Wars and rumors of wars; great earthquakes in diverse places; famines; pestilences; distress of nations with perplexity; sea and waves roaring; like the days of Noah and Lot; dividing God’s land of Israel and hatred of its people (Luke 17:26-30; Luke 21; Psalm 2; Zechariah 12; Isaiah 17: Ezekiel 38-39; Joel 3:1-2).
We’re already seeing the convergence of these signs that are increasing in intensity and frequency. They are foreshadowings of what will be so much worse during the Tribulation for those who are left behind to face it.
WEATHER EVENTS
Hurricane Ian: At least 21 dead in Florida as Hurricane Ian hits Carolinas. As of this writing, Ian was downgraded to a tropical storm; however, Ian was forecast to hit with hurricane force in the Carolinas, especially along the upper half of the coast.
Hurricane Fiona: Fatalities in Puerto Rico rose to 16 on Sept 26; damage described as catastrophic.
Post Tropical Cyclone Fiona washed away homes and cars; caused major structural damage on Canada’s Atlantic coast.
Typhoon Noru wreaks havoc across southeast Asia. Noru has been ripping through the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. Eleven people are known dead. Six of the deaths were caused by floods, landslides, and traffic accidents due to the cyclone’s impact. The other five victims were part of a rescue team that drowned while trying to evacuate residents.
Central America – Floods and Landslides in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. At least two people died; hundreds displaced. Honduras declares statewide emergency due to ongoing floods.
