These days we have been watching many things take place! An increase in earthquakes in strange places like Oklahoma and others in more common places like Japan and Chile, yet…few are really taking notice. What is an oddity for most of us is the epic storm that is to come in a day or two, to Alaska’s western coast. Oddly enough, it is said that it happens more often than we think, but there is usually an icepack far out into the northern Pacific that protects the coast.

This time around, there is no icepack present, thus the storm could devastate many areas along that western coastline, with property and people at risk. Again, I feel this will come and then go with little to no mention by the left-thinking media. I feel this left-minded media is more concerned with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) situation than with real news that effects so many, so far away.

This is the core issue I wish to address this time around. We read the news and see that everyone is more concerned with, “Who is doing what or who has what?” And it only pulls us away from what God has in store for us. The prophecy in God’s Word the Bible, tells us that men shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased (Dan.12:4). I must ask, the knowledge that they receive will be for what and used to what purpose?

Keep in mind, that we receive, on average, three score and ten years (seventy years) here on this planet, which if you consider this, is NOT very long! Yet few, ever ask the pertinent question, “What is the reason for ME being here?” It is all too apparent, that they feel it is to amass great wealth or power! So I ask, to what end does this seem worthwhile? Again, in terms of seventy years of life, it would seem impractical, at best! Let me explain:

I am a diabetic, therefore my medicine is a critical part of every day, just as my diet is. If I change anything, whether I forget or not, my bloodwork shows a less than desirable result. It is my responsibility to maintain these proper results, if I wish to remain relatively healthy. So the equation is medication + proper diet + over-time = a healthy life.” If I decide to stop any one part of this, it looks like this: no medication + eat anything + over-time = death from stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, etc., etc. In actuality, it is an ALL or NOTHING situation!

Life, as the Lord God meant it to be, was to read HIS perfect and Holy Word and then to follow as HE directs. We are the humans…and HE is God….NOT the other way around! Here is the equation as it was originally meant God + our Creation + His Word = a happy life, full of harmony! And on the flipside we then see God + our Creation + our way = an unhappy life, full of chaos! The reason for this disparity is unforgiven sin. It says in Romans 3:23-25:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.”

This verse declares the difference between those that are saved by grace in Jesus Christ and those that are not! We see this example everyday of our lives; If you are sitting here reading this, then you are not sitting out in the street! Everything is one way or the other and never the same way at once! It is easier to say YOU are either saved by the blood of Jesus Christ…or YOUR not! This then goes on to verify John 3:16, emphasis added:

“For God so loved the world,, that HE gave HIS only begotten son, that whom ever shall believe in HIM, shall have Eternal Life.”

This said nothing about Mohammed or Buddha or anyone else…it is strictly about Jesus Christ and no other! It said nothing about wealth or power or anything else…it is all about Jesus Christ and HIS blood on the cross! IF you have NOT been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ…YOUR sin remains…your life is worthless…YOU will die and go to hell!!

It’s that simple and that direct! There is a broad, black line…Jesus stands on one side and Satan stands on the other side…It is up to YOU to choose which side YOU wish to stand on! YOU must decide before YOU die or the Rapture….There is NO other way!!!

So, lets look again at the news and see what the journalists are pushing with a different eye this time! We have seen people try and remove “In God We Trust” from everything we have. We have seen them remove prayer from our schools and our children!

And in today’s news we have read where Kathy Griffin has said Jesus had nothing to do with her receiving an Emmy and that the Emmy was now her God (Yahoo news, Inc./AP News). This would have been unheard of twenty years ago, she would have never thought to say something so horrible! Back then, she would have been ridiculed mercilessly and yet here she is upfront and blatant!

I am sure you can see that the Word of God in prophecy is correct. Please note this verse 2 Peter 3:2-4:

“That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

As horrible as blasphemous as the statement was made by Kathy Griffin, it will only get worse! Simply remember that it was Jesus Christ that said, about people like this will be known by their fruit!

Here is one more thing to consider. So many people are truly upset by President Barak H. Obama and his administration, Congress, the lobbyists and many others! Lets stop for a moment and ask ourselves, “What is it that they seek to claim for themselves?” Wealth, power, whatever? Do you see the one thing that they do not, what THEY can take from others?! Are they known by their fruit?!

Do you really see that there will never be anyone in the office of president or Congress…like those fifty years ago?! We will never again see a Lincoln or Eisenhower or Reagan! The one thing I know…I can count on is the Word of God!! I am able to come to My Lord and Savior and know HE will care for me!

Lastly, take a long, hard, look at eternity! Eternal life is forever! Now, “forever,” as we know it has NO end, it simply goes on and on and on, without end. In comparison, our lives here as  humans is roughly seventy years, three score and ten as the Bible puts it. The Bible states if YOU accept the “free will” gift from HIM, you get to live forever! Man says what? Nothing…there are no guarantees of any kind, especially when it comes to life! They say, “YOU live until you die…then its the end!”

