The Meltdown of Law Enforcement

You would have to go back to the 1960s to find a time of greater racial strife in America. The killing of two black men and five white police officers are signs that our nation is unraveling.

The center of the unrest is the belief that the police are purposely choosing to murder blacks. The sight of white police officers killing blacks looks disturbing because the media coverage is driven by an agenda. When a black man shoots a white cop, the press is silent. When a black man is killed by a cop, it’s time for “Breaking News.”

Anyone doubting the orchestration of events need only observe the media’s reaction to the Dallas shooting.

In the ambush, five police officers were killed and seven others were wounded, making it the deadliest single incident for U.S. law enforcement since September 11, 2001. The murders should have been a major embarrassment to the liberal media, Black Lives Matters, and the Obama Administration. Instead the tragedy was used to further their agendas.

The press gave the standard coverage they would give to any major tragedy. Two short days later, they went right back to where they were before the Dallas attack. The Sunday nightly newscasts led with narratives like this: “Anger grows over the shooting of two black men.”

I do not know how Obama can spend years as a racial strife arsonist, and then go down to Dallas and say, “We are not as divided as we seem.” He should have spoken only about the evil of the shooter and the need to appreciate the daily sacrifice of all police officers. He hijacked the memorial by going after gun-rights and repeatedly defending the protesters. This is a pattern he has established after each tragedy involving blacks or Muslims.

This war on law enforcement has had a devastating impact on the morale of local police forces. In most inner cities, cops are quitting in droves while murder rates soar. Officers are abandoning the Baltimore police force, and not many are applying to take their place.

At the beginning of 2015, Baltimore had 2,805 officers on its police force. By the end of the year, though, the force had shrunk to 2,634 officers—a drop of 6.1 percent. That decline has only accelerated in 2016, with the force dropping to just 2,445 in June, a decrease of 6.8 percent from January.

With fewer police on the streets, there is obviously going to be more crime. Murders in Baltimore surged a staggering 63 percent in 2015, with 344 people killed. The city’s pace is somewhat slower this year, but still well above what it was just a few years ago.

The city of Chicago has become infamous for its murder rate. During the Independence Day weekend, at least 64 people were shot. Before the holiday, the city officials tried to suppress the carnage by arresting 88 gang members. Homicides were up nearly 50 percent for the first half of 2016 compared to the same period last year. Chicago is on pace to record well over 600 homicides for the year; a bleak yardstick that was last surpassed in 2003.

A key factor that is fueling the soaring murder rate is the refusal of blacks to help solve crimes. A detective stated:

From patrol to investigation, it’s almost an undoable job now. If I get out of my car, the guys get hostile right away and several people are taping (with cell phones). Bystanders tamper with crime scenes and aggressively interfere with investigations. Additional officers may be needed during an arrest to keep angry onlookers away. It’s very dangerous out there now.

The black community views the police as so dangerous they have “the talk” with their children. The odds of a black person being killed by another black person are roughly 100 times higher than the odds of them being killed by a member of law enforcement. With rampant irrational behavior taking over, the odds will soon be 200, 400 or 1000 times higher.

By ignoring these stats the left has been essentially seeking the legalization of black and black crime. These horrendous black crime stats rarely make it to the nightly news. Obama never talks about blacks killing other blacks, and the Black Lives Matter thugs would be pleased to have their communities as “no go zones” for cops.

I could predict that crime is going to leapfrog higher in the coming months, but that would be like predicting the sun is going to rise tomorrow morning. It’s like trying to cure cancer by destroying a person’s immune system.

Once people wake-up and realize there is too much crime, they will learn that President Obama does have a (diabolical) answer to the problem. In March 2015, a report, titled “President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing Report,” was published. It urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid.

Already, more than 30 police jurisdictions have been forced to adopt federal rules. If we were to have rioting in numerous cities, there would be cries for the creation of a national police system which would lead to more federal government control and the loss of more of our freedoms.

God is holding back total lawlessness. A key thing to understand is that the day will soon come when He lets go and every day will become a terrorist nightmare in real time from which no one can escape.

“For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12).

Sea and Waves Roaring

Jesus’ Olivet Discourse prophecies continue to come alive while today’s news flashes in lightning-like fashion across our television and computer monitor screens.

We most often consider the terrorism and pyrotechnics of Middle Eastern madness. We talk about Russia and Iran (Persia) preparing to fulfill the Gog-Magog prophecies as given in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39.

