I want to address three issues before commenting on recent events in the news.
First, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog, prophecy teachers differ on what “dwell safely” means (Ezek. 38:11).
Some excellent Bible prophecy teachers say the Battle of Gog and Magog can’t happen now because Israel is not dwelling safely (they say Israel is under constant attack; dwelling safely means when the Antichrist confirms the covenant, etc.).
Other excellent Bible prophecy teachers say “dwell safely” doesn’t mean Israel won’t be attacked because Israel is being attacked.
They disagree with those that say Israel will be dwelling safely when the Antichrist confirms the covenant because the Antichrist will break the covenant, the Jews in Judea will need to flee into the wilderness at the middle of the Tribulation Period, etc.
They say “dwell safely” means God won’t let Israel be destroyed.
God has plans for Israel (Israel must agree to the covenant; go through the Tribulation Period; rebuild the Temple; etc.), so Israel won’t be destroyed because several prophecies must be fulfilled.
Second, some excellent Bible prophecy teachers say the U.S. is not mentioned in Bible prophecy (especially the Battle of Gog and Magog), so that means the U.S. must be destroyed before the Battle of Gog and Magog, etc.
They may be right, but not everybody agrees with that.
There is a possibility that God will keep the U.S. out of the Battle of Gog and Magog because He intends for the world to know that He alone helped Israel.
It is also possible that the U.S. will exist as part of the North American Union (one of the Ten Kings instead of being a sovereign nation).
Third, some excellent Bible prophecy teachers believe Psalm 83 describes a past war that was fulfilled when five nations (Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia) attacked Israel in 1948.
Other excellent Bible prophecy teachers believe Psalm 83 describes a future war that will be fulfilled when ten groups of people (Ishmaelites, Hagarenes, Philistines, Assur, etc.) attack Israel.
At least some of those that believe Psalm 83 describes a future war believe one of those ten people groups, Assur (Psa. 83:8, KJV), was the people of Assyria (northern Iraq), but northern Iraq was not involved in the attack on Israel in 1948.
Because every jot and tittle of Bible prophecy must be fulfilled, some Bible prophecy teachers believe Psa. 83 refers to a future war that includes troops from northern Iraq.
Also of concern is the fact that the 1948 attackers (Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia) are still enemies of Israel’s God (Psa. 83:2); they still take counsel against Israel (Psa. 83:3); they still want Israel destroyed (Psa. 83:4); they still claim the Jewish holy sites (Psa. 83:12), so Asaph’s prayer requests (Psa. 83:14-18) have not been answered.
Put another way: If the Psa. 83 war was fulfilled in 1948, Asaph’s prayer to destroy Israel’s enemies has been ignored.
Concerning current events, quickly, here are five things.
One, Pres. Trump intends to soon sign the U.S.-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement that establishes the North American Continent as one large regional trading group of nations.
Know that globalists have a three-step plan:
- Use trade agreements to divide the world into ten regional trading groups of nations (an economic New World Order patterned after the EU);
- Change the rules to convert the ten regional trading groups of nations into ten regional political groups of nations (a political New World Order with a leader over each group that will likely be the ten leaders, kings or horns);
- Merge the ten regional political groups into a one-world government (according to the Bible, the Antichrist will be given power over it).
So, the fact that the U.S. will agree to the USMCA is just step one in the process.
Two, God will cause the rain to return to Israel at the end of the age.
In early January 2020, the entire nation received heavy rain, and a wide area of Israel received 14 to 17 inches.
Seven people were killed, 2-300 were hospitalized, and the damage was massive.
Three, during the Tribulation Period, the Antichrist and False Prophet will try to force everyone on earth to take the Mark of the Beast.
My friend Terry James recently reported that billionaire Bill Gates has become a founding partner in a company called ID2020 Alliance.
The company’s goal is to use mandatory vaccinations and implantable microchips to give everyone on Earth a digital ID.
Four, during his Jan. 2020 State of the Nation speech, Vladimir Putin proposed changes to the Russian constitution that will increase his power and allow him to influence the Russian government for life.
Just know that Gog is the dictator of Russia in the Battle of Gog and Magog, and Vladimir Putin is planning on being the boss for years to come.
Five, a baby has been born to a transgender couple in Chicago.
The parent that sired the child identifies as a woman and wants to be called the mother of the baby, and the parent that gave birth to the child identifies as a man and wants to be called the father of the baby.
The state of Illinois is changing the way parents are identified on birth certificates to allow parents to choose whether they are called the father or the mother.
Please pray for me.
It is difficult to respect the politicians that make decisions like this.
