A July report stated that in a 200-day span, 3,462 Christians had been hacked to death by Nigerian Jihadists, 3,000 Christians had been abducted, and 300 churches attacked. Nigeria has entered the top 10 of Open Doors’ 2021 World Watch List of the world’s 50 most dangerous countries for Christians.
HATRED OF JEWS AND ISRAEL
Demo-crats move to file resolution that may result in barring Jews from Jerusalem Holy Sites. Representative Andy Levin (Demo-crat, Michigan) filed the “Two-State Solution Act” with Congress. Levin, who is Jewish, stated that the resolution “marked the end of the High Holy Days.” Levin’s resolution could result in Jews being barred from the Biblical heartland, a region Levin referred to as “the occupied Palestinian territories.” The resolution was co-sponsored by anti-Israel “Jewish” organizations, J-Street and Peace Now. J-Street is backed by billionaire currency manipulator George Soros – Jews that are traitors to their own people and obviously have no regard for God’s Word.

Islam’s hired killers: Iran contracts mercenaries to target Israelis in Cyprus. Cypriot authorities arrested an Azeri national on suspicion that he was hired to target Israelis. Several mercenaries have been following a well-known businessman and his associates in the island nation. A news report says Iranians had contracted several mercenaries with the aim of killing and potentially abducting businessmen based in Cyprus.

Taliban carries out executions, amputations as punishments under Islamic Sharia law as part of their rule in Afghanistan. “Cutting off of hands is very necessary for security,” said Mullah Turabi, the Taliban’s chief enforcer of Sharia Law. “…we will make our laws [based] on the Quran,” he said. The punishments may be carried out publicly. Recent photos/videos suggest they’re killing 30 to 40 at a time. Afghan Christians are subject to Sharia’s deadliest consequences.

And that’s news which is not good for Israel.” An Iranian bomb is the Shi’ite government’s highest goal,” he said. “They want to get there – and they will get there, any way possible.”

Fire devastates Honduras’ Caribbean resort island of Guanaja. A huge fire destroyed or damaged more than 200 houses and businesses on the Honduran island on Saturday, forcing hundreds of residents to flee for safety and ravaging the tourism-dependent resort.

Strong quake hit Greek island of Crete; 1 dead, 20 injured on Sept 27. Homes and churches were damaged. The quake was said to be a 5.8 or 6.0.
Erupting Spanish island volcano blows open new fissure. The lava has so far destroyed or partially destroyed over 1,000 buildings, including homes and farming infrastructure, and entombed around 709 hectares (1,750 acres). A new area of solidified lava where the molten rock is flowing into the sea extends over 20 hectares (50 acres).
Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano erupts. CBS Honolulu affiliate KGMB-TV said the eruption was “creating fountains up to 100 feet tall and thick plumes of smoke – flooding the floor of Halemaumau Crater.” Officials say that no homes are in danger currently, but “volcanic gas and heavy vog (form of air pollution) could become a concern. Officials also warned of rocks getting blasted from the crater as well as ‘Pele’s hair’ (tiny strands of fiberglass floating in the air).” Pele’s hair?! Seriously? Who can forget the 2018 disastrous eruption? And people were leaving flowers for Pele in an attempt to keep the volcano appeased. Those who worship false gods had better get right with the only true God.

Before They Were an Inconvenience, But Now the Shortages Are Really Beginning to Sting. Shortages wouldn’t be as severe if we could unload all the container ships backlogged at our ports. Right now, dozens are along the west coast waiting to be unloaded. There’s an extreme shortage of workers worldwide. We don’t even have enough people to drive our kids to school. This is the worst labor shortage the US has ever faced, and it will keep getting worse. This is just the beginning.

At a time when basic services are breaking down because of a lack of workers, the Biden administration has decided to make things even worse by imposing offensive new mandates on tens of millions of workers. As scores of qualified workers leave their posts, the problems we are facing right now could go to an entirely new level. But the US is only one piece of the overall puzzle. Everywhere in the world, there are alarming labor shortages, and we are being told that this is a crisis that isn’t going to be solved any time soon.

British medical journal The Lancet proudly announced on Twitter, “Our new issue is here!” The attached image of the issue cover stated: “Historically, the anatomy and physiology of bodies with vaginas have been neglected.” Along with the ghastly quote, the featured article also used the terms “menstruators” and “people who menstruate.” Out of sensitivity to a tiny fraction of the population who might not want to identify with their true sex, Lancet offended half the population. They effectively erased women and lost any remaining shred of scientific credibility in the process.

Black Lives Matter Killed 2,000 Black People. The Black Lives Matter movement and the allied criminal justice reform movement, which opened jails and decriminalized crimes, led to a nearly 30% surge in murders in 2020, an unprecedented increase. In the year of Black Lives Matter, black people were disproportionately likely to be killed as a result of police defunding and the George Floyd Effect, as well as the pressure on the justice system to open up prisons, free criminals, and stop arresting new criminals in the name of fighting for the big lie of racial justice.
Florida deputy dies after being shot by ex-Marine. Nassau Deputy Joshua Moyers, 29, was shot in the face and back Friday morning during a traffic stop. The gunman, Patrick McDowell, is still on the loose and considered dangerous. McDowell, 35, is believed to have shot a police dog on his trail also. “This guy is dangerous,” Sheriff Leeper said, “If…he breaks into your home and you have a gun, blow him out the door ’cause he’s like a rabid animal.”

China’s coal shortage obliged it to seek alternative energy, chiefly liquefied natural gas (LNG) for heating. This is one reason why oil prices are surging around the world. Industrial businesses that might normally rely on LNG are, amid competition from China, seeking to use oil as an alternative. A harsh winter would make matters worse, which is why some analysts expect the price of oil will hit $90 a barrel before year’s end.

The Next Financial Crisis Could Accelerate Prophetic Events. Excerpt from Britt Gillette’s article: When the next economic downturn arrives, it will be in the form of a severe global depression. In times of chaos and economic instability, dangerous political leaders and demagogues often rise to power. They capture the public imagination with promises to end the chaos and restore stability. Past economic crises led to events such as the rise of Napoleon, the launch of the Bolshevik Revolution, and the consolidation of German state power in the hands of Adolph Hitler. All these events had grave consequences for the entire world, not just the individual nations involved. Why should this time be any different?
The Bible describes just such a scenario in the end times. Revelation 6 says an entire day’s wages will barely buy enough food to survive (Revelation 6:5-6). This describes a world ravaged by hyperinflation, and it’s the backdrop against which the Antichrist makes his drive for global conquest (Revelation 6:3-4). Ultimately, the Antichrist will implement a global economic system that requires the people of the world to worship him. The Bible says he will require everyone on earth to receive a mark, and no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark (Revelation 13:17).
We see the beginnings of this system today as paper currencies give way to digital currencies. Once this transition is complete, government will be able to control all buy/sell transactions, just as the Bible foretold. This is one of the many Tribulation events casting its shadow on our day and time. Along with the restoration of Israel (Jeremiah 23:7-8) and the many signs Jesus and prophets said to look for, all these events are converging for the first time in history. Jesus said when you see this happen, you can know His return is soon (Luke 21:28). So rather than hang your head at the trials and sorrows set to come upon the world, lift your eyes to heaven.