Our efforts are often spent concentrating on what is happening with regard to the building one-world order in the areas of finance, religion and the many other ways such movement is manifesting.

We think in terms of the proliferating things happening within Europe –about the upheaval that seems to be rearranging for the prophesied revived Roman Empire. We look at monetary economic dynamics that are driving the world toward a global fiscal order that will eventuate in the 666 marks and numbers system of Revelation 13: 16-18.

Sometimes the natural order seems so disturbed that geophysical activity, such as earthquakes occurring simultaneously, floods raging and other phenomena erupting across the planet draws the attention of prophecy watchers. But, it is the creation called man that at present seems on the front-burner of prophetic progression –at least to this observer.

The Lord gave, during His prophecies of things to come as the time of His return in the Second Advent nears, a quite interesting description of the human condition at the very end of the age. The description seems to have a dual reference or application.

The particular prophecy of which I write is a foretelling by the Lord I believe we see developing at this very moment in time. It is building hourly in its virulence –in its evil, end times impact upon cultures and societies around the world. Here is Christ’s prophecy.

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.” (Lk 21: 25)

It is parts b and c of this prophecy that I wish us to examine. Jesus foretold that there will be “nations in distress with perplexity.” The “sea and waves”will be “roaring.”

We have looked a number of times in these commentaries at the fact that nations across the world are in distress with perplexity. The financial upheaval going on has Europe to the point of near-dissolution. The “Brexit” is one such manifestation. The great turmoil in Greece and other EU countries make it clear that the western world is suffering a nervous breakdown of sorts. Our own nation is hard on the heels of the schizophrenia developing over there.

The next part of Jesus’ prophecy foretells that the “sea and waves roaring”will be a prime marker of the last of the last days. By the time the Tribulation is full-blown the disturbances will bring planet earth to the point of total destruction. Only Christ’s return will quell the “roaring.”

“Sea and waves” can indicate the geophysical disturbances forecast for that era. But, it is the symbolic application that is much more the meaning in this case, I’m convinced.

“Sea and waves” in this case are symbolic of the peoples of earth. Jesus was saying they will, as a result of the “distress and perplexity” be “roaring.”

Jesus indicated as given in Luke 21:28 that He will return (in the Rapture) when this indicator –and the others He gave as signals for His Second Coming at Armageddon– “begin to come to pass.”

John the revelator gave in the very first verse of the thirteenth chapter ofRevelation the view of the Antichrist beast regime arising out of the “sea” of people that would be in tumult. It is the observation of a growing number of seasoned prophetic observers that the United States is now showing signs of being a part of this tumultuous “sea” of unrest that might soon bring history’s most ferocious tyrant to power.

The “Black Lives Matter” protests are doing much to ratchet up civil unrest within the nation. The nucleus of that disruptive organization, many say, is made up of rabble rousers who are career thugs, paid by the likes of George Soros, who has openly said he favors upsetting the order of things that communist-style socialism might be brought forth in America.

Many more than just the “conspiracy nuts” are wondering increasingly whether the current unrest being fomented might be the prelude to this president calling for martial law even before the November presidential elections.

The coup attempt in Turkey punctuates Jesus’ prophecy. That part of the world in particular is in great tumult, rearranging for fulfillment of things to come. The assaults on law and order –on the police in Baton Rouge that took the lives of officers and injured others is but the tip of the iceberg of the coming anarchy and chaos in our own nation as the end times play out.

Whatsoever is the outcome of this up heaving sea of human unrest we see heating up toward the boiling point, we can see Jesus’ prophecy for the end of days percolating in these troubled times. I believe that this means Christ’s Call”Come up here!” is very near indeed.

What Concerns Me the Most About Hillary Clinton

In the coming days there may be many times when America is compared to a Banana Republic. I think the first time we officially passed that threshold came last week with the announcement of FBI Director James Comey—that the Justice Department will not bring charges against Hillary Clinton over her improper handling of highly classified information.

“Although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information,” he said, “there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

The term “extremely careless” might apply if Clinton had taken a few documents home in her briefcase. But there is no excuse for someone who had four servers running out of her New York home, obviously used to download hundreds of classified files.

Since hackers from Russia, China, and North Korea have had no trouble accessing our secure networks, Clinton’s jerry-rigged system most likely had a direct connection to hackers located in Moscow and Beijing.

