The Fields are Ripe for Harvesting

Extreme Weather

The Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast was deluged by drenching rain Wednesday night into Thursday with some places seeing a month’s precipitation in 24 hours. The heavy rains sparked flash flooding, which is being blamed for at least one death, and triggered chaos across the south-central US where an outbreak of severe weather also erupted, leading to reports of at least four tornadoes touching down in Louisiana. Meanwhile, tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is expected to fuel more rounds of rain through the weekend and exacerbate flash flooding across southeastern Texas and southwestern Louisiana. As much as 3 to 5 inches of rain could fall on a daily basis, and some areas may be hit with a foot or more of rain from the multi-day event.

The Bonnet Carré Spillway, which diverts water from New Orleans to keep the city dry, was opened for the second time this year, the first time that has occurred since it was built following the epic 1927 flood. The fresh water flooding in has had a devastating effect on crabs and oysters and on those who make a living by fishing for them. Should the worst-case scenario of rainfall from a budding tropical feature in the western Gulf of Mexico develop, levels on the lower Mississippi could approach that of the Great Flood of 1927. Meteorologists are keeping a close watch on this system.

As waters reach levels seldom seen along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, and reach new heights along portions of the Arkansas and Illinois rivers, the risk of more levee failures and flooding will continue in the coming days and weeks.

Over 500 homes in Arkansas have been affected by the flooding and several bridges have been temporarily closed, stopping barge traffic and costing the state over $20 million in economic losses every day. Heavy rainfall over the past few weeks in the heartland of the US shattered all-time May records, swelling rivers to record levels in parts of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. So far, 10 locations have set new record river levels during this prolonged siege of heavy rain.

Floodwater rushing toward the rising Mississippi forced the US Army Corps of Engineers to consider opening the rarely used Morganza Spillway to divert part of the river’s flow, but it’s been postponed…at least for now. This is good news for farmers whose crops would have been lost by spillway flooding. The Mississippi River has been above flood stage in Louisiana for over four months at some points, the most consecutive days in modern history.

In California, the amount of snow blanketing the Sierra Nevada is 202% of the average for this time of year after a barrage of storms throughout winter and spring.

A rescue boat overturned in the Atlantic off the west coast of France leaving three crew dead, amid winds of up to 129 km/h (80 mph) during Storm Miguel.

Most of the Rio Grande Valley in the US has either been under a heat advisory or excessive heat warning that will continue through this weekend.

In Arizona, a still-burning fire has so far consumed 7,200 acres in Tonto National Forest. It is said to be human-caused, with no other information mentioned.

Earthquakes/Volcanoes

A Tuesday report stated that over 240 earthquakes struck California and Nevada in 24 hours. The West Coast gets hit by quakes every day, but this is an unusually high number. Most of the earthquakes have been very small, but a couple were greater than 3.0.

Caltech seismologist Egill Hauksson said, “This is probably the most prolific swarm in that area of the Fontana seismic zone that we’ve seen in the past three decades.” There have been more than 700 earthquakes recorded in the Fontana area since May 25, ranging from 0.7 to 3.2, on Wednesday Three of the quakes have been of magnitude 3 or greater. The swarm initially moved northward, but something unusual began Friday when the swarm turned around and went south, back toward the middle of the activity and the 60 Freeway.

A 6.3 earthquake occurred off the coast of Japan on June 4.

In Russia, the Bolshaya Udina volcano in the far eastern corner of the country that was previously considered extinct may be waking up. A sizable eruption could affect the climate in “completely different parts of the world.” Ash released by the eruption could spread beyond Russia.

Apostasy and Doctrines of Demons

Laodicean “Christians” in the Philippines, who started the ‘I’m Sorry’ movement several years ago to apologize to the LGBTQ+ community, is still going around apologizing. Freedom in Christ Ministries in the Philippines tells them God accepts them just as they are and will bless their unions.

Famous American Catholic hymnist David Haas whose songs are sung in Catholic churches across the continent every Sunday composed a chant to celebrate homosexuality.

In Australia, top-tier Catholic schools are pushing for a feminist interpretation of the Bible. Students are taught God is gender-neutral. Words like Father, Son and Lord are banned from prayers.

