Major flooding hits Chicago, city on pace to break the monthly May rainfall record. Severe thunderstorms and two probable tornadoes, ripped through the Chicago area on May 17, causing major flooding and leading to numerous water rescues.
Mammoth Hailstone so Large That it Went Through the Roof of a House During an Extreme Storm in Texas. This occurred on May 22. The San Angelo hail storm was among the worst, dating back to 1995.
Giant hail, some as big as melons, hits San Luis Potosi, Mexico. An intense storm accompanied by hail on May 17 smashed vehicles, damaged roofs of many houses, and disrupted power services. Three people were slightly injured.
Disaster fatigue’ could threaten hurricane season preparedness. The official start is less than two weeks away, and Tropical Storm Arthur has already hit the East Coast. Emergency officials are concerned that the economic and emotional toll COVID-19 has taken on individuals will impact their ability to effectively prepare. “They’re tired of seeing the numbers. Two shallow earthquakes hit off California’s North Coast late Sunday and early Monday, a 4.7 and a 5.5. The quakes were felt, but there were no reports of major damage.
Deadly Earthquake Strikes Southwest China. A 5.0 quake on Monday killed at least four people and injured 23 others.
Earthquake Swarm off the Coast of Greece. Three Monday (5.8, 5.3 and 5.1); Four Tuesday (4.8 to 4.9); One Wednesday (4.7); Three Thursday (4.7 and 5.1 and a 6.2); One Saturday (5.2).
6.2 earthquake struck central Mediterranean Sea. The epicenter of the quake, about 240 km (149 miles) southwest of Greece’s Methoni region. This is the second earthquake to hit the Mediterranean this month, after an earthquake of magnitude 6 struck the Greek island of Crete on May 2.
Earthquake in Kiruna: Most powerful in Sweden in 12 years. The 4.9 caused rocks to crash into the LKAB mine in several places. The mining company is the largest iron ore producer in Europe. Workers were evacuated immediately, but there was work at the site on Monday to get the water pumps running in the mine and prevent the water level from reaching the power plant.

Church of England school assigns disgusting sexual homework to 11- to 14-year-old students. Archbishop Sentamu Academy assigned the homework to pupils, requiring they define terms such as “transvestite,” hardcore porn,” and more. Other portions of the assignment included research on subjects such as soft porn, hardcore porn, transsexual porn, female genital mutilation, wet dreams, breast ironing, etc. The principal said, “Materials we share with students are produced in line with government guidance, PSHE Association Programmes of Study and the Sex Education Forum’s definition of Sex Education. Yet the Bible says Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

In 2011, before the ceremony in which John Paul II was made a “saint” by the Catholic church, his coffin was removed from its tomb and a private ceremony was held before it as priests and nuns kissed the coffin. Then it was brought outside and kept on display for a few hours before taking it to St. Peter’s Basilica. A massive crowd waited while monks were on their knees before the display.

In the Thursday morning attack, the gunman, Adam Alsahli, a Syrian-born U.S. citizen, opened fire, wounding one sailor. The assailant was killed. The shooter supported terrorism. Alsahli had been a student at Del Mar College. The shooting comes months after a Saudi Air Force officer, Mohammed Alshamrani, who was training at a Navy base in Pensacola, Florida, killed three U.S. sailors and wounded eight other people. He’d been in touch with al-Qaida operatives about terrorist planning.

Thousands are asking to come to Israel for medical assistance or to emigrate. $21 Million Brooklyn Field Hospital Shuts Down: COVID-19 Patients Treated — Zero. The facility was part of Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s demand for thousands of additional hospital beds for what he predicted would be a massive influx of COVID patients. The city built smaller facilities at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center (350 beds) and Stony Point on Long Island, along with a 2,910-bed medical center at the Javitz Center. All told, the city shelled out $350 million for facilities it never needed.
Many field hospitals went largely unused, will be shut down. New tent hospitals sit empty on two suburban New York college campuses, never having treated a coronavirus patient. Convention centers that were turned into temporary hospitals in other cities went mostly unused. A Navy hospital ship that offered help in Manhattan is to depart. When virus infections slowed down or fell short of worst-case predictions, the globe was left with barely used or unused field hospitals.
Dershowitz says forced coronavirus vaccination could happen. He said people who object to being vaccinated may be forced to submit to further quarantine. Bill Gates and Other Medical Experts on Different Pages: Other experts say ‘Hydroxychloroquine is safer’ than the planned vaccine. Dr. Jane Orient of the Assoc. of American Physicians and Surgeons, said, “People are reacting strongly over the effect of hydroxychloroquine, but it’s much safer than this vaccine.” The vaccine [they’re working on now] has not been used before. Dr. Marilyn Singleton, former president of AAPS, said, “Bill Gates, the second largest donor to WHO, appears to be running the world response to COVID-19. No HCQ — you must get sick and die waiting for the vaccine that Gates will fund and profit from.” “Ignoring requests for other types of aid, Gates has peddled his vaccines as the cure of all the ills of developing countries while violating human rights and informed-consent laws and sidelining other effective solutions,” she continued.

