Israel’s PM Lapid at UN: He said, “Israel will accept a Palestinian state on the condition it be peaceful.” It’s been many years since an Israeli PM spoke of two states (dividing Israel) when addressing the UN. He spoke of how Israel giving up Gaza for peace in 2005 turned out to be disastrous, so the solution must be peaceful this time. He declared that “an agreement with the Palestinians, based on two states for two peoples, is the right thing for Israel’s security…” Seriously? Gaza was basically a ‘Palestinian’ state, and look what they did. They elected Hamas, a terrorist organization bent on the destruction of Israel. What makes Lapid think further dividing Israel will work this time? He is most definitely deceived, as are all who agree with dividing Israel.
Biden also stated at the UN that a two-state solution is best to ensure Israel’s security and prosperity. He called Lapid’s decision “courageous.”
Netanyahu responded to Lapid’s speech, saying, “Lapid has already said in the past that he is ready to ‘evacuate 90,000 Israelis to establish a Palestinian state. Now he intends to give them a state of terror in the heart of the country, a state that will threaten us all.” Naftali Bennet also criticized Lapid.
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape” (2 Thessalonians 5:3). Taiwan: A 6.4 quake struck on Sept 18, then a 6.8 struck on Sept 19. One died, and 146 were injured in the sparsely populated area.
Powerful 7.6 earthquake hits Michoacan, Mexico, on fateful anniversary, killing at least 2. It struck on Sept 19, the anniversary of two other devastating quakes. (Thousands were killed in the Sept 19, 1985 quake, and over 350 died in the Sept 19, 2017 quake). On Sept 22, a 6.8 quake struck the same area, causing at least two more deaths.