Hatred Against God

Democrats controlling the U.S. House of Representatives have removed “so help me God” from the oath witnesses take before testifying before several of the committees they control, months after backing down from a proposal from one committee to strike the phrase.

Hatred of God’s Covenant People, the Jews

A San Francisco man, Steven Johnson, landscaped a giant swastika into his yard pavement. He also was asked about the swastika sticker on his motorcycle, at which point he told reporters to get out of his yard

Hatred of Christians

In Canada, street preacher, David Lynn, was arrested for evangelizing in Toronto’s “gay village. He was charged for disturbing the peace after a crowd mobbed him. He is now out on bail, and is barred from “Pride” events and the homosexual district.

Devaluing Human Life

The Illinois Senate has now passed an abortion bill worse than New York’s. As I discussed last week, it eliminates all protection for preborn children, allows infanticide, removes conscience protection laws for health care workers, allows taxpayer funding for abortions. repeals the previous ban on gruesome partial birth abortions, and allows minors to obtain abortions without parental approval. It also allows gender selection in deciding to abort

Late-term abortions are not being done to protect women’s health, former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino said this week. That excuse is a sham (early delivery yes, but never abortion). He said, “As a former abortionist, I vividly remember a 17-year-old who presented requesting her fifth abortion. She unequivocally stated that she wanted the abortion so she would not be pregnant for her senior prom.

With the battle over abortion heating up, some pharmacists say the Plan B morning-after abortion pill is flying off the shelves. They say they’re having trouble keeping the over-the-counter medication in stock.

Teen Vogue writer Nona Willis Aronowitz explained to teenaged readers how to get abortions without parental consent in a question and answer post Thursday.

In an article this past week, The New York Times chose to describe an unborn child’s detectable heartbeat as “embryonic pulsing.”

In the Netherlands, Noa Pothoven, 17, has been legally euthanized, saying the pain she was dealing with after a childhood rape was “insufferable.”

An internationally recognized euthanasia expert known as “Dr. Death” has invented an “elegant and stylish” death pod in the shape of a coffin that users can climb into, push the “die button,” and meet their demise “within minutes” as liquid nitrogen quickly lowers the oxygen level.

A bit of good news: The Trump administration has ended federal research using human fetal tissue. The Department of Health and Human Services cited “the dignity of human life” as a “top priority.”

Sexual Immorality

In Wisconsin, a transgender teacher is accused of showing a “coming out” video to every classroom at a Wisconsin elementary school where he works— kindergartners through fifth graders.

“Progressives” have driven California into the ground, turning it into a morally bankrupt, sexually deviant hellscape of socialism and oppression. California’s controversial new sex ed guidance contains advice that reads like it was written by a college fraternity.” “It’s shocking,” Rebecca Friedrichs, the founder of For Kids & Country, said when describing the condom relay races 10- and 11-year-old girls have been participating in at schools where, in front of boys, they’re taught how to put a condom on a model of an erect adult male penis. Students as young as 11 are also being taught to engage in risky sexual acts, such as experimenting with oral and anal sex with their “partner.”

The Left is normalizing pedophilia right in front of our eyes. “Twitter announced it has “zero tolerance” for child sexual exploitation, yet it has allowed this video (see link inside the article) from Vice, portraying and glorifying child sexual exploitation, to remain on its platform. The Vice video shows a “community” of young boys who dress in women’s clothing and dance for the perverted entertainment of adults.”

YouTube’s automated video recommendation system has been allowing otherwise innocent videos of children to be categorized with those preferred by pedophiles.

June is pride month for LGBTQ’s with celebrations going on around the world.

When Rhode Island Bishop Tobin tweeted a warning to his diocese cautioning against participation in LGBT “Pride” events during so-called “Pride Month,” and said they encourage a culture that is especially harmful to children, an international backlash against him quickly erupted.

Twitter suspended an account (with the handle @TheTweetOfGod) that spoke against Catholic bishops who are sex abusers.

In Israel, Amir Ohana has been appointed as justice minister, making him Israel’s first openly gay cabinet minister.

The Huff n’Puff Fluff (Huff Post) posted an article saying “women aren’t the only ones getting abortions. Transgender and other gender-nonconforming folks get abortions too. But no one’s discussing how the recent abortion bans will affect them.” Seriously?

