Extreme Weather
In the US, a powerful storm system is being blamed for at least one fatality after rattling parts of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Louisiana with flooding, tornadoes and damaging hail this week. When viewed on satellite Wednesday, the massive storm system appeared to be nearly half the size of Texas. More heavy rain and thunderstorms are continuing in the south-central United States into this weekend.
The US flooding began in earnest in March, causing billions of dollars of damage to farmland, homes and businesses across the Midwest. Rivers in many communities have been above flood stage for more than six weeks following waves of heavy rain. This has affected the planting season.
In Minnesota, a May snowstorm broke a 117-year-old record. A winter-like storm unleashed historic snow amounts in some locations on Wednesday into Thursday.
A significant Arctic blast affected almost all of Europe and parts of northern Africa this past week. Some regions dealt with heavy snow, below-freezing temperatures and late-season frost. There was record snowfall in Switzerland. In Denmark, Copenhagen set the record for the coldest May day ever. A surprise snowstorm left 30 people with hypothermia in France. Another blast of cold air is expected from May 11 to 18, with more heavy rain and snow.
In India, Cyclone Fani caused extensive damage. Dozens of people are known to have died and many are still without power during an intense heat wave.

School Shooting
In Denver, Colorado, two student school shooters at a STEM school left one student dead and seven wounded. One of the shooters, 18-year-old Devon Erickson, voiced opposition to the Bible, claimed Christians hate gays, criticized President Trump, and supported the left-wing Occupy Democrats that praised Obama. The other shooter, Maya McKinney, is a 16-year-old female who identifies as a transgender male and prefers to be called Alec. McKinney’s father, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was jailed for domestic violence and deported TWICE, with his son posting how he missed him just days before the atrocity.
Drugs
Police in Brevard County, Florida, arrested 100 people in a massive drug bust that included 500,000 lethal doses of fentanyl – enough to “kill every single resident of Brevard County.” The arrests were all connected to a criminal organization that brought huge amounts of opiates including heroin, fentanyl and methamphetamine from outside the county into Brevard to sell.

Houston, you have a problem. The City of Houston, Texas, apparently is not understanding the judgment of God. They have had issues determining bathrooms for the right gender, electing gay mayors and considering robot brothels. Now, yet another Houston library has promoted Drag Queen Story Hour complete with a child sex offender and transgender prostitute… and parents are seemingly allowing it.
Several weeks after the state of Michigan settled a lawsuit with the ACLU and two gay couples who sued the state, Bethany Christian Services will allow children to be adopted by homosexuals. The ACLU is a Communist, subversive organization that continually attacks the biblical foundations of America.

California’s Department of Education voted to approve a controversial guidance for sex education for elementary and middle school students despite protests by parents and others who say it is too explicit and morally corrupt. Children as young as Kindergarten are targeted with transgender propaganda, and Middle school students and high schoolers (minor pre-teens/teens) would be recommended to read obscene books describing graphic sex acts.
There were fireworks on the Minnesota House floor on April 23rd. Buried deep within the Omnibus Education Finance bill (HF2400) is a two-page mandate requiring “Sexual Health Education” curriculum, aka Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE). The language in the bill mandates CSE must be taught in every Minnesota public and charter school beginning as young as kindergarten. The books used are from Planned Parenthood, which lobbies for their disgusting books to be used in every school in the nation. The fourth grade sex-ed book, for example, is so disgusting that adults don’t even want to read it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its U.S. government partners have released the first federal collaborative report listing the top 8 zoonotic diseases of national concern for the United States. Zoonotic diseases are illnesses that can spread between animals and people. Every year, tens of thousands of Americans get sick from such diseases. The zoonotic diseases of most concern in the U.S. are: Zoonotic influenza, Salmonellosis, West Nile virus, Plague, Emerging coronaviruses (e.g., severe acute respiratory syndrome and Middle East respiratory syndrome), Rabies, Brucellosis, and Lyme disease.

Bus drivers will no longer service a major Brussels station, trade unions have announced, citing a reported outbreak of diseases including malaria, tuberculosis, and scabies. In the wake of the two-day rocket attack by Hamas and “Palestinian” Islamic Jihad firing approximately 700 rockets at Israel, Muslim congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, both Democrats, made public statements blaming Israel for the attacks.
Not even one of the over 20 candidates for the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination in 2020 commented on the nearly 700 rockets that terrorists in Gaza launched against Israel for two days. However, more than half a dozen did tweet Ramadan wishes at the start of the annual Muslim holy month.
The rabid Jew hater and white people hater, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan spoke at a Catholic church in Chicago, decrying social media outlets for banning his account, while denying accusations of anti-Semitism and racism. Yet there’s more proof out there than Bayer has aspirin showing he indeed espouses and incites such hatred. Farrakhan was invited to speak at the St. Sabina Church by the congregation’s controversial spiritual leader, Michael Pfleger.

In Seattle, Washington, the Dieringer School District is calling on its teachers to follow CAIR-issued guidelines regarding adherence to Islam. The school district is urging its teachers to bless Muslim students by reciting “Ramadan Mubarak!” or “Ramadan Kareem” to them during Ramadan. But you won’t hear them being told to read the story of Jesus to children during Christian holidays.
The leaders of several European nationalist parties campaigned in Prague ahead of the European Parliament elections set for May 23-26. Among the statements were: “Today, Europeans are once again fighting for their survival. It is not just the migration of colonists from Africa and the Arab countries that is changing the face of Western Europe. It is also the growing assault from Brussels on the sovereignty of Europe’s nation states in the name of a multicultural superstate. Also, “My friends, we are gathered here today to stand up for our freedom and our sovereignty. Immigration must be stopped, and the Islamist ideology must be eradicated…. Climate Change Agenda: A Ruse for Global Governance
CNN interviewed discredited environmental catastrophist Paul Ehrlich in its coverage of the United Nations’ latest warning of ecological collapse due to human activities and “climate change.” He claims that human extinction will happen if people don’t start having fewer children.
Scientists in Cambridge plan to investigate new ways to “repair the Earth’s climate,” including refreezing the Earth’s poles and removing CO2 from the atmosphere. But the truth is that CO2 is needed for life to exist. CO2 help more crops to grow to feed more people.
The Marxist Pope Francis made a strong new push for globalism this past week, calling for a supranational, legally constituted body to enforce United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and implement “climate change” policies. Francis bashed those who want to protect their nations from globalism and protect their borders.

An immigration plan being drafted by the White House is likely to include a provision that mandates, nationally, the E-Verify system that prevents businesses from hiring illegal aliens over American citizens.
In the US State of New Mexico, Otero County became the first border community to declare a state of emergency after the federal government shut down two local checkpoints in the area, which had traditionally provided a second line of defense against shipments of drugs and illegal immigrants who managed to sneak through the border at El Paso, about 90 miles to the south.
According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), April set yet another record, with a total of 109,000 apprehensions at the southwest border. Unless the US calls for a complete shutoff of immigration processing at the border, it’s unlikely that the numbers will fall significantly. The partial measures being pursued currently might have worked a year ago when we warned about the tsunami, but not now that we are squarely in the storm.

Last weekend, close to 20,000 people saw a live 4-D ultrasound of a third-trimester baby on huge video screens in Times Square, despite efforts to censor the images. Focus on the Family reports the turnout for “Alive from New York” far exceeded expectations.
The Trump administration announced a new rule protecting the right of doctors, nurses, insurers, and hospitals to opt out of providing services that conflict with their religious beliefs such as abortion or assisted suicide. But San Francisco immediately filed suit to override this rule and force doctors and nurses to kill babies in abortions anyway, or refer women to abortion practitioners who will.
A Democrat state representative from Alabama, John Rogers, who is considering running for the US Senate, is facing backlash over his remarks in opposition to the abortion ban that was approved in his state. He said, “Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or you kill them later” (in the electric chair). “Some parents can’t handle a child with problems,” Rogers continued. “It could be retarded. It might have no arms and no legs.”
Pennsylvania State Dem Rep. Brian Sims videotaped himself in front of a Planned Parenthood facility where pro-lifers were to encourage women not to get abortions. He berated the woman and teens for being white (yet one of them is of color). Sims himself is white. He offered money to anyone who could identify the teens and provide their addresses. Using the typical leftist projection tactics, accused them of attacking people when he was the only one attacking. In another video at the center, he berated an elderly woman pro-lifer for 8 minutes, calling her an “old white lady.” How would the openly gay Sims feel if he were the one being attacked for being gay? Mainstream news media would have had a field day over that one for sure. Yet CNN and MSNBC have yet to cover this news story.

A report from Geoffrey Fowler of the Washington Post discusses how the Alexa device is listening to you when you don’t even know it and keeps a record of the conversations. Alexa’s voice archive made headlines most recently when Bloomberg discovered Amazon employees listen to recordings to train its artificial intelligence. Amazon acknowledged some of those employees also have access to location information for the devices that made the recordings.
Australia is preparing to debut its version of the Chinese regime’s high-tech system for monitoring and controlling its citizens. The launch, to take place in the northern city of Darwin, will include systems to monitor people’s activity via their cell phones. The new system is based on monitoring programs in China, where the Chinese Communist Party is testing its Social Credit System. In Darwin, they’ve already constructed “poles, fitted with speakers, cameras and Wi-Fi” to monitor people, their movements around the city, the websites they visit, and what apps they use.

Wars and Rumors of Wars
Israel tipped the United States about a possible Iranian plan to “attack U.S. interests in the Gulf. The U.S. is deploying Carrier strike groups and a B-52 bomber task force to the Middle East in preparation for potential attacks, and the Pentagon will deploy the Patriot anti-missile battery to the Middle East to further deter the Iranian threat. Intelligence received by the US showed that Iran is likely to move short-range ballistic missiles aboard boats in the Persian Gulf. The threat toward U.S. forces and interests is “on land and sea.” Iraq and Syria Shiite militias could be operating on behalf of Iran to carry out these potential attacks.
Iran, through Islamic Jihad – its proxy in Gaza – is behind the current Gaza escalation, Israeli former national security advisor Yaakov Amidror said.
Last weekend, Hamas and Islamic Jihad launched nearly 700 rockets from Gaza at Israel, killing four people and injuring over 200. Israel retaliated, targeting Hamas facilities. Yet another so-called ceasefire is in place at this time.
A leader of the Islamic Jihad said in a televised interview that he expects a war with Israel to break out by next summer. Ziad al-Nahala described the most recent escalation against Israel as “just preparation for the greater battle.” “The resistance in Gaza is fully prepared for any war,” Nahala said, adding that when the ceasefire was reached they were about to shoot rockets at Tel Aviv.
Israel will not let Iran attain nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Netanyahu said Wednesday just hours after Iran announced it will continue its nuclear program. Netanyahu’s comments came at the government’s central Remembrance Day ceremony at the Mount Herzl military cemetery honoring the country’s 23,741 fallen soldiers.

In Pennsylvania, a school district moved to ban a school principal from saying “God bless America” after the Pledge of Allegiance when an anti-Christian group threatened to sue. Principal Peter Briggs of Sabold Elementary School in Springfield was told to stop the practice after the Freedom From Religion Foundation threatened to sue supposedly on behalf of a single parent of one child in the school.

In a USA Today article by “Reverend” Oliver Thomas, he says, “American churches must reject literalism and admit we got it wrong on gay people.” He believes we must reject what the Scriptures say about homosexuality. He claims churches will continue losing members until we stop accepting everything the Bible teaches.
Pat Robertson of the 700 Club calls young Earth creation “nonsense” and “embarrassing” and claims the universe is billions of years old. This is the same man who in 2011 counseled a man who was having an affair that he should divorce his wife with Alzheimer’s disease and “start all over again” because the condition is “a kind of death.”
So many pastors and Bible teachers are compromising the faith. They are aligning themselves with those who claim to be Christian but teach serious doctrinal error and outright heresy. They’re joining with non-Christians allegedly for common causes. What it all boils down to is keeping the pews and stadiums full for monetary gain. This is leading to the one-world false church that will exist in the tribulation. And man-worshiping brethren are defending them. Others are afraid to speak up about it lest they come under attack for defending the faith.
“Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils” (1 Corinthians 10:21).
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” (2 Corinthians 6:14-17).
“Will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” (Luke 18:7-8).
