Iraq’s Salahaddin province declared three days of mourning over a deadly attack blamed on the Daesh group (ISIS). Late last Saturday, a roadside bomb hit a civilian car on an open road. When security forces arrived, militants opened fire on them. The attack killed at least six Iraqi security personal and four civilians, including one who died of his wounds overnight.

The strikes targeted Hamas military sites including “two rocket manufacturing sites, underground infrastructure and a training facility for the Hamas terror group’s naval force.”
Syria blames Israel for Tuesday strikes. Syria blames Israel for a series of airstrikes south of Damascus and on the Golan Heights. Strikes reportedly targeted Iranian, Hezbollah targets; 8 pro-Iranian fighters are said to have been killed. However, Syrian media claims only material damage.
Thursday Air strikes likely carried out by Israel killed at least 19 pro-Iran militia fighters in Syria. The strikes hit positions of Iran-backed militias in Deir Ezzor province, killing mostly Pakistani fighters.
Iran vows to crush any Israeli attempt to hit its “advisory” role in Syria, saying the era of “hit and run” attacks by Israel there were over, days after Israel carried out air strikes on Syrian army and Iranian paramilitary targets in the country. Iran’s leaders deny their Islamic Republic has military forces in Syria, just advisors. They lie.
Iran’s leader say Iran will not renegotiate the nuclear deal. Khamenei reiterated his past views that the U.S. elections have no implications for Iran, and he minimized their significance, saying, “It does not matter who will be the next president in the United States.” He added, “The decline of the United States is certain … The situation in the United States and its internal debate regarding the recent elections demonstrate the ugly reality of liberal democracy inside the country.”
