Is History Repeating with Democratic Party-Led Insurrection? :: By Bill Wilson

Flame‑throwing by political factions is on full display, from the LA riots to Democrats openly threatening the legitimacy of Donald Trump’s 2024 landslide win.

Voters handed Trump a clear mandate—and yet, history’s messy undertones are back.

In 1860, the Democratic Party fought to preserve slavery—not out of principle, but to protect their cheap labor machine. Southern Democrats like James H. Hammond famously defended this as the way societies needed a “mudsill,” a lower class forced to perform menial work so the upper classes could thrive. After emancipation, sharecropping and Jim Crow laws stepped into slavery’s shoes, so the cheap‑labor structure stayed intact. Fast forward to today…

Democrats fiercely oppose deportations of undocumented workers—not simply over rights, but over preserving a modern “cheap labor” cohort. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) admitted illegal immigrants do work where college grads won’t—such as picking crops and cleaning hotel rooms. Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT) put it crudely: without migrant labor, “we’re not going to have anyone around to wipe our asses.”

A party that once fought a war to keep slave labor now resists ending illegal immigration—partly because they’d lose an essential labor base. They’re fanning flames over deportations, fueling protests in a bid to resist enforcement. LA’s anti‑ICE riots aren’t outliers—they are longstanding tactics of leaders looking to block federal authority under Trump.

Democrats are framing deportations as existential threats, even as Trump enforces election mandates. Strike a chord with Breitbart contributor and Author John Nolte points out how modern progressives are weaponizing social unrest—riot, rebellion, disruption—to dismantle political installations they don’t like. In Nolte’s telling, protest becomes the art of insurrection, repeating the past’s ugly playbook.

Violence is being given a political proxy. Now we see federal borders as the flashpoint, and elected Democrats sign up for the show: “Don’t deport this,” “We need labor,” “We’ll protest if you try.” This is no accident. It’s calculated. They and the socialist, progressive organizations they support are planning such protests across the nation.

Trump won an overwhelming mandate in 2024. Yet Democrats, echoing their Civil War-era predecessors, are mobilizing forces to resist the law through protest, social pressure, and violent rhetoric.

When mobs become political tools, the rule of law loses.

History warns us: human labor at the expense of justice always leads to oppression and tyranny—whether under slavery, Jim Crow, or the riots of today.

The line between protest and insurrection is dangerously blurred.

Isaiah 59:13-14, says in speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood, “Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” This is what happens when leaders protect systems of exploitation.

May God have mercy on us. May we stand for what’s right.

LA Riots—Democrat Propaganda Vs Hard Truth :: By Bill Wilson

Violence erupted in LA after sweeping ICE raids targeted illegal immigrants. Protests quickly morphed into full-blown riots. Entire blocks in South LA. Compton and Boyle Heights saw fires, vandalism, smashed vehicles, and outright assaults on police and bystanders. Flash-bangs echoed into the night. Tear gas was thick in the air. In one broadcast, Australian reporter Lauren Tomasi was struck by a rubber bullet on live TV. This wasn’t a candlelight vigil. This was a public breakdown. But according to California’s Democratic leadership, there was nothing to see. Governor Gavin Newsom, Mayor Karen Bass, and US Rep. Nanette Barragán framed the unrest as “passionate civic action” or “peaceful assembly.”

Barragán went so far as to say there was “no violence” in her district—ignoring live coverage that contradicted her on nearly every claim. This isn’t just political airbrushing; it’s propaganda. And propaganda, by its nature, distorts truth and numbs public judgment.

It isn’t the first time a ruling class tried to control reality by denying it. In communist regimes—whether Soviet, Cuban, or Chinese—governments routinely deny visible famine, bloodshed, and injustice while flooding the airwaves with cheerful slogans. “Peaceful” protests, they’d say, as soldiers fired into crowds.

Democratic leadership in California is engaging in a modern version of the same tactic. These California Democrats may not control the media entirely, but they manipulate the narrative and a sympathetic media that is mostly registered Democrats, amplify it.

They all hope the public is too distracted, too passive, or too ideological to question what they see with their own eyes. The implications are dangerous.

If elected officials can claim that violence is peace, what else can they rebrand? A burning building becomes “community expression.” A mob attack is called “activism.” Law enforcement becomes “oppression.” The goal isn’t just to pacify the moment; it’s to reset what truth means altogether.

Illegal immigration is just the spark that becomes the dumpster fire of revolution. You can oppose ICE raids, demand reform, or advocate for immigrant rights without trying to overthrow law and order. But when facts are buried for the sake of optics, the damage spreads far beyond politics. It corrodes public trust. It breeds cynicism. And it leaves everyday Americans wondering who they can believe.

The prophet Jeremiah once warned of leaders who lulled people into a false sense of security. He wrote in Jeremiah 6:14,

“They have also healed the hurt of My people slightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.”

That’s exactly what’s happening in LA. While LA burned, the people were told to stay calm, that everything was under control. But it wasn’t.

There’s no peace without truth. And there’s no leadership without honesty. If leaders continue to declare “peace” while chaos rages, they should be removed.

Truth isn’t a political convenience; it’s a moral necessity. Christians must cling to it, speak it, and never accept its counterfeit.

As Proverbs 12:22 says, “The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy.”
