Iran Brags About Having the Ability to Assemble an Atomic Bomb

Last week Iran boasted that it now has the ‘technical means’ to produce a nuclear bomb. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said earlier this month that Tehran had started “feeding… a cascade of… centrifuges” at a fuel enrichment plant. If high-grade uranium was loaded into those centrifuges, it could be the final step to achieving bomb-grade uranium.

“In a few days, we were able to enrich uranium up to 60%, and we can easily produce 90% enriched uranium…. Iran has the technical means to produce a nuclear bomb, but there has been no decision by Iran to build one,” said a senior adviser, Kamal Kharrazi.

Uranium-235 is an isotope of uranium, making up about 0.72% of natural uranium. Unlike the predominant isotope uranium-238, it is fissile, i.e., it can sustain a nuclear chain reaction. Once the purity gets above 50% Uranium-235, it becomes very easy to reach the 90% target. It has also become harder for the world to track Iran’s enrichment progress.

Iran has long denied seeking nuclear weapons, saying it is refining uranium only for civilian energy uses and has said its breaches of Tehran’s 2015 nuclear deal with world powers are reversible if the United States lifts sanctions and rejoins the agreement.

Tehran gave assurances that its nuclear policy was unchanged and that it still adhered to a fatwa banning weapons of mass destruction after an Iranian official said the country was able to make atomic bombs.

“In regard to the topic of weapons of mass destruction, we have the fatwa,” or religious edict, by Iran’s supreme leader that prohibits the manufacture of such weapons, said foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani.

The fatwa declares the use of atomic bombs and other weapons of mass destruction to be forbidden by Islam, and it is often cited by Iranian authorities as a guarantee of Tehran’s good intentions.

It is silly for an oil-rich country to claim it needs nuclear power to produce electricity. Iran has a 40-year supply of oil, so why would it want to waste billions of dollars on an energy source that’s a dozen times more expensive?

It is just plain insulting to our intelligence for Iran to claim its religion bans it from building weapons of mass destruction. If Iran does make a nuke, we can say we bombed their nuclear storage site to prevent them from backsliding in their faith.

In 2018, former US President Donald Trump ditched the deal and applied new economic sanctions on Iran. Tehran was violating the deal anyway, so Trump made the right move.

State Department spokesman Ned Price said US President Joe Biden “has made a commitment that Iran will not acquire a nuclear weapon.”

“We continue to believe that diplomacy is the most effective, durable, and sustainable means by which to achieve that,” he added.

There has been a series of talks in Vienna to revive the 2015 nuclear deal. The lack of any progress since March should make it clear that Iran is just stalling for time.

Iran is using the same playbook that allowed North Korea to achieve nuclear power status. The US government agreed to facilitate the supply of two light water reactors to North Korea in exchange for North Korean disarmament. Such reactors are considered “more proliferation-resistant.” We also provided fuel aid to North Korea to buy its compliance. Because the North Koreans were determined to get the bomb, no amount of goodwill on our part would work.

I think at some point, Israel is going to have to take military action. Iran would only need around 10 nuclear bombs to wipe the Jewish state off the map. Israel cannot coexist with a nuclear-armed enemy that chants for its destruction.

I am actually very surprised that Iran doesn’t already have a nuclear bomb. Iran’s nuclear program was launched in the 1950s with the help of the United States under the Atoms for Peace program. Since at least 2003, it has been conducting experiments aimed at designing a nuclear bomb. Most nations that set out to build an atomic bomb had one within 10 years. Iran has floundered because God has cursed its progress. If Iran goes nuclear, God may curse the nation itself.

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:3).

Seas and Waves Really Roaring!

We’ve covered Jesus’ Olivet Discourse many times. There has been plenty of fodder in it to provide evidence that stage-setting for prophetic fulfillment is ramping up on a timeline of frequency and intensity.

One of our most-looked-at prophecies that involves the Lord speaking on things to come is found in the following:

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. (Luke 21:25)

While application has been made to the physical elements involved in this prophecy—the seas and waves of the literal oceans indicating that nature is responding violently to man’s rejection of God—some word studies show that the “seas and waves” in this instance refers to the peoples of the earth.

I believe this could be a dual application. The Lord might well have been speaking of both the literal geophysical condition and the human condition.

However, the prophetic utterance leading into the “seas and waves roaring” statement involves the reference to nations “in distress,” “with perplexity,” seemingly making it more likely to mean that the “seas of people” will be in a high degree of uproar—which is why I use the word “really” in the title of this week’s piece.

People are really in an uproar as of the time of this writing. Europe, in particular, is in upheaval, due to economics and food scarcity brought on by increasingly dictatorial governments.

Following are excerpts that prove Jesus’ words about the “seas and waves roaring” at the end of the age, which is where we almost certainly find ourselves.