He criticized Fauci (though they’re friends) for possibly shading evidence. [But these shaders don’t want anything positive said about hydroxychloroquine, or herd immunity.]
500 doctors sign letter to Trump to end coronavirus shutdown, say it will cause more deaths. They point to increased suicides, increased drug and alcohol consumption, and domestic and child abuse. The letter estimates 150,000 Americans each month that the shutdown remains in place would have had new cancer detected, and millions more missing dental exams that could discover problems linked to heart disease. Tell that to globalists who’ve found this pandemic so “convenient.” Tell that to Democrat governors who are tyrannical in their guidelines. Also, due to the checks and balances in our Constitution, governmental power is split between federal and state officials.

EU: We will not recognize any changes to 1967 borders. The European Union’s High Rep for Foreign Affairs said the EU will not accept an Israeli move to apply sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria.

Iraq: Rocket lands near US embassy inside Baghdad’s Green Zone. A rocket hit an empty house in the Iraqi capital’s heavily fortified Green Zone. It was launched from an eastern district of Baghdad and was the first to land in the high-security zone in weeks.
US Navy sends subs to sea as message to China‘s bullying. China has been accused of intensifying its occupation of man-made islands and bullying other nations in the region while much of the world has been focused on the pandemic. “Our operations are a demonstration of our willingness to defend our interests and freedoms under international law,” Rear Adm. Blake Converse, Pacific sub force commander based at Pearl Harbor, said.
In other news, the deadline is approaching for this administration to certify (by Monday) whether China is respecting the autonomy of Hong Kong, and whether China is abusing special trade privileges the U.S. still allots to the territory, but not to China itself. If the administration can’t certify China’s compliance, it’s supposed to trigger a series of sanctions — including possible punitive tariffs and loss of visa travel privileges. This decision took on added heft Thursday after reports that China’s legislature is preparing to impose new national security rules on Hong Kong.
Eyeing Iran, US warns to stay 100 meters away from its warships. The US Navy issued a warning to mariners in the Gulf to stay 109 yards away from US warships or risk being “interpreted as a threat and subject to lawful defensive measures” It follows an incident last month in which 11 Iranian vessels came close to US Navy and Coast Guard ships in the Gulf, in what the US military called “dangerous and provocative” behavior.
U.S. to sell Taiwan $180 million of torpedoes. China claims Taiwan is its territory. The U.S government notified Congress of a possible sale of advanced torpedoes to Taiwan. The US, like most countries, has no official diplomatic ties with Taiwan, but is bound by law to provide the island with the means to defend itself.
U.S. masses planes at Japan base to show foes and allies it can handle coronavirus. “It shows both our adversaries as well as our allies in Japan the importance of our placement, the importance of our ability to execute our mission,” base Vice Commander, Colonel Jason Mills, said. U.S. forces are stationed in Japan to defend its Asian ally from attack from North Korea, but also to check China’s growing influence in the wider region, including Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.

Iran’s supreme leader releases anti-Israel ‘final solution’ poster. The poster was released from Khamenei’s office to celebrate Quds Day, the annual Iranian regime rally calling for Israel’s destruction. The picture shows a conquered Jerusalem with photos of the late Quds Force terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani. Khamenei said, “We will support and assist any nation or any group anywhere who opposes and fights the Zionist regime, and we do not hesitate to say this.”
ARMAGEDDON PREPARATION
God says, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it…
“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon” (Zechariah 12:2-3, 10-11).
“And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth” (Zechariah 14:12).
PENTECOST: HOLY SPIRIT IMPLANTATION
Pentecost, is next Sunday, May 31. As we know, on Pentecost, Jesus sent the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to dwell in His believers.
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting… And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues… And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language” (Acts 2:1-6).
RAPTURE FIRST, THEN TRIBULATION
One day soon, the restraining power of the Holy Spirit will depart along with us when Jesus catches us up in the rapture to escape the coming wrath on this wicked world.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-10).
“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour” (1 John 2:18).
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:16-19).
