The Coming Snare :: by Daymond Duck

In the past few months, the world has gone through some of the most far-reaching and consequential events in the history of mankind and most people—including most church goers, are unaware of these developments.

Concerning His return, Jesus said, “Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, andso that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth” (Luke 21:34-35).

Our Lord was saying beware of getting so preoccupied with the cares of this world that you fail to watch for His return. Beware of getting so distracted that you fail to watch the signs or you will be caught by surprise.

Below is a short list of recent historic developments (monumental events of great prophetic significance) that only a few are paying attention to.

In June, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage is legal and their ruling is a clear sign that the days of Lot and the days of Noah have arrived. Whether or not people agree with the court’s decision doesn’t matter. Their ruling is an indisputable sign that the end-of-the-age has arrived (Luke 17:26-30).

In June, Pope Francis released an encyclical calling for a reduction in the world’s population, regulating global climate change, establishing a global constitution, establishing a global court and establishing a one-world government. Doing this will make the rule of Antichrist possible during the Tribulation period (Dan.7:23; Rev.13:7).

In July, a Pew Study found that more Christians are being persecuted today than at any other time in the history of the church (Matt. 24:9). The world is a dangerous place for Christians especially those in the Middle East.

In July, the Temple Institute announced that the architectural plans for a rebuilt Temple are complete and ready to use (Dan. 9:26; Matt. 24:15; 2 Thess. 2:4; Rev.11:1). The Temple will be rebuilt after the Rapture so the finished plans are a sure sign that the removal of the church is drawing near.

In August, the global economy took a beating (Rev. 6:5-6). Puerto Rico defaulted on its debt payment, the EU’s credit rating was downgraded from stable to negative, China devalued the Yuan three days in a row, Zero Hedge said 23 stock markets were collapsing and the CBO said America’s national debt is unsustainable. These are meaningful reminders that an economic collapse is on the horizon.

In September, the greatest mass migration of people since WW II started and a major factor is the fighting, killing and persecution (kingdom against kingdom) that Jesus said would be a sign of His coming (Matt. 24:7). It is no small thing that multitudes abandoned everything they possessed and risked their lives (and the lives of their children) to flee to safety in other nations.

In September, Russia and Iran moved into Syria. Their presence there is a sure sign that the battle of Gog and Magog could be close and that would mean that the latter days and the latter years have arrived (Ezek. 38:1-5, 8, 16).

In September, 193 nations voted unanimously to create a one-world government in connection with their 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. God can speed this up or slow it down, but if He leaves it like it is, the world is less than 15 years away from the Rapture.

In October, the World Bank asked all of the nations to get together and come up with one inexpensive way to identify and track everyone on earth by 2030 (Rev.13:16-18). This group of globalists want every nation on earth to use the same system, same kind of equipment, compatible data bases, etc. Their tracking system will lead to the mark of the beast and the death of multitudes.

In October, twelve nations completed the negotiations on the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). These nations cover 40 percent of the world’s economy. Others want to join, including China. When all of them get in the result will be a one-world economic system (Rev.13:16-18).

In October, dozens of Palestinian terrorists attacked Jews in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu promised some of the victim’s families that he would install surveillance cameras on every road in Judea and Samaria and on all of the major roads in the area.

U.S. Sec. of State, John Kerry, visited the area and called for surveillance cameras to be installed on the Temple Mount for 24-hour a day monitoring of activities there.

The PA rejected his suggestion, but Mr. Netanyahu said the cameras will be installed in a matter of days and they will eventually be hooked to the Internet so people can view the events that are taking place 24-hours a day.

This is important because the Bible mentions the Two Witnesses that will prophecy for 3 ½ years during the Tribulation period (Rev.11:1-13). The Antichrist will kill them and the entire world will see their bodies lying in the streets of Jerusalem. No one will bury them and all of their enemies will celebrate their death. After 3 ½ days, God will raise them from the dead, call them up to heaven and everyone on earth will see this miracle take place.

Surveillance cameras on the Temple Mount in East Jerusalem and in the surrounding area means that people will soon be able to sit in their homes and witness what is going on there. Many who are alive today may witness their resurrection from the dead and their rapture up to heaven.

So the return of Jesus is going to come upon the world like a snare, just as he forewarned. If we pay close attention we can know where we are on His prophetic clock.

Scary Things :: by Daymond Duck

John W. Whitehead is a well-known and highly respected attorney who specializes in constitutional law. Thousands of U.S. citizens have contacted him when they thought their civil or religious rights were being violated. His nonprofit organization, The Rutherford Institute, has defended multitudes without charge in courts all over the United States.

This famous award-winning attorney has written more than two dozen books, written more than a dozen law review articles and he has been involved in cases that went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

He recently appeared on Glen Beck’s radio program and he writes a weekly article that is posted on the Institute’s website (www.rutherford.org). It is also printed in hundreds of newspapers.

Mr. Whitehead’s most recent article is titled, “Things Are Getting Scary: Global Police, Precrime and the War on Domestic ‘Extremists.’”

This reminds me of something Jesus said about the signs of His coming, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake” (Matt. 24:9).

Many Christians in the U.S don’t think they will be persecuted before the Rapture. We should pray that they are right, but it is fair to ask why this constitutional attorney said that “Things are getting scary?”

One scary thing is that the government is taking steps to establish a global police force (The UN Strong Cities Network) and Jesus said believers will be hated in all nations. “Global” and “all nations” covers the same amount of territory which includes the U.S.

Another scary thing is, the people that the Obama Administration calls domestic extremists. They are not Muslims who rape women, sell women and children into slavery; bury men alive and shoot, crucify or behead others. No!

In the eyes of the Obama Administration the domestic extremists are ordinary citizens that own guns, oppose abortion, oppose same-sex marriage, oppose world government, want a balanced budget, have conservative political views, etc.

The domestic extremists are mostly conservatives who want their government to follow the U.S. Constitution; those who want theirfreedom of speech, their freedom of religion and things like that. Many are Christians, but some belong to the TEA Party, the National Rifle Association and other groups.

Another scary thing is that this war on domestic extremism won’t be about the police targeting Christians and conservatives for crimes they have committed. No!

It will be about the police targeting Christians and conservatives toprevent them from committing a crime. People won’t get in trouble for anything they have done.

People will get in trouble for what the government thinks they might do. The government will target them for what they believe, what they say, what they own, who their friends are, where they go, what they are against, etc. Their offense will be disagreeing with their government.

I may be a wrong, but I believe that during the Tribulation period it will come down to people who support the government by taking a mark, name or number—they will be left alone. But people who won’t support the government in that way will be persecuted and killed.

And what if there are Muslims in the White House who don’t believe those who behead people are extremists?

Another scary thing is that the government is building a surveillance system to collect data on everyone. Face scans, eye scans, hand scans, ID cards and DNA collection are a reality.

A spy center to collect data on phone calls, e-mails, Google searches is a reality. Fusion centers with area data bases that contain information on so-called domestic extremists are a reality.

The Rapture doesn’t scare me. But the scary things Mr. Whitehead wrote about cause me to think that it could be close and to know that there is much to rejoice about.
