One, concerning plagues and famine, on Feb. 10, 2020, the UN warned that the size and number of Locust plagues in Africa is unprecedented, and if unchecked could put about 2 billion people at risk of famine.

The UN is deploying troops, helicopters and sprayers to help fight it.

Two, concerning an economic collapse, Pres. Trump said the U.S. national debt and budgets deficits are a threat to America’s prosperity.

He proposed $4.6 trillion in cuts over the next 10 years, but Congress is not likely to go along.

Three, concerning a falling away and persecution, a black pastor was recently invited to offer a prayer before the Virginia House of Delegates.

He warned that the wrath of God will fall on people that pass laws to abort babies.

Several members of the House of Delegates turned their back on the pastor and walked out.

Four, still along the line of a falling away and persecution, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc. (BGEA) signed contracts for Franklin to preach at 7 UK cities.

People started calling Franklin a hate preacher, and all of the events were cancelled.

The BGEA believes Christians need to start standing up to get the Gospel out.

The BGEA will ask the courts to enforce their contracts.

Five, concerning the Coronavirus, pray for the people of China, especially the Christians, and pray for God to provide a cure.

The number of cases and death is soaring; the fear, suffering and hardship are unimaginable; there are predictions that this will get much worse and possibly go global.

Amir Tsarfati suggested that people might want to put Sodium Ascorbate (vitamin C) in water and drink it three times a day to boost their immune system.

For whatever it is worth, some believe God may be allowing this to show people what a plague can do and the importance of being ready for the Rapture all the time.

Six, most of the things (wine, grain, olive oil, etc.) that were used or offered at the Temple had to be grown, prepared or whatever in a special way.

Some lambs were the firstborn; some grain was the first fruit of the harvest, etc.

The Passover Lamb was roasted on a stick from a Pomegranate tree; the wood had to be from a tree that was at least 5 years old, etc.

Five years ago, knowing that they would need different kinds of wood for burning sacrifices at a rebuilt Temple, the Jewish Sanhedrin started growing the different kind of trees that are needed to provide acceptable wood for the sacrifices.

They have been growing Pomegranate trees, Cedar trees, Date Palm trees, Olive trees, Cinnamon trees, etc.

On Feb. 10, 2020, it was reported that the trees the Sanhedrin set out 5 years ago can now be used at a rebuilt Temple.

Seven, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog, on Feb. 11, 2020, Israel sent a message to Iran.

In essence, Israel’s message was that Iran does not need to station troops in Syria, and as long as Iran has troops in Syria, Israel will attack them.

Israel’s message to Iran was probably the result of Russia saying Israel’s attacks on Iran in Syria are provocative and very dangerous for the people of Syria, and should a war break out, Russia will take sides against Israel (duhhh, that’s Biblical).

Two days later, Israel announced that it will establish a new command to deal with threats from Iran.

Eight, concerning the tracking of all buying and selling, on Feb. 13, 2020, SpaceX announced that it would launch a rocket to put 60 Satellites in orbit over the coming weekend.

This will make 300 satellites that SpaceX has in orbit, the company has approval to put 12,000 more in orbit, and it is seeking permission to add 30,000 to that.

It probably won’t be long until people will have the ability to track all business, and to see the bodies of the Two Witnesses lying in the street in Jerusalem.

Look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28).

One, the abundance of rain in Israel has resulted in the release of water from the Sea of Galilee for the first time in decades.

Israel’s incredible food production will become more incredible.

Two, various plagues of Biblical proportions are wreaking havoc around the world.

Since Sept. 2019, the worst wildfires in Australia in decades have killed 28 people, destroyed more than 3,000 homes, burned 15-20 million acres, and killed perhaps as many as one billion animals.

The good news is that heavy rains have doused many of the fires, but flash flooding is now a problem.

Currently, billions of locusts are devouring crops in Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Djibouti and South Sudan. (There is little left that people and animals can eat; think famine.)

About two-thirds of the pigs in China have died from swine flu, pork is now a luxury, some Chinese have not had pork to eat in about six months, and some have turned to cheaper meat (rabbits and dogs; think rider on the black horse; Rev. 6:5-6).

