The Persecution Relief report states, “Hate crimes against Christians in India have risen by an alarming 40.87% despite a nationwide lockdown since March 25.” 293 cases of persecution were reported in the first six months of 2020. This included five religious-motivated rapes and six religiously-motivated murders. “In most cases, the attackers are right-wing Hindus who want to turn India into a Hindu-only nation.” Between January 2016 and June 2020, there were 2,067 crimes inspired by religious intolerance against Christians in India.

Africa: 14 Baptist church members killed by Fulani Muslims in Nigeria. Residents have since fled the area as farming communities continue to be targeted. Genocide has claimed the lives of over 1,400 Christians in Nigeria this year alone by Muslim groups, and over 1,000 kidnapped. When officials arrived, they were only concerned as to whether any households had rescued portraits of the Kim leaders.

Lebanon Protests as Lebanon arrests 16 over deadly Beirut blast. The explosion was caused by ammonium nitrate (widely used for fertilizer) stored for several years. Officials said the death toll from the explosion that killed at least 157 people and injured 5,000 others was expected to rise as search-and-rescue operations continued for missing people. Tens of thousands signed a petition calling for Lebanon to be placed under French mandate. “Lebanon’s officials have clearly shown a total inability to secure and manage the country,” the petition reads. “With a failing system, corruption, terrorism and militia the country has just reached its last breath.” “We believe Lebanon should go back under the French mandate in order to establish a clean and durable governance.” However, other citizens denounced the petition as a means to continue French colonialism.

French president Emmanuel Macron’s moment amid cheering crowds in devastated Beirut. He allowed himself to be thronged by residents of one of the worst-hit neighborhoods. Dozens chanted “revolution” and pleaded with him for help. Long-simmering anger against Lebanon’s leaders has flared since the blast. Israel estimates that the likelihood that Hezbollah will carry out its threats to harm Israel has dropped significantly following the explosion in Lebanon. California: Senate committee kills bill to fund trans hormones, breast and genital amputation for minors. The bill had previously passed in the Assembly, the lower chamber, mostly on party lines with little debate. We don’t have to wonder which Party was in favor of the bill.

UK: Former councilor Roger Spackman who worked at a children’s home was caught with immense collection of pedophilic images; gets suspended sentence. One image included rape of a 12-year-old girl and 48 “extreme pornographic images involving an animal.” The disgusting footage was found across 68 electronic devices at his home. But all he received was a 10-month sentence, suspended for two years, and a 40-day rehabilitation stint.

ABORTION ABOMINATION

Georgia: Federal judge says heartbeat abortion law is unconstitutional. The law essentially banned abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, but this month’s ruling permanently blocked the law from taking effect.

Democrats Introduce Bill to Repeal Amendment Barring U.S. Funds to Provide Abortion Overseas. Of course, they claim the race card, saying it blocks brown and black women from getting abortions. In other words, they would prefer these women kill their babies. Sound hypocritical? You bet.

Kenya could introduce abortion up to birth, under radical Bill pushed by international abortion organizations, including Ipas and Planned Parenthood Global. The bill is currently progressing through Kenya’s Senate. If it progresses past a Third Reading, the 349 MPs which make up Kenya’s lower house will debate and vote on the Bill’s fate. The ‘Termination of Pregnancy’ section of the bill outlines that abortion would be available without a time limit on grounds that “the pregnancy would endanger the life or health of the mother.” While this language appears to provide abortion on only narrow grounds, in practice it will likely allow for abortion on demand to be available up to birth in Kenya through a broad interpretation of the term “health.” [Abortion is never necessary; only early delivery if the mother’s health is in danger.]

EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS

US Pacific Northwest: Record-challenging, triple-digit heat. After several days of temperatures in the 90s over interior portions of the Pacific Northwest, meteorologists say that the highest temperatures are yet to come.

Washington, DC: More Than 125,000 Lightnings Strike Washington DC in Just Two Hours During Unprecedented Electrical Storm. Powerful thunderstorms consolidated over the D.C. area Thursday evening, releasing a dramatic and memorable outburst of thunder and lightning while also dispensing tremendous rainfall. Energized by stifling heat and humidity, it was the fourth day in a row of vigorous summer storms in some locations.

Arizona: It’s a Scorcher! Phoenix sets record with high temp of 118 degrees on July 30. That’s a new record, breaking the old record of 115 degrees, set back in 1934. Unfortunately, there’s no rain in sight.

Mississippi: Second Straight Year of Flooding Threatens Another Year of Crops for farmers in the Mississippi River Delta, one of the poorest regions in the US. Farmers are now facing a second year without profits.

Hawaii: Hurricane Douglas Brushed Hawaii; Closest Hurricane to Oahu in At Least 61 Years. Douglas brushed Hawaii with rain and wind, but its track spared the islands its worst by just a few dozen miles.

Tropical Depression Hanna Unleashes Flooding, Power Outages Across South Texas, Northeastern Mexico. Tropical Depression Hanna continued to lash South Texas and northeastern Mexico on July 26 with high winds and torrential downpours. Chris Birchfield, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Brownsville, Texas, said even though Hanna’s winds had weakened, the heavy rainfall was still a real threat. “We’re not even close to over at this point,” Birchfield said. “We’re still expecting catastrophic flooding.”

