Promoters of the unbiblical social gospel are touring to try to get Republicans to vote Democrat, using the name of Jesus to do so. They want people to forget that the Democrat Party supports anti-God/anti-Christian values. These false preachers call for discernment, but they have none.
They want conservative Republican Christians to support the Democrat Party because they say we’re supposed to let everybody in who wants to come. They want us to forget that President Trump rightfully wants a vetting process – which is how it’s always been before Democrats (who used to feel the same way and spoke against illegal immigration) suddenly flipped the switch because they need the votes and because of their leftist (Socialist, Marxist and Communist) global agenda.

Violations are to blame for the death of 20 people in a limo accident in upstate New York – two pedestrians and 17 passengers in the limo (that included four sisters and two brothers), also the driver. All three of the company’s limos failed inspection last month. The limo that crashed had several violations at the time, including anti-lock brake malfunction indicators. Its driver, Scott Lisinicchia, did not have the proper license to operate the vehicle.
The owner of the limo company, Shahed Hussain, fled Pakistan in 1994 after being accused of murder (with help from a bribe by his billionaire brother Malik Riaz). Hassain gained asylum in the US. While working as a government translator, he was charged in 2002 with helping migrants illegally obtain driver’s licenses. To avoid prison, he became an FBI informant earning a hefty salary.
Hussain is currently out of the country, but his son Nauman who helps run the company has been charged with criminally negligent homicide (after being found with his bags packed). He’s also had a brush with the law before. State police accused him and his brother of claiming each other’s names after a 2014 traffic stop, which happened while the brother was driving without a valid license.
Extreme weather: Flash flooding events in Spain, Italy and France killed 15 people, and the search continues for more missing.
In Uganda, a landslide after heavy rains killed over 30 people, with fears that the death toll may rise. A river burst its banks and a torrent of mud and water swept away villages.
In Indonesia, heavy downpours caused flash flooding and landslides on Sumatra Island, killing at least 21 people, with more missing.
In Australia, tornadoes and a thunderstorm “supercell” swept across Queensland, injuring four people and causing widespread damage.
Crashing temperatures and rounds of rainfall are in store for the south-central US early this week. High temperatures will be in freefall as the downpours sweep through, being slashed by 20-40 degrees within the span of 24 hours. Record-low temperatures could be broken in some places, also with the possibility of snow.
Hurricanes and Cyclones: Hurricane Michael is the 3rd-most intense hurricane to hit the continental US, the most powerful to hit the continental U.S. in nearly 50 years, and the worst to ever hit the Florida panhandle where it caused catastrophic winds and storm surge. 18 deaths have been attributed to Michael in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. The number of unaccounted for is unclear; therefore, the death toll could rise in the coming days when rescuers get to hard to reach areas.
Gusts of wind spun off from Hurricane Michael pushed the Red Tide algae bloom back to Florida’s Gulf coast shore. Normally, a Red Tide bloom begins late summer/early fall and lasts until February/March, when it dissipates. However, the current bloom detected nearly a year ago has lasted so long and become so deadly for marine life that scientists dubbed it the worst in a decade. The algae bloom now stretches 145 miles along Florida’s Gulf coast.
In India, Cyclone Titli caused 15 deaths and significant damage to roads and housing infrastructure in the states of Andra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal. It proved to be most disastrous to the farming sector with standing crops seriously damaged.
Hurricane Leslie is dubbed the “zombie storm” because it meandered around for so long in the Atlantic being upgraded or downgraded. It finally targeted Portugal late Saturday as a tropical storm with gusts of hurricane-force winds – one of the most powerful to ever hit the country. About 1,000 trees were uprooted. A resident of one town said, “I have never seen anything like it; the town seemed to be in a state of war, with cars smashed by fallen trees.”
Leslie followed a rare pattern for a tropical system; hurricanes that regularly hit the American side of the Atlantic rarely bring their destructive force to Europe. As of this writing, Leslie is now passing over northern Spain. Four departments in southern France have also been put on alert for storms and flooding. Also in an odd twist, the weak remnants of Michael may affect northern Spain on Monday or Tuesday.