For weeks there have been protests by farmers in the Netherlands against their left-wing government’s Great Reset policies, the EU’s “Green Deal,” and the associated forced closure of farms. Their government’s radical ‘climate change’ measures aim to slash emissions in some provinces by 95%. That would mean the end for about 30 percent of the farmers…

Farmers in other nations, Spain, Italy, Poland, Germany, and France, have begun their own protests as the E.U. intensifies its efforts to slash emissions in all member states causing harm to citizens’ livelihoods and the global food supply.

Spain

The Netherlands protests and blockades are already affecting some supermarkets that are running out of food. Moreover, Spain’s farmers have again taken to the streets because of inflation…

Poland

Polish farmers also staged protests in Warsaw, marching in the streets against their government’s destabilizing policies:

Polish farmers also rise up in Warsaw: “That’s enough! We won’t let ourselves be robbed!” They accuse the political class of destabilizing production by raising interest rates, which does not stop inflation: “We workers cannot pay for the crisis created by the politicians!”…

Italian farmers have since joined the mass protests, having had enough of their left-wing government’s climate policies and rising food costs…

In [one] video, a farmer can be heard encouraging others to mobilize and stage their protests in Rome. “We are not slaves; we are farmers!” shouted a farmer from his tractor.

“You should all come along with us! Because under these conditions, we cannot put food on the table anymore! We can’t take it anymore! You should side with us! To Rome! We must go to Rome! Because we can’t take this anymore!”…

Germany

Farmers who learned from the Canadian Freedom truckers are currently blockading the Netherlands- German border with tractors to protest the World Economic Forum’s climate change policies of their government. Another case of the chaos due to governmental abuse is seen in protests of the people of Sri Lanka.

Bakery shelves were emptied due to ongoing food shortages, according to All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association (ACBOA) on Sunday a week ago. The report said that bakery products including bread would be emptied from the shelves in the next two or three days amid severe food shortage in the country.

The severe shortages and the way their government handled the crisis enraged the citizens. They took over the Sri Lankan president’s mansion, some sleeping in the bed of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who fled the premises.

The people swam in the luxurious pool and invaded all rooms of the palace, according to the report.

Sri Lanka is among the hardest-hit of places suffering food shortages, while the leaders across the world seem to have lost their collective minds as part of the Great Reset being implemented around much of the globe.

Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum seem to be the moving force at the center of the stage being set for the Antichrist regime prophesied to rule during the Tribulation.

So, with the seas and waves of humanity really beginning to roar, we should be looking up for our redemption, according to Luke 21:28.

You don’t want to be left behind when the Rapture takes place. The food crisis and every other sort of suffering will bring horrors that Jesus said will make it the worst time of all human history.

Here is how to avoid this coming time of crises and go to be with Christ when He calls.

The Resurgence of Covid-19

Hopes of a Covid-19 reprieve fade as the BA.5 subvariant takes over. Overall, the number of Covid-19 infections rose 30 percent globally in the past two weeks, with the Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 driving the increase in Europe and the US. The World Health Organization agency said it was also following a new sublineage that had been detected in India.

Europe is at the center of a resurgence in infections as more people mix at large-scale events and travel, according to the WHO. “We are seeing a much more intense wave of the disease passing through Europe again,” Michael Ryan, executive director of the WHO’s Health Emergencies Program, said at a media briefing.

“And we will see it happen elsewhere – we are already seeing it in Southeast Asia and in the eastern Mediterranean region as well.”

The number of COVID cases is up sharply from year over year. On Jul 11, 2022, there were 133,678 cases. In Jul 2021, there were 22,000 cases. This is a sixfold increase. The number of deaths was 396 on JUL 11, 2022, compared to 224 deaths on JUL 11, 2021. The virus is clearly more contagious but less deadly.

The new wave of infections has not yet led to a surge in intensive-care admissions. Last week, Britain reported a 32 percent rise in infections and said that hospital admissions are climbing, with intensive-care cases spreading among older age groups. The rise in hospitalizations is still far below previous waves, and widespread vaccination has made the pandemic far less deadly.

In the past, I’ve urged people to get the vaccines, but I now see them as pointless. All the current vaccines are focused on the Omicron strain. There is now a three-generation gap, which makes it unlikely that they would be useful against the latest strains.

The turnaround on booster shots now needs to be so rapid that a chance of a dangerous vaccine is sharply higher. We may soon find the cure is worse than the virus. I am particularly worried about children under the age of five getting the vaccine. Their immune system is still developing, and they are at the greatest risk of a complication from any vaccine.

When I said it was generally safe to get the vaccine for the original covid virus in mid-2020, there had already been 2.5 billion shots given out. I would not want to be the first person to get the shot for subvariant BA.2.75. We use supercomputers to check for billions of possible chemical reactions in the human body. The real number of potential reactions is in the trillions, so at some point, we are going to run into a major problem.

