Extreme weather/Creation groaning: In the US, a “Ride the Ducks” amphibious vehicle was overtaken during severe storms in Missouri, killing 17. A tornado did catastrophic damage to Marshalltown, Iowa, amid severe storms in the Midwest.
Drenching thunderstorms moved through the northeastern US early this week with numerous flash floods. In D.C., drivers abandoned vehicles after water collected on roadways, trapping the cars; water rescues were reported. The first 16 days of July, the nation’s capital didn’t receive even a mere 0.01 of an inch of rain—the driest first half of July on record for D.C. Following this rainfall, the city has now received about 75% of its normal rainfall for July.
North Texas broke a 93-year-old daily heat record on Thursday; the temperature climbed to 108 degrees Fahrenheit (42 Celsius). The thermometer measured 136 degrees on the sidewalk.
In parts of India, incessant heavy rain and flooding this week has resulted in 41 deaths. 100 thousand people have sought refuge in relief camps.
In Japan, a heat wave has killed about 30 people. Thousands of others sought hospital treatment for heat-related conditions over the past two weeks. Temperatures climbed to 40.7C (105F) in central Japan earlier this week. In Kyoto temperatures stood above 38C (100.4F) for seven days in a row for the first time since records began in the 19th Century. Schools are urged to take precautions. A six-year-old boy died after an outdoor class on Tuesday.
Sweden has issued calls for emergency assistance from the European Union after wildfires broke out across the country during an extreme heat wave.
Huge wildfires are spreading again in California and Colorado. California had its worst start to the fire season in a decade. Wildfires have almost become a year-round threat in parts of the western United States. Officials don’t refer to “fire seasons anymore but rather to fire years.” A forest fire just west of Yosemite National Park expanded to nearly 36 square miles (93 square kilometers) on Friday. Over 2,700 firefighters aided by a fleet of helicopters battled the Ferguson Fire, with only 7% containment.
A 100-foot-long fissure near the Yellowstone supervolcano prompted the closure of parts of Teton National Park. That along with the Steamboat geyser’s newly active status has sparked fears of an eruption at the Yellowstone caldera. Scientists claim there is no cause for concern.
In Hawaii, the collapse of the Kilauea summit crater continues, with large explosions and strong earthquakes occurring almost daily.

An emaciated Oklahoma teen was reportedly “within a week of death” Thursday when a concerned passerby notified police. He was found living in his well-fed family’s barn where he said he’d been surviving on a diet of sticks, leaves and grass for nearly two years. Now four members of the teen’s family are behind bars, on child neglect charges. The 15-year-old boy weighed 80 pounds when authorities found him in the barn along with goats, rabbits and chickens. The boy told authorities that his father had shot him in a leg with a 12-gauge shotgun about a year ago. He also had a head injury that became infected. His father, stepmother and two older brothers were arrested on child neglect warrants.
In Florida, police arrested a mom, dad and grandmother on child neglect charges. The children ages 4, 1, and 4 months old. Living conditions were so “deplorable,” an east coast Florida sheriff said, one of the children was suffering from multiple insect bites and bone fractures.
In Los Angeles, an as yet unnamed man shot his grandmother at least seven times and injured another woman whom he dragged into his grandmother’s car, and then fled. He crashed into a Trader Joe’s grocery store during a police chase and ran inside, taking the 40-50 people inside hostage. The standoff ended three hours later, but not before he shot and killed the young store manager. The grandmother is in critical condition. The second woman suffered a minor head wound and is in good condition.
Some good news: President Trump has expanded his ban on foreign aid abortion funding to further ensure that no foreign aid dollars will be used to fund organizations that perform abortions overseas.
As pro-abortion politicians, activists, journalists, and pundits express outrage over the possibility of a second Trump Supreme Court nominee helping overturn Roe v. Wade, several movies are currently in the works hoping to stoke fears about a post-Roe America.

Netflix just keeps sliding down the slippery slope. This week it announced its plans for a series based on a 12-year-old boy who discovers he has reincarnated as Jesus Christ. Anne of Green Gables series on Netflix called Anne with an E. is promoting homosexuality and drag queens.
Disney director James Gunn has a years-long history of “joking” about his own fantasies about raping and molesting children. Gunn also has a history of making racist and homophobic jokes about the Holocaust, rape, Jews, AIDS, and Mexicans. Only after conservatives exposed these facts this week did Disney decide to fire him.
As a result of the LGBTQI etc. agenda being promoted in schools, more kids are engaging in the behavior and adopting the identity. This paints a grim picture with dire consequences for the long-term well-being of our nation’s youth.
Over 200 parents around the country are raising theybies in a gender-open style that keeps the sex of their children a secret. They are raised with gender-neutral pronouns until the children decide what sex they are. These parents even have a Facebook support group.