The FBI still does not have roughly 30,000 emails that Hillary Clinton deleted from her private server, due to her categorizing them as personal and not work-related. Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton was so frustrated with the state of our Intelligence Committee, he suggested that the FBI ask Putin for his copies of Hillary’s lost emails. Judge Andrew Napolitano claimed to have heard reports of a debate going on in the Kremlin about whether or not to release the emails.

James Comey said there was no evidence of any kind of cover-up. This observation can only be based on willful ignorance. Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest aide had already revealed in a deposition that her boss had ordered her to destroy the schedule records by burning them.

The hard drives that contained Hillary’s emails on her servers were wiped clean or destroyed so effectively—that no data could possibly be retrieved. This action was done by Clinton’s lawyers, whom by the way, did to have any type of security clearance allowing them to view classified documents.

Anyone who has closely followed the life of Hillary Clinton would not be surprised that she has time and time again escaped situations that should have destroyed her career or put her behind bars. She has been the center of so many scandals, you have to wonder about the integrity of the U.S. justice system.

In the infamous Whitewater Controversy, she and her husband were found to be involved in some suspect real estate investments. Hillary was also implicated in the Travelgate scandal, which alleged that the Clintons had fired White House travel staff employees so that the jobs could go to their friends.

While President Bill Clinton was exonerated of any wrongdoing, Mrs. Clinton was found to have played a central role in the firings and made false statements about the matter. She was also involved in the Filegate scandal, which alleged that she had requested and read top-secret FBI background checks to use for political purposes.

The Benghazi attack on September 11, 2012 was a disaster and should make it impossible for her to run for office. Islamic radicals attacked the American embassy in Benghazi, Libya killing Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. Requests for more security had been made by the American representatives in Libya to the Clinton State Department for months prior, but they were deliberately ignored.

Abundant evidence has shown Hillary Clinton to be a chronic compulsive liar. After Benghazi, she told the American people that a video was responsible, while at the same time she was privately telling people it was really a terrorist attack. In 2008, she falsely claimed that she landed under “sniper fire” in Bosnia, which was refuted by video evidence.

In 1995, she claimed that she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, the first person to reach Mount Everest’s summit. Clinton was born six years before that event. Hillary claimed that she and Bill came out of the White House dead broke in 2001. However, in 1999, the couple bought a five bedroom home in Chappaqua, N.Y. for nearly $2 million. In December 2000, they bought a seven bedroom house near Embassy Row in Washington, D.C. for almost $3 million.

One of the strangest things about Hillary is the relationship she has with the press. She treats the liberal media like dirt yet they still worship her. Her aides regularly use ropes to cordon off the media from getting too near to the political “star.”

Clinton considers open interviews with “media hordes” beneath her. Clinton campaign representatives announce when their candidate will consent to an interview with a specially selected correspondent; which is often someone who used to work for her—someone she can control.

There is no doubt in my mind that demonic forces are behind Clinton, and that she would be a disastrous president if elected into office.

What concerns me the most is that Christians do not see the extreme danger that we face with this woman.

In 2008, America made the mistake of voting in someone who viewed himself as a messiah. It is evident that he gets away with every despicable deed he foists upon the American people; primarily the erosion of our freedoms, sovereignty and safety. Never before in our lifetime has our country gravitated so close to a dictatorship. Obama is the most racist, divisive and lawless president in all of America’s history.

In this year’s election, a tragic error of serious consequences would be for people to vote for someone who views herself as an invincible deity. If Hillary Clinton is elected president Americans will be facing tyranny like never before. We don’t know when the Rapture will take place; we need to be diligent so the global new world order is hindered.

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

Godlessness Groupies

Antichrist, the coming beast of Revelation chapter 13, will be the most attractive, charismatic personality ever to step foot on the planet. He will have a following that defies imagination. His magnetic personality and, no doubt, striking appearance, will be the antithesis of Jesus Christ in every way when he “magnifies” himself, as the prophet Daniel foretold.

Jesus was meek. He came as a lamb. The Bible tells us that He had no outstanding physical features or characteristics that would set Him apart from the rest of humanity. The exceptions were when He was on the Mount of Transfiguration when He was said to shine like the sun, and when He was said to be the most “marred” of all men at the time of His crucifixion.

Antichrist, that man of sin, will have, literally, a worldwide, totally devoted following.

I’m a “back number,” as Dr. Vernon McGee used to say, referring to his own naïveté when it came to keeping up with the pop culture of his time. But it was brought to my attention the meteoric career of a singer who started out as Katy Hudson and now entertains under the stage name Katy Perry.

