In China: Coronavirus quarantine hotel collapses on Saturday, trapping 70 people. It was being used for people under quarantine who’d been exposed to the virus. At least 35 have been rescued as of this writing. No reason for the collapse was given.
In Tennessee: Six tornadoes hit Monday night and early Tuesday morning. The twisters that caused destruction in Middle Tennessee on March 3, particularly in Nashville, were EF-3 and EF-4, with powerful winds up to 282 km/h (175 mph). There were 25 confirmed fatalities, over 150 injured. At least 48 buildings were destroyed. One of the tornadoes stayed on the ground for over 60 miles.
In Kentucky: An EF-2 tornado hit Alvaton just after midnight Tuesday morning. The twister’s path was about 2 miles long. Initial assessment said 15 homes were damaged. No injuries were reported. Also, an EF-1 tornado touched down in Christian County.
In New York: Intense lake effect snow wallops Upstate New York, encasing homes in a thick layer of ice on Feb. 28, leaving areas along Lake Erie entirely covered in ice – some areas up to 4 m (12 feet) thick. Residents described conditions as surreal, remarking that it was the first time ice coatings had been that severe.
In Ireland and UK: Storm Jorge lashes flood-hit parts of Ireland and UK after wettest February on record. Flood-stricken areas in the UK and Ireland faced further disruptions after Storm Jorge brought heavy downpours and strong winds on Feb. 29. Amid the extremes, the UK just saw its wettest February on record and fifth wettest of any month on record. For the UK, this winter is thus far the fifth wettest and fifth mildest winter season ever.
In Australia: Ex-tropical Cyclone “Esther” dumps a month’s worth of rain on Melbourne– city’s highest March rainfall since 1929. This occurred March 5, resulting in widespread flooding and major damage to buildings. The city recorded 54.6 mm (2.1 inches) of rain in a 24-hour period.
In Vietnam: Severe storms left 5 people dead, over 350 homes destroyed and 6,800 damaged. Tornadoes, heavy rain, and thunderstorms struck on March 3 and 4.
In Japan: Black Rain Fell in a Japan City. Officials in central Japan promise to get to the bottom of a mysterious soot-colored rain that coated the city of Hasuda and surrounds on Monday.
Brazil since mid-January has had intense weather since mid-January. Heavy rainstorms in the Southeast Region caused widespread flooding and landslides in Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro, associated with Subtropical Storm Kurumí. Belo Horizonte reported its highest rainfall in over 110 years. As of January 30, at least 70 people had died with 18 missing, 30,000 to 46,500 people displaced.
In Brazil in February, amid Carnival celebrations in Rio (through the four days before so-called Catholic Ash Wednesday), a beer company tried to keep revelers dry. An airplane painted with Skol’s brand spritzed water droplets into clouds to try to make rain fall earlier than the clouds reached the town. A number of revelers ended up leaving the beer stand for a venue that promoted plastic rain ponchos. “Only God can control the weather,” stated the poncho man. Thunderstorms often show up uninvited to Carnival in Brazil. Authorities in Rio used to share meteorological data with a group of spiritual mediums who claimed to have rain-dispelling powers. That ended when an evangelical mayor was elected in 2016.
In Brazil, End of February into March: At least 32 people have died since Sunday as heavy rains have swamped Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, with more rain predicted and mudslides still possible. Dozens are still unaccounted for, and more than 5,000 have been displaced.

On Thursday, a man was killed in an alleged Israeli drone strike while driving his motorcycle in the Quneitra region of Syria. Syrian regime sources claim he was a civilian. But according to other unconfirmed reports, the man was Emad al-Tawil, a Hezbollah operative active in establishing and entrenching a covert force in the Syrian Golan Heights that is designed to act against Israel.
Deadly clashes erupt in Syria’s Idlib hours into ceasefire deal between Russia and Turkey aimed at ending the fighting in the last rebel-held enclave in Syria. The fighting broke out between Syrian government forces and jihadist insurgents of the Turkistan Islamic Party. Fifteen were killed.
France Sends Warships in Support of Greece Against Turkish Aggression. France is sending warships to the Mediterranean for joint drills with Greek and Cypriot vessels as President Emmanuel Macron condemned Turkey for exacerbating regional tensions, for not only signing the agreement with Libya on the delineation of maritime zones but also interfering in the civil war in the country.

Last month, Jeffrey Sachs, the American economist and population control proponent told a Vatican workshop on the Global Education Pact, that the project should seek funding from individuals and organizations including U.S. billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates, China’s wealthiest business magnate, UNESCO, the EU, various United Nations agencies, and the Islamic Development Bank.

We Bible-believing Christians rightfully disagree with the unbiblical “doctrines of men” teachings of Catholicism, but even Catholic writers quoted here are aghast at Pope Francis’ plans. From Judi McLeod of Canada Free Press: “All Marxist-inspired projects are introduced in a fashion that can be best described as cunning. The ‘Sickness of the Soul’ set to infect the entire Christian world… is benignly being called the ‘Global Education Pact’ that will usher in a ‘new humanism.'”
From David Martin of Canada Free Press: Archbishop Vincenzo Zani, who has been tasked with organizing the event, explains the vision behind this ‘new humanism,’ saying that God ‘withdraws’ in order that man might be free.”
Zani says, “The Christian idea is that of Creation, and it is not only Christian. The idea belongs to the three monotheistic religions. Therefore, that is the very important root. The rest comes from it. It’s the centrality of the person. God creates but then withdraws. He leaves man, saying, ‘Go!’… And so this is how we conceive of the Educational Pact, but we need to agree because we have a global problem: the care of creation, of the future of the world.“
[No matter the cunning words Zani goes on to say in his explanation, those with discernment should be able to smell the real agenda behind this. The education initiative is a continuation of the pope’s global vision laid out in his ‘Imagine World’ Document on the Human Brotherhood for World Peace and Common Living Together also signed by Islam’s Grand Imam of Al-Azhar.
The Catholic website “LifeSite” also disagrees with this coming “manifesto.” Many of the world’s wealthiest globalist “population controllers” and nature worshipers plan to attend this event. In this Global Education Pact, David Martin says, Francis “subjects children to the wiles of globalists that seek to educate them in the ways of Satan.” The mere fact that the global education pact will receive an estimated $26 billion a year in funding from pro-abortion globalists like Bill Gates and George Soros is enough reason to decry this to the heavens…. ‘Freedom’ from God is a coming ‘Sickness of the Soul’ that requires worldwide prayer; a worldwide prayer that cries out to the Heavens: “Deliver us from evil, O Lord!”