The Washington State Supreme Court has ruled against Christian florist Barronelle Stutzman in a same-sex wedding case. “The state not only went after Barronelle’s business but also sued her in her personal capacity—putting all her personal assets, including her life savings, at risk.” She has appealed to the US Supreme Court.

In Los Angeles, Naasón Joaquín García, the leader of a Mexican “Christian” church that boasts over 1 million worldwide followers, was busted along with a group of other affiliates of the international religious organization on charges of human trafficking, child rape, child pornography and other crimes.

Michael Comeau, principal of the Holy Family Catholic School in Louisiana, has resigned after being arrested at a strip club in Washington, D.C. on a school field trip. While the students were in their hotel rooms for the evening with other chaperones, he headed to the strip club. Before the night was over, he was charged with public intoxication and possession of an open container of alcohol after being accused of refusing to pay his bill.

Lawlessness

Arkansas State Senator, Linda Collins-Smith, was shot and killed in her home. She was working with a DHS insider to expose the missing $27M from DHS/Child Protective Services.

Authorities in several states are warning about an alleged scam in which people visit senior-living communities and low-income neighborhoods, offering to perform DNA tests and collecting information from people in government health programs. This appears to be a new twist on an old tactic, in which people are tricked into giving away personal information or participating in medical services they don’t need. Perpetrators of such schemes can bill the government for unneeded medical tests and procedures, or use the information they collect, such as Medicare and Medicaid identification data, to commit identity theft and fraud.

Pestilence/Plague/Disease/Famine

In California, Sprint was forced to shut down a cellphone tower located outside of a school in Sacramento. At least four children in the school have developed cancer since it was installed. This specific cancer is caused by something in the environment. Parents were also upset that Sprint provided the school district with a kickback of $2,000 a month for allowing the tower on their property.

Tech experts are downplaying the possible danger of the latest 5G technology, but others are warning about it.

A young and healthy Texas couple, David and Michelle Paul, have died from a mysterious virus while vacationing in Fiji despite medical intervention. The couple’s children were with relatives, but their beloved dachshund was left at an unknown kennel and could not immediately be located. An investigation into the cause of their deaths is ongoing, but a recent World Health Organization alert warns of a deadly influenza strain, including in Fiji where it is “particularly affecting young adults.”

Medieval disease (typhus) spreading in Los Angeles proves how twisted Democrat priorities endangers public health. They are turning America’s big cities into petri dishes for disease, specifically on the West Coast.

In England, Gonorrhea diagnoses have risen to their highest level in 40 years and jumped 26% since 2017.

More than 1 million new cases of sexually transmitted diseases are contracted every day around the planet, according to the World Health Organization. The group released research Thursday says there are over 376 million new cases annually of four infections — chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, and syphilis.

Supposedly, the number of measles cases in the US this year has reached 1,001.

Food shortages and higher prices? While the Midwest USA farm-belt is waterlogged, seriously affecting crops, other regions of the globe suffer drought, most notably Australia, a major grain producer. Adding to the shortfall of grains, the Philippines is experiencing a major drought, devasting the current rice crop. Another country being hit by severe drought is North Korea. Peoples’ Republic of China is in the midst of the worst infestation of deadly African Swine Fever across the entire China pig population.

Over four million Venezuelans have fled their socialist country amid economic and humanitarian crisis. The pace of people fleeing has “skyrocketed” since the end of 2015, with around one million leaving in the last seven months alone. Venezuela’s imploding economy has meant shortages of basic supplies, such as food and medicines, in recent years. The crisis has deepened this year amid a bitter power struggle between the government and opposition.

Agenda to Take Down the US, The Only Nation Standing in the Way of the Globalists

Border Disorder

House Democrats voted to pass a bill that would grant amnesty to 2.5 million resident illegals.

Border Patrol agents have apprehended over 500 African migrants illegally entering the US from Mexico in the last week, at just one section of the border. Those caught included nationals from Angola, Cameroon, and the Congo (where the Ebola outbreak is spreading).

Brian Kolfage, the veteran who started the We Build The Wall organization, revealed that cartel gunmen approached border wall construction crews brandishing rifles, seeking to intimidate them and prevent them from continuing the construction.