She went from singing as a Christian recording artist to becoming a secular, recording/entertaining phenomenon. Her Christian album under Katy Hudson sold only 2000 copies or so. She switched to secular recording and soared to the top of the charts. According to Wikipedia: She became the first artist with multiple videos to reach 1 billion views on Vevo with the videos for the songs “Roar” and “Dark Horse.”

Her following on Twitter and other social media forums indicates that she has at least 90 million fans.

Those numbers are stratospheric. Neither ol’ Elvis nor the Beatles ever reached those heights–although they had their share of groupies, to be sure.

Antichrist, according to Revelation chapter 13, will be literally worshiped by the whole world. Those who don’t worship him will have their heads lopped off and worse. His numbers of followers will put Miss Katy’s numbers in the category of the infinitesimal by comparison.

We know of the Democrat Party’s incessant coming under pressure to remove any reference to God from their party platform. When the convention began for the 2012 presidential nominating process, we remember that the no’s were much louder than the yeas when the question was put up for keeping God’s name being used in official language of the party’s doings.

Just over a week ago, there was a report of an entertainer demanding that the song “God Bless America” be no longer sung at half times or at the beginnings of sporting events. He wants that offensive anthem, as he characterized it, forever discarded. Even in the Congress of the United States, there is a constant drumbeat from some of the “progressive” quarters to do away with prayer to open sessions and to remove “In God we trust” from coinage and other governmental officialdom. There has been much progress, as they would have it, in getting vestiges of God, such as the Ten Commandments, removed from public places. Prayer and Bible reading have long since been forbidden in public schools and other public places, as we know.

The perverting of human sexuality at every level and the slaughter of countless millions of babies assault our senses daily.

There is an ongoing effort to rewrite America’s founding history. The champions of godlessness revisionists insist that the founding fathers wanted a totally secular nation–one devoid of any moralistic governance. When confronted with the facts of those founders’ own words in this regard, they, in effect, put the palms of their hands over their ears, close their eyes, and start humming one or the other of this debauched culture’s musical atrocities.

While engaged in research for my book, Rapture Ready…Or Not: 15 Reasons This Is the Generation That Will Be Left Behind, I looked into what the founders of America spoke and wrote on the matter of God’s influence in their nation-creating efforts. I included many of their quotes in the book and could have put in hundreds more. Here are a few.

John Adams, second president of the United States, said:

“The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.”

“I have examined all religions, and the result is that the Bible is the best book in the world.”

John Quincy Adams, 6th president of the United States, said:

“In the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior. The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity.”

Samuel Adams, Governor of Massachusetts, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Ratifier of the U.S. Constitution, said:

“I conceive we cannot better express ourselves than by humbly supplicating the Supreme Ruler of the world . . . that the confusions that are and have been among the nations may be overruled by the promoting and speedily bringing in the holy and happy period when the kingdoms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ may be everywhere established, and the people willingly bow to the scepter of Him who is the Prince of Peace.”

Benjamin Franklin, Signer of the Declaration of Independence, Diplomat, printer, scientist, said:

“As to Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the system of morals and His religion as He left them to us, the best the world ever saw, or is likely to see.”

Thomas Jefferson, Signer of the Declaration of Independence; Diplomat, Governor of Virginia; Secretary of State; third President of the United States, said:

“The practice of morality being necessary for the well being of society, He [God] has taken care to impress its precepts so indelibly on our hearts that they shall not be effaced by the subtleties of our brain. We all agree in the obligation of the moral principles of Jesus and nowhere will they be found delivered in greater purity than in His discourses.”

George Washington, Judge: Member of the Continental Congress; Commander-In-Chief of the Continental Army; President of the Constitutional Convention; First President of the United States; “Father of his Country,” said:

“While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian.”

“I now make it my earnest prayer that God would… most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of the mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion.”

How far we as a people have strayed by allowing the groupies of godlessness to determine that Jesus Christ is anathema, but that the gods of entertainment in this world are to be glorified and followed into the abyss of national destruction. There is time to turn things around if the people who truly name the name of Christ will follow the godly directive of 2 Chronicles 7:14. Sad to say—to put it in terms the groupies of godlessness will understand–the trending is in the opposite direction.

Let’s continue to do our Christian duty in carrying out the Great Commission. Let us also vote the right way to the best of our ability. But, at the same time, let’s keep looking for the glorious appearing of our “blessed hope” (Titus 2:13).
