EXTREME WEATHER
The Pacific Blob came back this summer and is in the news again this week. First, here’s an article from September about the supposed science behind the Blob: A similar pattern occurred between 2014 and 2015, with significant weather impacts across North America. This year, a swath of warmer-than-average water stretches from Alaska, where it began forming in June, all the way south to Baja California, Mexico. We have seen sea surface temperature (SST) anomaly patterns similar to this in the past, but the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has now confirmed that the 2019 blob is the second largest in forty years.

In Iowa, a quick-moving snowstorm created treacherous driving conditions near Des Moines Monday morning, which led to many accidents across the region, including a multi-vehicle pileup of roughly 50 cars with at least one person severely injured. “Temps fell into the low 20s F as the snow squall arrived, and visibility was reduced to below a quarter of a mile.
In the US, as of this writing, a “bomb cyclone” could be headed for the Northeast as a powerful storm tracks up the east coast through the weekend. The storm is expected to intensify and race up to eastern Canada by Sunday morning. The storm could produce 40 to 50 mph winds for mid-Atlantic states to New England. Given the already wet conditions in the Northeast for the last several weeks, this could cause downed trees and power outages. High winds will continue through Sunday into Monday for parts of New York and New England.
In Peru, heavy rain since Dec. 6 has led to landslides and severe flooding, damages to homes, schools, roads, and bridges, as well as dozens of fatalities.
In Madagascar, Tropical Cyclone Belna made a devastating landfall Monday. At least nine were killed by floods, three others are missing, and more than 1,400 were left homeless.
Massive flooding sweeps through 22 areas in South Trinidad. Incessant heavy rain battered parts of South Trinidad beginning Tuesday, flooding roads and homes across 22 areas. Chairman of the Penal/Debe Regional Corp. described the situation as the “worst ever.” Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service said Penal recorded 127 mm (5 inches) of rain in two days.
Iceland was hit on Dec. 10-11 with a bomb cyclone accompanied by heavy snowfall and hurricane-force winds. Several cities faced power outages and roads were left paralyzed. It was set to batter Britain afterward.
Intense cyclone brings rain and heavy snow across north-central Mediterranean. A strong pressure gradient between a deep cyclone across the Adriatic Sea and the strengthening ridge over SW Europe should also develop extensive wind field.
In Israel, a soldier was hurt as a military tent was swept away, and several other people were injured by tree collapses as extreme wind gusts and heavy showers spread all across the country. An Israeli passenger plane on route from Rome had to make an emergency landing at an airport near the Dead Sea.
Storm “Atiyah” hit Ireland and the United Kingdom last Sunday, bringing high winds, rough seas, and heavy rains across the region. Widespread traffic disruptions and power outages were reported. The bad weather continued into Monday and Tuesday; two yellow alerts were issued. Gusts of up to 161 km/h (100 mph) were predicted to keep the disruption through Thursday, Dec. 12.
Storm Brendan wasn’t supposed to materialize, but it did. It hit Edinburgh, Scotland with gale-force winds causing chaos across the capital.
In South Africa, heavy rains caused widespread severe floods across parts of Pretoria. The same weather system affected other north-eastern provinces over the past week, resulting in heavy rain and flooding.
In Bolivia, a rare tornado hit an area near El Alto International Airport, highest airport in the world. Minor damages were reported when it touched down without warning. This could be one of the highest-altitude tornadoes ever recorded. A whirlwind that high required an unusual set of circumstances.
DROUGHT
In Zambia, the tourist attraction of Victoria Falls has dried to a trickle after the worst drought in over 100 years, feeding “climate change” fears.
VOLCANOES
In New Zealand, a volcano eruption on Whakaari/White Island occurred while 47 tourists were touring the island. 14 people are dead and two are classified as missing, though one body has been spotted in the water. 25 are in hospitalized with severe burns. 1,292 square feet of skin to treat patients. The mission to retrieve the six bodies that were left on the island was hazardous. As of this writing, they will not be returning to the island for a land-based search on Saturday, but are analyzing all information available and assessing possible next steps.
Russia’s Avachinsky volcano is showing increased unrest. Authorities warn locals and tourists to stay away from the volcano.
EARTHQUAKES
Two scientists say they’ve found that the Cascadia and San Andreas Faults may be linked, with earthquakes on one triggering events in the other “with minimal or no separation in time.” They’ll present their findings on Friday, Dec. 13. The San Andreas Fault stretches about 750 miles and has the potential to produce major earthquakes. It is one of the most dangerous faults in the U.S. as it is lined by heavily populated areas, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. Because there has not been a large earthquake at San Andreas for over 100 years, experts are concerned it could be due soon.
In Ohio, Lake County experienced three small earthquakes in 5 days: In Mentor on the Lake, Lake Erie, and Eastlake.
Japan: Several earthquakes in the ocean off the coast of Japan this week, up to 5.9 magnitude.
Turkey‘s northwestern province was jolted with over 70 earthquakes in less than 12 hours, highest being 4.6 followed by two successive earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.3 and 4.0 in half an hour. Later in the week there was a 5.0 and a 5.2.
A number of earthquakes occurred in the oceans that were between 5.0 and 5.9 this week in diverse place.