A captured ISIS fighter detailed how the terrorist group planned on exploiting vulnerabilities in the US border with Mexico to take advantage of smuggling routes and to target financial institutions. Abu Henricki, a Canadian with dual Trinidadian citizenship, said that he was sought out to attack the US from a route starting in Central America.

Mexican drug cartels have headquarters throughout the United States and are one of the country’s greatest criminal, national security and public health threats. “The cartels engage in beheadings, car bombings, dissolving humans in acid, mass murders, torture, bombings and political assassinations. Their actions are consistent with the behaviors of traditional terrorists and they have infiltrated the highest levels of the Mexican government with bribes and corruption.”

As of last year, the Taliban controlled or contested 46% of the districts in Afghanistan’s civil war. That was enough to keep the US military engaged there in combat. Yet, 80% of Mexico’s territory is controlled by dangerous cartels, including all key smuggling routes at our border, and the cartels are orchestrating all illegal immigration into our territory and bringing their members back and forth across our own border.

Mexican senator, Félix Salgado Macedonio, took to Twitter to propose taking back territory the US won in the Mexican-American War in the 19th century. “Mexicans are in our territory (California, Nevada, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming). We are going to recover our territory that was stolen,” he said.

A bit of good news so far: Washington, D.C., district court Judge McFadden threw out the House Democrats’ lawsuit over President Trump’s use of emergency military funds for the border wall. He said the matter is fundamentally a political dispute and the politicians lack standing to make a legal case.

Tons of Traitors

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told Democrats she’d like to see President Trump “in prison.” She met with top Democrats who are clawing and gnashing their teeth, and doing all they can to try to impeach the president and get back in power come hell or high water (meaning regardless of any great difficulty or obstacle). Well, we’ve got the high water in our heartland. Wonder what’s next….

Leftist billionaires are using their Dark Money to sway Midwest voters. The Left isn’t above stealing, cheating, and rigging elections. But that’s exactly what’s happening.

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) called for immediate release of “all backup and source information” for the Mueller report after internet sleuth Rosie Memos discovered that the special counsel’s office deceptively edited content which was then cited as evidence of possible obstruction. “It’s all a fraud” tweeted Nunes.

CNN (Corrupt News Network) insinuated that the “Special Day of Prayer for President Trump” was “White Evangelical Day.” Daniel Burke kept stressing the term “white evangelicals.” Yet evangelicals come in all colors. Another example of the hypocrisy of the Left. Prayer is powerful, and the Deep State and their “progressive”/socialist surrogates know that. And they hate it! And, of course, part of their takedown agenda is dividing the races.

From Israel’s Arutz Sheva: America’s social fabric is fraying at the seams: one-sided biased news coverage; refusal to accept election results; a special prosecutor finds no crime by the president, yet the House is bent on impeachment. Yes, NATO members were not paying their share of costs and were content to let the US pay more. The trade imbalance with China has been a rallying call for many years. Why the criticism now when the issue is finally being addressed? The refusal to support the UN Human Rights Council was long overdue as was support of UNRWA’s 71 years support of Gaza. Money given to the Hamas government for food, hospitals and schools is instead used for weapons against Israel. A US border wall is needed; the southern border is open with a free flowing, visa- free, stream of immigrants. An entirely illogical system.

It’s time to stop looking to the courts to come to the rescue in our most pressing policy disagreements. As we’ve seen, liberal court rulings are sending this country to hell in a handbasket. For a self-governing people, the proper solution requires us to show up for elections, public discussions, and meetings, all the while making a persuasive case for good policy from the start.

Islamization of the Nations

It’s amazing how the Left stands with Islam, when Sharia Law executes gays. The hypocrisy is astounding. Yet, there is also hypocrisy in Islam where Muslim men take young boys from playgrounds and groom them for sex. There are videos showing them as teens, dressed in women’s clothing and makeup dancing for these men. Then when these boys become adults, they get killed for being homosexual.

In Sunni Muslim Sudan, at least 40 bodies were pulled from the Nile River in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, organizers of pro-democracy protests said Wednesday, bringing the death toll since the violent dispersal of a sit-in outside the military’s headquarters to 100.

Terrorism

ISIS claimed responsibility for an attack in the Congo hit by an Ebola epidemic. The deputy mayor said 13 civilians were killed by a group thought to be linked to ISIS.

Demonic Delusion

Diana Pasulka, a professor at the University of North Carolina, describes how she sees the human relationship with aliens mirroring the birth of a new religion. “A lot of people see disaster on the horizon, and there’s a deep fear that we won’t be able to save ourselves,” she said. “So what will save us? Well, for some, it will be these advanced beings who come to us and tell us what we can do or how we can escape.”

Former US defense official Christopher Mellon said, “We know that UFOs exist. This is no longer an issue. The issue is why are they here? Where are they coming from and what is the technology behind these devices that we are observing?”

Nation (Ethnic) Against Nation (Ethnic)

Prominent South African farmer Stefan Smit was the latest white farmer to be murdered on his farm. His wife and friend survived the attack.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Several anti-aircraft missiles were fired from Syria toward the Golan Heights, Israeli military said Thursday. The incident comes after two rockets, targeting Israel’s only ski resort on Mount Hermon, were fired from Syrian territory late last Saturday.

Terrorist groups in Gaza have replenished their supplies of rockets, with 10,000 rockets ready to be fired at Israel. Last month, almost 700 rockets were launched at Israel, killing four and landing as far away as Beersheba.

Olli Heinonen, former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency Security Team, is warning Israel that, if present trends continue, Iran will have a nuclear weapon within the next 6 to 8 months.

With China ramping up their military forces, Republicans in the Senate want the Pentagon to rebuild America’s stockpile of missiles.

“Peace” Plan

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, speaking in a closed-door meeting about the US Mideast “peace” plan, emphasized that there are “no guarantees that we’re the ones that unlock” the deadlocked conflict.

White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, in an interview, stopped short of backing “Palestinian” statehood and expressed uncertainty over their ability to govern themselves. [They’ve already proven they can’t. Israel gave them Gaza and look what they did with it. Hamas terrorists took it over.]

Climate Change: Ruse for Global Governance

Al Gore is in Australia hawking his bogus climate change agenda – a push subsidized by taxpayers to the tune of $100,000 amid a dispute over a controversial coal mine. Resources Minister Matt Canavan said the move was an example of “hypocrisy” and said he hopes Gore “can hear the message of how our state’s fantastic coal creates jobs, powers the world and produces a better environment because it is cleaner.”

On June 18, the Vatican is going to release a statement concerning so-called “climate change.” One of the speakers to present the letter is Professor John Schnellnhuber, who has stated that the world is currently overpopulated by six billion people (there are seven billion people on the planet, so he obviously considers most humans a drain on the earth). He proposes an earth constitution and C02 budget for every person on earth – one world government that would include a global council and planetary court. In other words, an oppressive system of tyranny designed to place chains on people in exchange for “healing” the earth. Read more at this link.

Shavuot (Feast of Firstfruits) and Pentecost

Today was an important day for Jews and Christians – Shavuot to the Jews, and Pentecost to the Christians. During Shavuot (Festival of Firstfruits), the Jews celebrate the end of the barley harvest and beginning of the wheat harvest. When the Temple existed, the Jews would bring the firstfruits of the wheat harvest to the Temple as a wave offering to the Lord. This year, Shavuot began at sunset on June 8 and ends at sunset on June 10. Shavuot today is celebrated as the time the Jews were given the Torah on Mount Sinai; hence the day Judaism was born.

For Christians, it is the celebration of the day when the church began. As Jesus promised, He sent the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, on this day to His disciples comprised of both Jew and Gentile believers.

In John 4:27, Jesus’ disciples wondered why He would talk to a Samaritan woman. The Jews considered the Samaritans to be religious apostates who combined worship of the One true God with idols. But through Jesus’ teaching that one woman, knowledge spread.

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together” (John 4:35-36).

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest” (Matthew 9:35-38).

Yes, we, the bride of Christ, are weary. But let us be about our Father’s business, watching and warning and spreading the gospel until the day when the restraining power of the Holy Spirit will be removed, and we will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air before God’s wrath rains down on this unbelieving and wicked world.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds” (Hebrews 12:1-3).