Former hurricane Sergio caused flooding rainfall in Mexico this week and brought flooding rainfall and severe weather into Texas and Oklahoma this weekend.
There are several storm systems being monitored in the Atlantic and Caribbean. This is the first time there are three named Atlantic storms at the same time in October with winds in excess of 65 mph.
Great earthquakes: In Haiti, the death toll has risen to 18 killed by a 5.9 earthquake that struck off the north coast of Haiti on October 6. Gros-Morne, Haiti was hit hard where Green Bay native Brittany Galvin works as a nurse practitioner. 80% of the homes were damaged as well as the hospital. Despite the many risks there, she sees it as the path God chose for her. Galvin is asking for help, online, to raise funds for repairing and rebuilding what’s been lost. She adds, “Any little bit helps, so if anyone can help know that 100% of their donation will go directly to helping those in need here.”
In Indonesia, the death toll has now passed 2,000 as a result of the 7.5 earthquake on Sept.28 and resulting tsunami.
A 7.0 earthquake struck the remote New Britain island in Papua New Guinea.
A 6.0 earthquake struck in the waters off the Indonesian island of Bali.
A 6.3 earthquake struck off the coast of Russia on October 10, and a 6.7 in the same area on October 13.
Volcanoes: In Indonesia, the Salak volcano erupted for the first time in 80 years, spewing an ash cloud up to 50,000 feet.
Pestilence and disease: Cases of a paralyzing condition resembling polio is on the rise in the US. From Aug. 2014 through Sept. 2018, CDC has received information on a total of 362 cases, mostly in children. It causes symptoms ranging from muscle weakness to complete paralysis. Health officials in 26 states are investigating or have reported 85 cases of AFM this summer/fall season. AFM was first noticed in the US in the late summer/fall of 2014. Coincidentally, that is the year when there was a huge surge of tens of thousands, mostly minors, from Central America entering the US in what has been named the 2014 American immigration crisis.
In Los Angeles, California, there were five typhus cases (a flea-borne illness) in 2008 compared with at least 83 cases so far this year. “The sidewalks weren’t ever intended for habitation, our storm drains were never intended for human waste, and rats [are] crawling all over people,” said Estela Lopez, executive director of the L.A. Downtown Industrial Business Improvement District.
In the Congo, cases of the Ebola virus have more than doubled since September.
Lots of reasons to pray for the children: In Poland, a private foundation published a map showing 255 child sex abuse cases by Catholic priests.
In Decatur, Georgia, a five-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at school in the girls’ bathroom by a young boy who identifies as gender-fluid, sparking an investigation by the U.S. Dept. of Education’s Office for Civil Rights regarding the school’s transgender bathroom policy. The complaint states that, as the little girl was emerging from a stall, the ‘gender fluid’ boy pushed her against a wall, pushed his hand between her legs, and repeatedly felt and poked at her genitals while she struggled and called out for him to stop, and no one came to help. She reported the incident to her mother after school.
123 missing children were located in just one day as part of a successful police operation in the Eastern District of Michigan at the end of September. They were found in the Wayne County area, which includes the city of Detroit. A few were found to have been sex-trafficked. The message from the agency to the missing children and their families is that we will never stop looking for you. 178 children are still missing in the area.
In Indonesia, a child trafficking network that was selling children and babies has been shut down by police.
In Karachi, Pakistan, hundreds of dead newborn girls have been discovered in Karachi, Pakistan’s rubbish dumps since the beginning of 2017. Parents still prefer boys in this second largest nation of Muslims in the world, after Indonesia.
Liberal media are doing everything they can to keep a film exposing the notorious abortionist Kermit Gosnell from succeeding. Gosnell was convicted in 2011 of multiple counts of first-degree murder for late-term and after-birth abortions. The film, which has just begun playing in theaters in the US, is titled “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.” The liberal left “hates that the truth is getting out there.” The film producers of “Gosnell never trusted pro-lifers until they put together “brutal” murder evidence for the movie that changed their perspectives on abortion.

Persecution of Christians: Pastor Andrew Brunson is finally home after over two year’s detention in Turkey. President Trump used sanctions against Turkey’s regime to pressure its government to release him. Brunson met with President Trump and prayed with him.

