the first earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the total number of deaths in both nations was approaching 35,000 and expected to exceed 50,000. The destruction of thousands of houses and buildings was making it difficult for survivors to find food, water, shelter, fuel, and electricity, and the destruction of roads and bridges was making it difficult for people to get aid to them. Dissatisfaction over the pace of recovery was leading to rioting in some places. Make your salvation sure, and be thankful for what you have. Many people went to bed not knowing they would not be alive the next day. Many others lost everything they had, including loved ones, in a matter of minutes.)

Here is more on the signs of His Coming.

One, concerning immorality, perversion, and reprobate minds at the end of the age: on Feb. 7, 2023, it was reported that Finland has amended the nation’s transgender laws to allow citizens that are 18 or over to legally change their gender once a year.

Why am I getting the impression that there is no end to this kind of thinking?

As I see it, allowing people to legally change their gender every 12 months will make it impossible for everyone to call them by their preferred gender.

How can anyone change their gender in one day?

Two, on Feb. 8, 2023, it was reported that this spring, two groups in the Church of England will meet to explore “the use of gender-neutral terms when referring to God.”

A spokesperson said God has not changed, God is neither male nor female, but the Church has not done a good job of using inclusive language.

As far as I am concerned, the Scriptures were written by holy men of God who wrote what God told them to write (II Pet. 1:21).

Changing just one word to soothe people’s feelings will be just the beginning of changing other things in the Bible (II Tim. 4:3-4).

Three, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Feb. 3, 2023, worthynews.com posted an excellent article by retired Israeli Col. Jacques Neriah.

According to the article, a pre-emptive Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities is no longer a “maybe” for Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu.

It is a matter of “when” to do it and how much preparation is needed.

Israel must prepare for:

  • An Iranian counterattack with missiles and drones from many locations.
  • An attack by Iranian troops near the Golan Heights in Syria.
  • An attack by Hezbollah with thousands of rockets and troops in Lebanon.
  • An attack by Hamas and the Palestinians in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.
  • Attacks on Jewish sites all over the world, on oil and gas wells in the Mediterranean Sea, and on Israeli ships in various parts of the world.

Some big questions include Israel’s ability to permanently destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities, the help of Arab neighbors that fear Iran, and U.S. support.

Four, concerning the desert blooming in Israel during the Millennium: I recently wrote that Israel has built several desalination plants, has filled the Sea of Galilee, and would soon double the amount of water it sells to Jordan.

On Feb. 7, 2023, it was reported that the rains have arrived in most of Israel, including Jerusalem and the desert areas of the south.

The water level in the Sea of Galilee is now less than six inches from the red line at which water must be released, or there will be flooding along the shoreline.

More rain, including snow in the mountains, is forecast for the coming week.

Five, concerning world government: I recently wrote that there were two globalist meetings in Jan. 2023 (The WHO International Health Regulations Review Committee, IHRRC, and the WEF Annual Meeting) that submitted proposals to be voted on at the upcoming WHO Assembly Meeting in May.

I wrote that Dr. Francis Boyle, Prof. of Law at the Univ. of IL, studied those proposals and said they will set up a worldwide totalitarian medical and scientific police state and that every nation on earth could lose their national sovereignty if those proposals are approved.

One very dangerous aspect of those proposals is that the International Health Regulations (IHRs) will be changed from “non-binding” to “legally binding,” and WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus will be empowered to declare a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, whether there is a real one or not, just by saying that the “potential” for one exists.

This is extremely important because, on Feb. 8, 2023, Ghebreyesus warned during a virtual briefing that the H5N1 bird flu virus could become a global pandemic and “potentially” infect humans.

If the IHRs become “legally binding” global laws in May, the only thing that is needed for one man to take over the medical and scientific sovereignty of every nation on earth is for Ghebreyesus to declare that the potential exists for the bird flu (or monkeypox or anything else) to become a global pandemic.

Six, concerning world government: on Feb. 13, 2023, about 10,000 globalists from 150 nations started meeting at the World Government Summit 2023 under the guise of “Shaping Future Governments.”

There were 220 sessions that included discussions of:

  • The Challenges of Sustainable Development
  • Climate Change
  • Global Financial Policies
  • The International Economy
  • The Future of Healthcare, etc.

Elon Musk, Founder of SpaceX, participated in a discussion of the main issues that concern the world.

Klaus Schwab, Founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), discussed the state of the world (including the future world economy and the future of society).

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), discussed the transition to digital healthcare and WHO efforts to eliminate epidemics and chronic diseases.

(Note: After writing about this meeting, I almost deleted it because it doesn’t tell you very much, but I decided that 10,000 globalists from 150 nations plotting to change the world’s economy, healthcare, the future of society, etc., is noteworthy.)