From my perspective, I want to live, I want happiness! I want there to be something to exist after I die or am taken in the Rapture! Having said that, I want to go to heaven, that is where there is life eternal. AND….having said that….what is more important to me?! To gather wealth and power HERE?? NO!!

I will do whatever My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ asks me to do! That way I get to have life eternal! So go ahead and keep all the money and whatever and all the power YOU so desire while your here! YOU only have it for roughly seventy years…Duhhhh!!!

Okay, so what if I am re-discussing Pascal’s Wager?! It is still the truth, If YOU accept the “Free Will” gift through the Blood of Jesus Christ, YOU will live for eternity! For me, it is still simple arithmetic, seventy years verses eternity!! And Pascal has nothing to do with it!

I am no longer concerned with who is president or a congressman and only the righteous are honorable! I no longer care about money or power or anything short of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! One day, I will have an “incorruptible” body that never gets sick, never dies, never sees a day with unhappiness!! I will never see hunger or pain or suffering, I will never know an unkind thought or word, because My Lord and Savior said so…and that…is enough for me! Marantha, Lord!!!

I find it difficult at times to be humble and it is to my disgrace. So it is with all of us at some point in time and yet, this “humility” is a very important ingredient for our soul and spirit when we deal with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is this “state of being” we must be when we come before the Creator of all that there is or will ever be! You are standing in the presence of God Almighty!

As you have read above, humility is the “posture” we must assume before God and this is physically and spiritually. Jesus says in Mathew 11:27-30:

“All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

The endeavor of each and every person who KNOWS Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be to be LIKE Him! When Jesus Christ was here on earth, this was the posture that HE took before us; meek and lowly in heart. What better way to say HE Loves us, than to be willing to wash our feet. So there is the context our hearts should be filled with, when we deal with others! How better to defeat aggression before it takes place.

When we are “humble” before others we speak of the love (God) we find in our hearts. Having stated this according to the Word of God, where does this leave those that are not humble? The act of being “humble” is Godly, therefore…it is─arrogance─which is the opposite and is the product of Satan. Thus, we see that “love” is the opposite of “hate” and so on and so on, right down the middle. I must inject here that these are not mere words, they are not adjectives, they are true nouns.

Looking at these words according to our English language, these names are of a “state of being” not a “state of mind,” but is inclusive of every thought, word or action, which is physical and spiritual all at once. We are all fallen beings, because of our sin and as human beings we will forever be stricken with sin. This is the defining line in our lives! It is the question of: “What must we do, concerning our sinful nature, when we come to Jesus Christ? What will be our future, considering our sin?” Jesus stated, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

It says in John 3:17-21: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

We that KNOW Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, are IN his Light, we are saved by HIS forgiveness of our sin…this is where the big black line is laid for every single person that has ever lived on this small planet! YOU stand either on one side or the other…there is no way to be a line sitter…there is no “gray area” here! The Word of God, having stated this, the question then is… Which side of that line are YOU standing on?

I have written many times about the Rapture that is coming so very soon, as have so many others. This is the “defining line” that we are talking about! This is the exact line that will divide all people, according to whom they wish to follow: Jesus Christ or the other guy. Knowing this from God’s Word the Bible, we can easily see that the fruit we produce will identify us! It is the beginning of our very thoughts that bring about the actions in our lives and these actions are the “fruit.”

Take a look at a thief…his thoughts are of “arrogance.” He does not respect anyone and this includes himself and so his actions PROVE his motives to steal from another and NO ONE likes a thief! It is then evidence, that this thief hates God…how sad for him, if he never knows Jesus Christ and is not forgiven of his sin.

At this point, we must understand that any thought outside of God’s holy Word, is sin! It is the “thought” that predates the action and to God…the “thought” is enough! It is the “intent of the heart” that comes between God and us, it is an active choice. This active choice is against God and it will keep us from heaven! We MUST ask the Lord for HIS forgiveness of our sin…this is the ONLY way!

Here is something that many, many people do not seem to understand. God is love! God is also just in righteousness and wisdom. As is stated in John 3:16:“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

It is also stated in John 3:18-21:

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

This last three verses show that God is also a…just God…and that HE will NOT tolerate anything short of HIS perfect will in us. This is to show, according to the Words God has stated, that anyone falling short of HIS perfect will…will NOT see heaven! God is talking about HIS forgiveness for my sin! It states we MUST be washed in the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary”!

If anyone is too “arrogant” to come to the cross of Jesus Christ with everything in his or her heart, and ask for HIS Forgiveness of their sin, they will indeed spend eternity in hell!

Here then is the “Dividing Line” of each and every one of us, the blood of Jesus Christ!! Considering that we will see the Rapture of the church of Jesus Christ in our lives, the question is then, “Will YOU be in the Rapture…or will YOU be left behind?”
