With a gaggle of delusional national leaders lining up to recognize a utopian Palestinian State living in peace with Israel, let us take a full bottle of realism pills.
The so-called “Palestinian” people had their chance at a self-governed “Palestinian” state in Gaza. They elected the terrorist group Hamas to govern them, and from the very day Israel turned over Gaza to this “Palestinian” entity in 2005, nearly 32,000 rockets/missiles and over 6,500 mortars have been fired into Israel by these peaceful Palestinians, mostly aimed at civilians.
The “Palestinian” goal is fully stated in the slogan “from the river to the sea.” This explicitly means the “Palestinians” want to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth. Genocide of the Israeli people.
Let’s look at the history: In August 2005, then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon unilaterally gave up Gaza as a peace offering to the Palestinians in an event called disengagement. The Palestinians answered with the slogan “Gaza today, Jerusalem tomorrow.” Palestinian leaders at the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, and at Islamic Jihad claimed victory and demanded Jerusalem.
On August 15, 2005, The Daily Jot reported that former Sharon cabinet member Benjamin “Netanyahu called disengagement an “evil” and urged Members of the Knesset to stop it. He said he has warned the Sharon government that the Palestinians will only use the Gaza land to establish a terrorist base of operations and that the nation of Israel’s defense and security may be undermined by disengagement.” And that’s just what they did.
The point is that these “Palestinians” had their opportunity for their own country in Gaza in 2005. But within minutes, they were wanting all of Israel and backed it up with violence against innocent citizens, culminating with the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack, slaughtering over 1,000 Israelis, mostly civilians.
And even with that terrorist attack, a November 2023 in-person Arab World for Research and Development (AWRD) poll of 668 adults living in Gaza and the West Bank found that over 75% supported Hamas’ actions on October 7. The same percentage (76%) want a Palestinian state from “the river to the sea.” Some 90% believe there will never be peace with Israel, and 76% still view Hamas favorably. Over 97% are very negative toward the US, even though the US is supplying millions in “humanitarian” aid.
Compare this with a November 2023 Quinnipiac Poll indicating 41% of US Democratic Party voters support the “Palestinians” and 60% of Democrats disapprove of Israel’s response. What does this tell you about American support, ignorant or otherwise, for the “Palestinian” agenda?
Lip service by politicians supporting Israel and their actions supporting “Palestinians” are contradictory. And those who chant “from the river to the sea” are calling for a modern-day “final solution” as Adolf Hitler did in the 1940s.
As is written in Isaiah 59:7-8, “Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not.”
To reward this terrorism with its own country is only going to perpetuate this violence against Israel. It’s worse than, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.