Seven, concerning world government: on Feb. 9, 2023, Poland’s Prime Min. said, “Poland is ready to take co-responsibility for shaping the New World Order.”

He called for more international help for Ukraine and opposed a ceasefire in Ukraine’s war with Russia.

I ask,

  • Why would he say this?
  • What does Russia’s war with Ukraine have to do with the shape of the New World Order?

My answer,

  • I believe it is about which regional group Ukraine will be in.
  • The EU wants Ukraine in its group, but Putin wants Ukraine in Russia’s group.
  • Poland wants Ukraine to be in the EU.

(FYI: Note: be aware that Poland is opposing a ceasefire, that Ukraine is rejecting peace talks, and that war and rumors of war continue in Ukraine.)

Eight, concerning world government: in an interview titled “English journalist James Delingpole speaks to LifeSiteNews about Covid jabs, globalists, and God,” on Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that Delingpole, a famous writer for several major publications, accused shadowy figures in governments, the media, and Big Pharma of colluding to impose the Babylonian slave system upon the world (make everyone on earth a slave to a very narrow group of controllers).

Delingpole talked about his salvation during this time of global upheaval, he said the things that are going on are part of God’s plan, he said people can oppose the cashless society by using cash, and he encouraged the informed to expose the globalist plan to as many people as possible.

(My opinion: This famous writer, Delingpole, is a very wise man because he realized that this time of global upheaval is leading to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, and he let it motivate him to improve His relationship with God through Jesus.)

Nine, concerning one world government and the tracking of everyone: on Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) proposed International Pandemic Treaty calls for:

  • A “One Health” global surveillance system to monitor and control diseases.
  • The 194 nations that belong to the WHO to be required to recognize the WHO’s authority over global health issues.
  • The WHO to be allowed to impose its requirements upon all member nations.

Ten, concerning world government, tracking everyone, and reducing the population of the earth: on Feb. 10, 2023, it was reported that a World Health Organization (WHO) official called for:

  • A strengthened WHO global surveillance system.
  • Standardized global medical care.
  • Everyone on earth that is 60 years old or older with an immunocompromised system (weakened immune system) to receive booster shots.
  • To require everyone that is at risk (everyone with underlying conditions, healthcare workers, etc.) to be vaccinated.
  • To put patients that are hospitalized with Covid-19 on ventilators (which often terminates their life).

Eleven, concerning wars and rumors of wars: on Feb. 11, 2023, Ukrainian Pres. Zelensky said Ukraine wants to be a member of the EU, not Russia, and he pleaded with the EU to give him more weapons, including fighter jets.

The EU has not done it for fear that the war will spread.

The next day, Feb. 12, 2023, Russia responded by launching a barrage of more than 50 missiles at Ukraine.

(Note: On Feb. 13, 2023, it was reported that the U.S. has informed all U.S. citizens living or traveling in Russia to leave immediately and to exercise caution because Russian security services are arresting U.S. citizens on spurious charges.)

Twelve, with Ash Wednesday looming (the beginning of a season of repentance in Catholic and some Protestant churches; Feb. 22, 2023, this year), Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano delivered a sermon that strikes me as amazing.

Here is my understanding of Vigano’s main points:

  • This world is sinking into the abyss of evil (violence, slaughter, immorality, etc., some of which is proposed and celebrated by leaders, the media, and even some in the church).
  • People need to prepare for what is coming (Jesus called it the time of tribulation) by getting saved.
  • Watch out for false teachers that are promoting the globalist agenda, especially Pope Francis.
  • Those who promote a New World Order are like the people on the Titanic who were drunk, dancing, and carefree while the ship was moving at full speed toward an iceberg that they did not think could sink it.
  • Pope Francis is an enemy of God because he has abandoned the message of salvation and deliverance from the coming tribulation to push the New World Order.
  • Even though things are getting scary, even though world leaders, the media, and some in the Church have strayed, salvation was purchased for believers by the death of Jesus on the cross, God is in control, and the Church will escape the coming tribulation that humankind is bringing upon itself.

Finally, are you Rapture Ready?

If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

What Are You Doing? :: By Nathele Graham

I remember the angst of my teenage years. The questions with no answers. “Why was I ever born?” “Why am I unlovable?” “Is there any purpose for my life?” The sad thing is, I was a Christian, but as I cried to my mother, her answers didn’t help. They were the truth, but I wanted more. She reassured me that she loved me, but even more so told me that God loved me and had a purpose for me. At 16, that just sounded like nice words with no meaning. Now, at age 70, I look back and see my mother’s wisdom. She was right.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (Psalm 139:14).

Each one of us fits into God’s plan, and God has a purpose for everyone. When life gets tough or lonely, remember that you are indeed “… fearfully and wonderfully made.” You aren’t an accident or a freak of nature; you certainly didn’t originate from pond scum or any form of evolution. God created mankind in His own image.

Jeremiah was a young man who had a calling from God. He felt inadequate and questioned God’s choice in choosing him as a prophet. God told him, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).

What has God called you to do? Maybe a wise prophet like Jeremiah, or maybe a Godly witness to your community. It’s OK to question. Jeremiah did. “Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold I cannot speak for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 1:6-8).

Jeremiah did go where God sent him and spoke God’s words. That’s what we all need to do. We need to take God’s message to a lost world. Will they mock you and laugh at you? Possibly, but that shouldn’t stop you. Your mission is to obey God and leave the results up to Him. “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you” (John 15:19).

Jesus said that to His disciples soon before He went to the cross. Thankfully, those men remembered His words and took the Gospel to the entire world. It’s only our human fear that stops us from sharing the Gospel.

What are you doing? Are you sitting back feeling pretty full of yourself because you’re saved and your neighbor isn’t? Quite often, we call to mind that precious promise in Ephesians “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Unfortunately, most Christians stop there. That’s called “one-verse theology.” Pick out a verse that suits you, and live by it. It’s true that we are saved by grace. We cannot do anything to save ourselves because Jesus Christ paid the price for our redemption. We can do nothing to earn it. We can show our gratitude to Him, though. Go back to your Bible and read on. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).

You see, we are created to do good works even though we aren’t saved by those works. Grace is amazing, and it’s free. Yet, our gratitude should prompt us to live for Christ.

Jesus was God incarnate. His blood was pure and untainted by the sin that permeates our life. He had no sin of His own but willingly took the sin of the entire world upon Himself in order to give us the only way to live eternally with Him. That’s a lot that we have to be grateful for. Have you said, “Thank You”? Have you even tried to turn from your sin? “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).

How do you go about becoming a living sacrifice? Start with Scripture. Learn God’s ways. Learn to discern the ways of God from the ways of the world, which is controlled by Satan. It’s a spiritual battle.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

The Holy Spirit is sealed inside of us from the moment we sincerely accept the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus for our salvation. He will guide us if we allow it. “Quench not the Spirit” (1 Thessalonians 5:19).

On our own, we can never be good enough to make it to Heaven. Only through the righteousness of Christ can we be good enough. “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:11-14).

We need to give our best to the Lord because we belong to Him. That’s what “peculiar” means. We need to ask Him to show us our sins and help us to live a life that pleases Him. His grace is a blessing, but He wants more from us and for us. “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:15-16).

The word “conversation” doesn’t mean the way you talk, although that is part of it. It’s from the Greek word “anastrophe” and means your manner of life, conduct, behavior, and deportment. The word “holy” is the Greek word “hagios” and doesn’t mean you run around with a halo and call yourself “saint.” God is holy and not a part of the worldly ways, and we are to be separated from the world, physically pure, morally blameless, and consecrated to God. We are to be like Him.

So, the question is, what are you doing? Are you resting peacefully in your salvation and not caring about others? Maybe you’re blending in with the crowd and not drawing any attention to the fact that you claim to be a Christian. As we look around at the world in which we live, we can see the moral decay of the entire world all around us. We need to be a light that shines in a dark place. Many people have never had anyone share the Gospel with them, and many others have rejected it. Christians need to wake up and understand that it’s up to us to share the Gospel. That means use words and speak to the lost.

I know too many who are ashamed to talk about Christ and believe the way to share is to do works and hope the recipient will understand the Gospel. Good works are beneficial, but putting a roof on a house never saved anybody. It’s the Gospel that has to be shared using words. Jesus gave the marching orders. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). If the Gospel is not shared, how can anybody hear the Good News of Jesus Christ?

Whatever you’re doing, be sure it’s directed by the Holy Spirit and that it glorifies God. If you’re doing all kinds of good things, but you take the credit, then your good works will be burned up like wood, hay, and stubble. Christians will face the judgment throne of Christ. It won’t be a judgment of “Heaven or Hell,” but ours will be a judgment of our works.

“Now if any man build upon the foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood hay, stubble; every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire” (1 Corinthians 3:12-15).

Our works won’t save us, but any works we do for our own glory will be burned up on the day of judgment. The things we’ve done for Christ will earn rewards which we will throw at Jesus’ feet out of humble gratitude for what He’s done for us. I want a crown so I can say, “Thank You, Jesus, for what You’ve done for me.”

I know I’m not doing enough, but I’m praying that I’ll hear the prompting of the Holy Spirit in my life. Are you listening for His voice, too?

God bless you all,

Nathele Graham