4,500 chickens recently died from the H5N1 Bird Flu Virus in China.

The Coronavirus has caused China to declare a national emergency, the World Health Organization has declared a global health emergency, the U.S. has declared a national health crisis, other nations are taking similar steps; and there have been several reports that the real statistics are being grossly under- reported.

The U.S. is trying to contain it, but if it makes its way to Mexico, America’s open border will allow it to spread, and the U.S. will be helpless to stop it.

Incidentally, they are hard to come by (and I am not recommending anything), but washable, anti-viral or bio-block face masks do exist (Google for information).

Three, concerning persecution, China’s leader Xi Jinping ordered churches and crosses to be destroyed, he ordered the Bible to be rewritten, he ordered the posting of signs at churches forbidding anyone under 18 to enter, and forced people to worship him like he is God.

Perhaps, it is time to ask Xi Jinping if he is God, why doesn’t he stop the plagues that are killing the people and pigs in China.

Perhaps, it is time to ask if the true God is showing Xi Jinping and the world who really is in control.

Four, on Feb. 5, 2020, breakingisraelnews.com posted an article by David Sidman that said Rabbi Shlomo Amar, the former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, recently told a group, “All the great rabbis of this generation are saying that the Messiah is about to reveal himself. All the signs the prophets gave, all the signs predicted in the Gemara, the Mishnah, the Midrash, everything is taking place, one by one. All we need is to remain strong for a little bit longer.”

The article also said another rabbi announced “that the arrival of the Messiah would preempt the initiation of President Trump’s plan for the Middle East.”

It is worth noting that many rabbis believe that our generation is seeing all of the signs of Messiah’s coming taking place.

Pre-Trib Christians believe that the Church will be raptured before the Antichrist confirms a plan for peace in the Middle East, but they grieve over the fact that the Jews will wrongly accept the Antichrist as their Messiah.

Five, concerning Pres. Trump’s plan for the Middle East, now called “Peace to Prosperity,” the PA, the Arab League and many others have, in fact, rejected it.

But understand that no one expected them to accept the first offer, and no one should believe that their rejection means the plan is dead.

Contrary to the predictions of some that the Arabs would immediately attack Israel, several Arab nations are warming up to Israel and encouraging the PA not to close the door.

On Feb. 3, 2020 (6 days after Pres. Trump released his peace proposal), Prime Min. Netanyahu met with the current leader of Sudan (a 95% Muslim nation with about 43 million people and a member of the Arab League), and the Sudan and Israel agreed to stop all “mutually hostile actions and positions.”

Shortly after that, Tunisia’s ambassador to the UN helped draft a UN resolution that condemned Pres. Trump’s “Peace to Prosperity” proposal.

Tunisia (a 98% Muslim nation with about 11 million people) abruptly recalled their ambassador and fired him for condemning the proposal without consulting with them.

Know also that the U.S., Israel, Saudi Arabia, the EU, Sudan, Bahrain and Oman are talking about meeting in Egypt to discuss Pres. Trump’s peace proposal, and they are trying to get Jordan and the PA to attend.

Notice that these Arab nations have not gone to war against Israel.

They are talking about meeting with Israel to discuss ways to advance the negotiations.

Also, don’t overlook the fact that any number of events (war with Syria, war with Hezbollah, an Iranian nuclear bomb, etc.) could change the situation.

There is no doubt that there will be a peace plan at the beginning of the Tribulation Period (and all of the signs seem to indicate that Tribulation Period could be close).

God alone knows whether Pres. Trump’s proposal will be negotiated into that plan or there will be a different one.

Pres. Trump, Sec. of State Mike Pompeo, former U.S. Ambassador to the UN, and several others have told the Palestinians this may be their last chance to have their own state.

The U.S. has even told Mahmoud Abbas that the anticipated upcoming meeting in Egypt could be the Palestinians’ last chance to have their own state.

Who knows, but if this is the last chance to divide the land of Israel, this could be that plan.

Also, be aware that the covenant will be confirmed with “many,” but there is nothing that says the “many” includes the PA.