The Defense Department has become the latest federal agency to sever ties with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a hard-left group whose “hate map” is being used against Christian groups. Google now supports a “hate news” database that links to articles referencing Liberty Counsel and other Christian groups on the SPLC “hate” list. The SPLC’s smears have led Amazon Smile, a charity donation program run by Jeff Bezos’ Amazon company, to ban pro-family Christian groups. Last year, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced a $1 million Apple donation to the SPLC and added a portal so iTunes buyers could donate directly. Big Tech, meet Big Hate.
The city of Austin, Texas, defended the lack of a religious exemption for churches in its new LGBT anti-discrimination law in response to a lawsuit, arguing that the law “reflects our values and culture.” This hampers Bible-believing churches in their hiring practices.
Retired pastor Ken Hauge, who was threatened with eviction for holding a Bible study in his apartment, has filed a complaint with the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.
Persecution of Jews: In Germany, BDS neo-Nazis disrupted a Holocaust film screening. BDS is the 21st-century version of Kristallnacht. Nazis began their actions against Jews by holding boycotts of Jewish businesses in Germany. The BDS movement and “Palestinian” jihad groups share the same Jew-hatred. Now that the Left is more openly violent and disruptive than ever, we’re going to see even more of this sort of thing.

The US military is reportedly planning to put on a serious show of force in contested waters from the South China Sea to the Taiwan Strait as a warning to China and a reminder of the US’ ability to rapidly confront and counter any potential adversaries.
Israel’s PM Netanyahu indicated that Israel will not hesitate to launch a full-scale military operation against the Gaza Strip if the violence along the border with Israel continues to deteriorate. 20 terrorists placed a bomb on Israel’s border fence, which exploded in part. They then crossed into Israel. Soldiers responded, pushing them back into Gaza. Three continued to approach the IDF post and were shot to death as a result.
The US Senate passed legislation mandating the government sanction members of Hamas and Hezbollah responsible for using human shields in warfare.

American troops will remain in Syria “as long as Iranian troops are outside Iranian borders.” Pompeo blasted Iran’s leadership, remarking on their label as the world’s leading state sponsor of terror.
“Peace” plan: The Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies unveiled its own two-state “peace” framework that included steps it says Israel can take to retain a strategic advantage even if there is no partner on the other side with whom to negotiate. NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio signed the bill into law that adds the third gender option to new birth certificates in the Left’s latest attempt to cater to the LGBTQ community in defiance of scientific evidence that “gender identity” is not separate from biological sex. The bill will immediately allow individuals who describe themselves as “gender non-binary” to apply for new birth certificates in which they can list their gender as “X” as opposed to “M” for male and “F” for female. For parents of newborns, the bill allows them to select a “third gender option” if they choose to raise their babies genderless.

Here’s another one on Saturday night: Anger over another recent left-wing demonstration boiled over in Portland – propelling conservatives into downtown streets for a counter-protest march that soon devolved into a brawl with Antifa. Members of the right organized under Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson for a “March for Law and Order.” As has become customary, Gibson and his crew were outnumbered by the black-clad leftist Antifa radicals. “There’s people that are running around and assaulting innocent bystanders,” Gibson said. “The mayor didn’t do a damn thing about it.” At one point, members of Antifa burned an American flag.
In Brookhaven, Mississippi, fans watching a halftime performance by a high school marching band were outraged at a show that depicted students holding toy guns at law enforcement. The band was supposed to depict a hostage scene from the move “John Q,” but obviously varied from the script. The band leader has been put on administrative leave. This took place just days after two Brookhaven law enforcement officers, who had responded to a report of shots fired, were murdered by the suspect. Cpl. Zach Moak died trying to pull his fallen brother in blue, Officer James White, out of the line of fire.
In Toronto, Canada, a pro-life group was having a civil discussion about abortion when a woman from a pro-abortion group that intervened assaulted one of the pro-lifers. The incident was captured on video. After assaulting one woman pro-lifer, she bumped another male pro-lifer in the chest with hers and said, “Let’s go; are you filming me? Let’s do this!” This is the second such incident in Toronto in the past several days. Earlier, a pro-life advocate was assaulted by abortion activist and pentagram-wearing Jordan Hunt.