In the UK, a so-called transgender inmate with his male parts intact has been accused of sexually assaulting four female inmates following a transfer to a women’s prison. The first attack took place within days of the transfer to New Hall jail in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Planet Fitness health club has caused outrage after introducing a new policy to ban women from their gyms who refuse to share a locker room with men who “identify” as female. A second Planet Fitness in Florida has been accused of giving a man unrestricted access to the women’s locker room, where he allegedly harassed women. A similar incident occurred at a Planet Fitness in Michigan where Yvette Cormier alleges the company created a “judgment-free zone” where men can access the women’s facilities. When she encountered a man there and warned other women, the club terminated her membership.
You may remember the Nuffield Council on Bioethics for another report two years ago that was published by the American Academy of Pediatrics’ official journal. The report states that “referencing the ‘natural’ in breastfeeding promotion may inadvertently endorse a controversial set of values about family life and gender roles, which would be ethically inappropriate.”
The filthy, nasty city of San Fransisco, California, spends $37K per transient – that’s hundreds of millions of dollars every year out of taxpayers’ pockets in this city that proudly boasts its designation as a “sanctuary city” for illegals. Its streets are becoming more recognized for scattered feces, drug needles, garbage and LGBT demonstrations than for its cable cars. Also, San Francisco began registering non-citizens, including undocumented immigrants, to register to vote in the November election for the city school board.
Britain’s Prince Charles kept in touch with Bishop Peter Ball for over 20 years after the clergyman admitted to sexually abusing a young man. Charles said he believed Ball‘s explanation that Ball had only been caught in an “indiscretion.” Charles continued exchanging letters with Ball and sending him money until 2015, when he was convicted of sexually abusing 18 teen boys. Victims of the bishop accused the Church of England, police and senior prosecutors of presiding over an establishment cover-up that prevented him from facing justice for decades.
A Virginia man who is only identified as James by request was sexually abused for about 20 years by Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, a prominent Roman Catholic leader who was removed from public ministry last month over separate child abuse allegations. The abuse began when he was a child and continued into adulthood. The 88-year-old retired archbishop of Washington, D.C., is one of the highest-ranking U.S. church officials accused in a sexual abuse scandal that has seen thousands of priests implicated. “I was the first guy he baptized,” James said. “I was his little boy. I was his special kid. I was the kid he always sought out.”
Pestilence/disease: The number of people sickened by tainted McDonald’s salads has risen to 163 in 10 states. Three of the victims have been hospitalized. The problem is caused by the Cyclospora parasite that is transmitted in foods that have been contaminated with feces.
It’s not even flu season, but doctors say an “extremely contagious” stomach virus is spreading across Illinois. Symptoms of the illness include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and possibly a fever.
Over 500 people so far have been sickened in Gatlinburg, Tennessee at a zip line attraction after E. Coli bacteria was found in the water there, contaminated with fecal material.

Since 2009, a growing number of Americans have died from liver disease and liver cancer. The increase among 25- to 34-year-olds is especially troubling since the deaths are due to cirrhosis, which is caused by excessive alcohol consumption, the authors of a new study said.

European Catholic Bishops along with delegates responsible for the ‘Pastoral Care of Migrants’ met with European leaders in Stockholm to discuss their ‘open borders’ media campaign. These supposed men of the cloth appear to be destroyers rather than defenders of the faith in their agenda.
In Sweden, Bernt Herlitz, a dental hygienist from Gotland, was fired from his job for exposing the fact that 80% of the Muslim migrant “children” he was inspecting were in reality fully grown adults, determined from the fact that their wisdom teeth were fully grown. He was also fined $ 50,000 for breaking “confidentiality.”
In China, the Communist Party demolished yet another church on Tuesday, this time by 70 police officers under orders. Along with the building, altars, benches, and liturgical furnishings were also destroyed.
Apostasy and deception: The number of Christians attending church is down – no wonder when you consider the apostasy in the churches today. But attendance at atheist so-called churches is up, not because they believe in God/Christ, but because of the fellowship.
At St. Paul’s Cathedral, an Anglican cathedral that is the seat of the Bishop of London and the so-called mother church of the Diocese of London, the staff asked police to arrest or remove anyone reading from the Bible in the public precinct in front of the cathedral. In one incident, a policeman rightfully refused to remove/arrest a man who was reading from the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5 which includes these verses: “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”
The Episcopal Church’s General Convention, led by Bishop Michael Curry, passed a resolution last Friday that expanded the right for gay couples to marry in all dioceses even where local bishops object to same-sex marriage. Curry received the Louie Crew Clay award at the convention (both seen in a previous photo giving each other a kiss on the lips—what they call ‘a kiss of Christ). That’s no kiss of Christ. Curry is the bishop who married the royal liberals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Louie Crew Clay offers weekly reflections on the “Revised Common Lectionary by a Queer Episcopalian.”
In what is now a secular Europe, there has been a resurgence in paganism as people look for anything to look up to besides the only true God of the Bible. Construction begins this month on Iceland’s first major temple to the Norse so-called gods since the Viking age ended 1,000 years ago. Two years ago, Denmark completed a pagan temple dedicated to Odin. One of the largest movements is the revival of Germanic Paganism or Heathenry. These pagans worship the old Germanic gods, especially Thor and Odin, and also nature spirits such as Elves and Trolls. Slavic paganism is especially strong in Poland. Then there are Celtic Pagans who incorporate Wicca and other ancient traditions in their religion. They use the ancient Celt Lunar calendar and celebrate solstices and equinoxes.
Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a leading rabbi in Israel, said “this generation displays absolute hatred for those who learn the Bible, especially in recent years. We are seeing all of the conditions described in the Talmud appear before us. It is for this reason that we anticipate the appearance of the Messiah at any moment, God-willing.” He states that the Messiah would be born this Saturday, July 21 on Tisha B’Av if he hasn’t been born already. However, as we know, the Jews are blinded in part until the full number of Gentiles has come in (Romans 11:25). It will take the Tribulation for the Jews to realize that their Messiah is Christ Jesus.
Anti-Semitism: A candidate for Swedish parliament is suggesting Jews leave Israel for the US so Arabs can build a nation. Oldoz Javidi, an actor with Iranian roots, is a candidate for the Feminist Initiative party. In other words, she and others like her want the tiny dot that is Israel – surrounded by giant Arab nations – to cease to exist.
Mankind trying to be gods: Regarding genetically modifying human embryos (aka creating designer babies), the Nuffield Council of Bioethics says there is “no absolute reason not to pursue it.” The use of genome editing in embryos for assisted reproduction in humans is currently prohibited by UK law, but is permitted in some research. For example, scientists are permitted to do gene editing on embryos as long as they are destroyed immediately afterwards.
A study has found that CRISPR causes significantly greater DNA damage than previously thought. From the earliest days of the CRISPR-Cas9 era, scientists have known that the first step in how it edits genomes — snipping DNA — creates an unholy mess: Cellular repairmen frantically try to fix the cuts by throwing random chunks of DNA into the breach and deleting other random bits. Mark Zuckerberg says Infowars can remain on Facebook but its content will be censored. However, Zuckerberg refuses to ban or censor pages or posts that deny the Holocaust.

Wars and rumors of wars: Earlier this week a Gaza rocket landed at an Israeli kindergarten just before the children were about to go outside to play. The terrorists continued their onslaught of incendiary balloons into Israel, causing lots of fires and destruction of Israeli land. By week’s end the Israel Air Force launched a major wave of strikes at Hamas targets across the Gaza Strip after a Hamas sniper killed an IDF soldier. As of this writing there is a tentative cease fire.
The Syrian regime accused Israel of striking a Syrian army base near Aleppo last Sunday night. Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman had said the previous week that Israel has “identified elements” belonging to Iran and its Shi’ite proxy militias who are trying to establish themselves on the Golan Heights. “We are not prepared to accept an Iranian presence in Syria anywhere. As you have heard more than once, we will act against any Iranian consolidation in Syria.”
Iran has built a factory that can produce rotors for up to 60 centrifuges a day, the head of its atomic agency said.
The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, vowed that the US would be unable to broker a peace deal between Israel and the “Palestinian” Authority, and that the Jewish state would ultimately disappear from the Middle East.
The US offered Hamas significant financial aid to help rehabilitate Gaza. The offer would require a complete cessation of terror against Israel of all kinds. Hamas responded to the offer with scorn. Of course they did, because Hamas cares nothing for its own people. All the money is spent on terrorism and building tunnels with the goal of destroying Israel
Widespread unrest is engulfing southern Iraq as Iraqis frustrated by shortages of electricity, water and jobs vent their anger, setting fire to political offices, attacking government infrastructure. The government has cut off Internet access across much of Iraq and ordered security forces on high alert.
Terrorism: The FDA has approved a drug to treat smallpox in case of a terror attack.
Israeli Mossad agents uncovered information about an alleged plan by Tehran to bomb the Iranian opposition group’s annual rally on June 30 in a suburb of Paris. Mossad cooperated with French, German and Belgium authorities to foil the attack and apprehend the suspects, including an Iranian diplomat.

Joe Lieberman took Ocasio-Cortez to task over her open-border dreams of abolishing ICE. He said, “This makes no sense unless you no longer want any rules on immigration or customs to be enforced.” At least three potential Democrat candidates for the presidential nomination endorsed Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s position. Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America whose platform, like hers, is more Socialist than Democratic. Her dreams of new federal spending would bankrupt the country or require very large tax increases, including on the working class. Her approach foresees government ownership of many private companies, which would decimate the economy and put millions out of work.
California’s state Supreme Court ordered that a proposition asking voters if they want to break the most populous state in the US into three states must be removed from the November ballot. It appears that the proposition was yanked off the ballot because it was too big a threat to the established power structure. The truth is that the state Legislature has failed the people of California. This article gives ten reasons why. The first reason is that Californians no longer have a say in how they are governed. They are pawns in the hands of a few powerful elites that don’t have the citizens’ best interests in mind.
