The New Islamic Invasion :: By Bill Wilson

In 632, at the time of Mohammed’s death, orthodox Christianity was the overwhelming majority religion in Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Asia Minor, North Africa, Corsica, Sicily, Sardinia, Italy, France and Spain.

Historian Paul Crawford writes that in the next 100 years, Islam had conquered all these countries except Italy, the islands and Northern France. He writes, “The Christian communities of Arabia were entirely destroyed in or shortly after 633, when Jews and Christians alike were expelled from the peninsula. Two-thirds of the formerly Roman Christian world was now ruled by Muslims.”

Are we now facing yet another invasion by Islam, and will the result be a defense of the West as in the days of the Crusades?

In the Spring 2011 edition of the Intercollegiate Review, Crawford tackles the “Four Myths about the Crusades.” He says that the Crusades were not unprovoked, as is taught by history revisionists. Crawford documents that the surviving central secular authority in the Christian world, the Byzantine Empire, along with the popes counter attacked Islam to regain their land and to protect “victimized Christians.”

These battles, according to Crawford, continued from 633 through 1095 when the First Crusade began under Pope Urban II and Byzantine leaders. The Crusades, Crawford concludes, were the result of Islamic aggression that forced out Christianity and threatened nations and governments.

Fast forward to present day. Aside from the days following the establishment of Israel as  a nation in May 1948, the Six Day war in 1967, and the 1972 Yom Kippur War, Islamic aggression experienced an accelerated rebirth with Yassir Arafat and the Islamic/Arab/Russian support of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, a terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

Aided by U.S. presidents Jimmy Carter and the immediate past “president,” Islam has fully blossomed into an all out assault on Western nations and Israel through organized terror groups: al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and more. All the while, terrorist leaders, dressed as diplomats, have played the “Islam is a religion of peace” card.

The Islamic State and Islamic-sponsored terror has caused a historic migration, refugee resettlement and colonization of Western nations by Muslims. This new Islamic invasion has been welcomed by globalist leaders in Europe and the US, whose political correctness has allowed Islam to achieve what the Ottoman Empire could not-an invasion of the West. Their weapons of invasion were political correctness and sympathy; their weapon of conquering is terrorism.

Political leaders seem unable to keep themselves from appeasing this evil beast. They ignore its culture of death and turn a blind eye to the control it has on its followers.

Proverbs 10:21 says, “Fools die for the want of wisdom.” The foolish leadership of these times may bring destruction upon many.”

President Trump’s Message to Islam :: By Bill Wilson

In his first major foreign policy speech, the previous “president”  immediately ventured into the heart of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and essentially agreed to partner with the terrorist organization to overthrow many governments in the Middle East through the Arab Spring. While he didn’t say that specifically, the destabilization of the Middle East was the result.

This was a new direction for America in foreign policy regarding terrorism; that the U.S. was not at war with Islam and never would be, according the ex-“president.” At the same time, he fudged history saying that Islam and America share a rich history together. In reality, it is a sordid and violent history. Enter President Donald Trump with a new message of nuance.

Trump went to Saudi Arabia where some of the most extreme Islamic violence is taught and exported through Wahhabism; yet many American politicians turn a blind eye to this as they pony up to Saudi money and influence. President Trump was polite, but he had a different message to the Arab world than his predecessor.

He said, “America is a sovereign nation and our first priority is always the safety and security of our citizens. We are not here to lecture, we are not here to tell other people how  to live, what to do, who to be, or how to worship. Instead, we are here to offer partnership  based on shared interests and values—to pursue a better future for us all.”

Our president  also made terror-which is nearly exclusive to Islam, a central theme of his speech:

But above all we must be united in pursuing the one goal that transcends every other consideration. That goal is to meet history’s great test—to conquer extremism and vanquish the forces of terrorism…God’s help, this summit will mark the beginning of the end for those who practice terror and spread its vile creed. At the same time, we pray this special gathering may someday be remembered as the beginning of peace in the Middle East – and maybe, even all over the world. But this future can only be achieved through defeating terrorism and the ideology that drives it.

He invoked “God” several times without defining who God is (allah or YHVH) and allowed each hearer of his message to personally determine who God is. But it was clear when he said that ending terrorism means “standing together against the murder of innocent Muslims, the oppression of women, the persecution of Jews and the slaughter of Christians.” He said that religious leaders who choose the path of terror will have empty, brief lives and their souls “will be condemned.”

Trump continued as did his predecessors to gloss over the huge theological differences between Islam and those of Jews and Christians, but he put a stake in the ground against terrorism and the practices of Islam. This is pragmatic and prophetic. Prophetic because he is saying emphatically that the support of terrorism is  a condemnation of the soul and the U.S will not tolerate the slaughter of innocents, as Islam calls for in its Koran.

In practicality, Trump is saying that the war against Jews and Christians is no longer acceptable or justified by actions that occurred centuries ago. Prophetically, he is saying America is back to supporting Israel against the extremism of Islam. Bottom line: God said of Israel in Genesis 12:3, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curses thee.” As a nation, we’ve had over a decade of declining relations with Israel and have suffered dire consequences for it. Now we have a chance to establish a different prophetic path.