One of the greatest dangers of Covid-19 is that we no longer see it as a danger. Director-General of WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus recently said the world is in a better situation to fight the virus now than it was back in 2020 when it started to sweep around the world. “We won’t be the hostage of the virus like we had in the past two years,” he said at the briefing. “We know the virus; we have better tools to fight it.”

At any point, Covid could mutate into a form that has a very high mortality rate. Since everyone is sick of wearing masks, a new mandate would be largely ignored. We’ve already spent $10 trillion on this virus. The world no longer has the capacity for round II.

The Covid-19 virus is just a warning of what will take place during the tribulation. Bible prophecy clearly indicates that there will be end-time diseases that will kill vast numbers of people. Rather than ending on a sad note by quoting one of these plague scriptures, I would rather conclude with the verse that reminds us that God’s grace is always with us:

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

Love of Money: Evil

A question that frequently comes to mind: Why does it appear that, no matter which way we look in the world of national leadership, there are those in charge who seem bent on destroying our nation?

For example, consider that one writer described the Biden administration as having “throttled” US energy production. The president has trapped much of our nation’s vast energy reserves behind a wall of bureaucratic red tape. This action, which took place immediately after the president took office, has affected the American populace as few other economic decisions could.

Gas prices—as you no doubt can attest personally—have more than doubled in some areas around the country. We are now facing, according to some who are supposed to know, energy costs for our homes that will double in some areas of the nation.

All of this could begin to be instantly reversed by changing the energy policy back to the way it was before January of 2021.

But those who are in charge are in the camp of the “green” fanatics who constitute a very small percentage of the American population.

These have the complete support of the propagandists who are the national mainstream media and the Hollywood entertainment industry. They are the mouthpieces that day after day support every insane governmental policy imaginable.

This involves not only the destruction of energy that runs our industrial productivity, but the moral energy that the US inherited by our founding fathers, who saw fit to write into our Constitution and other documents common sense derived from God’s Word.

The question, again, is: Why are there those in leadership who are accomplishing the destruction of America?

We have often heard that America won’t be destroyed from outside forces, but by forces within. I used to doubt that when at university and even later, but not anymore. The erosion has become a caustic environment induced by leaders who seem to have lost their collective mind. They want to listen to the madness that is the mantra of the “Mother Earth” worshippers—the environmental wackos who say they believe we are destroying the earth through fossil fuels and must now go “green” in order to save the planet.

It is absolute madness, and we look at the leaders people keep electing who go along with all this insanity.

The answer is that the entire cabal that joins in this effort is controlled by the mind of Satan himself. It is Ephesians 6:12 “on steroids.”

But dissecting the things involved, we come to the crux of the matter. The cabal of leaders who are in control—many after decades of entrenchment within Washington, DC— are, I believe, in the financial pockets of the likes of George Soros and other elite globalist influencers. These influencers constitute the human element of the minions—the powers and principalities— in the high places of wickedness described by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:12.

Bottom line is the bottom line. That is, the Washington, DC, leaders, it is obvious, cast aside all concern for national well-being, for sovereignty, and all other facets involving our republic, including constitutional safeguards. They do so for one thing—to work toward financially feathering their own nests. The swamp is indeed a swamp of incestuous evil (in terms of nepotism and every other form of insider nefariousness).

Now, I’m not saying that every congressman, senator, or other government official is in this category. But certainly those in this category control and shape policies that are, evidence proves, tearing the nation apart. A nation so divided cannot stand, said Lincoln, who was taking that truth from Jesus.

These are doing the work of the evil one, whether realizing and acknowledging it or not. They are doing the globalist elites’ evil, which is, whether realizing it or not, doing the bidding of the mastermind behind the Great Reset blueprint to supposedly “build back better.”

It is the same old luciferic ploy: “I will ascend and put my star above the throne of God.”

He is the one who convinced the Tower of Babel builders to try to usurp that Holy Throne. He is back, in full fury, knowing that he has but a short time to try to turn around the fate that he will find impossible to avoid.

He plies these one-world builders and the DC swamp creatures with promises of great financial gain, appealing to one of fallen man’s most lusted-after commodity. He appeals to their love of money, which is the root of all sorts of evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Money buys power and influence, which is at the nucleus of fallen man’s pride and anti-God lusts. As Henry Kissinger once said, “Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac.”

The wicked geopoliticians lust after what the devil offers—great wealth and power. It will bring them, they think, the ultimate in satisfaction and pleasure. They refuse to believe that God in Heaven owns everything of material and spiritual wealth, and He created it all in absolute perfection. Satan and his minions—both demonic and human—have perverted that which God created.

To be in Christ, who paid in full for the sins of mankind, is to be a joint heir with Christ. Those in God’s family are to have all the wonders He owns.

The love of God, not the love of money, is where true riches await those who accept God’s grace gift of salvation.

Here, again, is how to become a joint heir with Jesus Christ:
