Hello After Goodbye :: By Dennis Huebshman

When the Father finished creating the heavens and the earth, and after creating the animals, He created man in Genesis 1:26-27; “Then God said, let Us make man in Our own image, after Our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. So, God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female, He created them.” (ESV – all emphasis is mine)

Initially, man was created to be immortal, but after the first sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), human immortality was lost on this earth. In Genesis 6:3, we read, “Then the Lord said, ‘My Spirit will not abide in man forever, for he is flesh; his days shall be 120 years.'”

Going to Psalm 90:10, “The years of our life are seventy (threescore and ten), or even if by reason of strength eighty (fourscore), yet they are soon gone and we fly away.”

What we as humans do in our individual lifetimes becomes significant when we realize our bodies will die, but our souls are eternal. Every human, from Adam and Eve all the way through the Millennial Reign of our Savior on this earth, will make a choice as to where their soul will spend their forever. Some will have eternal life in Heaven with Jesus; others will have eternal punishment in the lake of fire with Satan and his demons or fallen angels.

In our lifetime, my wife and I have experienced the passing of numerous loved ones, friends, acquaintances, and even those who did not really care for us. Those who have passed are set to enter one of two places, and their destiny cannot be changed.

Our hope is that all who have gone on will be scheduled for the 2 Corinthians 5:10 “Judgment Seat of Christ.” No one at this event will go into the lake of fire; however, rewards will be gained or lost depending on what was done on earth, whether good or evil. All that will attend this will have received and accepted Jesus as their Savior before they died. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

From creation to the Savior’s gift at Calvary, all who were in the will of God have experienced peace, which Jesus talked about in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16:19-31. Jesus’ blood at Calvary reached back for those who died in the will of the Father while waiting for the arrival of the Messiah to give us the perfect sacrifice. From His sacrifice on, bull and goat sacrifices would not be acceptable (Hebrews 10:4).

For all from the creation to the end of this earth’s existence who were out of the will of God and all who refused to receive and accept Jesus after Calvary will attend a very sorrowful event.

Revelation 20:11-15; “Then I saw a great white throne, and Him who was seated on it. From His presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”

Please note, there is no forgiveness or pardons here, and all will answer for every single sin they ever committed while on the earth.

As stated, we pray for all the persons we know that they will not be at the great white throne. Right now, we have a loved one who very likely will be in the presence of Jesus very soon, and we are absolutely confident her appearance will be at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

The great part about being a true believer is that all sins are forgiven. No one has sinned so greatly that the blood of our Savior cannot cleanse them. When, not if, we sin as believers, we follow 1 John 1:8-10 where the Father forgives us when we confess to Him. It’s as if we never sinned, but only because the blood of His Son, Jesus, covers us.

The hardest part of a loved one passing is the loss of their fellowship here. That person now is in the presence of the Savior and would not want to return here for anything.

Legacy Five, a very fine Gospel Group, performed a song written by Barry Weeks, Tony Wood, and Jim Brady in 2009 called “Hello After Goodbye.” It was done in honor of Roger Bennet, a group member who passed away. The words express a wonderful message for us all.

1.) “We dress in black, and we say goodbye; how our hearts break, and oh how we cry. Yet though we grieve, we still have hope ’cause for all hearts of faith, we trust and know,

Ref) There’s a Hello after Goodbye, a blessed reunion promised in time. We will be with them far longer than we were without, no doubt; no more tears in our eyes in that beautiful, wonderful, Hello After Goodbye.

2.) Next time we see them, we’ll never more know the sorrow and pain of letting go; we’re with them forever, life without end, in that most blessed sweet moment when,

Ref) There’s a Hello after Goodbye, a blessed reunion promised in time. We will be with them far longer than we were without, no doubt; no more tears in our eyes in that beautiful, wonderful Hello after Goodbye.

We will see them again, be with them again, laugh and talk like before, sing and worship forevermore. There is a Hello After Goodbye, a blessed reunion promised in time. We will be with them far longer than we were without, no doubt; no more tears in our eyes in that beautiful, wonderful, Hello after Goodbye.”

Everyone who has truly received and accepted Jesus, as given in Romans 10:9-13, will be reunited with all who passed away that were saved. There will never be anymore good-byes, as death has been conquered by our Savior. Imagine having a conversation with Daniel or Ruth or many others and knowing that they are truly interested in us as well.

The day is rapidly approaching when the Father will have Jesus take His flock off this earth to keep us from the coming wrath. Those left behind will experience a terrible earth that has never been before. The news headlines today are as if they are taken right out of the pages of Bible prophecy. One thing for certain, we don’t know the day or the hour this will take place, but the Father knows the exact second the Rapture will occur, and it will happen right on time.

For anyone to get their reservation secured for that event, just follow the ABCs of Romans 10:9-13.

-A – Admit we’re all sinners and in need of a Savior.

-B- Believe that Jesus is our only Savior and the only way to the Father. We have faith and trust that God raised Jesus from the dead to conquer sin and death for all who would receive and accept the gift that He gave us on that cruel cross at Calvary.

-C- Call; all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Tomorrow is not promised, but a Home with Jesus is promised forever for all who become a part of His precious flock. Today would not be too early to make your reservation. 1 Corinthians 15:52 states that when the Trumpet of God sounds, it will take place “in a moment; in the twinkling of an eye….” No one will be able to call out in time to repent and be taken up to meet Jesus when the Trumpet and shout from the archangel takes place.

The choice is totally up to each and every individual to make. God will force no one to accept His Son. Take a moment and make the absolute best and most important decision you will ever make. Heaven or Hell; your choice. Hope to see you at Home with the Savior.

Shalom! Peace and Blessings!

Something Is Happening! :: By Dave Hubley

(There is a special message at the end of this article for those who might happen to read this and do not have Jesus in their life and are looking for peace and a way to better understand the present-day insanity and confusion.)

“Something is happening” is a phrase that is starting to appear as a part of articles, news stories, etc.

This proclamation seems to be implying that liberal news outlets, be they news(?)papers, magazines, TV talk shows, or radio talk shows (generally of the liberal persuasion), are beginning to report events factually.

We have become programmed to expect these liberal bastions of propaganda to spin, twist, engage in the practice of intentional omission of facts and/or details, or outright lie about current events.

Have they really started to report truthfully?

The “noticing” of a positive change in reporting ethics is of no value unless followed up to verify if there is any real pattern of truth developing.

My gut inclination would be to suggest Caveat Emptor – Let the Buyer Beware!

It is possible that this apparent improvement in ethical conduct may be driven more by economic realities than an awakening of ethical behavior. We can only hope.

A significant number of Americans have blindly accepted so-called “news” reporting as truthful or factual without verifying its veracity for a very long time now.

The most obvious example of this is the reporting on the Vietnam War. Vietnam Vets were endlessly and undeservedly portrayed as bloodthirsty baby killers and psychotic drooling monsters. So, in many cases, we were treated as such when we came “home.”

This current “something is happening” (or any one of a number of similes) is, in my view, similar to a person noticing a carpenter ant or two in their home but is mentally preoccupied or just plain busy, and so does nothing but notice.

It is in this light that people in this country have been deceived as to the true nature of things in terms of both human and government conduct and so fail to heed the God of creation when He warns and pleads with them to wake up.

Over time, carpenter ants destroy foundations. Ignoring them can and does result in irrevocable damage. Once you find them inside the house in their winged form, the colony has grown and is expanding rapidly and may even have expanded into multiple colonies in the same building.

Once this point has been reached, drastic measures need to be taken to end the destruction, but by then, the damage may be so severe that the weakened structure can no longer be salvaged.

So, what is the point of this “carpenter ant” analogy?

I believe that the idea that evil and sin (the carpenter ants) can be ignored or brushed aside without consequence is contrary to the clear warnings in the laws, precepts, and statutes that the Lord God has established. His warnings of the consequences of doing these things have always been a Biblical reality.

