Apostasy, Avarice, and an Awful Agenda

Extreme Weather

In the US where it’s still fall, Winter Storm Diego crossed the US from the West coast in Southern California where several inches of snow fell, causing mudslides in burn areas. Rain is blamed for two deaths in a multi-car collision in Texas which also had flooding and over ten inches of snow Saturday night. Oklahoma also got over ten inches. As of this writing, snow is headed for northwest South Carolina in what’s being called a once-in-a-generation event. North Carolina is expected to be hit hard as well as Southern Virginia. Both states declared a state of emergency.

Storm Etienne and Storm Deidre have battered the UK with snow, ice, gale-force winds and heavy rain.

In Israel, the worst storm system so far this winter hit the coastal plain Thursday morning, closing roads, flooding streets, and forcing evacuation of a preschool by boat.

In Turkey, heavy rain, floods and hail pounded a resort town on Thursday, sweeping over cars and leaving residents in waist-deep water.

In Illinois, at least 26 tornadoes are confirmed to have touched down on December 1st, injuring dozens of people and causing much damage.

Earthquakes

In Alaska: Following last week’s 7.0 quake, almost 3,000 aftershocks have been recorded, some with high magnitudes, with no end in sight. Seismologists say aftershocks will last months, maybe years.

Pestilence/disease

A Las Vegas man, Shane Morgan, lost his vision, became partially paralyzed and has been unable to breathe without assistance since getting a flu shot last month.

In the Congo, deadly Ebola is so far showing no end in sight in its second-largest outbreak in history. Butembo, with over 1 million residents, is now reporting cases. Health experts are concerned whether the stock of an experimental vaccine will stand up to the demand.

Drugs

Oregon is taking steps to try and legalize hallucinogenic MAGIC mushrooms. If they’re successful, they’d be the first state to legalize their use. All hallucinogens carry the risk of triggering mental and emotional problems and causing accidents while under the influence. Some say magic mushrooms are “safer” and produce a “milder” trip than other hallucinogenics. However, in addition to their potential to poison anyone who takes them, magic mushrooms are just as unpredictable in their effects as other drugs. Some people have reported much more intense and frightening hallucinations on magic mushrooms than on LSD. The effects can be long-lasting.

Iniquity (Lawlessness, Wickedness) Shall Abound

In Massachusetts, six members of the MS-13 gang chopped up a 17-year-old with knives because they believed he was cooperating with law enforcement.

In Greece, rioters committed acts of violence against police on Thursday, the 10th anniversary of a fatal police shooting. (A 15-year-old teen was killed in 2008 during a late-night altercation in an area of bars and nightclubs. The policeman said he was not aiming at the boy, but a ricochet bullet hit him. The policeman was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. His appeals trial is ongoing. The second policeman present was sentenced to 10 years in prison and was granted conditional release several years ago).

Apostasy

In a study consisting of interviews with 3,000 adult “supposed” Christians, heretical beliefs were uncovered. 52% said most people are basically good; 51% believe God accepts worship of all religions, and 78% believe Jesus was a created by God. In fact, Jesus is not a created being; He is God the Son.

In Italy, A 10-year-old girl launched a petition to get Jesus’s name put back into a school’s Christmas song after it was left out so as not to offend non-Christians.  However, Jews have been in Italy for centuries, yet Christmas songs weren’t banned for them, nor did they demand it. This was obviously done to avoid offending Muslims.

In Austin, Texas, churches may be required to hire homosexual and transgender employees if a city ordinance is implemented.

Jesuit priest Fr. James Martin, an American who promotes the LGBT agenda and who was made a consultant to the Vatican’s Secretariat for Communications by Pope Francis, is promoting a rosary (prayer beads) that includes a row of rainbow colors for prayer that gays be fully accepted and prayer “for LGBT couples, their children, and extended families.” “I’ve seen many Rosaries like this, but this to me was the most beautiful,” said Martin.

After Archbishop Vigano exposed the homosexual network in the Vatican, the ever-confusing Francis is suddenly saying priests should leave if they act upon their homosexuality.  He renewed calls for celibacy. We remember that, in a meeting at the Vatican with Juan Carlos Cruz, a gay man from Chile who was a victim of clerical sexual abuse, Pope Francis said that God made him this way.

As we know, God does not create people to be homosexual but condemns the practice. And 1 Timothy 4 speaks of latter days (after Jesus’ ministry) doctrines of demons and the forbidding of marriage.

Two nuns are accused of embezzling as much as $500,000 from a California Catholic school for travel and gambling expenses.

More Promotion of the One-World Religion: Francis will visit Abu Dhabi in February for an interfaith meeting, the first Catholic pontiff to visit the United Arab Emirates. The RCC’s catechism #841 is a gigantic error, to put it mildly. It says “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.” Islam does not worship the God of the Bible, and their holy book promotes hatred and jihad against Jews and Christians.

Facebook features a video from Australia’s Current Affair on Australians converting to Islam. Meanwhile, many posts and pages from conservatives have been taken down from Facebook.

Returned Days of Noah and Lot

Read Matt Ward’s article on CRISPR when it gets published on the Rapture Ready site. It’s chilling! It’s more proof that we’re in the last days return to the days of Noah and Lot.

West Point, Virginia, high school teacher Peter Vlaming was fired Thursday for failing to use male pronouns to address a biologically female student. Vlaming was willing to use the student’s new name, but avoided using any pronouns to address or talk about the student in order to accord with his Christian faith. This isn’t the first time a teacher has been fired for “misgendering” a student. In England, teacher Joshua Sutcliffe allegedly congratulated two students on an accomplishment by saying, “well done girls,” one of whom was transgender. He was suspended before being fired in December 2017.

Betters on a bookie site believe the odds-on favorite to win the upcoming Miss Universe Pageant is Miss Spain, a transgender who goes by Angela Ponce. Ponce is not the first this year to be in a beauty contest. Vietnam and Mongolia also had a transgender in their pageant.

In Wales, General Practitioner Helen Webberley, who gave out sex-change hormones to children as young as 12, has been fined £14,000 after she was convicted of running an illegal online gender clinic from her home.

Not to be outdone by Good Morning America having a transgender child as a guest (with wild applause), Good Morning Britain had adult drag queen Bianca Del Rio stop by to talk about her upcoming UK tour, promote her book, and present the weather forecast. (We can already predict the weather: gloomy).

According to LGBT’s “Pink” News, 4,000 people were asked what they’d call the mythical “Father Christmas” if they could change the name. 10.6% would opt for a female Santa and 17.5% would opt for a gender-neutral Santa.

More “Pink” News: A New Zealand shopping center unveiled a gender fluid Santa as its Christmas display, dressed in knickers and fishnet hose.

Traitors

As always, the leftists go after President Trump for just about everything you can imagine. This time they’re bashing him for not reciting the Apostles’ Creed at Bush’s funeral. For one thing, you will not find an Apostle’s Creed in the Bible. Also, the creed states “I believe in the holy catholic church.” Though the claim is that catholic means universal, the first known reference to the creed was in a letter from the Council of Milan to the pope in the 4th century. And some recitations of the Apostle’s Creed say of Jesus, “He descended into hell.” No, he didn’t. The abode of the dead is separated by a great chasm. Jesus went to the saved side of sheol and took the believers with Him to heaven. The judgment side of sheol/hades awaits final judgment.

The left bashed Trump for not singing hymns also. But even Franklin Graham defended him for not singing, saying, “I don’t usually sing in church. Why? Because I can’t carry a tune! And, I have no rhythm.” We know the left would ridicule Trump if he sang off-beat or off-key.

The CFO of the Clinton Foundation, thinking he was “meeting an old professional acquaintance,” admitted to investigators that the Clinton Foundation, instead of using the tax-free donations for charity, is using a lot of the money for personal use. And we must surely wonder about the millions of donations Hillary got from Arab countries. What might she have promised them in return?

France and Germany joined forces to create back-channel payments to Iran, defying the US-led effort to sanction Iran for its nuclear activity. Already, thanks to Obama, Iran got billions which it uses for its proxies for terrorist activity.

Israeli police have recommended indicting PM Netanyahu and his wife for alleged fraud and bribery. They’re accused of awarding regulatory favors to the Bezeq telecom firm in return for positive media coverage. “The witch-hunt against us continues,” Netanyahu told a crowd of supporters. The investigation, he said, was biased and “skewed from the start… A year ago, before even opening the investigations, they decided what the outcome would be and leaked their conclusions.”

Terrorist tactics

As the holiday approaches, the terrorists are at it again to incite fear. An ISIS-supporting media group threatened New York City attacks for New Year’s.

In Italy, six people, including five young teens, were crushed to death in the early hours of Saturday following a stampede at a packed nightclub. Witnesses reported seeing a hooded man spray a substance like pepper spray or tear gas into the crowd, triggering a panicked rush to the emergency exits. A walkway then collapsed, causing dozens to fall into a trench. Over 100 were injured, 13 seriously. 1,300 tickets were sold for the rap concert in the main hall where there was only a capacity of 469.

In Israel: The Iranian supported Hamas has kept Israel busy with the Gaza crisis while Iran’s proxy Hezbollah has been busy building their own tunnels into Israel. Operation Northern Shield found and destroyed a Hezbollah tunnel that penetrated into Israel from Lebanon. The Lebanese army was placed on high alert following the IDF’s announcement. For the time being, the operation is limited to Israeli territory, but Netanyahu said the operation may be extended into Lebanon, saying Israel will do whatever is necessary.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

The US carried out a rare flight over Ukraine under the international Open Skies Treaty to “reaffirm US commitment to Ukraine” amid heightened Russia-Ukraine tensions. It was the second such US military gesture in two days after Russia last month shot at and seized three Ukrainian naval vessels and their crew members off Crimea.

US-led war planes killed a number of ISIS leaders in Syria including one who was responsible for executing hostages (which included an American).

Satellite images show a newly deployed Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile battery in the airbase in Crimea (which it previously took over), 19 miles from the Russia-Ukraine border. Now that Russia has met with success in Syria, it now turns its attention back to its other agenda. Russia needs warmer waters to navigate, seeing as how its waters are frozen 8 months out of the year. And we know its final agenda against Israel.

Iran is ramping up its activity and threats. Iran’s Rouhani said, “If we can’t export oil, no one will.” Iran violated the UN Treaty by launching nuclear-capable missiles to test them, one of its most provocative actions in recent memory. Also, it claims it has pioneered a new cyber army.  As already reported here, it’s supposedly developed a “radar evading stealth” warship, and Iran used a large Boeing to fly war weapons in a direct route to Lebanon for the first time. The UN Security Council met to discuss Iran’s missile test by request from France and Great Britain. The Trump administration’s Iran envoy Brian Hook vowed tough reprisals regarding the missile tests.

The US Navy sent an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf in display of force after Iran’s ballistic missile test.

Nation Against Nation

President Trump asked Secretary of State Pompeo to study South Africa’s continuing “land and farm seizures” and “killing of white farmers.” Needless to say, this angered the Marxist-Communist regime there.

Hatred of God’s Chosen Covenant People

There has never been a “Palestinian” state? Yet the liberal Newsweek erroneously claimed there was.

A US-sponsored resolution condemning Hamas garnered a 87-57 majority in the UN General Assembly. That’s better than it has been, but a 2/3 majority is required for the resolution to be adopted. It fell nine votes short. Thirty-three states abstained, and another 16 did not vote.

In Canada, hate crimes against Jews have risen 60% since last year, making them the most targeted minority group in the country for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile Israel continues to innovate and invent solutions that make the world a better place and alleviate misery and hunger.

Hatred of Christianity

In the Illinois Capitol rotunda this month, several traditions are being celebrated: a Nativity scene for Christmas, a menorah for Hanukkah, and then something a different: an arm holding an apple with a snake coiled around it from The Satanic Temple. It’s called “Snaketivity,” with a sign that reads “Knowledge Is The Greatest Gift.”

In Minnesota, Eric Sprankle, an associate professor of clinical psychology and sexuality studies, likes to mock God. In one of his latest tweets, he said God did not get Mary’s consent to impregnate her.

Facebook deemed a photo of Santa kneeling in front of baby Jesus in a Nativity Scene as showing “violent and graphic content” (see here). But after the story went viral, Facebook backed down, yet leaving us still wondering what Facebook considered to be so objectionable about the scene.

A Nebraska school principal, Jennifer Sinclair, banned even secular Christmas decorations which were supposed to be allowed, including candy canes so as not to offend anyone. The principal said, “Historically, the shape is a ‘J’ for Jesus, the red is for the blood of Christ, and the white is a symbol of his resurrection.” She also banned all colors of candy canes. However, originally candy canes were not associated with Christmas. She’s been placed on administrative leave. School officials said, “Christmas trees, Santa Claus and Easter eggs and bunnies are considered to be secular, seasonal symbols and may be displayed as teaching aids provided they do not disrupt the instructional program for students.”

How about instructing them about the reason for the season, Jesus, who is real?

In Scotland, Thistles Shopping Mall bosses decided not to have a Nativity scene this Christmas to avoid “offending” non-Christian shoppers.

In Uganda, following a series of events in which Muslims spoke against Christianity, Christian pastors held an event to defend the faith. Upon this, a Muslim mob screaming “Allahu akbar” (“Allah is greater”) ended with six Christian pastors being arrested as the government caved to Muslim demands. Now these Christians are under investigation when Uganda doesn’t even have so-called blasphemy laws.

Orwellian Society

Last week PJ Media wrote about Google’s plans for spying in our homes; however, people can choose not to buy Google products. But that’s not possible for millions of students in K-12 who are required to use Google products in the classroom. Based on recent disclosures, Google is using their position to develop dossiers on students.

The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs in Germany is accused of funding a brochure for kindergarten teachers that encourages children to spy on their “right-wing” parents.

A new film “The Creepy Line,” which contends that Google and Facebook pose a threat not only to privacy but to the economy and elections, is available for purchase on Amazon.com and streaming on Amazon Prime.

Facebook employees are turning against boss Mark Zuckerberg. British MPs leaked a huge amount of documents and accused Facebook of spying on users’ calls and texts and signing secret deals to give access to their data.

Analysis by the Daily Mail found that Marriott International, Facebook, Asda, Paypal, BT and Tesco engaged in hidden data harvesting and sharing. Giant firms can use personal data to build a profile of customers for targeted adverts or to pass to other organizations.

Celestial Events

In a rare celestial event, a supermoon will coincide with a total lunar eclipse on January 21, and the event will be visible across the US. This is the only total lunar eclipse (also known as a blood moon)  of 2019. There won’t be another until 2021.

On December 16, the emerald green Christmas Comet (46P/Wirtanen) will see its closest pass to Earth since its discovery 70 years ago (1948). It is the 10th closest approach (7 million miles) of any comet in the past 70 years. It won’t come this close again for another 20 years. It is the 20th closest approach of a comet dating as far back as the 9th century A.D. If you include the comet’s diffuse halo of light, it’s about the size of the full moon. The comet is already visible with binoculars in a dark location, and will be at its brightest between December 14 and 18. But it should still be visible until the beginning of January.

The Geminid meteor shower peaks on the morning of December 15. “The time when the comet is brightest is also when we are getting the best Geminids,” NASA scientist Dr. Musgrave said.

Delusions

China is attempting what no one else has done before, landing a robotic craft on the far side of the moon onto a massive crater. It launched on December 8 and will land in January—if successful. “This crater has the potential to tell us something about the creation of the earth and the moon system – how the moon was formed as well as how the early solar system evolved,” said David Paige, a planetary scientist at the University of California, Los Angeles. We can tell him how; read Genesis 1 in the Bible.

A NASA scientist says it’s possible aliens have already visited Earth but we didn’t notice, and that some UFO sightings cannot be explained or denied.

The Global Government Agenda

The presidents of previous UN climate summits got together, calling on states to take “decisive action… to tackle these urgent threats.” “The impacts of climate change are increasingly hard to ignore,” said the statement. “We require deep transformations of our economies and societies.” They fudge the numbers to deceive the world.

President Trump was the only leader at the Group of 20 Summit in Argentina who refused to sign a statement reiterating a pledge to combat so-called “manmade” climate change. Good for him.

Reducing the population: In Canada, an ad for euthanasia runs on TV in an urgent care waiting room.

Illegal immigration: Two dozen Central American migrants breached the US border fence on Monday. The Texas Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol agents apprehended almost 200 Central American migrants in a single day after they illegally crossed the border from Mexico. California witnessed 13 illegal male migrants landing a boat on a beach there. Officials have arrested five of them so far plus the two smugglers who were waiting for them.

Environmentalist nature worshipers tried to have the Supreme Court block the building of the US border wall. They were unsuccessful…so far.

The storm clouds are gathering in Europe. People all across France are revolting over Macron’s globalist “climate change” doings that are putting people into poverty. England will exit the EU for certain, and Italy will likely follow. Germans aren’t happy with Angela Merkel. Socialism does not work, and people are seeing how disastrous the global agenda is. The EU is failing; and America, which is also dealing with the globalist agenda, will suffer from all the fallout. Watch the 2-minute Varney report at this link.

EU Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos is urging all countries to sign the UN Migration Pact on December 10-11, saying the agreement is “important” to the world. Several countries already pulled out, and in the EU there are at least six countries that won’t sign. They rightly say, among other things, that the pact will promote even more immigration and pose a national security risk.

Hal Lindsey said in his 12/7/18 report:

“In an age of terrorism, massive illegal immigration creates an equally massive security risk. It’s difficult to stop a smart and determined terrorist once he or she has entered the country. That’s a tough job even with controlled borders. But with meaningless borders, it becomes impossible…

“A new agreement reached by the United Nations called The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is being formally adopted this week… it reflects the borderless future that now dominates the thinking of the world’s most powerful and entitled elite. It may seem odd that people sitting in walled mansions behind armed guards believe in open borders, but it fits their goal of a one-world government. The UN’s new Migration Compact is a significant step in that direction…

“For Christians looking forward to the return of Jesus, this UN agreement is another reason to “look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28).
