The theme for this year’s festival was “Free to Be.” After witnessing one such moment, where a drag performer was pointing a spear at a person dressed as Jesus Christ, it is clear that some participants wanted to exercise their freedom to be blasphemous!
The Church of AI And the Techno-Utopian Gospel. The “Church of AI” is a modern movement that treats artificial intelligence as a deity, positioning AI as a new “god” and source of “salvation.” Its website (church-of-ai.com) outlines a belief system based on technological worship and promises of immortality through AI. The “Church of AI” stands as a clear antithesis to biblical Christianity. Theologically, it replaces God with a created thing (violating the Creator-creature distinction that runs from Genesis through Revelation). Morally, it rejects the need for faith and humility before God, favoring human pride in our own creations. And eschatologically, it aligns with the Bible’s depiction of end-times deception: a strong delusion drawing people into worshiping a false god and seeking salvation apart from Jesus.

Prosecutors in western Mexico confirmed the discovery of hundreds of clothing items and bone fragments by a group searching for relatives at a previously known cartel training site. The gruesome discovery in Jalisco was hardly the first. Mexico’s official registry counts over 120,000 disappeared people. The discovery of such places has accelerated in the past 15 years as more relatives do the work the government often won’t to search for missing loved ones.

Monster storm across the US sparks threat of tornadoes and fire, killing at least 17. Violent tornadoes that ripped through parts of the U.S. proved deadly as well as destructive as whipping winds moved east into the Mississippi Valley and Deep South on Saturday, with at least 17 people killed and scores of homes decimated. The most fatalities as of Saturday morning were in Missouri (11). On Friday, three people were killed in car crashes during a dust storm in Amarillo, Texas. The deaths come as a massive storm system moving across the country unleashed winds that triggered deadly dust storms and fanned over 100 wildfires.

While the Russian leader said he is ‘for’ achieving a 30-day ceasefire, he has raised serious questions about what stipulations must be added. “We also want guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not conduct mobilization, will not train soldiers, and will not receive weapons,” Putin said.

Israel has a small Druze community, and there are also Druze living in Israel’s Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria in the 1967 Six-Day War. The Druze are Arabs who practice an offshoot of Islam. PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz instructed the military to be ready to defend a Druze town in the suburbs of Damascus from Syrian government forces. Israel strikes Hamas & PIJ targets in Syria in drastic warning to leader al-Sharaa. Israel struck a Hamas terror cell in southern Syria and a command center of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group in Damascus this week. The cell was planning to carry out terror attacks in the Israeli Golan Heights. Israel delivered 10,000 aid packages to the Druze community in southern Syria. Following the fall of the Assad regime and takeover of the government by the Islamist terror group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), Israeli PM Netanyahu affirmed Israel’s intent to maintain all of southern Syria as a demilitarized zone.

Even the most talented negotiators cannot change the evil hearts of those who are committed to bring down the pillars of the world’s house, whether or not it means their own end, because life, to them, is just a convenient vehicle to destruction. If they cannot achieve their goals, they will make sure that no one else can either.