Hallmark TV channel began airing a commercial featuring a lesbian wedding with an open-mouth kiss, days after its CEO said he’s “open to” original movies featuring gay couples. When contacted, the CEO claims he wasn’t aware of it, and pulled the ad. But Hallmark has catered to LGBT’s for several years in ads that apparently don’t appear on the channel, and on their website and with greeting cards. No doubt, their TV channel will fully bow to that agenda soon enough.
In New York, an accused Child Molester was Bailed Out by Charity Only to Assault Another Child Weeks Later. When he was caught on camera forcing a 3-year-old boy’s head into his crotch at a laundromat, he was only charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. And The Bronx Freedom Fund posted his $2,000 bail. He didn’t show up to court on Nov. 8. Then on Dec. 1, he was caught sticking his hand inside an 8-year-old girl’s skirt in a shopping mall.
St. Paul’s Church in Sweden said they’re proud to accept a painting for the new altarpiece, and unveiled it on Sunday, the first day of Advent to “celebrate inclusivity” by replacing Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden with gay couples in suggestive poses. Elizabeth Wallin is also known for others. For example: the Transgender Last Supper; another of gay men in leather surrounding Jesus; and another, “Ecce Homo,” portraying Jesus’ baptism with the model standing for Christ having his penis exposed.
In England, Pastor Keith Waters, a Christian pastor, was forced to resign as caretaker at a primary school and also received death threats for tweeting: “Christians should not support or attend LGBTQ ‘Pride Month’ events…They promote a culture and encourage activities contrary to Christian faith and morals. They are especially harmful to children.” The school’s headmaster informed him he was under investigation for bringing the school “into disrepute.” The Christian Legal Centre has taken his case.

But, “be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23).
HATRED OF JEWS AND ISRAEL AKA HATRED OF GOD
A video showed how European BDS activists against Israel should be treated who think they’re going to have fun filming themselves harassing IDF soldiers. A tour group gave them a good tongue lashing.
The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that food and wine produced by Jewish Israelis beyond the “Green Line” must be explicitly marked. The law does not apply to products produced by Muslim Arabs in these territories. This is essentially institutionalized discrimination against Jews in EU law to please so-called “Palestinians” and the Arab world.
In Spain, an Israeli delegation of Arabs and Jews were in Madrid to talk to Spanish lawmakers about reversing their EU decision to biasedly label Israeli settlement products (the BDS goal: so people won’t buy them). After meeting with Spanish lawmakers, delegation members participated in a panel discussion at a Madrid hotel, where they explained why marking Israeli settlement products hurts both Arabs and Jews. A short while after the panel began, BDS members started waving PLO flags, hurling insults, rioting, and trying to physically attack both Arab and Jewish members of the delegation.
In New Jersey, the state with the 2nd most stringent gun control laws, a police officer and 3 civilians were killed after 2 shooters targeted a Jewish grocery store. They were members of an extremist group that call themselves Black Hebrew Israelites. Adherents believe African Americans are the true chosen people, the real descendants of the Hebrews of the Bible. They believe Jews are devilish impostors, and they openly condemn whites as evil personified. You may remember this group ranting at the Catholic students in Covington.
Former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley condemned Canada for voting in favor of an anti-Israel General Assembly resolution. She rightfully said Canada made a “deal with the devil.”
Britain’s Labour Party is mired with accusations of anti-Semitism in the Party. Many, including activists, lawmakers and the mainstream Jewish community, say the blame lies with the party’s leader, Jeremy Corbyn, an unabashed socialist and self-described anti-racist. One rabbi saying the Labour Party is aligned with the Angel of Darkness. Corbyn suffered a massive defeat to Boris Johnson in Thursday’s election.
In Germany at a massive rally, Muslims shouted for Jews to go back to Khaybar, a way of saying they need to be massacred. 1,400 years ago, Khaybar was inhabited by Jews until they were killed before and during the Battle of Khaybar by Muhammad’s forces. This is where the phrase, “Allahu Akbar” was first heard when Muhammad shouted it. It means “Allah is greater” as in Allah is greater than the God of the Jews.

Some good news first: During the annual lighting of the White House Christmas tree this year, President Trump made good on his promise to bring “Merry Christmas” back to America. He then doubled down by referring to Jesus Christ as “God” and “Our Lord and Savior.”

A New York public school rejected a student Christian club, but okayed a LGBT Pride Club. The request for a student Christian club was denied on grounds that it was too “exclusive” and that a public school could not support a religious club.

