Pope to LGBT Catholics: ‘God is Father who does not disown any of his children.’ This pope of dark sentences is deceiving homosexuals instead of telling them the truth that would save them. In a letter from Pope Francis, addressed to Jesuit priest Fr. James Martin (who promotes leftist causes including the LGBTQ+ agenda, Francis responded to questions frequently asked by LGBT Catholics and their families. The pope said the most important thing for LGBT people to know about God is that He “does not disown any of his children,” adding that a church that is selective of its members is a “sect.” To LGBT persons who have felt rejected by the Church, the pope said to recognize the rejection as not coming from the Church itself, but from certain people within it. “The church is a mother and calls together all her children,” he continued.
First of all, the church is not “a mother.” The church is not a building or a denomination. The church is the body of Christ—those who have sincerely placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 12:13.
And secondly, homosexuality is a particularly grievous sin: “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting” (Romans 1:24:29).

The children’s ages range from 1 month to 16 years. However, over 75% of cases are among children under age 5. So far, none tested positive for known hepatitis A, B, C, D, or E, suggesting a new strain.

Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary in Montana is where animals that can no longer live on their own in the wild are taken in. Now, the wildlife sanctuary needs rescuing after flooding temporarily caused closure of all entrances. The Yellowstone area received four times the normal amount of rainfall since the beginning of June, with one month’s worth of rain falling June 12. The National Park Service Director announced a $50 million emergency funding plan to begin recovery efforts after what was called a “1-in-500-year event.”
Millions in Bangladesh and India await relief after deadly flooding. Authorities in flood-hit Bangladesh and northeastern India scrambled Monday to provide aid to over 9 million people marooned after the heaviest rains in years have killed at least 54 people across both nations. Russia says it’s ready for ‘big, colossal war’ with NATO. Russian Army Major General Andrei Gurulyov said Russia is preparing for everything, including “a big colossal war” with NATO, should the current conflict in Ukraine escalate. Gurulyov said NATO “made their move. Now it’s our turn. How will we respond to these challenges? We should respond the same way.” Gurulyov then said, “all modern means should be provided to our armed forces.” The Russian general said Russian forces still have much of Ukraine left to subdue before its forces move far enough west to reach Ukraine’s border with Poland; but, Gurulyov said, Russia’s military production is increasing, and once Russian troops reach the western edge of Ukraine, “We have to consider every option up to a big colossal war and be ready for it.” “Are we ready?” Gurulyov added. “We’re ready.”

Iran is escalating its uranium enrichment further by preparing to use advanced IR-6 centrifuges at its underground Fordow site that can more easily switch between enrichment levels. The 166-machine cascade is the only one to have so-called “modified sub-headers,” which make it easier to switch to enriching to other purity levels. Western diplomats have long pointed to that equipment as a source of concern since it could enable Iran to quickly enrich to higher levels.
