The Israeli military conducted retaliatory airstrikes against targets in Gaza Strip, followed by strikes into Lebanon Friday morning in retaliation for rockets launched into Israel by militants in those areas. “Palestinian” militants had fired rockets from Gaza into southern Israel. Later, 34 rockets were fired from Lebanon into Northern Israel.

Israel’s Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar said to PM Netanyahu, “We are glad that you came to meet us… on the occasion of Passover. As it is said: ‘Each person must see himself as if he came out of Egypt’…. Now it’s our turn – all of us… in the important work of protecting the people of Israel, its security and freedom.” He said, “Iran is responsible for 95% of security threats against us… directly and indirectly.” Since the start of this year, “more than 200 significant attacks have been thwarted….”

God is in control, and His Word tells us what will occur in these last days before Christ’s return. Anyone who thinks we’re not there must have their head in the sand.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him” (Romans 5:8-9).

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:10-17).

How to Be Saved:

“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