Tropical Depression “Hanna” barrels through Mexico, leaving 11 people dead or missing. After making landfall in Texas as Category 1 hurricane, Hanna weakened into a tropical depression as it barreled through Mexico, bringing severe flooding that caused considerable property damage, killed at least five people, and left six others missing in the northeast states on July 26.

Tropical Storm Isaias is pounding parts of the Caribbean: Dozens of People Rescued as Isaias Triggers Flooding, Landslides in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. It’s moving toward Florida and the southeast coast. Isaias formed on July 30. It’s the earliest 9^th Atlantic named storm formation on record. It’s the 5^th Atlantic named storm formation in July 2020, tying it with 2005 for the most Atlantic named storm formations on record (since 1851) during July.

Argentina: There’s so Much Snow in Patagonia Right Now That Cattle, Horses and Sheep Are Buried Alive. Patagonia is suffering one of the worst winters in recent years, with heavy snowfall (up to 1.5 meters; 5 feet) and extreme temperatures around 20 degrees below zero.

Norway: Coldest summer in 30 to 60 years. Early in July, more than 10 m (32 feet) of snow accumulated in parts of the southern region, which was unprecedented for this time of the year.

India: Severe flood situation continues in Bihar, nearly 4 million affected.

India: Mumbai records wettest July since records began.

Bangladesh: 119 dead, 4 million affected as Bangladesh remains in grip of severe flooding. The Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (FFWC) warned that major rivers in the central districts around Dhaka are expected to rise in the following days.

Nigeria: Massive flooding forecast to sweep through wide swaths of Nigeria between September and October. The red alert came days after flash flooding ripped through the Suleja local government area of Niger State that resulted in at least 11 fatalities.

Australia: Coastal low prompts thousands of rescues in New South Wales. A coastal low brought strong winds, heavy rainfall, flooding, and damaging surf to parts of New South Wales last weekend.

SHARK SIGHTINGS; ATTACKS

Maine: The Shark that killed a woman confirmed as great white. The shark that killed a former New York City fashion executive off the coast of Maine this week was a great white — and it’s still out there, officials said Tuesday. A fragment of the shark’s tooth allowed scientists to identify it as a great white. Dead seals with giant bite marks are washing up in Maine after deadly shark attack. Beachgoers are advised not to go more than ankle deep. 3 shark sightings reported in Maine since fatal great white attack.

Massachusetts: Beaches in Plymouth and Orleans just reopened to swimmers after great white shark sightings Wednesday.

EARTHQUAKES

Philippines: A 6.4 earthquake struck Mindanao on August 1. The quake had a depth of 473 kilometers. No other information is available as of this writing, but considering how deep the quake was, perhaps there was no damage or injuries.

WARS AND RUMORS OF WAR: KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM

Russia-backed militia taking over Syrian Golan Heights. Russia is steadily gaining control over Syria’s Golan Heights recently, establishing its own strong militia in the area. It’s headed by a local rebel commander who fought against Syria’s regime. Supposedly they’re anti-Iran as well. This is a positive turn of events as far as Israel is concerned, the report states, since Putin’s interested in keeping flames between Jerusalem and Damascus low. Do you smell an agenda?  “Thus says the Lord GOD: ‘On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan” (Ezekiel 38:10).

Massive explosion at Iraqi base linked to Iranian-backed militias. An Iraqi military base with a large ammunition dump exploded on July 26. The same base was the scene of a mysterious explosion last year that pro-Iranian militias in Iraq blamed on Israel. Explosions on July 26 appeared similar to those last year but also similar to blasts at the same base when it was used by the US and mortar fire ignited ammunition in 2006. The explosion adds fuel to the fire of tensions. That is why Iraq quickly said it was an accident, so that rumors do not grow.

Is Hezbollah interested in a wide-scale conflict with Israel? “It [Hezbollah] wants to promote some action that will be considered a retaliatory action to preserve its deterrence, and at the same time contain its response so that it will not cause deterioration into a wider conflict in which it is not currently interested.”

Reminds me of special mention God makes against terrorists in Lebanon and Gaza in Joel 3 at the Battle of Armageddon. “Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon [Lebanon-Hezbollah], and all the coasts of Philistia [Gaza-Hamas]? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head” (Joel 3:4).

CONCLUSION

New Poll: Americans See the Hand of God at Work in Current Events. An Associated Press/NORC survey found that 63 percent of the 1,002 religious Americans polled believe this pandemic is “a sign from God,” telling humanity to change its ways of living.

No matter what, the globalists have used the coronavirus to further their agenda, just like they use other things and events to do so. The world is being prepared for the soon-coming, prophesied global government that the Antichrist will end up heading.

But God can and does use events for His own purposes. Have you noticed that so many things that distract people from God have been removed during this pandemic? There’s no doubt in my mind that He is trying to get the attention of the world to turn to Christ (who is God in the flesh) while there is yet time.

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18).

“Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” (Ephesians 5:14-17).
