FAQ :: I am not a Christian, but I need God’s help. What can I pray?

You say you are not a Christian, yet you have faith that God can help you. If you believe that God has the power to help you, and you also believe that He will hear and answer your prayers, why have you not accepted His free gift of salvation? It is simply that, a free gift. It was paid with a huge price but is offered freely to you. “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us” (1 John 3:16). First John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Once you have asked Jesus into your life, you can go to Him with every single need you have. “And it shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear” (Isaiah 65:24); “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). Prayer is simply laying your needs and concerns before the Lord. Eventually, you will recognize how He is working in your life and your prayers will become acts of worship and praise as you seek Him!