Today, the winged version of carpenter ants has spread everywhere in America’s house, and the smaller “worker ants” have been busily depositing the eggs of evil and destruction into the ever-growing rot in the country’s infrastructure.

The framework that was once based on the Rock of the Word of God is now drowning in a swamp of festering evil. This can be clearly seen and felt.

The “mainstream media” has been “brushing aside,” ignoring, and obfuscating with great diligence for so long now that the inevitable consequences have reared their ugly head.

Those who deceive, lie, and twist the truth do so intentionally. “Spin” is the contemporary word, but it really means “intentionally deceive.” It has become ops normal.

As Ronald Reagan famously said, “Trust, but verify,” but no one has been verifying.

America has been rebuked and warned continuously by God, especially since 911, but is only now beginning to take His warnings seriously.

It is likely to be a case of sleeping too late.

“He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, Will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy” (Proverbs 29:1).

The “he” in the above verse does not only apply to an individual, but it can also be applied to nations, as God has made clear in His Word and actions throughout human history.

So, what has America’s degeneration become over the years?

I won’t make a detailed analysis, but I will provide a condensed and nowhere near complete list of what is an abomination to God for us to soberly consider.

America has become a world leader in: Abortion (the shedding of innocent blood), Pornography, Government promotion of homosexuality and transgender ideology, Drug trafficking and consumption, Child trafficking, and Child sex abuse.

America has openly projected an image of Kali, a vile Hindu goddess of death, on the Empire State Building, openly mocking the Sovereign and Only God.

Could it be fairly said that a nation whose motto is “In God We Trust” and then does these things openly is mocking the very (and only) God that they claim to trust?

What does God have to say about this in His Word:

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7).

There are many who are burdened with great wealth, power, position in human government, success in business, and other millstones that drag them away from the Truth of God’s Word. For them, it is easy to ignore the warnings of (Galatians 6:7) even though, when they take all the credit for their “success,” they inadvertently mock Him.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).

There are those who, out of arrogance and self-deception, challenge God to bring about His prophetic Word “so they may see it,” having no idea that, when He does execute His plan, by His own Authority and Righteousness, they will actually fulfill a prophecy that they unknowingly mock. They will “see it,” and they will be terrified.

“Woe to those who drag iniquity with the cords of falsehood, And sin as if with cart ropes; Who say, ‘Let Him make speed, let Him hasten His work, that we may see it; And let the purpose of the Holy One of Israel draw near, And come to pass, that we may know it!'” (Isaiah 5:18-19). Emphasis added by me.

There is a terrifying end for those who continue to mock and ignore God.

“And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?'” (Revelation 6:15-17).

Mankind’s arrogance and self-aggrandizement blind them to the Truth of God’s Word, and if this sin is allowed to congeal, it may well prevent any chance of repentance that can lead them to salvation. God’s Word rightly calls this a “hardening of the heart.”

They are actively fulfilling Bible prophecy without even realizing it.

“Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:21).

There is a great deal of “money” in the world at present. I say “money” because it is fiat wealth. In most cases, it is only ink on an accountant’s ledger or on a computer spreadsheet. There is an entire genre of books written that are classified as “fantasy” because they are created within the author’s imagination and not based on reality.

Much of today’s wealth is a similar fantasy of security that can evaporate in a moment.

“Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle” (Proverbs 23:4-5).

Much of what has really been happening has been designed to deceive and lull people into complacency and compliance: to “dumb down” the majority of “the masses.”

Is there truly “something happening” in the world of modern mainstream media?

Maybe, maybe not. Whatever it is, I believe it is too little too late for this sin-infested world, but while you are still in your living years, “something could happen” for you.

Something huge. Something grand. Something eternal.

Something to grant you the gift of peace in this current maelstrom.

“and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Open your eyes and observe this current world. Is there any trace or hope of peace to be obtained in it by human endeavors?

You can receive the Hope and Promise of Life in Jesus Christ.

I pray you will get a Bible, read (Revelation 3:20), and open the door to Him and Live.

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross.
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