It was a pretext to remove the elderly so they could move immigrants into the building later. Andrea Ström of the so-called “Moderate Party” thinks allocation of the units to “contribute to integration” is a “very good” thing. Since the migrant crisis began in 2015, Sweden has taken in more per capita than any other country. In addition to facing growing violent crime and sexual assaults, they’re running out of funds to support the welfare-dependent migrants. 8 of 10 municipalities in Sweden are set to slash funds for basic public services – including those for the disabled and the elderly – to offset the high cost of taking in large numbers of welfare-dependent migrants. The situation in Sweden has deteriorated to such an extent that the Danish government has introduced border checks to ensure their country’s security.

In Kenya, Muslim terrorists stopped a bus and killed the Christians for failing to recite the Islamic Shahada. Nine are known dead and two are missing and presumed dead. The attack comes a month after 8 construction workers escaped when a Somali militant group ambushed their van. It’s common in northeast Kenya for terrorists to target buses, separate passengers and kill Christians. In 2018, Fredrick Ngonde and Joshua Obila were killed in a similar manner for declining to recite the Islamic creed. In 2015, 148 students at Garissa University were killed after Muslim students were freed. Same year, Muslim teacher Salah Farah was shot for defending Christian passengers who were separated for execution. In 2014, 28 teachers traveling to Nairobi for Christmas were killed after being forced to recite the Islamic statement of faith.

In July of last year, a major medical convention expected to bring in 15,000 visitors and $40 million in tourism dollars decided to stop holding the event in San Francisco because attendees didn’t feel safe walking the streets.

Climate-alarm scientists were caught tampering with raw data in order to exaggerate sea-level rise. The raw (unadjusted) data from 3 Indian Ocean gauges showed local sea level trends in the last 140 years had been very gently rising, neutral or negative (i.e. sea levels had fallen). But after the evidence had been adjusted by tidal records gatekeepers at the global databank Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level (PSMSL) it suddenly showed a sharp and dramatic rise. The whistle was blown by two Australian scientists in a paper for Earth Systems and Environment.

In France, riot police used tear gas on protesters last Saturday to break up demonstrations that have brought Paris to a halt.
In the Muslim nation of Algiers, protests continue. Tens of thousands of demonstrators called for all members of the system of power in place to be removed and for a major change in the political system. They rejected the Dec. 12 election, describing it as an “election organized by a corrupt power….”
WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS
The US will send 20,000 troops to Europe next April and May in its biggest military exercises on European soil in 25 years.
A US Senate committee backed legislation to impose sanctions on Turkey after its offensive in Syria and its purchase of the Russian S-400 missile system.
Five Iranian militia members were killed after unidentified aircraft attacked Iranian military warehouses in Syria near the Iraqi border last Saturday night, second attack in the area in the past several days.
Russia claims two of its Su-35 fighter jets last Saturday thwarted an Israeli airstrike on the T-4 airbase in Syria, causing the Israeli craft to return to base. But it’s known to make outrageous claims. The blog also reported that the Israeli attack had been planned against an advanced weapons shipment from Iran to the airbase. As of now, the location of these air defense systems is unknown. However, since most airstrikes attributed to Israel have taken place on the outskirts of Damascus (in the area of its international airport) or on the Syria-Iran border, the report said, it is undeniable that the Iranian-made system is now located within those two areas. The report further stated that the system might have middle- to long-distance aerial capabilities. The report comes in light of an additional shipment. A day earlier, an Iranian Boeing 747 used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also arrived in Damascus from Iran.
In Iraq, two rockets landed near International Airport Wednesday making it the tenth attack against US installations or interests in Iraq over the last several weeks, and the second attack near the airport in a week. On Monday, four rockets wounded six Iraqi security forces. On Friday, US Secretary of State Pompeo blamed Iran and warned of a “decisive US response” if the regime or its militias harm American troops or allies in the region.
Iran’s senior IRGC adviser said if Israel made the smallest error when it came to Iran, it would “level Tel Aviv from Lebanon.” Israeli Foreign Minister Katz responded by saying Israel won’t allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and will take military action to prevent it should all options fail.
Iranian backed militias are constructing an underground tunnel believed to be used to smuggle arms and military equipment along the Syria-Iraq border, intelligence footage shows.

ISRAEL ELECTION DEFLECTION
The Israeli parliament began voting to dissolve itself and pave the path to an unprecedented third election in a year. The preliminary vote passed without objections. Barring a nearly unfathomable about-face, more measures are expected to pass and call a new election for March 2, 2020.

EU (aka Evil Union) foreign ministers will discuss next month whether the 28-nation bloc should modify its Middle East policy amid growing concern that Israeli settlement activity and U.S. diplomatic moves are undermining hopes for a two-state solution. “If we want a two-state solution we need to help and encourage both parties to enter into a serious and credible negotiation, and this is not the case” at the moment, new EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said after chairing talks between the ministers.
